We are all aware that selenium based crawler is just…. bad, the microservice is unstable and needs to be restarted all the time so fixing everything would maybe take more time than doing the following:</p> <ul> <li>Modify the pimAgent in our catalog microservice to call the inriver api directly or via adapter</li> </ul> <p>This is a more maintainable approach, and we also own it, so if something goes wrong we can fix it ourselves. Any future changes to PIM interface would break the existing setup again, so lets avoid it</p>

343<p>Update: we decided to move the brand, subbrand and commercial color validation to the InRiver PIM side. So the inbound product microservice shouldn’t perform this validation anymore. We can also discard the feature to remove the images for global brand products as this was relying on the PIM Agent. We will make sure images for global brand products are ignored on the InRiver PIM side.</p>

In IN-5221 we created the microservice functionality, in this story we set up the flow</p> <p>Note: we can't ask OIL to add the EANs, because then they will add it for all NOs, and this might break existinig integrations. 1368<p>The prefix hack stayed in esb. First it was moved to the microservice but then we would be adding prefix two times. Because when message is placed to the queue it is consumed by the esb and processed. In that flow the prefix is added.</p>
