The universe and every entity of life and non-life that it swallows is an infinitely recursive computer program. Who could possibly write a program this extensive alone? No one could write this alone. The entities that inhabit the program are the constructors of the program. Our universe is one giant recursive function containing problems of magnitudes that are inconceivable to explain or understand. Quantum physics displays to us that there are multiple dimensions. These multiple dimensions act as straw covering our track to our own mind. The story I am about to tell you is purely fictional and is a result of a constructor within a problem unsolvable.
This book is an account of one person. This person can be anyone you wish. There is no sexism, truth, nor lies within this writing. You will take what you wish from it and I will gain what I can from it. Be open-minded, because without our minds active, we are vegetables.

Chapter 1

The greatest of the spending spree is ending. The 200-year ‘boom’ that allowed us citizens of this magnificent industrial American fast-food republican world has become threatened. Our wonderfully potable levels of wealth, security, health, and longevity of existence have been a lie and is falling down the void that we seem to loose contact with in high-pressure situations. Or so they say… Conservative heavy wars are raging against the final hopes of a better world with science and engineering. Almost daily, evidence is peeking above the surface and we can no longer take our lives into granted for a dark horse is approaching out of the water that is our neighboring countries. Research is controversial in important areas, and if not perused, life will imminently become extinct. Our children will soon perish in a hell that we created. Parasites or predators? Politics or reason? Our extinction is blurry but clear as well as the answer to prolonging it. At times there will be abundance, and at times there will be accumulation and waste. But, is there really a wall that separates life and death? Is there a difference in being awake or being in a coma? No one thinks of themselves as beings that do nothing more than accumulate waste and compute fuzzy mathematics. We think of ourselves as people who have goals and people who are “productiveâ€. Do we want to maximize our stock value and produce an effective economy as a mere side effect? My friend, we are actors within an external framework of rules and tribulations. Even a capitalistic leader needs a framework. We couldn’t survive without security. Science has come a long way. A very long way. In fact, science has come so far to tell us that we are living in a black hole that exists within another universe. Calculations can now express how space-time inside of a black hole tends to expand at 1.4 times its most inferior size in, at the least, 46 seconds. This is 2 entire singularity orders of magnitude faster than Planck time. It has come to our knowledge that the universe has expanded to what we currently see with our eyes from Earth.
The counterproductive environment of the human brain is a wonderful creation. With certain conditions applied to the brain, tasks are able to be completed in a more efficient way. A human brain from birth to death is useless without updates. Updates to an organism of any kind are positive unless they are degrading to the moral ideas of humankind. Where did these moral ideas come from? Did they come from the Roman Empire when sex was an everyday occurrence in a city of sin? Did they come from our government when controlling the people was the only option for their survival at the end of time? These are questions that will be answered in this book.
Lingering inadequately with my hands behind my back, I gazed into the stars through a small octagonal window. I didn’t quite linger for I was floating a bit and beginning to lose control. Space is like a virus that infinitely spreads and is continuing to be a pandemic that is uncontrollable by the mind. Although, space is a beautiful creation if you consider it to be like a dangerous but beautiful flower. The spread of the universe is influenced by the size of everything it contains, the number of relative days in which it has been spreading since the dawn of man, and the probability of its expansion. This expansion is impossible to stop.
Loss of physical and mental control happens a lot when in space. A voice reckoned throughout the corridors “This is your captain, Dr. Carmack, report to the main deck immediatelyâ€. I knew Dr. Carmack from college. He was wedded to the science of archeology and somehow made it into aerospace engineering. It was not that easy for me to join the field. He was, to say the least, a happy person. When I say ‘happy’, I mean happy, because I am not the happiest person in the world. I wouldn’t say that I am sad. I would only conclude that I am in between happiness and sadness. I am at a point in my life where I can look past emotion. I can overcome and create it. The crew consisted of 3 people. Dr. Carmack, Larry Enuich, and I. Dr. Carmack had some Spanish in him and were a short man. His face was full of discrete wrinkles and spoke with a raspy voice. His hair was a bit curly and he was always on edge about ridiculous subject matter. He could either be extremely friendly or extremely hostile. Larry was young; far too young to be aboard a ship with research this important. The first thing I noticed about him was his lack of conversation and group skills. He is the type of person and thinks about too many things at once while in a conversation. While talking to him he agrees to everything you say and when later asked about what you said he has trouble remembering it.
So, it was time for my midnight snack of banana chips, so I began my climb to the Café ISS. As you have guessed my fellow librarians, I have been called upon the International Space Station. I turned on the tap which only contains warm water. I filled my container with the warm water and fastened it down to the corner of the room. This way, I can achieve a cold drink in about an hour or so. The water here has never tasted like water from a planet that generates its own. As we all know, black matter can’t generate liquids, only a God. As I crouched to the makeshift table and began the usual food catching game, I overheard some speaking among the main deck. This speaking was not easily heard for it was barely audible through my wall. “Isaac, you are one lucky fellow… can you tell us how you ended up here and who you work for?†Dr. Carmack asked.
“I was on the runway employed by Materina Space Center on a mission to deliver a confidential package to this Space Station.†“Materina Space Center?†asked Carmack, “Yesâ€, replied Isaac. “I was set to launch the glider into orbit with earth and dock with you; I was to give a portion of my fuel and the package over to your crew. Hence, I was only allowed to use a portion of my fuel to make it here because half of it would be for you. Due to the size of the aircraft, there was no extra space for fuel and the package is of utter importance. The ship you found me in is a DG, which I am sure you know by now what it is capable of doing…â€, “No, I do not… please continue†spoke Carmack with confusion in his voice. “This ship is a state of the art technology, so as you might have guessed, I am not very experienced with it. But, as I was saying before, I was only allowed to use a portion of the fuel- 13,500 kilograms to be exact. I began the ignition sequence and the ship took off at an extreme velocity. The g-force was like nothing I have ever experienced in flight. 2,325 kilograms of fuel was used to escape the atmosphere which isn’t arguably bad considering the size of the ship. I stopped using fuel for a bit and let off of the ignition. I began my orbit around earth with 4,114.85 kilograms of fuel remaining. Once in space, the ship was extremely easy to fly. It felt as though I was flying a crop duster. Altitude was rising as velocity was lowering with no issues abroad. You must counter the obvious lack of horsepower with an increase in velocity. So I did… Your ship was vaguely in sight as soon as it began to fade away. I lost control of the ship and no longer could figure out how to maintain control again. This was due to a lack of training on part of the space center and a lack of engineering and design of the vessel. And so, I began to nervously fiddle with controls. I tapped the horizontal level switch and then it was obvious my situation was worse than before. The ship began to spin out of control while using up large portions of my fuel. I lost all hope in the mission, and then I saw something in the distance that changed my outlook on this disaster. I saw a twinkle in the distance of dead space. I thought maybe it could be a dying star, or it could be your space station and I might be drifting on track again. So, I blasted the engines hoping that I was heading in the right direction. I realized that my problems had all resulted in accidentally hitting the hover ignition switch which causes all of the hover engines below the craft to fire simultaneously. Needless to say, that twinkle in the distance expired and I eventually passed out due to lack of oxygen. Yes Doctor, I was lucky to arrive here. I don’t know how I made it, but it must have been a miracle. “. Their voices soon got quieter and quieter. Then, over the ships loud speaker I heard “Fredrick to the main deckâ€. This is where this story begins to get interesting my friends. I climbed to the main deck and met with Dr. Carmack. The new crew member was strapped with electrical tape to an operating table facing the opposite direction of me. Dr. Carmack looked at me as if he had seen a ghost. He pushed the table towards me. Carmack spoke “I introduce you to Isaac. Have you met?†I felt as though I was staring into a mirror. This man was me, or he was a clone of me. Chills were sent down my spine and I spoke “I don’t understand… he looks just like me… I suppose we have metâ€. “It sure as death feels like we have†joked Isaac.
I walked over towards the package which was in perfect condition considering the consequences. A large yellow sticker was on the top of the box which read “Open in four years or open in the afterlifeâ€. Has four years already passed? I sure hope the afterlife hasn’t. Maybe this guy was actually me, and I came here from the past to save myself from an impending doom. Or, maybe we just strikingly resemble each other. It could be a prosthetic as well… I mean there is a bit more hairs on his face than on mine… In times like these it’s a bit harder for someone to sell a story like this to a liberal with standards like me. Dr. Carmack pulled me out of the room. The door closed behind us and he looked at me as straight forward as I have ever seen him looking at me. “You know what he told me when I asked him what year it was?†“What?†“He told me 2083…†The odd thing about this predicament is that the current year is 2046. Therefore, the package which is supposed to be open in 4 years is either supposed to be opened in 2050 or 2087. “So Carmack, the package will be opened when?†I asked. Carmack replied “No idea Fredrick… no idea.†So I began to wonder what the heck we were going to do with this guy. First, I wanted to know about the ship, then maybe about his life from 2046 till 2083. I suppose the hair on his face is from age… He doesn’t look any older than me though. The next morning I woke up with a hangover. I have no idea how this hangover came about but sometimes whiplash occurs throughout the night when in the ISS. I grabbed a vomit tube from the shelf above my bed and missed.
We have a designated area for trash and this is where I dispose of my plastics. I had a very small package of space food of which I had eaten this morning and I properly disposed of it as necessary. Feeling full and ready to go about my day not thinking of the previous night, I floated into Isaac as if he was pulling me towards him. Isaac had been eating some of the Neapolitan ice cream for breakfast and disposed of his trash in the designated trash bin. “Have you tried the cookies ‘n cream?†Isaac asked. “I am actually not that fond of it… it is a bit too sweet for me.†I said. Isaac replied, “It is also a bit too sweet for me as well, but sometimes it is a nice change from the variety packs.†I began to wonder then how much alike we actually were so I began to ask him a few more questions. “Where are you from?†“Do you mean planet or solar system?†“I mean city, on Earth… “, “I am from Earth, I grew up in the same place as you.†“That is an interesting thing to sayâ€. “Do you think I am a clone of your entity?†I replied in remorse “Yes, I do think you are a clone.†“I am not a clone, for that I am certain. ““Then what are you?†I asked. “I am human. I was on a mission that apparently I couldn’t complete.†“Interesting, so what is in the package?†“I have no idea… that is as much a mystery to me as it is to you sir.†I propelled from the wall and eventually staggered into my room.
The kitchen was too small for my liking as much as I like small rooms for computer work; I like large areas for when I do not prefer to ponder in nonsense. Thinking is for people who want to accomplish something in their life; relaxation is for people who need something in their life. What I really need is a cigar. A cigar imported from Mexico with all the correct ingredients for relaxation. Not the illegal ingredients, but the natural ingredients although some of the natural ones are illegal in the United States. I began to wonder what I could ask him, if I could ask him personal questions and questions about answers I know to be true and ones I know to be false. I wonder if his memory and skills are the same as mine. But, I know I could most likely fly any space craft given the proper training and knowledge of the mission. The only mission I am on right now is a meaningless activity, so maybe I should change my priorities.
My bones began to ache and I went back to my room to swallow a few muscle relaxers. Eating habits and nutritional deficiencies are mostly overlooked upon the ISS as is religion and bathroom etiquette. If you become deathly ill, what can they do for you? You are stuck up here. It’s not easy to send an ambulance up to space, nor is it easy to float back to earth. My bones are deteriorating due to the physiological effects of being in microgravity. Things like this are actually part of the reason we are up here though. We are up here for research and exploration and there are always consequences. I was once told that all engineering is compromise. You begin to wonder if the compromise worth losing your life over; only if the compromise causes lives to be saved. But, that’s for the moral minority… I have never been one for morals.
Dr. Carmack sat down next to Isaac for a long conversation concerning a large amount of memory lost due to lack of oxygen. “You wake up then immediately prepare yourself for a long day. The day before becomes a forgotten history. It is placed in the dumpster of your brain and forgotten. You might be thinking “I can remember yesterdayâ€â€¦ The truth is that you remember it now, but in the future you will forget it. Parts of your brain will dissolve over time and new parts will be used that have never been implemented before. This is something that restricts us from a lifetime amount of memory and we must utilize our short term memory the best we can under circumstances that can possibly destroy it. The more chemicals you take in to your body, the more depleted your short term memory will be hence memorization depletion. So is memorizing things the only way to learn them? I suppose, but also there is learning that deals with experience in what you are learning about…†Isaac butted in†but still, isn’t this memorization? Isn’t memorization the same as experience?â€, “Technically yes. Theoretically no. Try this as an example; a set of mathematical homework problems are given to a set of students. Some students will be able to simply skip class and work through the problems with no difficulty and some will struggle and obtain tutoring for themselves. This 2 to 1 student ratio of mathematic students that can work the problems with little to no difficulty are most likely to forget the simple mathematical rules to solve the problems in the future due to their lack of “building upon the materialâ€. This also depends solely on their previous education. The students that had to “work hard†to understand the subject matter will, in fact, remember how to work the problems later in life. Short term memory intact from a previous memory location in the brain can lead to understanding. ““So, the point you are making is? “ “The point is, try to access separate memory locations in your brain to remember certain specific things to help us out here… How are we going to explain to Fredrick why you look exactly like him and where you are even from?†“Access the memory location in your brain that events when you look at yourself in the mirror.â€
The headache continued issuing pain to my neck and everywhere else I had muscles, so more pills were taken. Isaac was placed in containment to make sure he came aboard the ship with no diseases or infections of any sort so I was back to my original routines among the ISS. Dr. Carmack was outside of the ship fixing various exterior wounds on the surface due to Isaacs’s crash. One of these minute fragments was a radio telescope. I have been doing research with the one in particular recording audio from a few of the remaining planets in our solar system. Which now, there might even be less considering the flux of the Earth is, in layman’s terms, shredding and throwing the planets God only knows where.
Jupiter sounds like my voice this morning. and as my voice is dying, the planet is dying as well. Anyway, Gliese will suit me perfectly as I am not returning to Earth anyway. Gliese is still very primitive, although soon enough people will no longer have a choice of where they want to live and I will gladly be a candidate for setting up shop. I have also been recently administered a job to broadcast audio and video to the public on Earth information regarding what we are doing up here. The problem is, the interesting material I have is purely confidential so all I have to give them is Santa’s Christmas list of who is naughty and who is nice on board. Also, most of what I go through up here is psychological. There is no way to explain a brain when words cannot yet describe an experience after death.
Tonight will be my first broadcast and today my main mission is to find material for this extravaganza of positive encouragement on the future of every listener’s existence. I began to wonder if there was a case of identity theft aboard this ship. I also wonder what the risks are of me staying aboard the ship. This was cinema gold as I began to take notes for tonight. I began to make my way into the chemistry lab when I saw Isaac coming out of his room. “Isaac, come here for a second†I said. “There must be a freedom of getting to know people aboard this ship, and I admit, it’s hard to get to know someone when you barely know who you yourself are†Isaac said with a contingent voice. “There is more than enough time for you to find yourself Isaac. It is understandable as you might have guessed that in a case like this, the victim of the predicament is allowed for the defendant to be placed on trial by the other members of the ship.†“A trial aboard the ISS?†“Yes.†I tried to read Isaac like a book but he was almost emotionless. Isaac relaxed with a bottle containing some sort of green liquid in hand and spoke again. “What do you predict I am going to do?†“I predict you will flee the ship unaccounted for the confidential information you have most likely stolen from me.†Isaac asked “Do you have something to hide Fredrick?†I replied “Nothing that is of any concern to you Isaac. The Eden waits for me upon my leaving of this ship. “. But was that a true statement I made… will I really escape to a better life after this. It is doubtful but might make for an interesting conversation. Small talk… I hate it, but it might create conversation leading to memory recollection. “I have been in mediation.†Isaac stated, “I have been reenacting the mission before I arrived here. This has led me to remember that I did not come from planet Earth. I came from the planet Gliese. “I stated with enthusiasm “That is where I am heading, that is the Eden I am speaking of. I plan to go help form the betterment and creation of life there.†“The creation of life?†Isaac reclaimed, “There is no life nor is there a daydream of being one. There might have been at one time, but now it is all in ruins. That is all I remember. I am pretty sure I grew up there though. I cannot remember my parents or any of my acquaintances at the space center there. ““Report this to Dr. Carmack as soon as you can. “ I told Isaac. Now I know; Now I know that something crazy is going on here. I know for a fact that if he is telling the truth, this is not a case of identity theft. This could be a number of things.
I sat in my room preparing my script for tonight’s show. In 3 Earth hours I would start the broadcast and embarrass myself. I didn’t have that much information but I knew I could make up half of it because the general public is hidden from 90% of what we do up here. There isn’t much I can say about the crew itself considering this is the smallest crew ever aboard the ship in history. I wrote down various goals that we are going to meet scientifically in research and human health. A loud banging was upon my door so I opened it up and what I saw was quiet startling. Isaac was covered in blood. He was the calmest of people and now he was a bit shaky. “Carmack is dead.†Isaac said. “What?†“Carmack killed himself.†I was in utter shock. It wasn’t that I was ever close to Dr. Carmack but he is the only person here capable of manning the main deck. We climbed to the main deck where I saw Dr. Carmack’s remains inside of the DG ship that Isaac arrived on. For the past few days, Dr. Carmack has been repairing our ship, but that’s not all; he had been repairing Isaac’s ship as well. Maybe he was delusional, I don’t see him enough to know what he is like or what he is doing up there. It’s difficult to imagine floating around in a metal can millions of miles from earth until you actually do it. Sometimes there is no escaping fate. Space paranoia gets to us all in the 5th dimension of black matter. It is the middle-ground between light and shadow in which we lose basic logical understandings of simple things such as matter, space, and time. It makes you wonder whether humans were created to simply stay on solid ground and never leave the planet earth- or any other planet containing humans.
Some astronauts are lucky, some are not so lucky. See, the astronauts that are lucky actually have an electronic psychologist on board. Our electronic psychologist has malfunctioned. Why an electronic psychologist you may ask? Well, astronauts usually don’t like communicating about their issues because they might lose flight privileges.
It looks as if Carmack had literally tried to reenact the crash Isaac had into our ship. We carefully removed the body inch by inch and carefully examined it. It is impossible to piece together a puzzle with every piece the color of skin. There was very little degradation due to the coldness. His body was pretty well refrigerated, I must say. It was difficult to examine all of him because he was breaking into pieces the moment we removed him from the ship. The weird thing is though, when I examined his legs, it appeared that he had been bound around the ankles with som
