Hi Dave,

Hope you doing well?

I am Joshua and I am a student working on an application utilising the Discord API and your Sportradar API. My application is intended for personal use but maybe later in the future be scaled bigger to an open source application.

I have recently contacted your support team. I asked them about my call quota because my Discord bot had recently been hacked and I had received an email informing me that I had reached my quota. I had thought that the hacker had got their hands on my key for the API and made many requests to your servers enough to use all my quota. I went to check my key report and it showed no usage. The support team suggested I talk to sales about getting a call limit increase and they forward me to you. I also got my key reset for security reasons and now my call quota has been reset.

To answer your first question, I am using the data from the API to create a sporting tipping (mainly AFL – Australian Football League) Discord bot. The tipping bot will not be making me any sort of profit. There is no prize involved and purely for fun. All, the data I will use will be saved temporarily into a file that is secure and that will ensure the bot doesn’t have to make lots of requests to your servers. At the moment the program (in Python) updates the files every 24 hours. The bot is still in development so I may need a higher call limit in the future.

The main product I would be interested in licencing would be the AFL (Australian Football League) v2 API. I may in the future expand my bot into many other different sports.

The reason I chose your product was that it was free. All I would be looking for would be a slight increase in quota. I am unsure if l should purchase the full licence for the API. But in the future, I may like to licence your product. Can you please explain to me the trial tier of your service and what benefits licencing gives?

Thanks again,
