The Emerald Herald had stepped into the city, previously he had only passed through. The sole surviving Cetra hadn't had the time to explore the city much. Given his outfit, he stood out like a sore thumb, white base suit with golden trim and accents. He wore a mask over his face to hide his identity, he bore a striking resemblance to a woman named Aerith. Rather he was her clone with some minor alterations. "Now that I've rounded up the guys and gals... I think I'll explore this city." Cain sauntered through the front gate, this was a city of seafarers a place for military men. He respected the lifestyle, applauded it even. Living a similar lifestyle with SOLDIER, he looked about eyes grazing about the area. He sauntered into the city not sure what to expect, and he was sure that he'd find something to entertain himself.

Daily tasks were now a chore for the lonely shopkeep. After being released from the clutches of the WEAPONs project, Tallulah only knew her position as the owner of a resale toy shop. In her crafting station behind front counters, the creative woman spent most of her time fixing broken toys or stitching busted dolls. With mending comes supplies which lead her to be out in the general marketplace with a small woven basket. Already filled with thread, pincushions, and other knick-knack necessities, the basket was nearly flowing over. Not looking which way she was going, the azure haired woman had found herself bumping directly into a suited gentleman. No sound escaped her aside from a small startled inhale, the woman's heaping carrier spilling over so her objects tumbled freely onto the ground. Avoiding the male's gaze she dropped to her knees and began to collect the items with a soft bite to her lower lip. Carefully place strands hid her right eye as those luscious curls fell around her face, the woman's feminine frame adorned with a simplistic sundress that was a mint green. Nude wedges wrapped around her feet adding subtle lift to her stumped height. One item that stood out from the toppled collection within her basket was a friendly-looking Moogle Doll. It was her companion, and she carried it wherever she went. Grabbing the pincushion, and a few spools of thread her barely above-whisper soprano voice apologized, "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to."

Someone had bumped into him it knocked his mask off his face immediately he dove down and began helping the woman with her belongings. Then he felt it, her strength, the WEAPON within her body. He narrowed his vision upon her deciding that she'd to be tested. His stand manifested itself onto the physical plane, Emerald WEAPON appearing from the depths of the man's soul. Yet this feeling was even deeper than that, a bond between the two weapons that couldn't be defined by mere words. Friendship in life and death, in Sapphire's death Emerald mourned. Cain smiled as she spoke yet when she stood and he took some time to retrieve his mask. His vision turned onto the woman's doll as he stood replacing his mask on the way up. "Don't worry... its quite alright. Really." He was sure that she was a catalyst, and judging by Emerald's unbridled joy he had to meeting this woman it had to be Sapphire. Cain watched her, gauging for a reaction to Emerald's presence. "What is your name? I'm..." Cain pondered for a second whether he should tell her or not. A few strung together chords and musical notes from Emerald had made a suggestion. "I'm Cain." He said bowing respectfully. His tone was riddled with a heavy archaic accent, he lifted his head watched her, waiting.

The sound of the gentleman's mask toppling over onto the ground forced her to nearly jump out of her skin. As twice the pair of hands work to reconstruct the heaping basket of items, Tallulah took protective hold of her Moogle Doll and clutched it to her chest as if it had untold sentiment. Its crossed eyes, if looked at, would feel as if one were staring right back in a reflective expression as its spread wings flattened across her bosom. A free hand carefully moved to dust her knees and smooth the ends of her cotton dress as the woven basket suspended upon her forearm. Still biting her lip she never once let her heterochromic gaze find his own, feeling far too shy as she endured the observant study Cain conducted upon her. He knew. He knew what she was even if she didn't fully realize past the cloud of trauma that hadn't settled like dust post-sandstorm. Pearly whites imprinted plush flesh of her lower lip nervously as she stood before the man with the mask. Sapphire's Catalys twas fragile, like a glass cannon waiting for the wick of a burning fuse to signal it's release. Within her stirred a being that was very alive, beckoning for its release. A clear wall with no way to surpass it blocked the synced connection between the legendary protector and it's catalyst. Even apologizing to the gentleman had been the most she had spoken in weeks after partaking in a vow of silence. Her single-hued gaze looked up to meet his own vise despite the mask, slightly glowing cerulean depths like an unlocked chest waiting to be opened. "A-Are you sure? I-I...I should have been looking where I was going." Drawing the basket closer to her frame she took in a deep breath only to express a heartwarming smile across smooth features. "Tallulah." With a small nod if her head her body seemed to conform with the gest of her head, sliding her left foot behind the right and bending at the knees in a small informal curtsey. Etiquette of her youth. "I-its nice to meet you." Her voice resembled that of a mouse's when she spoke, silky and quiet-like. Despite the crowd of people wavering past them, she was shocked he even heard her in the first place.

The Emerald Herald nodded. "Tallulah." He said letting the name dance across the palette of his tongue. Though he never heard of her, the logs were destroyed mostly. He only had hints and clues about where they could or would be. "I assure you, you are alright." He could see it in the woman's cerulean gaze, she was afraid, startled and confused about everything. Beneath the mask he frowned. Emerald, I don't know If I can reach out to her... The WEAPON responded with a series of chords and musical notes though worried for the woman's general safety it expressed that Cain had no choice. Aye... I shall do my best. But I am inexperienced with women. Though I can read emotions... women are a new ballpark. Emerald remained silent, choosing to instead prod at Cain's back shoving its body towards him. He wouldn't pry for information, the woman was appealing to the eye. The woman appealed to a flavor that was unknown to him. Cain may have just discovered his preference in women. How could that be? Well you see, Cain was born a test tube child that was immediately submerged into a militaristic lifestyle. A hand reached up moving to grasp hold of the mask and pull it away from his face. The hood pulled back, revealing a slender pale face with strong cheeks a pair of dimples when he smiled. Vibrant emerald green eyes, illuminated on their own. His braided main was allowed to flow down his back stopping just below his rear. "The pleasure is mutual, fair maiden. I am quite new to this city would you mind giving me a tour?" Cain inquired. Surely something tragic had to have happened to her, he could feel her life-force strong within her body. The WEAPON project was cruel and taxing on the mind, a rough endeavor to deal with. However, given Cain's upbringing, he was quite used to it, traumatizing scenes and battle alike. His gaze once more found to hold that enchanting gaze of hers once more. It seemed it was too easy to find her, could this union be destiny like the previous encounters?

Her feminine frame stood with tension, timid and shy. Her mind was actively working to piece the puzzle together as her clear vise looked him over. His face struck a familiar chord which gave rise to a deep memory swimming in her subconscious. Cain was familiar to her, as if she had met him before. But where? A small quiver in her right orb revealed calling trauma, her mind invoking a warning that deception could be at hand. Queen of Deception her mind told her as if the former Turk Assassin still existed. Alas she had come halfway to full circle by relinquishing her hardened exterior, her freedom, for the song of a caged bird. Studying his eyes, the flow of his braided tresses, and that lovely smile.. her head slightly canted off to the left as a peculiar fondness fell over her. He was pleasing to the eye, and had depths that dared one to venture. A silent note was made that his eyes had that similar Mako glow to her own. It was often a signature of a SOLDIER member, one of which she was not. "Are you sure you havent been here before...?" Curiosity played at the whims of her meek voice as her canted off to the other side, studious eyes searching for an answer to satiate that faded memory. After a moment she simply shook her head and let out a nervous chuckle, her eyes falling half shut in the process to shield that golden orb from view while her tresses waved about. Strategically she placed that fringe back over her left eye before smoothing out the front of her dress once more, a diamond bangle sparkling on her left wrist. "Is there anything you're seeking to find in this grand capital, Cain?" Fragments of her old personality somehow pierced through the fog within her mind, a spark of confidence giving articulation and appropriate volume to her vocals. For once that mousey tone melted into an alluring alto pitch. "Do you wish to see the finer things, or the reality?" Her gut was telling her, encouraging her to indulge in this gentleman's company as if it were the right thing to do. Moving her Moogle doll to rest atop her basket, one of its arms seeming to fold around the arch like it was hanging onto it naturally. "If I am to show you around..." Raising the basket slightly she gestured to her inventory. "I might need to put these away in my shop. It's not far from here."

"I've passed through this town once when I arrived at the docks. I returned to Midgar." If she was a Turk then they surely must have met each other at least once. Cain was a SOLDIER. "That being said I haven't had the time to explore. I've had pressing matters to attend to." Her meek voice fell on his ears, it was filled with an interesting allure one he could not resist. "I'm a man of reality, lived in reality. For once, I'd like to see the finer things in life." He wasn't entirely new to the town, he worked with Junon's military division on more than one occasion. "Working for SOLDIER does that to you." Given his status, she might have even seen him in his final moments before being admitted into the WEAPON Project. Cain grimaced, eyes moving to the floor being reminded of his predicament. Here more for business than pleasure. I may have already found what I'm looking for. "Certainly." He spoke. Emerald chimed in once more, musical chords and all. She's a fickle thing Emerald. Obviously, she hasn't woken Sapphire yet... no, it's obvious that she doesn't want to accept her WEAPON. Cain was reading into her, deciphering her personality. Something told him to stop, to cease with business. To kick back and enjoy whatever it is she had in store for him. Emerald's eyes focused on the woman, circling around from behind in Cain to observe her. His presence should have been felt, maybe even seen. When she'd move to her shop Cain would follow in tow.

Tallulah often worked alone on her cases, never hanging out in their base of operations unless she was returning or retrieving orders. Part of the mysterious contact was what helped her carry on in such a profession. The less they knew about her the better. "That's a shame." Her smile brightened slightly as she moved her free hand to point toward the east, toward one of the less crowded parts of the sector. "My shops a few blocks that away if you don't mind accompanying me." Hearing he had already seen reality was one thing, but the word SOLDIER was like an instant trigger. Glowing eyes widened as her face changed to an expression like a deer caught in headlights. Right before him Tallulah froze as dozens of images from past trauma taunted her, recalling being hassled and carried and transported by their hands. The etchings of the significant sigil burned hard into her skull then to the point where her eyes crossed and she teetered off to one side. "Wh-whoa." she stammered, her lower extremities working quickly to maintain her balance while her arms moved out to either side for ensured stability. Her vision was momentarily blurred as her head shook softly once more, blinking a few times to clear away the fuzz in her vise. That was strange.. She thought to herself. Tallulah refused to deny what she knew that was, playing it off as some sort of dizzy spell. "Pardon me, I've been having trouble keeping steady as of late." This was the truth, though its meaning ran far deeper than she dared to admit. Her gaze averted from his to look down the long cobble-path that lead toward her shop. Without missing a beat she offered him her small hand with a ginger smile. That cerulean orb looked back to him only to study his features once more. "What's Midgar like?" Being Sapphire's Catalyst, it was apparent that her and the WEAPON had a bond. What was most unfortunate had been the lack of synchronization. Tallulah could feel the pull, the destined line that connected them, but she knew not how to establish a form of communication. There was an untold blockage. Distant sounds of banging against hard metal doors clanged at the depths of her mind with sounds of low hissing. Averting her gaze she forced her view to pick out something pleasant like the flowers on a nearby stand, vibrant in color and in full bloom. It was a distraction from the calls of distress she knew not how to handle. Once they conjoined, the young woman would simply start their short journey toward her shop, her basket lightly swaying with the generous steps she took.

The moment she started falling over Cain tilted his head. Watching as she quickly regained her balance, it seemed she had post-traumatic stress disorder from the entire ordeal. "It's fine really." He said holding back a chuckle. A gloved hand moved forward and took hold of the woman's small hands. There it was that instant trigger, the shock between destined. Cain had chosen to ignore it, unable to understand its meaning. Blind, meek and fickle in his own ways. "You have a lovely smile Tallulah. Thine beauty far surpasses any flower." Growing up without a set of parents, living all if not most of his life in the military. Without anyone to teach him about love, and the ways of life. Cain was a hopeless war machine in a sea of culture. Unable to function without methodically analyzing anything. Though it seemed Tallulah "Well, it's full of technological wonder. The sad reality is that people beneath the upper plate suffer." Cain shook his head and looked at the woman. He wasn't sure what to expect, she seemed like a fine woman. Obviously raised by the finest, yet there was more. He knew an assassin when he saw one and she was no exception. Dismissing the hunch he shook his head. "Tell me about yourself Tallulah. You appear to have more depth than your beautiful exterior leads on." He looked down at her and smiled warmly, Cain would reveal information as she would. Not the entire details as to his birth, she wasn't anyone important to him. Yet. His eyes fell on the shop as they quickly closed the distance. "You seem awfully protective of that doll. Is there anything of importance behind it? Maybe a childhood item?" Cain asked, glowing emerald hues moving down to focus on its features.

Digits coftly coiled to take the gloved hand into her own, flesh connecting to fabric. There was a warmth that drew her in, that wanted her to stay and it made her heart pause though her body weaved past crowds and market stand toward her shop - Little Treasures. Keeping her basket close to her chest she tugged Cain along with the other, keeping her eyes on the path ahead. Azure tressed bounced with every step she made as her body carried a melodic sway. Every step was fluent as if she were about to move into a dance. "Despite their glow...SOLDIER, your verdant depths remind me of tall trees within the maze of a botanical garden. Must have your mother's eyes." It was a guess on her part, seeing how round and gentle they appeared to be. There was always a subtle difference she could tell between masculine and feminine features. Though she primarily looked like her mother, her calves and the curve of her shoulders slightly resembled her fathers, as well as the button of her nose. Tallulah couldn't help but try and conceal the apparent blush staining her cheeks from the unexpected compliment. Her beauty surpasses flowers? It was poetry, and one her sensitive heart could only pine to obtain. "All my life i've stived to give back to Junon. Not to just the upper society, but to those who really need it. The ones working hard for their daily upkeep. The ones who can't afford proper medical care, and fear those cold nights when their power goes out unexpectedly. I admittedly am acquainted with both worlds of Junon, and the culture down here surpasses any enrichment you can find upstairs." This was the honest truth from Tallulah. She experienced Galas and balls and luncheons. Book clubs and tea time and even the conferences inside the bold walls of Gennings Tech Inc. Where Shinra worked to make Mako a successful energy source, her family created an enterprise that took old versions of technology and made them useable again. Affordable for most classes of society. Watches. Phones. Even other gadgets such as the latest weaponry and tracking devices to hunt animals..or in her case, humans. Her mind was caught adrift the sea of youthful memoirs when Cain request she tell about herself. "I'm just a toyshop owner living a life she enjoys." A soft chuckle came from her to express the truth behind her statement as well as hesitation to explain further. It would take some prying for her to outright reveal just where all she had been. What she had done. What she had been through. Most of it was surpressed due to the trauma, scattered like pieces of an incomplete puzzle laid out flat within her skull. "I used a donation from my parents to pursue a passion. As they approached the front door there was a grand sign suspending above decorated in gold lettering stating 'Little Treasures' with a replicated graphic of her Moogle Doll holding up the tilted 'S' to keep it from falling, looking as if it were smiling and midflight with crosses for eyes. The sign always brought her piece and lit up her features in an indescribable way. "We're here." She announced as her heterochromic hues glanced over the display windows, hosting a themed story of action figures saving feminine dolls from villainous monsters. The setting seemed to match Junon to a tea. Parting her hand from his she dug down into her basket to retrieve a brass skeleton key that slid easily into its lock. With a small turn she listened as he inquired about her Moogle. "I wish it were a childhood item." Tallulah expressed this in a tone of fondness. "I stitched him up myself from nothing. Every patch, every connection, every bit of stuffing... I did that. When you give and mend and repair, one can't help but associate their spare times with revelling in the delicacies of life as they should be. This Moogle Doll is the result of that, and a lot of my customers are very fond of it." She wasn't about to mention how she talked to it like it were an imaginary friend, a realistic companion. The doll moved with the flow of the basket suspended on her forearm, its plush arms having mysteriously readjusted to hug the side of the arch instead of one arm loosely draped about it. Tallulah didn't move the doll since she propped it up there, and the minor change was overlooked by the woman as if it were mundane. "I'm the heiress of Gennings Tech. My parents own an innovative technology corporation."

The stab in the dark was more or less accurate, implying he knew who she was. "I guess so." Cain remarked though the compliment had brought a frown to the man's face. Those round peaceful orbs emulate a flash of light, a sign of power hidden in the depths of the man's soul. Cain had only seen the woman in his dreams, the dreams consisted of her life. Important events that were significant to her. Even the point where she died. Meeting her untimely end at the hands of Sephiroth. He never really knew who she was exactly, only feeling emotional turmoil after her the dream. The man inherited her legacy, everything she had to offer. Her heart, her persona, her undying love for all living things. Despite this, he was still weaponized, confused by his life. He felt remorse for his actions, wishing for redemption with each act. He eliminated anything that would stand between Shinra and victory. Though this was not his true purpose, he was created to show Shinra the way. The path to the Promised Land, the purpose for this was so they could build a glorious city. Create a land for the betterment of man. However beginning to realize the deeper meaning of those dreams he realized that if Shinra were to succeed it would mean the end of mother Gaia. Cain was enlisted to the weapon project, Professor Valentine was the man's creator. The one oversaw his birth, the one who engineered Cain's cells, the one who put together the ladder that was his DNA. Altering it for him to do much more than his Cetra ancestors. Cain could manipulate the flow of lifestream, heal, and even create new veins for Mother Gaia. Emerald followed behind them in tow, feeling his Herald's emotions begin to break down. It reached out a few musical chords reminded him of the task at hand, now was not the time to think about the events of the past. The future took precedence over the past. "The poor have always been soulfully enriched." Cain's eyes fell on her body, making note of how every motion was fluid in every step. She did not waste any energy. It brought a smile back to the man's lips. Cain's mind appreciated the little things, beautiful poetry, fine art, the creation loved reading. A favorite past time, a personal favorite was an Epic called Loveless. A book written in poetic verses. "How lovely. A woman giving back to her community. I approve." Once the hand pulled away Cain's own fell back to his side, looking over the shop he made a note of every detail. From the adorable Moogle holding up a piece of the shop sign to the villainous action figures. He made not of the doll, watching how it animated on its own. He paid no mind to it once inside he'd turn his gaze in every which direction. "Neat place." Though with the mention of her family he'd turn gazing to her with only a shred of his peripherals. "A woman with a rich background giving back to her community? I double approve." Cain turned to the woman fully, observing her once more. His stand retreated back into the depths of Cain's soul, moving back into the world within Cain's mind. "When you are ready." Cain said as his hands moved behind his back, thumbs nervously playing with the end of his braid.

He approved? Double..approved? When was approval sought? A quipping portion of her mind seemed to roll its eyes as if the socialite was expected to be snooty and conceited. On the exterior Tallulah simply chuckled and rose the basket. Her free hand plucked the doll from its position and posted it next to the tarnished register. "I'll be only a moment. I'll try and hurry." The woman was organized, and had a personal system. Sidestepping around the counter she pushed past a covered doorway and vanished behind descending beads into her crafting room. She set the basket down and proceeded to put up her newly obtained inventory one by one while being careful to not disturbed the paused works scattered across her desk. A wooden train with a missing wheel, and a wooden duck with no string. A teddy bear missing an arm, and a little doll who's hair was singed accidentally by fire. Being part of her charity, she never charged for repairs. Were one to get in depth of her financials, she was the sole reason this place was staying afloat. All of the merchandise were priced incredibly low. Mobiles suspended from the ceiling, and there were random blimps and airplanes flying in circles at a momentum all their own. The song sounds of classical music hummed quietly through speakers while shelves were stocked with board games, plush dolls, and more. A jar of candy sat behind the Moogle doll next to the register filled with hard candies that could trick taste buds into being sour over sweet. Minor rustlings could be heard. Small clinks and clanks as Tallulah diligently worked to stow things away. This was her home, and although she was a resident of Junon's Inn, the woman spent most of her time here. There was a barren attic waiting to be explored that she could easily house herself in. She just...didn't have the time. That was going to be her weekend project before she was abducted. As Cain was left in the main room, he would be able to indulge in the atmosphere of the shop. Its smell was pleasant, clean, and all of the items were neatly aligned and pulled to the front. Pleasant to the eye. In the center of the establishment was a tiny table with scattered pages of colorings left untouched - more than likely a distraction for toddler minds while parents tried to figure their earnings and fill out a form for repairs or plot birthday or holiday presents. Results of childlike colorings were displayed in dyed Popsicle stick frames behind the front counter to fill negative spaces on the clear wall. Were the man paying attention, the little apricot doll seemed to stand on the counter all to its own, cross-stitched eyes staring directly at the Cetra rather protectively. Its stubby arms were bent to prop on its hips while the white plush wings seemed to expand. The antenna atop its head wavered and bounced idly as if feeling the air around in the store to pick up on threats. Though it said nothing, the Moogle Doll was making its presence known to the mysterious man as if it knew its ploy. The doll was simply nonthreatening by appearance despite its proud and tall stance, especially for being a little over a foot tall. The Moogle simply waited for Cain to notice, to make eye contact before falling lifelessly down upon its back as a predicted clammor was heard in the back room. Tallulah shrieked in surprise as her long shelf of ribbon had become dismantled, the colorful strands of silk collapsing right on top of her. The iron mount sent the clumsy woman to the ground with a thud, her right foot knocking over her stool to cause more racket. The weight of the grand structure had her pinned somewhere between a table and a hard place, in too awkward of a position to stand up once more. "Why now..." She sighed to herself.

Cain indulged himself into the shop making a mental note every little detail. The little blimps that were in motion on their own, looking over the books generally reading over them. He spotted a familiar title: Loveless. Reaching up to pull the book from the shelf a gentle finger slid book out and quickly it found its way into his hand. "I haven't read this since..." Then it hit him, that gaze. He looked back to the doll, virulent Emerald orbs locked with its gaze. The tension turned that atmosphere hot, hot enough to set the world around them ablaze. He sauntered over to the doll, his footsteps carrying him quietly through the toy shop. "Little guy, I see you eying me with your vigilant gaze." He bowed respectively. "But I assure you, I've meant no harm. I will not bring any harm to you or your loved ones. If she expresses distaste in my presence I will be gone with the wind." Cain was respective to guardian spirits. A hand reaches out finger extending ever so slightly. An offering? Cain's index finger with little resistance from the doll pressed itself against the Moogle's chest. For the first time he let someone in, for the first time he shared his life with someone. But this would be a mistake, he'd let the doll know his weakness. Cain had nothing, grew up with nothing. Nothing but the purpose of his dark past. He showed this doll everything, the horrible crimes he committed in Shinra's tarnished name. His transformation into Emerald's Catalyst. But most important of all, his love for life, his mission to restore order to the world. To rid the world of Shinra and lead all men into the Promised Land. Cain was the type of man to touch the hearts of any being, resorting to violence as a last resort. When his finger was pulled away he was sure that was enough. Either this action would work or it would backfire. The loud noise of a heavy thud echoed through the shop. The loud noise of a heavy thud echoed through the shop. Immediately he looked at the doll. "I got it. No need to worry." He said he marched passed the doll and into the source of the noise. He pranced through the door to find Tallulah underneath a rack of ribbons. He sauntered over and with one hand he pulled the rack off her body. However, within his hand, his latent energy possessed the object and suddenly the colorful mess began spooling back into the neat design. He set the iron object on the ground next to her and offered her a hand. "Are you okay?" He asked her, worry apparent in his archaic accent.

What was unknown to Tallulah was a translated reaction. As Cain pursued the protective doll with interest, speaking to it as she stowed away her items, the Moogle Doll was scanning and searching its energy for any sign. Could the plush talk, it would have interrogated the Cetra. Its wings fluttered to cause it to hover as it approached, warranting defense while its little bubbly antenna stood erect atop its head. Try as the Moogle might, it couldn't find darkness dwelling in its wake. It believed the gentleman's words with caution. His digit that proceeded to press into its plush belly startled it, forcing an internal sound to be made. Cain would be able to hear it seeing as the animated creature forced the sound into his head. Its wings flapped with sudden haste as if it were startled, stubby arms flailing around. The Moogle could feel what Cain had felt, and was now in possession of knowledge it wasn't sure how to process. The shock of it all was the ultimate conclusion to its collapse on the counter. Tallulah had been stowing away ribbons only for the dismantled piece to collapse simtultaneously upon her, clumsy hands having dislocated it after a startling noise, high pitched and spastic in its sound, broke her concentration. The iron construct hat hit her head and knocked it against the wall, pinning one of her hands back as the other was trapped behind her on the floor, a bent knee shoved up tightly between the wall and the table just like her upper body while her right foot managed to somehow kick over a stool. Her hair was ruffled to where that long fringe was pulled back from her face, skittish eyes avidly searching for a way to escape until the sound of bids gave way to Cains appearance. A small startled gasp escaped Tallulah as she shut her eyes tight. The abnormality musn't be seen. The pressure of the rack was lifted, her left arm falling to her side once she was unpinned. "Clumsy me.." She muttered poorly. Her head dipped down as she sat there drawing her lower lip inward to bite at the plush flesh. Tallulah could sense the hand without spotting it, and as her right hand untangled to extend for it she could feel the appendage tremble. "I didn't realize it was loose." A pounding sensation was left against her forehead where it had hit her. Tiny digits locked with his own, slowly sliding up into a stand as her eyes remained shut. There was a moment of hesitation where Tallulah fell quiet, her left foot turning inward as her body reflected sudden shyness. With little sound to be made the Moogle Doll had reanimated once more only to push a part in the beaded doorway and hurl a single wrapped piece of hard candy at the back of the brunette's head. That same communicable sound was projected into the mans mind as it sneakily flew away back toward the register while the two were left in the backroom. "I'll have to clean this up later, but I won't keep you here. You said you wanted to see the finer things?" Tallulah had left her head toward the floor while talking, offering him a hidden smile as she stood timidly before him.

She was certainly a shy creature, fickle, timid, meek, yet Cain could only see strength. With the sudden thwack from that hard candy smashing into the back of his head. The noise was creepy, it played inside his head. The little whistle, it was creepy, to say the least. Cain dared not turn and meet that Virulent gaze from the Moogle. "I've gotten a chance to see something finer just now. Much more precious than any material item could fulfill..." He said to her, though unsure as to where the line just came from. An idle hand reached up, guided by Cain's heart. He reached up placing a hand on her chin to lift her head. "No need to be so meek and timid..." His hand fell before her, digits expanding as it remained offered for her to take. "Thine smile is like a rainbow after a rainy afternoon. Uplifting to the spirit and harboring promises of the morrow." Cain knew naught of the words that he spoke, but something inside was spilling out."Thine eyes are Enchanting and mysterious as any star-lit sky." Cain could not understand, where was this coming from? Emerald manifested itself, onto the physical plane entranced by the words of his Herald. "In short Fair Maiden, thine beauty is truly a marvel to behold. I can sense much more depth in thine Soul. Given the chance, I would be honored you allowed me to see thine beautiful soul." Cain displaying his poetic tongue, no doubt inspired by Loveless. Enamored in her beautiful visage, he said nothing more. Where did that just come from? Emerald chimed in with lovely musical notes, in short Emerald called him a gifted lover boy. Emerald please, that's embarrassing... Emerald's tone was filled jubilant notes. My little Cain is growing up so fast. Cain said nothing in return. Yet Emerald continued. Your going to cultivate the land with little Cetra one day.Cain's eyes closed as he released a sigh, eyes opening seconds later he smiled joyfully to Tallulah. "Show me a grand time, I can tell you are a dancer, I too myself have learned to dance. My SOLDIER buddies called me Footloose." The name was odd, yet funny. A testament to his skills on the dancefloor.

What was it that Cain had seen? First she bumped into him, and now he rescued her from an entrapment of silky ribbons. She had been nothing but clumsy, and shy, and unknowingly open. It hit her at the forefront of her thoughts that he was still a stranger to her, yet she felt like she knew him for ages. The distant sounds of claws against steel played at the deeper portions of her stalled mind, his velvetine words reaching out to not just her attention but her very soul. How could he be so sure? How could he be so certain about her as if she were the very thing he sought after. Tallulah analyzed the fact she felt no immediate danger though she faintly sensed the presence of another out in the main room. She hadn't heard the entry bell ring. All that could be heard was Cain's voice. She bit her lip harder as his digits cusped her chin to lift her face to meet his own. Those eyes remained shut, hiding their radiance from view though her body followed his movements. "I.." Her mousey choice of voice had surely returned as speech failed to be spoken. His poetry silenced her. So forthcoming, and bold. Her sensitivity was overwhelmed with the rawness of emotion. He was asking permission to see through those vibrant windows, to breach just what she was hiding. Her knees trembled, finding herself leaning back against the wall behind her for stability as she internall fought with herself to open her eyes. It would be too weird to hide her left eye. She knew he wanted to see not one, but both. He wanted to embrace the mystery. Finally, Tallulah relented to her struggles and gave in to the request. Lovely lashes kissed her cheeks before she slowly opened her eyes once more to reveal those Mako-touched heterochromic depths. Softly Tallulah swallowed as her personal vision was resolved to find Vermillion hues looking upon her so confidently. The longer Tallulah revealed the fragile gaze of her left eye, the more prominent the sounds of screeching and monsterous cries echoed in the darker parts of her skull. Sounds of a brute's body slamming against medal, thrashing and frightened as it begged to be free. For only a moment as she shared her full visage with Cain her normal vision seemed to recede as her mind was translocated elsewhere. Trapped. Darkness. Close quarters. Cold....underground. Tallulah's soft smile mimicked his own idly as the sight of hers stared at a metal door. It had mysterious markings, a language foreign to her own and undecipherable due to vivid claw marks carving into the metallic entryway. The screeching softened to a hushed cry as the creature's vision was her own. Sapphire's Catalyst had spontaneously connected with the parent WEAPON. Tallulah's expression drew a small blank as her left eye began to glow more, forcing her vision to return to the backroom of her toyshop. Once her vision returned her mind slowly began to recollect just what Cain had stated about being a dancer. "Of my..y-years.." Her mind was struggling to comprehend as the clarity of her vision was being invaded. "I've not danced aside from lessons of ballet...or formal recitals for the community.." Her speech was slow, calculated, articulate. Careful. Letting go of her lower lip she canted her head off to the right side, her face resembling that of someone who had been entranced as she looked upon Cain as if he were a foreign entity. As if someone was using her to look THROUGH him. This was strange. The hushed whined were further silenced as one of her bare hands rose outward, instinctively, toward his heart. Nothing could stop her from doing such as the monster that viewed what she seen studied the actions of the taller gentleman. The moment her hand touched the trimmed suit he wore a sudden calm swept over her, indescribable. The feeling was short lived before a crackle of electricity lit up the pitch black floor beneath the entity, sending it into a rampant revolt. Her eyes widened before she jerked her hand back and released a pained scream, those digits clutching her skull while her vise rolled upwards into her mind. "MAKE IT STOP!" Tallulah cried, her body feeling the results of the inexplicable trauma she felt. The room was dark on her once more as she shook her head, wanting to return to where she was and not that dark room.

Cain was feeling something across the span of lifetimes, people who were destined to meet each other for eternity. But unlike before he was lost, the strings have fate had been twisted and one of them had lost their way. Yet somehow those weaving hands had somehow bound them together either way. Cain watched as she revealed the other eye, golden in color. He tilted his head, watching as that mysterious eye emulated even brighter than before. Her hand reaches forward to touch his heart but instead of reaching forward press against his chest. The hand that remained in front of him lifted and caught hers mid-flight. Fingers entangling and intertwining like he had shown the doll. He showed her everything, even his birth. SOLDIER Second Class: Cain. Warrior with no words, a warrior with no history, warrior with no parents. Warrior with no one to love him or know he existed. The loneliness he felt through his life, all of that quelled the moment Emerald came into his life. Then he had shown her the fight, the struggle with Emerald WEAPON. His struggle, the fight to control him and the moment Emerald had accepted him. The calm between them remained, brief for there was a shock, an explosion of power that had caused her to cry and scream. He shook his head. She has yet to control him, no wonder. The two spirits were in conflict. One wanted union, and the other was confused. Emerald chimed in, speaking musical chords once more. Help her, break the barrier she's created on herself. Cain looked to Emerald. If I do that... I won't know what comes next. Her WEAPON might destroy her outright. Emerald turned its vision to meet Cain. Sapphire was wild in life, but in truth, she's a gentle creature. She can be tamed. Cain turned the woman, gaze fixated on her as she closed her eyes. "I knew there was more to you. You Sapphire Catalyst. Sapphire WEAPON is a wild creature in both life and death. Tame the spirit."Cain's hand returned to his side. The doll is gonna come in here and attack me. He sighed, knowing the worst was yet to come. "I'm going to break the barrier. But from here you are on your own. I can do no more for you Tallulah except be here for you in your time of need." He said as he drew closer, placing his right hand over her forehead, hand emulated a green fluorescent glow. Lifestream manipulation. The bonding between WEAPON and Catalyst was sacred, something that should not be tampered with. Cain had reached into depths of her mind, looking upon Sapphire WEAPON. Oh, how trapped she was, a union is all she wanted. He appeared in front of the cage, gaze remained vigilant. "I can let you out, but you must promise me a safe journey. This woman's fragile mind will break if you're too rough on her." Cain reminded the beast. "Emerald awaits you, he is eager to see you again." And with that, he ripped open the cage and disappeared from her mind. Stepping backward he watched, and waited while expecting an assault from a certain moogle.

His battles. His struggle. His wisdom. His life. The loneliness. The companionship. He was unlike her and so entirely different, yet in that instant all she found was a strange sense of unity. When his visionary display revealed the Emerald WEAPON her mind burned as the spirit within cried in agony, in longing, in pure hurt. Her digits trembled but gave his own a squeeze before the scenery had became too overwhelming to her fragile mind. Her breathing hastened, shortened as her vision was easily clouded over. As Cain stood before her those hands were pulling at Azure tresses, clawing at her skull just like the beast within wanted so desperately to be free. To escape the imprisonment it had been forced into. A starting trail of tears streamed from the corners of each eye, salty lines staining her rosy cheeks. Cain she mouthed helplessly without voice, those plush lips urging him to fix her in this episodic blowout. Her body slowly sank down back toward the floor, beaten with the staggering electrical shock as another cry of pain escaped her, the endurnce of the bright electric lights startling the creature further. "I-.." She whined and tried to shake her head from side to displace the pain she felt as it began to travel downward to her other vital organs such as her lungs and her heart. This was another episode like many others. Episodes she dealt with for months since the experiments. Since she was put in the WEAPON program. "dont..how..don't know how.." It was difficult to create a sentence as her whispering voice argued with him helplessly. "I accept.." Tallulah struggled to state this as she tried to shove the pain down thinking it would calm the distressed creature. His last string of words weren't coherent to the young woman as he planted the palm of his right hand over her forehead. Tallulah was losing control. After a moment when he began the manipulation her eyes snapped open wide to stare directly at him with her confused visage. Tallulah's vision was blinded as the instant connection between her WEAPON and Cain himself was made. Piercing gold eyes peered at him through the darkness, moving to suspend its weight upon the grand tail that made up a grand portion of its form. She looked like a mysterious serpent of the sea. Frightening, but protective. The weapon listened while it drew up its claws. A slow hiss escaped the monster within as Cain instructed her that her freedom would have to come with discipline. It was the mention of Emerald that forced Sapphire WEAPON into a submissive posture, propping the ends of her scythe-like talons into the ground below. It waited then as the cage was torn apart before launching its massive frame through the broken gate and into the sea it once knew.Tallulah could sense instantaneous release as the weapon escaped from its confines, her trembling frame seeming to subside while blinded eyes looked forward in a daze. The Catalyst was feeling the subsiding effects of the acute trauma, her mind avidly working to recompose herself once more. The first reaction she had when she pain has stopped was for both of her small hands to grasp a hold of his right as it retreated, not letting him create distance between the two of them. Her goldenrod orb fell concealed as her azure tresses fell over it on its own. She was breathing heavy, her frightened expression slowly softening as the episode was over. Hopefully there wouldn't be a next time as a strange connection unified the woman to her spiritual companion. "I'm sorry.." She apologized sincerely, her head throbbing from the aftermath. "Ive just been trying...to hold on...to keep myself together...but I can't. They broke me.." Tallulah spoke to Cain as if he already knew her story, and her past. The Projects, the Turks. "What I wanted... I wanted a simple change of pace. I never asked for this. I won't deny that it was meant to happen...but I didn't ask for the consequences.." She sniffled before sighing, moving one of her hands from his to wipe at her eyes. "I wont blame you..if you go.." But yet he stayed. He helped her, and Tallulah's rationality was denying that sole fact and still perceiving that he wanted to run after seeing her go through that. All the gentleman would be able to hear was a soft 'Kupo?' breaching his mind from the animated doll in the other room. Instead of outright attacking Cain, he had observed from around the corner. The inquiry was merely asking if his owner was okay.

"She's alright my dear Moogle friend." His voiced boomed through the mental plane to answer the Mog, he turned his focus back to the woman. He could see it, the instant relief she craved. But he could not bear to watch her suffer, he could not sit back and simply let her suffer. He listened to her, but instead of leaving like she expected him too he collapsed to the ground. Falling to her side and pulling her into his embrace. Arms wrapping around her frame to pull her in. Unsure as to why he didn't leave, normally he would have. Women had thrown themselves at him multiple times over his five years of service. Yet he always had ignored them, they could not understand him. His existence, his emptiness. They could not appeal to his soul the way this woman had, the way she called to him. "Shh... Don't be sorry." He spoke almost a whisper, his voice carrying worry in its archaic tone. His head leaned in to press against her head."I understand. So that's how and where I've seen you before, you're a former Turk." He looked down at her azure tresses, running a steady yet gentle finger through them. He used a thumb to wipe those tears away, his hands reached forward and clasped onto hers. Fingers entangling and intertwining. "We don't have to leave anymore if you don't want to. We could stay right here if that's what you wish." His gaze softened only to close and lean his head against hers. Emerald WEAPON looked them over, nodding in approval. Speaking in chimes and musical chords, which by now should become audible to the woman. "I'd like you to meet my companion, my best friend. Emerald." A hand motioned up to up the weapon in front of him. Content with their posture and embrace he remained here instead, he could care less if they went out into the world for a tour. She needed his attention, to be cared for.

"They called me a Princess of Deception.." She sniffled. "The Turks is where it all began for me.." This was a confession on Tallulah's part, having no real reason to hide from him anymore. This was the first time in years she had cried in front of someone, truly showed her weakness. The fragility she possessed down made her feel internally disgusted. Still as his arms wrapped around her, she could only coil into his masculine hold as if it were a secured escape. Protection. Sapphire's Catalyst nestled her head upon his shoulder as her hands tugged down the ends of her dress modestly before his hands caught her own once more. Giving his palms a soft squeeze a ginger sigh escaped her. "Please don't let me ruin your trip.." She murmured softly before sniffling, those trails of tears slowly ceasing their course as she calmed down. "If anything.. I could lend you my Inn room for the eve and take you all over Junon tomorrow as promised.." She was too weak to do much else, the episode far too taxing on her being. "So it is where i've seen you..." As Emerald's chimes and songbells sang it only forced a smile upon her features. "He's a charm." Her mousey voice was polite, nestling into his embrace further. Just like you.. The unedited thought forced her to bite her lip as a soft blush furthered the rosy color on her face. Goodness. "Is that what..Weapon..E stood for? Weapon Emerald?" Cain was the only one she could remember, and her memory and this reality finally seemed to merge. "Were you scared?" Finally taking the time to look upon the WEAPON with her mismatched hues she slid one of her hands from his just enough to greet with a wave.

The Princess of Deception, it had an elegant yet deadly ring to it. "Deadly." He remarked. "Tallulah. If anything... you made the trip exciting. You haven't ruined a thing." He smiled at her warmly, thumbs rubbing against the back of her hand idly. "Oh? Well... it sounds tempting. But I've only just met you." He jested with a chuckle. "Taking me to your private quarters already?" Silently he laughed. "I'm joking. I Accept." He said to her, eyes opened moving to focus on her when she asked her question. He wasn't scared, there was nothing to fear, no one to miss him should the experiment fail. He thought for a bit, carefully piecing together his words. "There was nothing to fear, no one to miss me if I passed. No one to mourn my death. If anything, I was born with nothing to my name. Fitting that I'd pass with nothing." His words were grim. "The morrow is barren of promises." A line from loveless, his favorite book. He moved his vision away from and closing them once more. He nodded once more moving his hand to her dress giving it a slight tug and allowing to fall over her legs. The same hand moved to his fine braid and tugged ever so gently pulling from betwixt the wall and allowing it to fall onto his chest and down the length of his leg. "I should warn you there are more of us, five more. Two left to find." Eventually, the man came to a stand. Making sure the woman was up on her feet as well. Emerald's orbs focused on her, once more the man smiled to her. "Lead the way fair maiden, and the knight will be sure to follow." He moved towards the door, looking down at the little mooglet. "Lest you want her to know, I suggest you go back to your chair."

His words were like honey in hot tea, warming to the soul as she simply drank it all in. A smile sprouted upon her features as she looked up at him quietly, meeting his gaze with her mismatched orbs. What he said next purged all thought from her innocent mind. T-take him to her private quarters?! Her face flushed a bright red, even to the tips of her ears. "Oh gosh." She stated with a squeak before sinking her head down to bury into the fabric of his clothing. Her toes curled inside her open wedges, his joke heavily embarrassing her. "I didn't...n..C.." Words eluded the young woman as she huffed a sigh, at least relieved he would take her up on her offer. It was the least she could do, offer him a place to stay in this town without charge. Tallulah was slowly returning back to her usual self minus the apparent vulnerability. "I didn't want you to not have a place to stay while in town.." Sapphire's Catalyst admitted this thoughtfully, turning her head slightly to the side so her voice was projected clearly. The grim words he spoke along with a tagline of a well-known piece of literature caught her attention. He already revealed to her his lack of family, and that the military life was all he had known. He was prematurely conditioned to be admitted unlike the small socialite he held so dear in his arms. The tug to her dress forced a small jump from her as digits skimmed barren flesh in the process, a sharp but near inaudible breathe taken in surprise. Tallulah seemed nearly entranced at the overwhelming feeling of content she had, though curiosity broke through when he mentioned others. "I knew there were more..but I didn't know how many..or if any survived..Wh-where are they?" Tallulah thought about this for a moment before guessing, "Midgar?" She was hesitant. What if Cain wanted to take her to them? Away from Junon? Biting her lower lip she took his hand and was brought up to stand once more. "Thank you." She chimed quietly. Catching wave of the man's note the mischievious moogle moved from his post at the doorway, having witnessed the entirety of what was going on between the two of them. A small noise was portrayed as if it made some sort of sarcastic commentary. It flittered toward the register and replaced itself just like Tallulah had left him, its head even nodding off to one side as if its posture had slowly drooped. Miss Gennings had looked over beside them to find the lofty iron rack neatly propped with all the items on it. "How..How did that get fixed?" She mentioned in a dumbfounded tone. Tallulah never realized when Cain pulled it off her that her back room wasn't a mess. "Nevermind." Shaking her head she chuckled and offered one of her small hands out to him just like in the marketplace. "Let me grab my Moogle Doll and we'll head on out. I think I left him in front." Her gaze turned from his as she guided him through the beaded doorway and flicked the lightswitch off on her way out. Her free hand swept up the lifeless doll before retrieving that brass skeleton key. Her work was done for the day. Guiding Cain out the door she locked shop behind them before stowing away her key in a small hidden pouch cinched at the waistline. She had to have a place to keep poisons during missions, after all. Holding the Moogle close to her chest she began walking west in a moderate pace, almost taking her time. "You never told me what brings you to Junon.." She stated with curiosity.

Her reaction was precious, adorable, and most notable cute. He reached over and placed a hand on the woman's cheek rubbing ever so slightly. She's innocent... Absolutely perfect... lovely lady. "Like a tyrannical windstorm, thine hath swept mine soul off its feet." He said to her, Cain was certainly a romantic man when he was interested in someone. "Mine heart burns with the cataclysmic fury of the falling star." His poetic words fell from his lips, yet even now he naught of what he said. "Thine beauty matches the radiance of the heavens themselves." It continued the Emerald Herald continued to pour his voice onto her. "Where is this even coming from?" He questioned. "I barely know you yet I feel like I've known you for an eternity." Soon they would stand and he would look upon her. "Yes, they wait for my return in two days." He nodded to her. "Your are welcome my dear." Failing to understand why this was, why such words poured from his lips.Emerald blinked and turned its gaze on him, musical chords and notes. "Adorable Cain." "Sure..." Cain responded openly to the weapon. His body trailed behind Tallulah making note of the doll. He had no plans of taking her to Midgar. There was nothing left for him there but to give his friends the okay. Meteor was going to crash land onto it soon. "Certainly." And when she gathered her friendly companion and the key he marched out the door and waited silently behind her. His eyes turned onto her and extended an arm out for to take hold of. When she inquired as to why he came here he was straight forward. "Honestly? I already got what I came for, now I'm just here at my own leisure." He looked down at her staring, emerald hues emulating a flash of light. A smile creased his lips, dimples forming betwixt the ends of his lips and cheeks. Somehow, the woman was able to draw more from his person than any of his teammates were able to. The constant prying resulted in only dead ends, silence or outright being ignored. Yet he willingly offered a glance at his entire life story. "Only known you for less then..." He looked up at the night sky. "Eight hours and you're already taking me home." He jested once more as he walked beside her. A slight snickering giggle held back behind his lips. Tallulah brought out a more humane side to Cain. Able to see into his depths, walls torn down allowing for the woman to enter into his domain. Would she so willingly enter?

His poetic nature didn't cease to make her heart flutter. He had a touch so familiar though her mind rationally reminded her he was just a stranger. No matter what he shared, what they said to one another... they hardly knew one another at all. This was the conflicting flaw she carried to hyperanalyze, and perhaps self contradict. Tallulah melted into his frame as he spoke sweet somethings. He was romantic to the point it left her truly speechless, that ever growing smile being the result. Men would pine for her, beg for a chance. At some point her parents tried to arrange her a marriage prior to her escape because they feared by personality alone no one would marry their socialite daughter. She was confined and constrained, unable to truly display the qualities that would define herself. But here she was, feeling wholesome for the first time in months in the unique presence of a heartwarming gentleman. "I am not sure," Tallulah shyly responded in that mousey voice. "But you're going to have more than just the company of a nervous mess if you continue." Playful words gested the matters of her own emotions, unable to deny he was stirring feelings within her she had not felt prior. An interest in men, sure, that was natural. But for her to take interest in someone meant she had to have gained a deep connection to them be it psychologically, mentally, or spiritual. Were she willing to be honest with herself, Cain had drew her in within all aspects. He was handsome, a charm, and a comfort to her. Who knew that a day in the market would turn into such events? A frown suddenly tugged at her features when he stated that he would only be in Junon for two days before the endearing term left her blushing once more. Stealing a glance at him Tallulah feared engaging in his verdant trance with no route of escape. Cain may have been limited on the aspects of life by perspective, but to her he had more than what he realized. Looping her arm around his she stood close by his side as they walked, tiny digits pressing into toned muscles almost fondly. "What did you come here for?" She asked dumbly but with sheer curiosity. Hearing he was here for leisure purposes simply encouraged her to make the best of his little visit. Her heterochromic hues kept forward while Cain looked upon her to guide them toward the Inn. She was considerably shorter than the Cetra, her azure tresses bouncing with every step as her clicks resounded their rhythm all to their own. In the light of the starry sky, her own orbs glowed like a startling predator searching its prey. Her luminous gaze was abnormal, and the Mako influx coursing through her system awakened parts of her that would make a good portion of the Turk society look like petty children at play with sharp knives in the middle of gunfights. "Shhh." She giggled and shook her head. Her face was already tinting red again as he joked about her taking him home. "I don't have any place to hide how red you're making me turn." Unable to contain a small laugh she took a few seconds during their stroll to examine their surroundings. It was unusually quiet. The night life should have began to pick up by now. At least the barhops, concubines, and occasional street thievery. The hairs on her exposed forearms stood up as goosebumps spread across her skin at such an inquiry. This was a note she kept to herself though her body subtly stepped closer to Cains, happy to not be caught alone. Her visage looked up to him quietly as she bit her lower lip habitually, the feeling of an open door being open notably something she was highly receptive to. Tallulah wasn't going to harm this gentleman, although she was an actively trained killer. That was a side of her put on the highest of shelves, the dusty ones, to be forgotten about. "Are you hungry?" It was a passing thought she wondered. The woman didn't carry much of an appetite these days, but would gladly cook for Cain once they got inside her quaint estate.

His frame walked close, his footfalls were in unison with her own. The pair appeared to be a set of graceful dancers walking through the moonlit evening. Cain's head remained pointed towards the road onward, though feeling her enamoring gaze position on his frame warranted him to look back. Incandescent emerald hues find her own to lock in a gaze. His eyes peel away not only to hide his reddening face but to catch the gaze of a few falling objects falling into the depths of the ocean. What was that? Emerald from had seen it as well. They all carried life force, Cain. Cain grimaced, fearing the worst. "I would like to believe that was the point of the joke." A silent chuckle, he said turning his head onward to the street. His face carried one of worry, though only briefly. Her grip on his masculine arm was to be expected, in fact, one might say it comforting. The woman was more than welcome to accompany him back to Midgar, welcome to join him in his journey back the grand capital. Not that it be there much longer either way. Tomorrow bright and Early Emerald we're going to investigate. Yet he could only focus on whatever it was. It would appear that whatever he felt impact the planet had been picked up by the lifestream network and disappear seconds later. Something inside him woke up, a calling, a summons from the planet itself. Wherever the rest of the WEAPONS are they could feel it too. The calling, the summons from mother Gaia. A threat had just fallen onto their lovely home, only to fade and hide into the darkness. Whoever could be out there, though he could feel more than just a dark presence. Threatening all life. He looked down to Sapphire who inquired about a meal and soon he'd feel the rage awakening from his stomach. A sudden loud growl erupting from the depths of his nearly bottomless pit. "Now that you mention it... I am hungry." He looked down at her and smiled subtly. "Cooking is the one thing I've never learned to do. Would ya teach me?" He inquired, Cain was the quick learner. An overachiever in many aspects. His perfect S ranks in SOLDIER would say so.

Though they were not near the beach, nor the ocean, she could hear disruptive waters clear as day. the breath of the sea felt as if it wisped past her carrying words unknown. Her body erupted into a shiver as that familiar hiss was conjured in the back of her mind. More free, warningly. Stirring. Sapphire's Catalyst was still growing into the fitting shoes laid before her. Still adapting, becoming accustomed to the new life weaved with her and her destiny. She could feel the Mako energy making her hyper, more alert..sensitive. There was a reason Junon was quiet. With a brief change of expression Tallulah met his gaze searchingly as if she had also felt this peculiar disturbance. Her lips even parted to ask before she bit the lower left corner and looked away. Though her episodic tension had permanently subsided, she was brought a new sensation words could not place. Indescribable. Eerie. Extraterrestrial. Her toes curled slightly into her shoes as they approached the Junon Inn, a two story building with a homely nature and a tavern right through the front doors. Kerosene wicks were enkindled with the gentle glow of flames atop wooden tables scattered about the establishment as the primary counter served as a check-in area and a bar with shelves of alcohol and a door to the kitchen that wenches bounced in and out of frequently expediting orders. Patrons and Matrons alike gathered to eat home-cooked meals of various creation. Soups and appetizers and entrees flooded the senses strong enough to make one's stomach growl. Yet, upstairs, were a few rooms reserved for the generous payers designed as a single bedroom with a functioning kitchenette and moderately sized bathroom. The living area seemed to be combined with the bedroom in a massive space. Her arm slid down Cain's arm casually only to take hold of his hand once more, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Here we are." She announced in a shy tone of voice before taking the lead. Pushing past the doors she kept her Moogle clutched to her chest as their entry brought watchful eyes. Her body instantly tensed as her gaze fell to the floor to avoid any attention. She knew the rumors they spoke. Most were fond, but untrue. How she was the heiress who turned down her rights at the Gennings enterprise. How her parents disowned her for not wanting to be like them. How she was rejected in an arranged marriage for an unwillingness to conform. There were even rumors of her being a lethal weapon. A spy. The numerous spouts went on and on. Soft whispers could even be heard being exchanged about the room before conversation slowly started to continue its flow about the quiet restaurant. Tallulah bit harder on her lip and remained silent as she weaved her way through the obstacles with Cain in tow. Clicks of her heels resounded against the flooring as her body swayed to the beat of a nearby bard plucking melodic chords from his lute. Lower Junon seemed to be less industrialized in comparison to the upper plate which was something she secretly enjoyed. It felt more honest, more natural than the synthesized constructs of the revolutionary growth of the world. Thanks Shinra. Tallulah made note to answer his question once they were away from public eyes. So far it has been the two of them all evening when she was used to it just being her. She had grown so used to being alone. She had become accustomed to just worrying about herself, doing what she desired and it never occurred to her just how lonely that had been until today. Light footfalls hit step by step as the young woman ascended the flight of stairs, the watchful eyes disappearing. A heavy exhale escaped her once the two were alone again, finding herself catching held breath. "I should really fix that attic.." She chimed in a voice barely above a whisper, referring back to her shop. It was apparent that her living here in the Inn was temporary after her release from the program. "I'm not sure I would be an adequate teacher, Cain. I'm no one's chef, but I survive." It was an honest answer presented in a higher alto pitch as she gave his palm another soft squeeze. Her eyes stayed toward the ground as she treaded down the long hallway to the final room on the end, number Eight. Looking back to Cain she offered him a smile before placing her hand into that small pocket and withdrawing a smaller nickel colored key, unlocking the Inn room and parting open the doors. "Its not much but it sustains." Her Inn room seemed to have her own touch to it, adorned with temporary renovations such as an updated bed set with throw pillows and window treatments to match. A slightly cracked window peered right out onto the ocean as the breeze slipped through the opening. The Kitchenette seemed to have a solid stovetop over the classic gas, and an oven below with glass cabinetry above holding tinted glass and plates. A small table lingered in one of the corners with chairs for two, a tinted vase carrying lillies and hibiscus that seemed fresh light colored linens and was neat much like the rest of her estate. It looked practically untouched. "Fresh linens in the bathroom if you wish to take a shower. Just make yourself at home." A shower sounded pleasant to her right now, as well as more comfortable clothing. Tallulah released her hand from his to part and place her beloved Moogle on a plush area below a vintage nightstand. It looked oddly fitting for the doll. She was strange for treating the plush like some sort of pet, some sort of...entity when it wasn't living. Or was it? "Do you have anything youre craving right now, food wise? I have some things here, but we may have to order from downstairs." Tallulah was thinking ahead, wanting to bring the gentleman utmost comfort during his stay in town. Her mind kept retreating toward the outside. The ocean. The low threatened hiss echoed in the cortex of her skull once more, drawing her gaze toward that opened window.

The Emerald Herald knew she knew, it was a summons to all of her WEAPONS. He looked to the in as they arrived, listening to the banter as everyone fell silent. All eyes on them, prying orbs focused on the woman and how she held this man's hand. Ears sensitive enough to pick up the sounds of rats scurrying in the walls listened to those rumors. His teeth began grinding against each other, rage bellowing inside his persona. Almost tempted to beat the snot of the patrons, his eyes trail the room. He naught if they were truths or fallacies. The woman began to tug him through only his motions were suggested they stopped. "Doth ye buffoonish individuals hath anything to say directly at lady Tallulah?" His voice boomed through the tavern. "Thou may ascend to before the fair Lady." He pulled his hand away and stepped forward arms stretched out fingers extended. "Rush me cowards and receive mine hands." Cain looked about the room that was obviously enamored by his presence and now silent as well. "DOTH YE FOOLS WANT TO RECIEVE THE FLURRY OF BLOWS UPON THINE FACE?!" Surely he created a scene but no one stepped forward, the patrons were silent. "Look upon me cowards and bask in the fucks I fail to produce." Jaw dropping even, no one said a word, no whispering, no lies or truths. Not a single word had been said. "If mine sensitive ears even hear a single comment slandering Lady Tallulah's good name. Thou shalt receive a deadly torrent of fist and wish thine had spoken of her in good faith." He glared, eyes grazing the entire room. His aura menacing and powerful as it manifested itself. He grabbed Tallulah's hand and spun her to show off her grace and beauty. "Look upon the fair maiden and see what mine hands shall be touching. Cowards ye' hath received mine warning. Beware it, heed it, thou shalt not squander it. Shalt ye naught receive another." He led her from the scene he created without care. Leading her up those stairs and allowing her to take the lead once more. "I apologize If I embarrassed you, but I could hear every word their filthy mouths have spat and could not stand to hear another." As they drew closer to her room he looked at her and smiled, for some reason he really adored her. Odd as it seemed, he enjoyed her presence. Once in her room he looked around, it was subtle yet he could see those little touches she made to make a home. "If you wish. I could help you find another home, I have the gil and skills to help you craft one." He said as he observed her home. "Hmm... Surprise me." He responded to her question about his choice in food. Cain wasn't really a picky man, he was grateful that he'd be receiving a delicious meal.

That...that inexplicable occurrence downstairs. It was charming, and all the same made her feel so small. His booming voice even had her hiding behind him for the sake of her own defense, or perhaps protection. Cain was intimidating with his archaic ways, but it was a quality she adored. Her seclusion from the scene was only short lived as the Cetra drew out her limber figurine to spin her about like a ballerina on stage, those azure tresses following the flow of her movement like the subtly pleated ends of her mint green dress. Her lower lip had been bit so hard it left an imprint and coaxed blood to its surface while her face was flushed with crimson discoloration. Tallulah had been left speechless until they escaped upstairs. "You didn't..h-have to do that.." She mentioned quietly. Yet she played along to his whims and took his hands. Had she been any braver she would have leaped off the side of a cliff with him. As her form recomposed itself she simply shook her head."The patrons know of the woman I used to be. They know of my social status, my upbringing... what they don't know is what i've been through. I do not hold it against them, their ignorance, for it is better that way. One can't make everyone happy, but they can for those who matter.." Offering Cain a shy smile she glanced back out her open window before he mentioned about helping her find a new choice estate. She had inheritance, a trust fund even. The gil was not of concern..she just preferred not to spend it. "That's sweet of you." A warmth was painted into those words as her hands were brought to clasp over her heart, turning her back to him as she approached the open gate toward the sea. "I suppose it is her... that draws me to the Ocean. All I have known is Junon, but I wanted more. A different place, a different culture...perhaps even right by the water. I want to brave the storms, the tides, the breezes. Breathe in the salty air and cultivate the sand for its hidden treasures." Fondness crept through her voice as she distantly could feel the soft earth sliding between the wedges of her toes. "Have you ever been ocean front?" Tallulah had not, in all her years. She heard stories, had dreams. With an upbringing one would assume she had been all over the world for studying abroad or leisurely expeditions. But alas, she was a fair maiden kept in the confines of her home like a trophy prize awaiting to be won. That wasn't the life she wanted, and Tallulah fought to make things different. Dawning on her that she started to babble the woman chuckled and shook her head. "My apologies. I sometimes get carried away." Turning about she sauntered toward her tiny kitchen to look inside the cupboard for food. With luck she found severeal assorted vegetables, and bread. Looking inside the fridge beside it she lucked to have beef tucked away. Perhaps a stir fry would suffice? "I'll get to work then. But please, make yourself at home." Glancing back at Cain her smile grew brighter before idle hands rose to take two long strands of her azure locks and tie the rest of her thick strands back into a ponytail. She even replicated a bow with her own hair. All that was left was that fringe of hair hiding her golden eye. Dragging out a cutting board and an iron pan she placed it atop one of the eyes on the stove, using a dab of oil to help warm the surface while beginning her preparations. There was deep red wine, blackberry, stowed away in the cupboard, but that was all she found for beverage other than cold water from the tap. They would have to make due unless Cain sought for something else to satiate his tastes. "Thank you...by the way..." She chimed softly rather he heard her or not. Tallulah was slowly getting absorbed into her culinary premise. "For back at my shop.."

Oh but he did, it was his pride and mannerisms that made him do it. The fire that burned within him, their insults were simply too much for the Cetra to take and so he reacted appropriately. His gaze fell upon her once more. "There actions were uncalled for, respect is a life lesson. You hath done nothing to them." He said nothing more on the matter, the weapon lifted his head and simply turned his head towards the open gate. "I have, more than once." He nodded to her. "Perhaps, you'll see it. One day. I might even take you there myself." He said with a nod. "... I'll show you the world." He said with a smile, fingers drift into the depths of his pockets. "Do not apologize. There is one place I have not been to yet." He said to her, looking onward towards the sea. "The Forgotten Capital." He moved over to the window and stared out into the star-lit sky. "I've been there in my dreams... I know it exists. Though the image of this woman has been burned into my mind. I feel close to her. A bond that I can only explain as Family." Cain was speaking of his mother again, the light of his life. The woman who died before she knew her DNA would give birth to this CETRA. But at the time she was just a child, and Cain was already in development. A fail safe. A backup plan. But soon Cain would find the lies. If Cain were to lead Shinra into the Promised Land, the world would die he would not allow this to come to fruition. Cain frowned, sadness washing over his frame. Emerald had faded into the depths of his soul, his heart pounded. He sighed silently and simply pulled away from the window. Hearing the sound of the oil sizzling on the pan he drifted into the bathroom and began peeling his clothing away revealing the second skin beneath. It was armor, black in hue and it hugged his defined muscles beneath. It offered him a numerous amount of perks. The door was closed as he began peeling the black suit away. Despite looking thin it was quite heavy, he placed the armor onto the floor gently making sure not alarm anyone. The shower was activated and he took a moment to adjust the temperature. Once the desired temp was reached he undid his braid hopped right on in. Cain wasn't like most men who'd get it and get out. He was thorough and made sure everything was clean. His hair now wet and sopping he used the available shampoo to cleanse it of any impurities before he conditioned it. Though he wouldn't wash the conditioner out all the way, he left half in for his hair to absorb the nutrients from. The shower ceased he reached for a towel which the inn surely provided. He stepped out and reached for the armor, deciding against it. He left it for now, from within the confines of his jacket he pulled a set of finely rolled up clothing. He rolled an entire outfit together tightly, casual nothing over the top, just sleepwear. Grey pants and a white undershirt. He folded his clothing and replaced the towel on the rack. Gathered the armor which oddly he folded up, the material was malleable. Once he was out he makes his way into the main room where the beds were and set his clothing onto the bed. He took a gentle sniff of the air and said nothing. The frown still apparent on his face. Thinking about her always made him this way, he couldn't place it. His hair left down, bangs tucked behind his ears. "Your cooking smells delicious he commented." Wine would be an odd experience for him, he had never really any alcoholic beverage at all. However, given his nature, he would be willing to try something new.

"It's always been so close, but so out of reach. I've never had time to venture out between my youth and my former line of work. Despite the effects of the project, this has been the most free i've truly felt." A glow beyond her eyes were shared with those delicate features, pearly whites revealed in full spread as she smiled with sheer joy. As Cains poke of the Forgotten Capital her mind went ablurr, having faintly heard its name in stories. Tallulah decided it was best to listen as the gentleman's mind seemed to recede into fond memories and wonder. A small glance spied that frown before she looked away to continue cutting up vegetables and dicing them. Silence dispersed into the atmosphere leaving the young woman to fall into her own entrancement. Primarily she focused on cooking, throwing a mix of onions, green peppers, a small portion of fresh garlic, broccoli, carrots and even minced fresh ginger. The pan sizzled as an instant collected aroma flooded the apartment. The beef was thrown into a separate pan to brown with light oil, a slight dab of butter, salt, and pepper. Soon the food was collected together and mixed, adding red pepper flakes and soy sauce to the mix as well as a slight spritz of brown sugar to break up any remaining acidity so it wasn't too overpowering to the pallet. Cain had made use of the shower, leaving her to idly hum a tune without realizing it. By the tempo and melodic rhythm, it was a ballad harmonized in her soprano voice. "Ladada, ladada da da..." She chimed as she left the food on the eye to set the table. Two emerald tinted plates and wine glasses, slightly opaque. Tallulah located a corkscrew and popped open the stored bottle of aged blackberry wine before setting it on the table. Two tall azure glasses, contrasting the earthy scheme, were filled with ice water in case the spirits were too condescending to the pallet for the food. Tallulah brought the iron wok over to the table as a 'help yourself' suggestion. She was missing a filling substance, such as noodles or rice, but hopefully the warmed slices of bread in a smaller basket would suffice. The set dining area looked ornate and clean despite the small table being crowded with dinner for two versus one. Usually Tallulah just went without aside from a bite of this and that on occasion. She never carried much of an appetite. With the flip of a switch she activated the vent to pull out the steam as Emerald's Catalyst emerged from his shower. Her idle humming continued until she responded to his compliment. "One can only hope so. It is ready after all." Somewhere between all of her cooking those wedged heels had been removed and kicked away into a lonely corner for later retrieval, leaving the short female to stand at her actual height. "If its bad, there's always downstairs." Tallulah was sure it wasn't dreadful. Her culinary skills were almost natural thanks to the hours she spent cooking in her kitchen back home. Love, and care was taken into the process as 'secret ingredients' that always somehow made self-cooked meals better. Leaving her hair tied back Sapphire's Catalyst simply leaned her back against the cupboard with one foot crossed over the other, her hands clasped before her. "Have a nice shower?" She inquired thoughtfully, noticing his change into quite comfortable attire. The length of his hair amazed her, reminding her of a lion's luxurious mane.
The moogle beneath Tallulah's nightstand had found its way onto its belly, the red bulb atop its antenna bouncing about subtly as a low coo could be heard. The sound was only opened up to be heard by Cain as it decided to refrain contact with its owner for now. It knew that one day it would have to reveal itself as her protector, but not now. The Moogle will simply continue to fuck with this person of interest in its own little way. It stretched its white wings before sighing. The WEAPON had her eyes adrift toward the window beyond Cain at first, then the door. The thought of living elsewhere sounded pleasant. She hated the structure of the wooden door and its skimpy double locks.

The WEAPON was oddly silent, moving to his jacket pulling a picture from its depths. It was framed in steel, he sauntered over to the table and looked Tallulah right in the eyes. The woman in the picture carried his facial features, hairline, eyes, lips, cheeks. But Cain was a clown of the former. The way he saw it, if she was a turk, she'd have to know something. Having access to files he could not gain access to as a second class SOLDIER. He placed the framed image on the table. "You were a turk?" He asked her, his figure pulled a chair back and motioned for Tallulah to sit in it. "Please, tell me the name of the woman in that picture." He'd move to the opposite end and sat down. "That's the same woman who appears in my dreams." Grabbing his plate he smiled, taking a huge whiff of the air only to look towards the moogle who released that amusing noise. "Dork." His voice boomed across the mental plane towards the Moogle. Eyes moved to focus on the food before him, he took a couple scoops from the wok and set his plate with the stir fry. A warm piece of slice of bread which he filled with a slice of beef and a few vegetables. When she'd answer, He'd respond. "Aeris? Oh... so that's her name." He'd take a sip from the wine, and Cain would fall silent lost in thought. Slowly he ate, he wasn't shoveling it down, rather he savored every bite. Enjoying the flavors. "The food is amazing by the way." His eyes closing soon he began to hum a hymn from his childhood. Something he learned from the professor taught him. Soon words began to fall from his lips. "Why do we cling together, why do we give punishment to lesser hearts, the Planet did not forgive us.~" Cain hummed through the hymn as he ate, replacing harmonious notes with words when he was not chewing. Though the decibels were almost a whisper. "The throbbing pulse flows through the earth. A tiny, tiny pulse. A heart drawn to death. A gentle life returns to the Stars. Must souls be sacrificed?" Cain often hummed this hymn when he ate, whatever the reason was beyond him. He couldn't help it. When he finished the meal he fell silent even though he didn't finish the hymn. The hymn was a song of prayer, unknown to the meaning or the significance it held. Forgetting about the past once more. "When I finish with my duties in Midgar, I'll come back and take you on a trip. I hope you don't mind company. My friends might be coming to join us. It's a trip for business." He said with a sense of fondness that came from the heart. "We're going to the eastern continent. From there.. it's wherever adventure takes us... Unless you aren't up for it." Cain said as he stood up picking up his now clean plate and sauntered over to the kitchenette and washed his plate off with a bit of soap and hot water. Once he was finished the plate was set into the dish rack. The Cetra drifted from the kitchen and to the woman, his arms wrapped around her from behind. "Thank you for the lovely meal. It was delicious." Cain held only for a second more and pulled away. "I'll probably be heading to bed..." Tomorrow bright and early like he said, he was going to investigate.

Cain's approach, the way his steps were slow and fluid and the picture encased in a sentimental frame... it threw the fragile woman off what guard she had. Was this tome sort of test? As he revealed the woman in the picture she instantly noticed the resemblance and realized she had been right - he did have his mother's eyes. Biting her lip she studied the beautiful Cetra in the pictue as he asked about her being a Turk. Of course she was. Sliding from the cupboard she eased in to the seat he pulled for her, one leg idly crossing over the other. "I think she was with a party that disrupted Shinra a while back. Our director had us keep an eye on them, especially her. Her name is Aeris." As Cain announced she was the woman that appeared in his dreams, it wasn't hard for he to decipher that what he was experiencing a message. This left her to ponder just what kind. A subtle crease in her brow gave way to her concentrated thought as Emerald's Catalyst responded to her rambunctious Moogle. It's wings flapped while its antenna became erect and alert, startled by his archaic voice as it were in mid dose. The indescribable response he received was also in an archaic language as it rolled over and snuggled under one of it's blankets, the small resemblance of a paranoid 'hmph' spiting the man who took interest in his owner.Tallulah had picked up on a strange sensation, looking toward her bed and at the cracked window. "Did you hear that?" She asked randomly. The Moogle, attuned to its beholder, stiffened. Had it projected the response openly? As Cain fixed his plate she peered down at her plush to notice it had been covered up. Had her newfound friend done so? Pursing her lips she slightly deadpanned in expression while placing puzzle pieces together. Shaking her head dismissively the young woman offered Cain a soft smile before fixing a plate of her own, latching her teeth onto the browned crust of a slice of bread. So warm. Tallulah wasn't much of a talker as she ate, though she did nod to reconfirm her name was Aeris, the woman of his dreams, as well as utter a slightly slurred "Thankyou~."
Her plate was far smaller than his own, not having much of an appetite. After being starved, one would assume she would feel insatiable, but she felt the opposite. Eating was almost a chore to her now. Sinking her fork into her plate she collected contents and took savoring bites, chewing slowly. Her bites grew minimalistic, not wanting to interrupt the spontaneous concerto of his voice as he ate. She was rather fond of the sound. <i>"When I finish with my duties in Midgar, I'll come back and take you on a trip. I hope you don't mind company. My friends might be coming to join us. It's a trip for business."</i> Cain broke her of her idle trance as she looked up to peer at him with her single cerulean hue. "Company is welcome," she responded, "Especially if they're as delightful as you." The impulsive statement forced the woman to move from her seat in an abrupt spazz after realizing what she had said. HEr knees hit the underside of the table causing a small commotion before she eased herself back down quietly, her averted gaze a sign saying she denied what she had just done. "I-I mean...Its not like Junon has anything left for me here.." Tallulah bit at her lip again, his close presence delivering an unexpected embrace. The stinging warmth of his hold felt everlasting against her feminine frame as his energy left a tingling signature. "mmn. Beds all yours." Night owls don't really sleep, do they? When he had pulled away she finally stood up to dispose of her plate's eaten contents, clean the dish, and stow away the leftovers. "Mi casa es su casa, they say. " She often slept on the couch anyhow, that feaux fur throw being her source of warmth and comfort for many nights. Sapphire's Catalyst observed Cain for only a moment before grabbing a few contents from a nearby chiffarobe, and sauntered into the bathroom to shower up for herself.

The Emerald Herald looked upon her, offering her a nod. This information would be useful to him, though her inquiry to the Moogle almost went unanswered. "Probably just the wind?" He said turning his vision onto the Moogle from the table, his voice boomed across the mental plane. <i>"You should just tell her. Instead of hiding it. Shouldn't have covered yourself up, she suspects something is up."</i> If it was indeed a message, and he was beginning to understand. In his heart knew, he knew the answer: The Forgotten Capital. Going there would solve everything, maybe his mother was waiting for him? Yet somehow deep down, Cain knew that she was already gone. What was waiting for him? Why was he feeling this strange sensation to go there? Maybe in time, but for now he had to focus on the main problem: The Three Objects. As far he could tell, they all carried their own life forces. From what he could tell they all were strong, but the second stronger than the first and the last carrying a vast amount of power. Far greater than the last. "Your welcome." He responded as he walked towards the kitchen to clean and wash his plate. "You'll enjoy their company, they are quite the lovely... Er.. A unique group of people." He lofted a brow taking the time to think about his explanation. "Nevermind what I said. You'll just have to meet them for yourselves. I would have left by now." He looked down at her, unable to respond to her comment. He turned his face away hair following in motion to hide the fact that his cheeks were reading. Though her spastic nature did make him chuckle, he turned to look the woman. "Are you okay?" He'd ask through his snickering, hand over his lips to hide his amused smile. "Thank you. Sleep well when you get there." Though she offered him the bed he chose to lay on the floor. Odd as it seemed, and as uncomfortable as it seemed the Cetra was a former SOLDIER. Old habits die hard, sleeping on the hard floor provided an alertness to him. He'd be able to detect vibrations in the ground this way, during his missions, he'd often had to sleep on the hard surface. This gave him complete awareness, the occupants of the inn, Tallulah, her Moogle and anyone else for that matter. It would take a lot for someone to break him from this habit. He curled his arm and placed it on the floor, he tucked his head into the crevice it created. Now as comfortable as he was going to get, he began to doze. Drifting into a light slumber, Cain's breathing was steady. His ears picked up all the commotion, the sounds of the patrons and matrons alike. The people hadn't said a word about Tallulah since he had threatened them with a furious flurry from his fist. This brought him satisfaction.

The Moogle listened to the archaic Cetra and only gave silence as a response in the beginning. This sentimental plush had no special gift other than flight, but how it wished it could have smited him with a strike of lightning for proposing something so proposterous. Instead what Cain received as a baritone voice from the tiny plush instead of its peculiar giggles and cackles. The more Cain talked to it, the more he picked up on the livelihood of one's voice. Equally in it's thunder did the Moogle respond with a deep tone, "There is no danger, yet." Every word was articulate, foretelling as it's frame lifelessly laid in its bed. Cain could hear a dismissive cough before uttering a soft 'Kupo?' The little shit wanted to display ignorance. Perhaps the animation within such a sentimental ornament had more to meet the eye."Just peachy." she commented about her abrupt movements, indulging in his embrace before he pulled away.
As Cain moved to lay on the floor she had progressed into the shower, taking a step onto the humid tiles that haven't fully dried. The light colored walls still dropped with traces of cold droplets ready to run toward the drain as she activated the faucet. An unexpected shot of cold streams sent Tallulah into a spazz, jumping reactively at the instant contact on her barren frame. She was feminine, dainty, and by appearance hardly looked damaged. She had a bullet wound from a gunner below her left shoulderblade by her spine. That story was from a 'romantic' dinner gone wrong and nearly having the apex of her heart torn from behind. A small scar on her abdomen was signs of a surgical incision from a childhood appendectomy. Her right upper thigh, just below the crest of her hip-bone had a peculiar brand that was healed over time. It was an archaic symbol for Water. Sapphire's Catalyst was brought to a sea-water gang who praised the bountiful sea. This was an occurence as part of her time in the Turks, and because of her tact and foolery they forcefully tarnished her flesh with the subtle marking as if they knew she belonged there. Be it a curse or a terrifying gesture, it was a reminder that kept the former assassin straight. Her long tresses went from a cerulean to dark navy under the cascading water as her usual hygenic routine begin, her mind drifting into deep thought under the fall of hot water.
When she was finished, her dress was hung on the back of the door to prevent wrinkling as she slid on her undergarments and pajamas. Even then she wore a doll-like dress that had thin straps on the shoulders and was constructed with silk and lace around the ends and that also tethered together an otherwise exposed back. Damp strands were dried enough to where they wouldn't drip only for it to be pulled up into a curly bun. Though, the falls of her tresses made it resemble a formal updo. Her fair skin reflected the moon's soft glow that pierced through unblinded windows, the sea's breeze filling her Inn room with salty air. Crossing her arms under her bust she tiptoed gingerly around toward the open window on the other side of her bed. This meant weaving past Cain who decided to sleep on the floor. Suit himself.
Though she often denied it, Tallulah could hear the distant ocean waves, and other longer ranged noises unlike before. She blamed the WEAPON project for such an unusual change. Moving softly the young woman placed herself upon the windowsill. It wasn't very grand or really meant for sitting, but her small frame managed. Clutching a lonely throw pillow to her chest she settled in to look out the window at the night sky, drifting into idle thoughts. This was part of her routine, to ponder the beyond. Reminding thoughts teased her alert mind of the disruption her and Cain had felt earlier. What could that have been? Shaking her head she presented a smile. Sleep was impending, but at least under the moon's pale light she wouldn't have to fear total darkness this eve.

The Moogle was left unanswered and he finds himself slipping off into his deep slumber, entering his dreams once more he found himself waking once more in a land of snow. A party, all shadowy figures, unusual as might have seemed. It was a message like before, this time the figures were marching through the snow towards an unknown location. From what he could tell they were headed southwest. He followed, trailing behind them floating through the dreamscape. Their voices were whispers, callings from the deep, cryptic messages from beyond. They called to him, urging him to follow as if they were trying to show him the way. Where were they going? Where were they leading him? Soon through the snow storm, a village came into display, a forest behind it, bones of creatures from ages past towered into the sky. Though by the time Tallulah had exited her shower he'd been to far gone to notice, his breathing wasn't loud. Though it wasn't exactly a whisper, a light rumble from his lips. Cain followed the beings into the Village marching through the tents and huts alike into a forest. The Forest seemed shrouded in a deep mist, though it appeared to be protected by a force that seemed beyond Cain's knowledge. The Shadowy beings guide Cain through the infinite shroud. Once they exited the veil of mist the presence of the beings faded entirely, disappearing leaving behind a single message: "Find 'her' Materia, find the Holy Materia." Cain awoke immediately, he sat up looking around making note of how Tallulah fell asleep in the window. He stood up sauntering over to his clothing, he pulled on a chain that was attached to his pants. Attached to the end of this chain was a watch, it carried one design on the cover, a floral design. He rubbed the back of his head as he clicked on the circle from the top releasing the locking mechanism. The face of the clock within illuminated, he read the time: Five in the morning. He looked to Tallulah, smiling he grabbed his clothing and sauntered into the bathroom to dress. First the armored suit, then the rest of his clothing. He brushed his hair through with his fingers making sure to remove any knots and rebraided it. His bangs left to hang over his face, he pulled the mask from his jacket and replaced it onto his face. He pulled the knuckle studded leather gloves from his pocket and pulled them over his hands. The Cetra stepped out from the bathroom and looked to Tallulah once more. Making sure she was sleep and would stay that way. He sauntered over to her, staring long and hard before finally scooping the woman up and setting her on the bed behind them in one deft motion. He was careful and delicate while handling her. The bells on his jacket jiggled ever so lightly due to his carelessness as he leaped out the window. Performing a supernatural feat mid-flight, the Cetra's image dispersed becoming only but a myriad of twinkling lights as he traveled towards his destination.
