You have to read this.
This may seem like I’m picking on her but look at how many people are lying about it!
There was something in Alexandria Useful-Idiot’s bio that kept nagging at me.
Several widely published stories about her, kept touting that she won a very big science award at a very prestigious science fair giving us evidence of her intellectual prowess. And she keeps saying this too! But when I listened to her speak, it wasn’t adding up. And every article says how brilliant she is. Yeah.
So I did some research.
Well, she lied. And even more disturbing, are those who are also willing to lie about her as well. Get a load of this.
From her Bio:
“Ocasio-Cortez attended Yorktown High School, graduating in 2007. She won second prize in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with a microbiology research project on the effect of antioxidants on the lifespan of the nematode C. elegant. In a show of appreciation for her efforts, the International Astronomical Union named a small asteroid after her: 23238 Ocasio-Cortez.â€
First of all, I thought it was strange that the International Astronomical Union came TO HER to “appreciate her†and name an asteroid after HER? What? A 17 year old? I wanted to know why. And then I started digging into her “award†too.
There was an article that kept getting quoted by everyone that is writing about her. It was from her science teacher at her affluent high school.
This is what the articles say:
“Although she hails from the Bronx, Ocasio-Cortez commuted to Yorktown where she partook in the high school's science research program, which exists for students with special interest in completing scientific research. The program is run by Michael Blueglass, who taught Ocasio-Cortez and maintains a close relationship with her to this day; the two even enjoyed breakfast together recently, he said in a telephone interview. She was one of the best presenters we have had in the program," Blueglass said. "She is still the same great person today." "Sandy," as her former teacher calls Ocasio-Cortez, has always had a strong desire in her to help other people. "She was fantastic. Extremely gifted," Blueglass said.â€
Gifted? The best the program has ever had????? They are still close and meet for breakfast?
And then I kept looking at the award itself. 2nd place INTERNATIONALLY at the INTEL ISEF Science Fair? Winner of WHAT internationally?? Title? Cash award? No details?
Turns out there are several regional programs that feed into the “big kahuna†program- INTEL ISEF that it’s referring to. Turns out her teacher is actually the President of the REGIONAL contest. That’s convenient. At the time, in 2007- it had maybe 140 kids at the most -competing in this small NY only region of close high schools where her teacher happens to be the President- WESEF. They could get it judged locally and send a good number of the best ones- up to 12 per school- to INTEL. Really small and easy to win if ya know guy. (;. .
Once they got to INTEL they got a medal for going that said finalist-A participation medal at that point. The pics online are of that regional contest. Then on the website for the Weschester Regional Contest- it reports that Alexandria won “2nd globallyâ€. Really vague. And it was inputted on the site in August last year- not years ago when she went to high school but right after she won her seat in Congress last July. Also- the details were precise in allocating where her other small awards came from but vague in saying she won “globallyâ€.
So I looked.
I looked at all the winners and prize recipients at the big INTEL ISEF that she claims she won this at. Nothing. She was only a representative- never stood out or win anything. Her regional website even says that she was a “representative†at INTEL- and says nothing about actually winning.
Her science project was feeding antioxidants to a roundworm and watching it for up to 45 days to see if it fared well.
Not exactly the science discovery of a young genius. Especially when the winners of this worldwide contest are child prodigy’s designing nuclear fission and getting the equivalent of a Nobel Peace Prize. She has a picture in another outfit showing the retired CEO of INTEL her posters of her worms and of her information but why would he pay attention to her- a participant? Was it a photo op?
What got me was when so many articles kept regurgitating this: ( again from her teacher)
“She was able to take complex topics and explain them to audiences of all levels," Blueglass said of her work in the science research program. Ocasio-Cortez has maintained that clarity, as shown in her ability to showcase all she intends on doing for the people of the 14th Congressional District.â€
She was able to take complex issues and explain them to the people? Are we being set up to listen to this Socialist sell us on “democratic socialism You know. Cause it’s so “complex I guess this Communist turd should able to be to “‘splain to the little people so it sounds real good??
And THEN the article continued with the PRESIDENT of the Society of Science, Maya Ajmera, lying about her prize also!
“Alumni of the International Science and Engineering Fair… have gone on to create major companies, win the Nobel Prize, and now Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become the youngest member of Congress,†said Maya Ajmera, president and CEO of the Society for Science & the Public, and publisher of Science News. We expect that the lessons she learned during ISEF—the importance of evidence-based science, clear communication and team work—will translate well in her work on Capitol Hill.â€
All of that because she fed something to a worm? “Alumni of the INTEL go on to win Nobel Peace Prizes??? Boy is she selling it or what?
I mean, here is an example of what one high schooler had to do just to get one of the third prizes just to give you an idea about how hard this prize is to win-
First Award of $3,000-
MCRO006 — Green Watts: Investigating Power Generation of Spartina patens Compared to Chlorophytum comosum by Utilizing a Mixed Shewanella oneidensis MR-1 Community in a Plant Microbial Fuel Cell (A Novel Fourth Year Study). Or this :MCRO033 — Novel Use of Phenolic Compounds for Epstein-Barr Virus Lytic Induction
Hmm. Alexandria fed a roundworm and watched it. Not exactly Nobel Peace Prize stuff that the Society of Science President claimed.
And what if Alexandria kept the lie going too and then added to it?

@AOC
It’s true!
Science was my first passion. Asteroid named by @MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory in honor of longevity experiments I conducted out of Mt. Sinai.
My research won 2nd place globally in Microbiology at @intel ISEF. At BU I started as science major, changed to Econ 邏#nerdalert
—————-
Wait a minute.
She actually says that she WON 2nd GLOBALLY at INTEL ISEF. But there is no record if it. No winner announcement about it. It lists everyone else in 2007, just not her. Anywhere. Nowhere. Only winning regional and not exactly getting more than a participation medal for going.
And what’s this about getting an asteroid because they wanted to HONOR her she says?
Well, it WASN’T because she worked on some “longevity study at Mt. Sinai when she was 16. For the record only four high schools in NY get to participate in a program at Mt. Sinai and her school wasn’t one of them. They didn’t “honor†her - they claim she automatically got it because she WON. Whoops. They are lying too!
Since 2001, they gave all the winners of the prizes at INTEL an AUTOMATIC naming of an asteroid. But here is where it also gets strange.
From her own bio article:
“ When she submitted her high-school microbiology project in 2007 and won second place at Intel's science and engineering fair, she automatically won the naming rights to an asteroid found by LINEAR.
From there, Evans worked with the IAU to propose the name "23238 Ocasio-Cortez" and ask its 13-member judging panel to approve the title. The name passed in August 2007, affixing Ocasio-Cortez's name to a space rock.â€
So Cortez submitted her win and then the committee APPROVED it? How did she submit it when she didn’t win anything? And normally they take years to consult about it but approved it 2 months after she supposedly won something she didn’t win- so they expedited it???
And here is what the IAU said in describing why she had this asteroid named after her-
“Jenifer Evans, an electrical engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, was one of the lead scientists on LINEAR along with her boss Grant Stokes - so they had the naming rights to all the asteroids the program found. LINEAR, built in 1996, uses ground-based telescopes at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico to scan for asteroids and comets - especially any that may pose a threat to our planet. It was one of the first high-power surveys of the night sky, so it discovered more than 140,000 asteroids.
Evans and Stokes decided to keep things "honorable" by handing out asteroid names to the winners of top science and engineering fairs for students.
"We didn't want to make it willy-nilly. We wanted to keep it exclusive," Evans told Business Insider...Usually science people aren't in the newspaper," Evans said. "This is a way to encourage an interest in science because local newspapers will write up, 'Tommy Smith had an asteroid after him.' It's almost as cool as, 'Tommy Smith made three touchdowns at the football game.'"
When she submitted her high-school microbiology project in 2007 and won second place at Intel's science and engineering fair, she automatically won the naming rights to an asteroid found by LINEAR.
From there, Evans worked with the IAU to propose the name "23238 Ocasio-Cortez" and ask its 13-member judging panel to approve the title. The name passed in August 2007, affixing Ocasio-Cortez's name to a space rock.â€
A lot of people are lying to keep this strange bit of her bio some sort of “factâ€. Why? Not just Alexandria but look at her teacher, also the President of Society of Science and also the head of IAU at Harvard/MIT.
Alexandria also lies about her “working class Bronx rootsâ€- her dad Sergio Ocasio-ROMAN was an architect whose company started 33 years ago before she was born and reported it made 1/2 million with 5 employees.
Her brother claimed their parents went without eating to feed the two of them so they could have a cracker box house in the right zip code ( she keeps saying zip code is everything in America). But even a 1-2 bedroom rundown condo in horrible condition is well over 200K.
She says Brand New Congress and Justice Democrats asked HER to run? Did she do a stand out getting those appetizer chees sticks out to the table on time when she was waitressing to attract their attention? Or fold those fliers perfectly while she was a onetime volunteer for Bernie? Soros backed Media and Bernie backed candidate. A puppet. New Green deal was written in 2008 by UN.
And why are so many people covering up her lies?
There are lots of comments online about getting to INTEL ISEF seems pretty shady. Teachers play a big part in getting a kid there. And research labs. Money. Parents. Scholarships at stake.
Whatever the case, there are folks who really want the American public to think this is a smart girl. And yesterday even conservative news was giving her props and getting her reaction to everything and anything as if her opinion matters to us.
Some may think this is a weird detail to go after- I mean- does this award really matter. No not to me. I could care less. But you have to wonder why so many people are lying about it along with AOC herself? This is one of the very FEW details on her resume that everyone gloats about.
