I assume that these must be volunteers. I want every bit of what we do here to go to those children." she does not ask for a drink however, though she was healed she thought it best to keep the new flesh free of chemicals for a while. "It appears everything is ready indeed."

21[15:48] Shift (Renegadee) Amara had made her appearence early. Largely moving between some of the waitresses and waiters to gather snacks and drink. She never did sit very well... especially not with food nearby. So by the time most people start arriving she'd be leaning on the wall with a glass already in her hand and a easy finger food in her hand.  As of the moment though, she largely keeps to herself while waiting for the event to start.

23[15:53] Shaka The Hutt was dying to know how the rocket ports had made it through the weapons search, but it was quite the look and he tracked the man with his eyes looking impressed.

Has her health perked up?" she asked looking around at the different people within the area. She spots the Hutt and waves to him, sending him a warm smile.

41[16:02] Dusren'Aal appeared beside the fountain in a swirl of green smoke, with her short statured partner by her side. she took a moment to assess the others in attendance. glancing over them with a sharp gaze, but behind the fangs of her mask, she wore a soft smile.

43[16:02] Maj. ARC-5565 "Spitfire" moves position to the stairway, choosing to be first watch. He looks casual, very slight cant to his hips and a relaxed posture.

45[16:02] Dar: "I'll pass for now, thank you though," Dar mutters, quickly dipping her head to tap at her credit chip, scrolling through the list of recipients before finding Marisha's entry, crediting her account with a sneaky 500. She keeps the device clutched up in her right hand, indicating her willingness to spend tonight. "Enjoy your evening."

47[16:02] Commander D-5104 "Mag" approaches the two mandalorians near the fountain "Ner Vod, I must insist that you bring your weapons over to the clone behind me with the mesh patterning on his armor. We are not allowing weapons of any kind in the event unless you are Grand Army Personnel on security detail."

"Attention everyone...i would like to thank you all for coming out and supporting. The war has dislocated and let many children within the planets of the Republic and i feel it is our duty to care for them, afterall they are the future we fight for. Please donate as much as you are able and enjoy the refreshments, you all look so lovely and i adore the masks some of you sport, on behalf of the Chancellor and the Republic, enjoy and thank you." she lifted her glass.

57[16:07] Shift (Renegadee) leaned against the wall she had stayed at for the majority of the start of the banquet. As she leans on it she briefly follows ARC-5565 as he passes and takes up position next to her. The Rodian makes a quick glance over to her droid, AIDA before taking control of it directly and sending it under the stairs to slowly move it's way for the back of it. Attempting to get the droid level with the edge of the stairwell to avoid detection and move to the second floor. As it goes, Amara regards the speech with a little look over before gently grinning and moving across to get a refill of the wine she had in hand from the end of the table.

59[16:08] Aryk Blackdragon (ArykBlackdragon) would make his way in and find a spot near the dessert table to stand in, looking about and checking out everyone in their finery. He felt a little underdressed.

61[16:08] Jasper Quinn (Dagnells) walks down the long stone staircase to happen upon the large crowd that had gathered for some sort of festivities. In truth, Jasper had no idea what was happening and his appearance was completely coincidental, but his augmented eyes drifting over the crowd quickly picked up on a few ghosts from his past. In perhaps a show of slight social maturation since his last party Jasper opted to simply wander around the crowd and lean against a table, tilting his head as he awaited what was to come. It appeared to be a masquerade which suited Jasper just fine as he was keeping a low profile. Grabbing a random mask off the table Jasper slipped it on to blend in.

63[16:08] Tor Skirata (captainamerica Allen) walks into the gathering standing by Jewel. Whoever was guarding that evening would be offered an ID that said he was 'Helion Painkiller from Corellia.' Given the clear he looks over at Jewel. "Well good evening madame , you look quite exquisite tonight..care for a dance?"

65[16:09] Trisse Bianti (Beetrisse) reaches behind her and lifts a glass from the table to toast the people for coming, "To you, every one of you, for coming to support the orphans of war. Thank you." She sips.

67[16:10] Jewel Vosh (Brighid Skytower) decided a dance was a good way to get an over view of the play of the land with out raising questions. "Sure." She was good at dancing casually and not at all eyeing anything as she moved about the room.

Though she spent more time trying to find something that she could wear that would be sufficiently formal but not stuffy and scratchy as the traditional Jedi robes would be. Something about that would just spoil the event she thought, seeing the stereotypical killjoy uniform strutting around. So she used the Jedi colors and threw something together and made her way to the event. She didn't go without her saber, who would if they could help it. but beside it hanging from the chain about her hips she appeared utterly un-Jedi.

71[16:12] Danielle Yanna: glanced to see Ami enter. She gestured her over to the Zeltron senator. "My dear you look ravishing..." she refrained from drinking from glass she held. She simply stood and waited for more too arrive or approach her, casually trying to talk to some of the guests as per the hostesses duty.

73[16:13] Marisha the Waitress wanders the crowd offering drinks here and there before retreating to resupply her tray. "Good evening Madam, would you like wine?"

75[16:13] Hamish Baxter showed up with whatever shuttle of people dropped him off, he didn't have a mask or fancy clothes and would look more like a servant than a guest. Making his way through the crowd he'd pick up a class of whatever was to drink, and bring it to his lips as he looked around, observing.

The pilot wore a crisp uniform, every aspect lined and polished to the point that hours must have been taken on it.Despite this, it was minimalist in its design, He adjusted his cap, and beelined right for the alcohol.

87[16:16] Jewel Vosh (Brighid Skytower): It does seem to be crowded." She said cheerfully. "It's so nice the orphans of the galaxy will be getting so much. "Real pity for people to loose their parents at such a young age."

"fancy finding you here.... i didnt know you cared about orphans mr.Feng. you remember breeze, my fiance?" she would then gesture towards the small woman beside her.

105[16:20] Maj. ARC-5565 "Spitfire" hears the soft woooooooooo of the droid as it flies around, he doesn't like the sound of that. Climbing the stares, he spots the droid in question and narrows his eyes. "Just where did you come from..."

107[16:21] Dar crosses her arms, clearly disappointed. "I was under the impression we would be permitted to keep lightsabers. Isn't there an exception?"

109[16:21] Trisse Bianti (Beetrisse): "You will find food spread on the tables and of course the wine and champagne, please help yourselves, and enjoy the relaxing music. Everyone should have a chance to donate, whether it be anonymously with your mask, or with a note as to whom it is from. In any case, the orphans of war who do not have such good food at their tables, utterly deserve every bit that we can spare."

111[16:21] Ami Obadh cleared her throat and stepped up. "Trooper, my name is Jedi Knight Ami Obadh. I think you will find Senator Yanna has a provision for me." She explained, before glancing to Dar with a shrug of her shoulders. "Specifically, by name, as her guest."

113[16:21] Jayden Lukas arrived at the formal event with Raven. He looked around surveying the crowd. They were here for the charitable event having left their lightsabers in their ship. Whispering to Raven he adds, "Let us hope that this event remains civilized."

115[16:22] Marisha the Waitress with her heels could see over the crowd, but the sea of masked faces was a blur as she moved from group to group offering various wines.

121[16:23] Hamish Baxter stood at the food table, taking grasp of a small plate he would start to pile food up onto it, cake on top of cake until it was a small mountain balanced in his hand. He'd turn slowly while balancing it, though forget about his drink. Rolling his eyes he'd turn to get it, but knocking his elbow against the edge of the table would cause him to drop the plate and it's contents onto the floor. Looking down at it he'd mutter to himself. "Aha shit." Before nonchalantly moving away from it with his drink, leaving the mess and broken plate on the floor.

123[16:24] Shift (Renegadee) was sipping on her wine and stepping back over to the spot she was comfortably wallflowering on until she heard a question from above. Instantly the rodian locks up and she focuses on her droid with her cybernetics. Turning it's one red eye to face the trooper she sort of just stares in place for a second... Then sllloowwwllly starts to drift back for the edge of the stairwell as if nothing had happened.  Amara sips on her wine and generally tries to look as if she had no idea what was happening with AIDA up above.

125[16:24] Raven arrived at the party just in time. She sees that the venue is packed as she moves about. She could over hear someone complaining about weapons but Raven made sure to not have her lightsabers on her. Plus there was just no hiding them in this dress.

133[16:25] Tian Feng had found himself a nice secluded corner, he would glance at the glasses of champagne for a minute before turning on his heel, both his hands gripping his cane as he looked at the Duo, "Oh is that what this is for? I don't think many even realize such....most people are here to rub shoulders with the Elite, some also believe donating will clear their conscience...it won't," he'd smile slightly, those beady eyes of his turning to look at Breeze, "No I certainly recall her, a pleasure to meet you, Tian Feng," he'd offer his left hand to her in greetings.

So many new faces ran past her vision, and it warmed her heart to see such, hopefully tonight they'll make decent charitable donations. She approached the shoulder and nodded, "I do not have any weapons on me, may I head inside?"

As she approached, she would bow her head and said, "Empress Jenn, it is an honor to see you this evening. Allow me to introduce myself--Blair Tyrnith, of Tyrnith Cargo Corporation. A pleasure to finally make your acquaintance." Her words were spoken with candied joy, and a bright, warm smile blossomed on her lips.

It completely went over her head that Dar had turned around until the woman linked arms with her. She blinked and looked up to the darker woman with a stare. But she didn't outright protest. "Yes, that is correct." She said with a nod and her made-up eyes narrowed just a bit. "However as you know, the Senate has chosen me to be the go-between so perhaps it would be best if I kept mine only." She looked to Danielle at that. Overspeaking a bit. "We would not want to put anyone out. I believe I can ensure our safety." Yes, taht would work. She lowered a hand to pat Dar's on her arm. "Hand yours over, it will be alright."

163[16:31] Maj. ARC-5565 "Spitfire" screams as he gets EMP'd by the exploding drone of a droid, dropping to the floor right where he stands. The impact is significant enough to temporarily wind him on top of the EMP temporarly shutting all systems down.

165[16:31] Shift (Renegadee) AIDA starts to try and flee but it is to slow on the draw is easily finds itself under the clone's boot. Having been built and modified as one thing: A floating EMP mine, the thing makes a electric Short circuit zap noise. What follows is a electrical surge attack pre-aimed to disable the 3 battle droids on the upper level. While it might cause electronics and bionics to briefly fail, it is clear it wasnt meant to target the visitors at large. Being so suddenly ripped from her droid's point of view and focused on herself, the Rodian stumbles and looks surprised... Then awkwardly plays it off as having slipped from her position a bit.

167[16:32] Hamish Baxter simply made his way over to the other food table, hoping no one saw him cause the mess at the other one. Giving a nod and a smile at the group of three people there he'd look at the collection of drinks before collecting two glasses, one in each hand. Once he had them he'd take a few steps back, turn to face the crowd and sip on them as he'd watch.

The Force is a more dangerous weapon anyway. Try to disarm us of THAT. Impotent, cookie-cut, stuck-up little tin man..." she grumbles as she advances, handing over her heavy, rather quite solid lightsaber hilt over to him with a sneer.

At Brentaal, Kashyyk, Duro, Corellia, So long as they maintain galactic stability, which is our long term goal"

He would catch bits and pieces of conversations as he moved, and if any would make eye contact with him he would slightly bow and smile happily toward them before continuing around the room collecting snacks from the various food displays.

The Jedi didn't want to make waves at an event that was for the good of innocents.

He returns the smile to the woman in the black dress, before his eyes meet the other individual right next to him. Before Aron had a chance to say anything, the individual left and disappeared into the crowd. Shrugging to himself, he'd take a big gulp of the remainder of his drink and place the empty glass back down on the table again.

She looks back to her boss and nods again as he said it was about time to go. "Of course Sir" she places the glass to her lips and quickly downs the rest of it, swishing the expensive drink around in her mouth to savor the last bit before swallowing it and heading over to the counter to place the empty glass down upon it.

So he would.  His voice was now loud, although at nobody in particular, "So a Hutt and a Trandoshan go into a bar..." he blinked, spotting Shaka... "And the Hutt buys the place on the spot and the Trandoshan shoots himself in the foot..." he just shrugged and took a large swig from the bottle as he made his way back towards Rando, grunting to himself.  Oof.  Voice low once more, "...Got that bottle for you.  I uh... Made sure it's safe to drink..." he said as he took another swig before handing the bottle over to Rando.

"It's looking about that time to leave, yes," Aron said, giving a small data chip to the black dress woman as she approached. "Until next time," Aron said again, nodding to Lord Atalos. Looking over everyone's shoulder towards the spaceport, he'd pat his blue hand on top of R5's head and begin heading back to his dump of a freighter, unless stopped.

And the speed he had been putting back the drinks was already having an effect on him, which it didn't help that he hadn't eaten all day.  "I will see myself out.  Back to my... That translated to returning to a plain shuttle assigned to him and returning to Taris to get even more drunk.  His comfort zone was dangerously long gone surrounded by this many politicians and wealthy individuals.

I would be honored to work alongside you in these efforts."
