14Fruit Street Inc. is now the new name of Welliko as Laurence Girard tries to run away from his reputation to better steal from new investors. Laurence has found it difficult to raise money for Welliko with the publicly available information and quotes attributed to him and has already had to move on to a new name to scam investors. This type of behavior is characteristic of scam artists. Once a scam artist burns one identity or scam he must move on to the next one which in this case is Fruit Street Inc.

16As an investor in Prevently, over the past months my family has continually received attempts at paying us off for our silence about the Prevently scam. Laurence Girard has attempted to give me shares in Fruit Street and Welliko in return for a release of liability. On the principal it would be reprehensible for anyone to accept such an offer because it supports a scamartist and disallows people like myself from using our legal rights to seek damages against Laurence Girard, Welliko, Fruit Street, and whatever other companies he may cook up.

He was in fact a student at the open enrollment Harvard Extension School – open to anyone willing to pay tuition for night and online classes. Being that one school has one of the world’s most rigorous acceptance standards and the other is open to anyone with no admission standards, Laurence Girard clearly was counting on the Harvard brand to add undue legitimacy to his name and startup.

The first image is from a Prevently pitch deck used to solicit money from us, in which Laurence Girard claims to be a “Harvard University Undergraduate, the same as Kristen Faulkner who actually was a Harvard student.  In classic Laurence Girard style, the last image shows Laurence claiming to be a “Harvard Grad” in a media piece. It’s not surprising given his record of pathological lying.

He later paid for this apartment with Prevently once he abandoned Crimson Coders. The customers of this business were left with no product by Laurence Girard. Even worse, customers were led to believe through the name that Laurence Girard’s company “Crimson Coders” was a group of Harvard coders. Instead, Crimson Coders used the same incompetent coding group as Prevently did with Ingenuity Technology Consultants. 119We do not have first-hand experience (we are investors in Prevently only and did not know about Crimson Coders until late April 2014 but the pattern is clear from what Laurence Girard’s former business partners and investors have told stockholders. Crimson Coders seems to be an earlier, smaller scale version or practice for the scam that Prevently became. It seems only a small group of investors and customers were scammed with Crimson Coders by Laurence Girard.

He seems to have a habit of $5,000-$20,000 cash withdrawals and wire transfers to himself.  Additionally, he more than happily burdened a company with $1mm raised with over $500,000 in debt, over the course of 9 months, while never having more than $50,000 in the bank account at any one time.

149The offers that we got as Prevently investors to invest in Welliko and Fruit Street involved some sort of super votes to ensure Laurence Girard would always have full control of the company. Beware investors – he learned this trick at the tail-end of Prevently. He attempted to get shareholders to agree to this to oust the board. We almost agreed, until a preponderance of evidence came out against Laurence Girard. His outbursts and 30 emails per day to us did not help. It also did not help that Laurence Girard sent very public threats against the board, instead of dealing with them in a professional manner. Laurence Girard is a tyrant and not a benevolent one at that.
