1It was a minute away from midnight in Japan and the new transfer student was just leaving school, having been involved with some mean girls that hid her bag in the school. The transfer student was wearing her school uniform and had her hair tied up in a neat bun. She was super relieved to have retrieved her bag, even though it involved her using her sneaking skill she is criticized for. While going down the path from school towards the closed gate, it happened.

3It became midnight.

5Everything turned darker, there was blood on the ground and in the distance, she could see stationary coffins. To add to the confusion and fear, a shadow loomed over her. Looking behind her, she saw the school twist and morph into a gigantic, yet hideous tower. It was so tall, that she struggled to keep looking up and accidentally fell over due to her clumsiness.

7Her amazed mind was alerted when she heard sounds coming from the front gate, as well the bushes and trees. 'This can't be happening ! Am I just going to get beaten up by some gang of punks and...and...; She did not want to think about it anymore, but the fear still remained.

9But the sounds, while ominous, could belong to someone that could help her.

12As the clock struck midnight, your whole surroundings turned dark gloomy and the moon shined brightly in the sky as you walked around the blood stained streets. As you fell to the ground you could feel a rather ominous presence coming from behind you, there were even coffins out in the streets for some reason.

14As you felt the feeling get worse, the thing was a blob of darkness with a blue mask on its face that looked like one of those drama theater masks. It slowly crawled towards you trying to grab and claw your feet.

16Seeing the disgusting creature crawl towards her just confirmed her wishes to get out of her as soon as possible, but it might not happen if the blue mask thing grabbed her by the legs. So she decides to try kicking it in the mask and standing up, planning to make a run for it. But what was behind her was worrying, as she could be jumping from the frying pan into a fire. With little time she has to decide, she makes the hard decision to make a run for it and hope the creature can't vault over the school gate like she can.

18The shadow on the other hand, flinched a bit but it wasn't too pleased as the girl kicked it straight in the face just like that, it howled at the large moon in the sky as it chased after her, this time there were two other blobs with blue masks on them chasing you, adding the total count to three. As she vaulted over the school gates, something was wrong, the school wasn't there, what was there instead was a amalgamation of buildings and rooms into a weird structure that was once her former school, or what used to be her school.

20Once she vaulted over, she turned around to see what her pursuers were doing. However, once she did, she saw the tower and it left her terrified and unable to voice a reaction. Just what was going on with this crazy town, that was what she thinking before seeing the monsters climbing over the gates and having her legs start moving on their own.

22It was clear to her, she did not want to die. Her body did not want to die, but how long can she keep going ?

24After immediately hearing a human voice, she stopped, certain she was going to be saved. She was right. "Penthesilea ?" The 'survivor' asked before seeing a humanoid floating and making those black blobs freeze, allowing for some arrows to kill them. It was hard to believe what she just saw, however, thinking about this more, she will need to receive a lot of explanation. Looking at the gate, she saw and heard the bow girl asking her.  She was about to be killed and she is in a place that is like an alien planet and that girl is asking her if she is alright !? Well if she wants to get an answer, she's gonna give her one hell of a answ- "Y-yeah...I'm...fine."

26The student nodded and took her hand, following wherever her savior will lead her. Some answers will definitely calm down the shocked girl.

28Upon closer inspection these two girls did look kind of tall, "I'm Mitsuru Kirijo, this is Yukari Takeba." The red head said introducing herself to you as she took closer steps to you. With each step she took she seemed to get larger and larger. Upon closer inspection it would seem that Mitsuru had to be at least 6 feet tall while Yukari was somewhere around that tall as they both brought you back to the Iwatodai dorm.

30"I'm sure you have lots of questions, for now rest on the couch." Mitsuru said to you as she sat on the couch and asked you to take a seat as well. "Those things were called, shadows..." Mitsuru said as she explained the concept of shadows at the midnight hour to you along with personas.

32"The Student President ?" She said, remembering that Mitsuru Kirijo was the school's student president. The student also heard great things about her speeches, but did not hear any of them. Mitsuru was a person she somehow managed to miss, so it wasn't so shocking for her to be standing next to a 6 foot tall girl. Don't get her wrong, it still weirded her out that these girls were 6 foot tall, but she wouldn't assume much about herself.

34Once they arrived at the dorm, it basically boiled down to her asking a question and then receiving an explanation from either Mitsuru or Yukari. "One more question... What does it mean if I can be moving around and not in a coffin in this Dark Hour ?" She remembers hearing that Persona users can be active during the Dark Hour, but she didn't know if she was one. Her eye finally caught the red armband those two were wearing. "SEES ?" She asked, looking at Mitsuru's armband and reading it outloud.

36"SEES is basically our cover at school, its the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, this is how we summon our personas." Mitsuru said explaining more to the girl as she showed her the Evoker on the table which looked like a pistol. "If you can walk around...that pretty much means you're a Persona user, like we are." Mitsuru explained further as she presented you with an armband,

38"You are free to join us if you wish, we could use more potential Persona users...by the way, what is your name?" Yukari asked as it would seem like she didn't feel it was weird that they were this tall or huge, Mitsuru was a towering 6'3 while Yukari was 5'10.

40This was one hell of a night.

42From almost certain death from shadow monsters to being welcomed into a secret club that had special powers. It all took place in one hour that should not exist. And now, she had to make a decision: Not join and attempt to live a normal life, but failing to do so and even getting killed by those monsters or joining the fight and stopping the nightmare once and for all. It was a tough choice, but her mind was made up.

44She moved her hand over to the armband and took it. "Midori Nanami." The girl stated her name to the girls that towered over her body that was just over 5 feet tall.

46"Nice to meet you Midori-chan." Yukari said shaking your hand as you felt like this was a very important choice for you to take. "You can stay here for the day if you wish, Midori-chan." Yukari said as you suddenly felt a bond form between you and Yukari, albeit you couldn't see it currently, as a result, Yukari grew before your very eyes as she inched taller to 6'0, you on the other hand began inching up to 5'2 as you formed a bond with the lover's arcana.

48Yukari showed you up to your room on the upper floors showing you to your room on the second floor.

50"N-nice to meet you too, Yukari-chan." Midori was weirded out, in a good way, when she heard Yukari address her in such a manner. It felt the right thing to do was to reply in the same way. She shook her hand as well and was surprised to hear her offer a place to stay for the day. Yukari, in Midori's mind, turned from a complete stranger to a nice person she sort of knows. That's not much, but it's a starting point. Midori did feel something, but she would be hard pressed to explain what it was.

52Turning her head to Mitsuru, she seemed to be okay with this. Maybe because she thought about this beforehand ? Whilst walking together with Yukari, she decided to ask her. "How long have you been doing this...club activity ?" Just as they were to reach her new room, she felt the need to look behind her, as if someone was reaching into her soul. When she did that, she thinks she saw a blue door with blue light coming from it.

54Midori did feel her clothes getting tighter, if only very slightly as she grew a bit taller, albeit the changes were far too subtle for her to notice or feel yet. "About...a few months, Mitsuru-senpai has been doing this much longer." Yukari explained as she showed you to your room and you could use it however you felt like, as Midori saw the blue door, she felt quite compelled to open it as she felt drawn towards it, at first she tried opening it but it was locked, until a key appeared in her right hand. Like it was always there but she couldn't see it at first.

56As Midori chose to enter the velvet room, she was greeted by a man with a long nose and a woman in blue dressed like an elevator attendant. "Welcome to the velvet room, my name is Igor." Igor said introducing himself to you as he explained what this place was. "This place exists between dreams and reality." Igor explained as you noticed the lady in blue was more...normal sized.

58Midori walked over to the blue door. Attempts to open it didn't go well, until a key appeared in her hand. After unlocking it, she took one step and everything went white. Then she appeared in a large elevator that had a big clock that spun like crazy, There seemed to be a wardrobe for some reason. In the middle of the room, there was a round table and behind it, an old man with a long nose. Next to him, a female elevator attendant.

60"What do you do here ? Do you know anything about a spirit-ey thing called Persona ?" Midori tried asking Igor, unsure about the existence of this room not its purpose.

62"Personas...are our specialty." Igor said as he took out a book showing you several different tarot cards before your eyes, "The fool, The Magician, The Priestess, these are some of the Arcanas and bonds you are able to form, much like you did with your friend." Igor explained further as he took out a Jack Frost and summoned it before your very eyes.

64"This is a persona...one of many you might be able to acquire." Igor stated with a wave of his hand Jack Frost slowly disappeared and vanished back into the card. "You are our guest and it is our duty to help you anyway we can." Igor stated further as you felt like a bond had been formed, you saw that you had acquired the Fool and The Lovers. As you gained the fool, Midori shot up another 2 inches taller to 5'4.

66The Tarot Cards. It was a concept she was familiar with and remembered it immediately once Igor started listing the arcanas. What he said next didn't really make sense to her right away. However, all the thoughts about that disappeared once the cute creature known as Jack Frost showed up. She 'awwed' at the ice fairy, finding him too cute and adorable. Midori was a bit disappointed when it disappeared, but continued listening to him.

68Grabbing the card of the Fool and having it disappear now seemed normal, but what didn't seem normal is that her clothes were getting tight. "Did I just...grow ?" Midori asked herself, but was heard by everyone in this room. "So...what's my Persona like ?"

70"Yes you did grow." Igor said simply as he told Midori the truth as she asked herself. "Each bond you form, you and your companions will grow stronger, in more ways than one." Igor explained the purpose of the fool arcana to you. "Your Persona...is unclear..." Igor said as he passed you a completely blank card where your persona should be but it was completely blank, there was two half of a face on the opposite end but no persona at all within the card.

72"You have to imagine what your persona will be...even I do not know what persona you have." Igor said as the card slowly vanished from your hand with a snap of his fingers.

74Midori just listened, being glad to hear that she and her friends will be getting stronger, but worried what would become of them if they kept growing and growing. As for the empty card, she gazed into its' void and tried to imagine what could be inside or on the card. It was cut a bit too short once the card vanished and her thoughts were abruptly ended, but the card came back and this time it had an illustration in the corner.

76"A fairy ? No...a Pixie ? How do I know that ?" Midori asked herself as she looked at the card that was now a bit more full, but it seemed to have more space for other Personas.

78As Midori gazed into the empty card, it appeared like there was a blurry figure in it, like it was shrouded by a black fog. "As the fool, you have access to more than one persona, the number zero represents nothing...but also infinite possibilities." Igor explained further, the power of The Fool Arcana that Midori possessed. "Each card can only hold one persona, but your mind can hold multiple." Igor said further as he pointed you to the door behind you, should you want to go out that is.

80"If you have any other questions, you know where to find us, or we shall visit you." Igor explained further as he smiled along with his assistant with his usual creepy smile.

82Midori feels like it is time to leave, so she stands up from the chair and approaches the exit. Thinking it would be the polite thing to do, she bows down before leaving. Everything turns white as she goes through the door as it changes back into the dormitory's second floor. Yukari seemed to be confused why Midori just walked and stopped for a second to look at a plain wall. "Uhm..hehe...could you ask Mitsuru-san if I could be moved to this dorm ? I wanna help you guys as much as I can."

84Once Yukari is out of sight, she unlocks the door to her room and opens the door. But before going in, she checks again that nobody is coming up or down and then tries to move that blue magical door that only she can see. Her objective: move that door into her room. It will probably fail, but it's worth the try.

86As you went back to the real world and saw the tall Yukari once again, it would seem like little to no time had passed at all. "R-really? I'll be sure to tell Mitsuru about it!" Yukari said as her face lit up and held both of your hands together and shook them. "Thanks...it really means a lot to us." Yukari said before going back down to tell Mitsuru the news, it was then you could see the bond of the Fool Arcana ascend to rank 2, Midori could feel her clothes getting even tighter as she went up to 5'6, Yukari as well got even taller as she went up to 6'3, along with Mitsuru to 6'3.

88As Midori went into her room, nobody was going up or around this place, you three seemed to be the only ones here, as you tried to move the door into your room, oddly enough it didn't budge at all, not like you need to move it really.

90Midori thought that Yukari's actions and expressions were cute back there. As she disappeared from her sight, she felt her clothes getting tighter and tighter, which became a worrying subject. She tries to ignore that for now and attempted to push the door into her room for her convenience only. It didn't work. Having given up, she walked into her room and closed the door behind her.

92She let herself fall on the bed and looked at the ceiling, thinking about everything that has happened so far. With a sigh, she silently spoke to herself. "I'm going to need more clothes." After that, she closed her eyes and drifted into sleep, in the most uncomfortable position to sleep at that.

94Her clothes did make it uncomfortable for the day, to make matters worse, Midori had to wait until school was over to get some new clothes tomorrow. As she dreamed, she found herself in the velvet room once again, "Welcome back my guest, I did say that you would get visited by us at other times, one such time is now." Igor said demonstrating the abilities of the velvet room, soon enough you had woken up again in your tight pajamas and had to go to school in your tight uniform, you took the train along with Yukari to Gekkoukan High.

96Midori was shocked to see herself back in the Velvet Room so soon. She listened to Igor explain the features of the room, feeling a bit worried because she worried that she would be brought here every night. Just as she was about to ask for the assistant's name, but was stopped by the morning light shining on her eyes. She got up and dressed up in her tight school uniform, thinking how to get a bigger sized uniform after the day.

98She greeted Yukari and went to school together, riding the train and observing the beautiful bay area. Midori looked uneasy, taking sneak glances at Yukari's height compared to everyone else. Once they were walking down the path to school, she gulped, having some bad memories about last night.

100What was more apparent was, Yukari's uniform also seemed tighter than before, well that and she seemed a bit bigger too. "I swear...I keep outgrowing my uniforms for some reason or another..." Yukari said as she seemed aware of the changes but isn't fully aware of them. Yukari had to be 6'4 at this point as it seems she grew even more after you left the velvet room. She practically towered over most people in the train as they whispered about her. "Hey...you wanna go shopping after school Midori?" Yukari asked curiously as she too seemed uncomfortable in her current clothes.

102Midori was glad to hear that Yukari's clothes were getting tight as well, even though it was a not very good thing to be happy about. However, at least she won't be buying clothes that are bigger than normal. Still...this growing shtick is slowly but surely going out of hand. Looking up to her pink dressed friend, she realized how much she had grown, thanks to other people standing next to her. "I'd love to !" Midori replied to Yukari with a smile, being happy about it.

104But before they could go shopping, there was school. And to begin the day, there was the lesson with Toriumi-sensei. Midori hopes she can pay enough attention to class instead of thinking of her possible choices in the clothing stores.

106"Oh that's...wait really?" Yukari said her face lighting up as she looked down at you with her face brightening up as she heard you say that you'd love to hang out with her. "Okay, I'll meet you at the school gates then." Yukari said as she walked to the school gates and introduced you to the board, luckily for you, you and Yukari were in the same class, it said that your homeroom teacher was Miss Toriumi. "She's an overall good teacher, don't worry too much." Yukari said as the two girls towered over most of the students here, well Yukari in particular.

108"Alright class, take your seats." Miss Toriumi said as she walked into class and assumed her position at her desk, she looked like your average Japanese woman, despite the fact she was teaching two rather tall girls in the class. As Midori paid attention in class, she could feel the knowledge getting absorbed into her brain like a sponge.

110Midori smiled at Yukari, being happy with her friend's reaction on the outside, but on the inside, she was worried sick if they grow even more during the day or that their clothing would rip during class, around people, etc. 'Woe is me', she thought as she thought of this growth more of a curse than a helping hand. With the meeting spot decided upon, she went inside the school and walked up to the board. At first, Midori couldn't see her name, but only noticed a note with her name and class on it after Yukari had already pointed it out.

112Midori was seating relatively close to Yukari, although she was more closer to the center of the class than Yukari, who was pretty much at the front. The lesson was going smoothly and she actually felt that she was learning something. However...she felt sleepy. Maybe some shut eye wouldn't hurt so ba- Suddenly Miss Toriumi stopped and asked if a student behind Midori was paying attention. 'Whew...dodged a bullet there.' Soon the lesson was over and the rest of her school day stayed consistent.

114After school, Midori went to the school gates, waiting for Yukari to finish things up in school and join her in some shopping.

116"We'll be revising this chapter for the day..." Miss Toriumi said as she began teaching the class, as you nearly dozed off, Miss Toriumi yelled at the boy behind you as you nearly fell asleep, "Hey Junpei, no sleeping in class!" Miss Toriumi said yelling and pointing directly at you, even though you were not sleeping yet, it would seem that the boy called Junpei was behind you. "Y-yes Miss Toriumi, I'm sorry about that." Junpei said getting up and bowing his head hoping he would not incur her wrath.

118As Yukari and you met up at the school gates, the two of you were met up with a familiar man with a cap, "Yo, what's up DekaYuka." Junpei said looking up at his childhood friend now. She was at least almost a full head taller than he was, this did pretty much earn him a punch on his head by Yukari. "I told you to stop calling me that Stupei." Yukari said as even you were an inch taller than the boy with the baseball cap.

120"Ouch...you didn't have to hit me so hard you know...who's the other tall girl?" Junpei asked curiously looking over at Midori. "She's Midori, she's been living at us with the dorm recently." Yukari said to him as he offered his hand to Midori. "I'm Junpei, nice to meet you." Junpei said smiling.

122Midori felt she gained more knowledge as she stayed awake and listened to Miss Toriumi scold this boy named Junpei. She felt that she learned more about Miss Toriumi's teaching style. A mental note was made and it read: Stay awake during this teacher's lessons. Everything seemed normal with these teachers in the school. Then a history teacher with a samurai helmet showed up.

124Funnily enough, the man with the cap showed up again and acted very 'friendly' to Yukari. It seemed that they knew each other for a long time. New words gained: DekaYuka and Stupei.  Meanings ? Undecipherable for now. "Midori. Nice to meet you too." She said as she shook his offered hand. While being next to a boy this close seemed normal, she noticed how taller she was than him, even though it was minuscule. Midor's thoughts could be summed up like this: smile on the outside with internal screaming.

126"Yukari, shouldn't we be going now ? Paulownia mall awaits us." Midori hopes that they will have a successful shopping trip, determined to go through all the stores for clothing that would fit her.

128"Right, lets get going." Yukari said to Midori as she walked with you to the local train stations and got on it heading towards Paulownia Mall. "Junpei's an idiot at times so I call him that, since he likes to call me Giant Yukari at times..." Yukari said venting some of her frustrations off on you as she had to be careful where to walk so she wouldn't hit her head on the metal bar above the train cars. "Its kinda hard being tall sometimes..." Yukari muttered to you as they both went to the local mall.

130There were plenty of stores here, all you had to do was pick a store and go into it, since Yukari knew this place the best. She led Midori around the place and entered a local store, it had things around your size but Yukari's would be a little harder to find.

132"I can see why." Midori responded to Yukari's muttering about her height being problematic, but also about why Junpei sometimes refers to Yukari as 'Giant Yukari' or 'DekaYuka'.  It was starting to get worrying how dangerous it is for someone to be that tall, but she also realized how short Japanese people actually are. Midori wasn't used to getting this much varied knowledge in one day and in such a short time span.

134Shopping with Yukari was fun and her choices were quite good. Midori went for the 'safe' options in fashionable clothing. Thankfully, the stores had plenty of clothing that fir her size, while Yukari was struggling a bit. She felt really bad for DekaYuka, but if the man with the long nose is right, it should make her a lot stronger against those Shadows, but her strength started to show somewhere else. The two girls, tired after the shopping spree, decided to get a drink from a vending machine. Midori asked if Yukari could hold her four bags of clothing, while she herself was holding four of her own. She quickly put in the money, pushed the buttons and viola ! Two bottles came out. Once she turned around, she was surprised to see Yukari not even be bothered by it or at least that's what it looked like.

136After returning to the dorm, making small talk during the walk back 'home', Midori set her bags on the bed and walked into the corridor to visit the Velvet Room again.

138Yukari on the other hand paid for her  four bags, luckily her arms were long and she was also quite strong at her new height, despite looking rather thin still, but she still did look large. "Y-yeah...if I were to grow any bigger it would get harder to find clothes." Yukari said to Midori as she sat on the bench drinking two cans as she was now a big girl after all. Holding four bags on your own was still a little hard since you weren't nearly as big as Yukari was yet, you could wager she could even hold all the bags if she wanted.

140"Being a big girl isn't so easy sometimes..." Yukari said to you as she walked back with you as she drank her second can of drink and ducked under the door frame to enter, it was then you heard that the lovers had ranked up to rank 2, you could now create even stronger personas if you wish, but you had none to fuse currently so it mattered little, it was then your clothes and Yukari's got even tighter as you two grew two inches more. Yet Yukari didn't seem to notice it at all, like she was always that height. "Catch you later Midori." Yukari said as she went up to her room to study.

142"Welcome to the velvet room once again guest." Igor said as he sat in his chair once again as you sat in yours, "How may we help you?" Igor asked looked at you with his creepy face once again.

144"Hmm ? Yeah, later." Midori responded to Yukari while feeling her clothes get even tighter. She started wondering what that voice was all about. 'Thankfully...' she thought in her room as she took out some pieces of clothing out from a bag, 'I bought clothes that were way bigger. Now they will be either pleasantly loose or just the right size.' But that voice was concerning her slightly, but Midori knew who to ask this question to: The Man with the Nose.

146That is why she went to the Velvet Room. "I heard a voice that I...ranked up ? Are you keeping track of me 'ranking up' these Arcanas ?" She asked Igor directly, but after taking a look at the girl with white hair, she could see she was holding a book. 'Maybe she does ?' Midori thought before remembering something important. "Uhm...lady with the book...Who are you ?"

148Luckily for you, your new clothes were a little loose, meaning that you had plenty of room to grow into your new outfit, until you outgrow it that is.

150"A voice in your head...hmm..." Igor said out loud thinking for a while before coming up with an answer for you as he drew out the priestess card from the Arcana deck. "Something like this?" Igor asked as he showed the card that appeared in your mind. "This is the power of the fool, like I said before, those are your bonds, the stronger they become, the stronger you and your companions will become." Igor said to you as he placed the card back on top of the deck as it shuffled itself somehow.

152"I am Elizabeth, pleasure to meet your acquaintance." Elizabeth said as she bowing before you and opened the compendium looking through it before slamming it shut once again. "I am one who governs power, I like Igor help guide you on your journey." Elizabeth said as she smiled to you with her yellow eyes, it was clear she wasn't a normal human by her looks.

154"Elizabeth...Nice to meet you too." Midori replied back and felt that she did everything she wanted to do here. "Thank you for the clarification, I'll see soon, I think." With that said, she left the room and found herself just standing in the corridor, looking very weird for a possible person who would be passing by. Looking at her wrist watch, Midori deduced that she could do something before going to her room to clean up and study. So she heads downstairs.

156Once she was at the first floor, she noticed a calendar and check today's date and what the moon phase was. During the whole day, she thought that it might be a full moon tonight, but she wasn't sure. That all cleared up one she checked it. Now for the main 'attraction': Mitsuru Kirijo. "Evening, Senpai." Midori greeted the tall red head, who was sitting on the couch and drinking tea. "Could you tell me a little more about that Tartarus ? Have you guys tried exploring it yet ?"

158"Always a pleasure to help our guest." Elizabeth said as she bowed as you went out through the door and went back to the real world. As she looked at her wristwatch, it was late afternoon, very little to no time had passed at all since you went into the velvet room. As she went to the living room downstairs, Mitsuru seemed a little taller than usual, even though Yukari was still taller than her by an inch or so, she still seemed a little gigantic compared to Midori.

160"Seems like its going to be a full moon tonight..." Mitsuru said to you as she warned you beforehand. "Shadows do behave a little more weirdly when there's a full moon out." Mitsuru said further as she looked at the news and greeted you back. "And good evening Midori." Mitsuru said smiling down a bit at the shorter girl as she asked her about Tartarus. "We have explored a few floors of it but nothing other than that really...it seems like an endless tower..." Mitsuru said further to you as she sat down and drank her glass of water.

162"Ah, I see. Are you planning an expedition to the tower any time soon ?" Midori asked, got an answer and eventually left to her room, telling Mitsuru that she is going to study in her room. However, before she could study, she decided to categorize her new clothing and put them in her wardrobe all neatly and tidily. After that, she pulled out some books and started reading up on them, solving some exercises while at it. Eventually, it got dark and Midori went outside her room for a snack from the vending machine. With a candy bar in hand, she began eating it while checking the time, which caught her off guard.

164"23:59 !?" Midori silently shouted, not wanting to disturb anyone who might be asleep. But then it hit her. The Dark Hour was upon her and everything turned dark green and creepy. Something didn't feel right, even for the Dark Hour. Midori thought about going back to her room, but she stopped due to the building shaking for whatever reason. "S-shadows !?"

166"Perhaps sometime in the near future we shall explore it further, for now we are busy dealing with the shadows that lurk outside the tower..." Mitsuru said to you as she sipped her glass of water. "That's alright, I'll see you some other time then Midori." Mitsuru said as you left to go upstairs to settle things with your wardrobe, as you arranged your clothes, your drawers did seem like it was too small to hold some of your clothes until you got rid of your old small clothes. As Midori finished up and went to study she could find herself getting smarter as she did so, albeit very slightly, as she went out to get a snack, oddly enough the candy bar looked really small in her hand due to her increased size.

168As she shouted out loud through the halls the time, it was then a loud gong could be heard throughout the building signalling that it was indeed the dark hour. This dark hour however, you felt a slight toll on your body as it entered the dark hour this time round, a loud crash could be heard a few moments later like something had exploded, suddenly Yukari bumped into you telling you to come with her. "Come with me to the roof, apparently Akihiko found a really large shadow and its attacking us." Yukari said as she dragged Midori along with her incredible strength.

170"Akihiko ? Is he alright ?" Midori asked while running up the stairs, having been pulled a few steps by Yukari's strength. She didn't meet this Akihiko, but was told about him during the day Yukari and Mitsuru saved her. As they were running up the stairs, she could hear glass shattering below. It seemed that something was following them. While looking back and making the turn to the next stairs, her eyes wondered and saw the windows and what she see behind them scared her.

172It was a blue mask, almost like the one she saw on that day, but this one was much larger and held by a completely black hand. One of those was touching a window infront of them and it seemed like it was going to punch through it. She didn't want her or Yukari to be grabbed, so she tackled her friend while yelling "Sorry !" in advance. The shattered glass fell on her back and thankfully didn't hurt her at all. What was more surprising is that she actually tackled and brought Yukari to the ground. A mix of her own strength and the element of surprise.

174"Come on, get up ! That thing might try that again !" Midori said with panic in her voice as she grabbed her left arm and tried her best to pull up Yukari so that they could continue running up. Eventually, they reach the top floor and DekaYuka unlocks the door and shuts it right behind us. That was one problem down, now came the other.

176For Midori, reality seemed to be readjusting as the gigantic shadow that tried to grab them a few floors back was slowly coming into view. A huge black blob with lots of arms, one holding its face. It stopped for a moment, looking at the two girls. Midori's heart was beating faster and faster and her facial expression was terrible. She was clearly scared of her second encounter with these creatures. Yukari didn't seem to be as much scared and she even had her Evoker with her. Yukari tried summoning her Persona as the monster turned its mask at Midori, but it quickly pulled out blades for each arm and quickly rushed at her, knocking her down and tossing her Evoker at Midori. It ended up sliding right next to her feet. The shadow looked at her again but turned away, not seeing her as a threat. While it relieved Midori a bit, that meant that the shadow would be focused on Yukari ! Gulping, she keeled down and picked up the Evoker.

178There was no known voice telling her what to do, nor a flash into the velvet room, only the knowledge of what to do. She put her left hand onto her chest while moving her right hand to her head, pointing the Evoker straight at it. As her finger began to pull, words started to come out of her mouth. "Per...so...na !" Click. Shatter. Eyes glowing blue. A Pixie being summoned to the fight.

180"Akihiko-senpai's pretty tough, he'll be fine...I hope." Yukari said as she dragged you along with her upstairs as they tried to get away from the shadow as the glass shattered from the loud and violent crash. As you saw the giant shadow with its giant blue mask and many hands, Yukari pulled you even harder and ran faster as you tackled Yukari, Yukari herself was surprised with your strength as she was tackled to the ground. "No problem...a little warning would be nice next time you know." Yukari said to you as she fell to the ground as the glass cut Midori's back slightly, while she was a persona user, she was still human.

182Yukari was even more surprised as you dragged her for a few seconds with your inhuman strength as she finally recovered and got up dragging you along with her superior strength and speed. Yukari closed the door behind them as the giant shadow appeared before them as it slowly climbed up the building. "Its alright I can do this..." Yukari said drawing her evoker and placing it against her forehead, she tried to pull the trigger but couldn't, that was when the shadow threw a ball of fire straight at her slamming her against the wall unconscious as the evoker slid over to you.

184As you summoned pixie, it was like a cute fairy with a blue outfit, only difference was it had ginger hair almost similar to Midori's as it smiled at her. "I am thou...thou art I..." The voice spoke to Midori as she felt like something was trying to come out of her.

186Midori felt as if she just summoned a part of her soul to fight, even though that's pretty much what she just did. She was still surprised to see someone so small, so mystical and yet, so familiar. The Persona seemed to have some sort of self awareness and didn't seem to completely rely on the 'master' to do everything. However, this fascination and wonder was cut abruptly as the shadow quickly tossed one of its blades right at her. It went right in the middle of her body and was stuck inside. It was so quick that it took a few seconds for the pain to come in and the blood to come out.

188Midori went from wide mouthed out of wonder to wide mouthed out of pain. She screamed out of pain and stumbled backwards a bit, reaching out for her Pixie in hopes that she could do something about it. And she did. The Pixie had a worried look on her face, but that didn't change the fact that she quickly pulled out that blade as if it were nothing and tossed it aside. Then, she held her right hand over the wound and fluttered her wings a couple of times. The hand and the wound started to glow and Midori felt a lot better, having the feeling of pain disappear. Seeing the blood disappear and the injury gone, Pixie laughed out of amusement, proud and happy to have done such a good job.

190However, she know felt something inside of her again and this time, it was stronger than before. It was hurting her mind so bad, that she grabbed her head in reaction to it. Her Persona was also acting weird, her body moving in weird ways. She watched in horror and in pain as her guardian fairy's limbs went straight into her tiny body. All hope seemed to be lost, until...

192A katana cut through poor Pixie's body from the inside. It kept going and going and going, when it stopped, showing that the katana was about the same length as Midori. After the katana was out, she could see hands covered in white gloves holding the blade. The arms began to widen the gap before a woman with long blonde hair wearing a red dress jumped out of the now gone Pixie's body and landed on the rooftop without a hitch, even though she was wearing high heels. 194Midori couldn't really control herself after the pain suddenly disappeared. All she did was smile and point at the huge shadow. The woman jumped into the air, aiming her blade downward and landing right on top of the monster. It growled in pain, but it didn't matter in this fight. No...this wasn't a fight. A fight implies the monster ever had a chance. The blonde woman cut off the shadow's arms in quick succession. In one slice, ten were cut. In another, all but one disappeared. She grabbed the blue mask with her left hand, her nails digging into the mask. Her sword was being pushed into the center of the monster more and more to damage it, but she destroyed it when her hand clenched the mask so hard, it shattered. The monster slowly disappeared and Midori, having seen all that was slowly approaching the woman.

196The full moon was shining on them, only highlighting the mysterious woman's beauty. She slowly turned around, having a blank expression on her face, but once Midori was close to her, she gave her a smirk. Midori suddenly felt really tired and started falling forwards. She was passing out by the second, about to fall on the ground out of exhaustion. The woman spread her arms to catch her, but once the two girls came in contact, the woman disappeared and Midori fell to the ground. Inside Midori's mind, she saw a tarot card: a skull and XIII. Death.
