3You cannot public shame by stating the scammer's name as it violates the forum rules, not like this matters. Scammers can now get banned on Hypixel, but don't guarantee that because there will be far too many reports of them, so don't ask the admins to ban the scammer on the Skyblock forums. Reporting the incident at hypixel.net/report instead might actually work. Scammers can sometimes get away with doing their job, but that states a lot about their reputation (negatively) and scams will be something to regret later on.

5It is entirely your fault for getting scammed because you didn't put enough forethought into your bid/trade/transfer/co-op add, and instead acted too gullible. You cannot trust everyone you meet online, even if they say they are trustworthy. The most you can do is learn from your mistakes and make better choices for the future, especially if you say you got scammed for the 2nd time, 3rd time, etc.

11The SkyblockZ discord has an official scammer list. There, you can actually report scammers to a staff member with video evidence. And if you did post proof, make the video visable by setting it to Unlisted or Public. Use the Windows Key + Alt + R to record a video or use OBS (free software) and set the scene to Minecraft for recording a video. Shotcut, Windows Movie Maker, and Hitfilm Express are solid tools to edit your videos with, if needed. This invite link may be removed if problems with it arise.

When it comes to scamming there is almost nothing we can do regarding the case to prevent it from happening. This is caused by trusting people too much and not using the trading methods appropriately as explained down below.

14Whenever you want to trade, it should be the items vs the item method. Use the auction to sell items, do not try anything else and using the item vs item trading system is secure. If you accept the trade there is nothing we can do about it as you both agreed to it. Therefore, by using these trading methods, you will be able to help prevent scams from happening on the network.
