1A station by the name of Vaneskya had recently began to catch the eye of metro dwellers surrounding the old battlegrounds of Redline and Reich. It is positioned between Tverskaya (Reich) and Lubyanka (Redline), a perfect breeding ground for the two to fight upon. The most northern gate was able to lock anyone out who came from that side, the soutern gate being a lot easier to breach. The two forces had drawn back to fight at a different front as it appeared to be a useless, never ending fight over the small station, and so they left the station in dust for potentionally a later date.
2The old fortifications are still around, surrounding the barracks and leading up tot the surface entrance. All what was useful had been taken by the two forces, the leftovers scrapped by the first few dwellers who have settled at their new home.
3The station had barely finished construction before the war broke out and so the surface area surrounding the metro entrace had a construction site ontop of it. The plans were to expand a nearby portion of what used to be the city, with new residences and business skyscrapers for people to live and work at, the metro station being easy access for those around the city.
4The air up above is toxic and irradiated, so a gas mask is a must. It was  used as an alternative route to other entrances in the metro to flank the opposing forces for the Reich and Redline,and they still seem to patroll from time to time up there.
