74I do not think that asking Harry or Monbrey to step down at this moment is necessarily what is best for URPG nor do I believe that it is reasonable to do so. Let's break this down:Monbrey was accused of being sexually inappropriate to another member(s?) 7+ years ago. Apparently, he was infracted for it by BMG. I am not aware of any URPG punishments he received. If there were any reason to ask him to step down, his involvement in the sexual mistreatment of other members would be the only one. However, based on what we know he was already punished for these acts. Some may argue that this punishment was not strong enough, but I think most of us here do not have enough information to make that call such a long time later. If he had never been punished at all, I'd be inclined to believe his actions were swept under the rug and ignored. But they were addressed at some point and one thing I can say for certain is that unless new information has come to light since then, his actions back then cannot suddenly change in degree or severity. If they only warranted an infraction back then, then they do not warrant anything more now.

81The reasoning behind asking Harry to step down (as I understand it) would be because he ignored or was at the very least compacent to claims of sexual harassment and cyberbullying. I am not fully comfortable asking him to step down over this either, because I dont know what situations are being referenced that he was complacent or willfully ignorant to. The one conversation I do recall is the one referenced by Ely in Adamantine where something (I do not remember what) that was reported to Harry was met with the response that this was nothing more than the typical toxicity that arises every once in a while or something to that effect. I disagree with that kind of response to a report, and I think it was wrong of Harry to treat it that way. However, I'm not able to draw the conclusion that he should resign over this because, again, I do not have enough information on what was reported.

906I'd just like to note that in my 5 or so years of knowing him, Monbrey has never once made me feel uncomfortable or sexually harassed. Behind all the banter, we have had many private conversations and he has had plenty of opportunity - never once has he made such a comment. He reminds me of typical dudes I went to school with, who have pervy senses of humor and have some kind of "that's what she said" remark about mundane things to get a laugh. I wasn't around during the infraction/sexual misconduct phase and have no idea what it entails, but if it has already been acknowledged and punished, it seems awfully destructive to rip him from the game 7 years later. Though to be honest, this drama smears his reputation even if he is innocent, because now if he stays, it looks like urpg is okay with "sexual harassment." He basically just got royally screwed either way.

The fact that people feel like we cannot trust each other anymore is one of the biggest discussions we've been having in threads and in everywhere else. The fact of the matter is that while in earlier days, when we felt like we could trust each other, faith would be enough. But since we do have these severe issues of trust, and since this conversation was also led with premature targeting and asking to step down of at least four or five of staff that makes them feel like they're not respected enough to have even been asked about it, there is almost 0 trust here that will let us take these speculations seriously

2702This is so awkward. But after reading Elysia's recent post, things are starting to make a little more sense to me now. What has been so frustrating about all this is we were not told any details about anything; it was simply: "these guys did bad things, trust us, fire them". I feel like most of staff have been completely in the dark. I wish I had known about this sexual harassment issue when I returned from my first hiatus 6/7 years ago, I would have certainly raised hell about it. I was the only female mod for a very long time, and I received comments from old pe2k members that were absolutely disgusting as well, yet there was literally no one who I could go to about it, considering our Head at the time was mia, and when your 'status' is so far down on the bottom, you feel like no one would listen to you or care anyways. It's an awful environment for new/underage members to be in, and I truly believed it was no longer happening when certain problematic members left urpg. What's so awkward about this is that this issue was so very long ago, and I wholeheartedly believe Monbrey regrets it and has changed. As I said before, he has never made a comment to me like this and I have never seen him make a comment like it to another member. Considering this, it feels so wrong to punish him now for something that was done so long ago, yet at the same time, I agree he was not punished enough in the first place. If Harry promoted him knowing what he had done, then that too was also a great injustice and a horrible judgement call.

I once disliked Harry quite a bit after the fiasco of what happened to Loyal Arcanine, but he grew on me as being a kind and patient person who was passionate about keeping urpg alive despite half the community being angry with him. This makes this so hard to say... but if what Elysia posted was true, then I now agree with Liam. I do not see the issue resolving while Harry and Monbrey are heads of urpg. I honestly feel awful even saying it, because I consider Monbrey a dear friend and I feel like he is going to hate me forever now. None of us are perfect, I've said and done things that I regret and wish I could take back, and I know he regrets it and wishes he could take it back. 2809I'll just give my opinions on Monbrey since Harry already stepped down.I'm split on Monbrey stepping down from his current position, but as of right now, I don't think he should step down from staff entirely. If its seen fit to demote him to a moderator / official, that's up to everyone else, but to me Monbrey has done a lot to repair the damage he's done, been open about the issues and how he's wanted to fix them, and is one of the people who openly gives the most support to this game in terms of actual costs that he took upon himself to help the game such as server costs and the amount of time he's taken out of his day to update the calculator and much more. I feel that he's done a lot to come out and be honest with us, but if people believe he should step down, then ultimately, I'll go with whatever choice you guys ultimately want to go with.

I was only a URPG Official for some time in the server that is known as Zoo But Stronger (hereafter referred to as ZBS), which was to my knowledge the second iteration of the Zoo after the first one went down. That is the kind of post I wish every staff member who was in the zoo would make. He explained his involvement, and takes responsibility of his faults. I had only known that during the most toxic times where members said awful things and targetted others that there were staff members (or would become staff members) who were there. Because none of you had come forward about anything going on, none of the toxicity, none of the harassment, none of the targetting, but (to my knowledge) were in the server, it gave me enough reason to believe you were not responsible to be staff and (again, I keep using this phrase, sorry) if we want to move forward properly from this, I believed this to be the correct action. Morru's post and the conversation happening are putting my mind at ease; I'm glad this conversation is happening, and I hope we can clear it out without needing to take anyone's staff positions away.

4702The issue with zoo (coming off from #hkim-and-monbrey ) was that there were incidents of URPG members being toxic and targetting other members (or just cyberbullying-- allegedly to the extent of sexual harassment) and the 4 members I mentioned were members in that chat. Nothing was said to anyone on URPG staff about the issues there, even when it directly involved URPG members and them attacking each other both in the zoo and in URPG. Thus far, only Morru has explained his involvement thouroughly. From my pov, it looks like Dash has been backpeddling and being more open about his involvement. Sari seemed to minimalize the issue by saying it's a "scapegoat" or that it really wasn't that bad as well as saying she wasn't really involved (which okay, but please explain more). Mikey, who has said he had been involved since the beginning, also minimalizes the issues saying they were taken care of and nothing more needed to happen. The problem with that, though, is that it wasn't taken care of, things were not okay between members of the URPG involving issues in the URPG, and no one came to staff (or even DMed a staff member) about it or said anything, even after becoming staff. This is why I thought those involved were too complacent to continue as staff. Based off of what Morru has said, I personally think he could remain with a just generic warning of "please come to staff if you know anything like this of this nature, it could be a DM to someone about an issue between members, or an annonymous message about what happened, or just mention something about it in #staff". Being in the dark when issues like this happen is dangerous, because those members' issues just bubble under the surface and eventually boil over

I wasn't around at the beginning of the first one, but I was in it for a good few months before it got accidentally deleted. I have very shaky memories of what happened in the first one, but I as others said my salt here and there because I've had anger issues for awhile, and I'm not going to lie and say that I haven't. I've said salty things in the second server too, but I've done my best to tone it down especially after I applied for staff. I'd still say salt occassionally, but I would never go to the point of making it my job to attack someone and harass them. If you don't believe me, then you can ask other members too. Its not something I'd ever want to do.I've told you the incidents of salt-throwing we've had. There was also the Gray issue where he said crude things about Ely, Smiles, and you, but Seppe, Ralin, Mikey, and others (I don't know if I was around or if I did anything, my meory is so shit) talked him down, had a serious chat with him, and eventually we resolved it and we did not believe it needed to be reported because it seemed like there was no reason to. I apologize if you felt there is a need to, it didn't seem like that at the time, otherwise I'm sure a majority of us would have brought it to staff.I do not recall ever hearing about Gray wanting to commit any sexual acts or rape a member. I can tell you for a fact I would have never let this slide either, because it shouldn't be something any member should say or threaten to do. I felt the same thing with what Weir said and do, and that's why I was for his 3 month ban and was perfectly fine with the length once it was decided. 7106also personal issues kept me from personally giving my defense about my participation in the zoo last night, but it's essentially what I think it was Mikey who said; in the same way I mentioned in #transition that I'm pretty bad at talking to people/initiating conversations/talking in general chats (which I'm working on), I also didn't participate much in the zoo. I will readily admit that while I wasn't staff, I did join the bandwagon of salting for the reasons that Dash mentioned. When the incident with Julio happened about his curation, I felt insecure on a) if I was in the right or in the wrong and b) if I had the power as expert curator to really do anything since I was new to the position, and vented in the zoo because of these feelings. This is the only time I can really remember having maybe ever been the cause of any potentially negative discussion about a member in the zoo. In the same way I looked up to Smiles and Ely then, I also looked up to people in the Zoo; I also put unnecessary pressure on myself to also "fit in," and formed bad habits about salting there from the first Zoo. Before I became staff, my zoo activity tapered for reasons I honestly can't remember, excepting times when I generally tried to intervene and calm things

I think that 3 months is a very long ban on its own, and extending the punishment should only be necessary if he steps out of line while banned, or if he does anything when he comes back. I would even advocate for a permanent ban then. But right now, I believe we've banned him for a proper amount of time, and I don't think extending it (for now) is needed. He spammed multiple easiest / simple stories for mons without the intention of ever incorporating grader advice, and when confronted, I believe he stated that he wasn't concerned with the advice, just wanted mons.
