Of all the towers in the castle those of the Ravenclaw House are the most 'out there' so to speak so there is a soft and constant whistle of wind through the shingles and cracks in the windows and doors. 'Rowena's Lullaby' is what the wind has affectionately been named by those sorted into her house. Bronze four poster bedframes are outfited with a lamp in the head board so that night reading can be done with ease. Each bed also comes with a 'back rest' pillow to also keep the studying student comfortable. Sky blue silk is the fabric and colour that drapes each student bed. Between each bed there is a large desk with a bookshelf in the wall above it. Also a small low dresser doubles as a night stand on the other side of each bed from the desk.

112 The Ravenclaw wireless is a mid-sized wireless set, about 19 inches tall with one single knob in the center. Its mesh speaker has been decorated with some wooden scroll work of the Ravenclaw crest. The edges are framed with lifted patterns all around, adding to the elegance of the whole. Both the crest and its frame have been accented with Ravenclaw colors, along with some eagle feathers that have been painted near the bottom of the front panel. On each of the radio's side panels are more painted feathers, almost as if they are floating down. On each feather, should one choose to touch them, can be felt a pattern of bumps and spaces characteristic of Braille, if one knows it. In Braille, each feather has a different name of a student who helped work on the radio. Ophelia, Gabrielle, Gabriel, Gareth, Claire, Warren, Cathal, Hephaesta, and anyone else who helped. On the rear panel is a rather impressive portrait of the Grey Lady and should one look on the bottom of the radio, there is a painting of a tarot card spread of all the major arcana. Next to it, in Braille, is a thank you to Professor Mopsus along with the date the wireless set was completed.

Steps swivel from one landing to another. The figures in the numerous paintings of all shapes and sizes that cover the castle stone walls look on to the ever entertaining hussle and bustle the moving stairs create.

270A newer addition to the stairwell chamber is a private elevator for those who are unable to make it up the stairs. A touch of a wand to the panel beside the elevator acts as a key to the locked device. 380 The Ravenclaw Common Room is one of the most airy rooms at Hogwarts. This wide, circular room's floor is covered in a deep, midnight blue carpet and the arched windows are hung with soft blue silk curtains. The high, domed ceiling carries a charm similar to the one in the Great Hall making stars glitter and move about on it reflecting the proper placements of the constellations according to the seasons. During the day, the Ravenclaw students have an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The room is furnished with comfortable tables and chair upholstered in midnight blue with white pinstripes and bookcases stand along the walls.

397 The noise begins to subside here as students get closer to the top of the stairwell. Looking up, one will usually see a few errant students dropping sparklers or stink-bombs directly down onto students on the lower levels, but it's not uncommon to be victimized by such trickery on this floor if one is especially unwary - say, a particularly distracted Hufflepuff with contraband candy. The scrape of the floors below and above create a contrast, as there is only one floor grinding above a person here, but many floors below, and the echoes of these sounds blend together uniquely here, giving a sense of a strange echo in the ears.
398 The trickery lessens substantially once someone has stepped further away from the stairwell. Mostly this is due to the fact that this floor is where the Prefect Bathroom and Ravenclaw Tower is. A large stained glass door leads to the bathroom in the northern wall. On the western wall there is a strange door, thick and sturdy, but with no handle or keyhole. Mounted on the knobless door is a bronze eagle knocker. When approached the Knocker gives a riddle and the door to the Ravenclaw Common room can only be opened with a correct answer to the riddle.

416White stone stairwells look peaceful and majestic for a whole minute. Once those sixty seconds have expired the whole stairwell, all seven stories of it come to life. Steps swivel from one landing to another. The figures in the numerous paintings of all shapes and sizes that cover the castle stone walls look on to the ever entertaining hussle and bustle the moving stairs create.

418A newer addition to the stairwell chamber is a private elevator for those who are unable to make it up the stairs. A touch of a wand to the panel beside the elevator acts as a key to the locked device. Built into the stairwell walls the lift goes up, down, left, right and/or diagonal to get those in the elevator to the appropriate landing.

438 The marble base of the grand staircase stands directly opposite a massive pair of oaken doors and flagstone courtyard beyond. Though the movement of the walkways from one landing to another may be glimpsed above, the heavy gloom shrouding the uppermost floors obscures the true height of the space. Braziers burning upon the walls cast their thin golden illumination upon glinting suits of armor that flank almost every oddly-spaced portal-- even a broom closet. The feature of greatest interest (at least to students) are the four enormous hourglasses housed in niches to either side of the courtyard doors.

457 Braziers that hang by chains from the beaks of griffin gargoyles that line the walls where they meet the high vaulted enchanted ceiling offer warm illuminating blazes. Four long tables are evenly spaced with the heads of the table at the north and south of the room. Each table has a cloth runner down the center and a plush rug underneath of the different House colors indicating to which house the table belongs.
458 The most westerly table is the Slytherin table. Beside them is the Ravenclaw table. The Gryffindor table is then between the Ravenclaw table to the west and the Hufflepuff table which is the most easterly table. One other table along the northern wall up on a dais for the Professors to sit at and look over all four of the other tables. Also on the dais is one lectern gilded in gold with an owl spreading it's wings at the top of the lectern. Candles line the tops of the owl's wings to illuminate anyone speaking at the lectern. A stool like protrusion comes out of the lectern as well as that's where the first years sit when they are sorted.

The main exit and entrance that leads to the Entry Hall is a large set of double wooden doors carved with vines and flanked by high stone pedestals each set with a small brazier above the stony 'H' carved in the pedestal. On the eastern wall is a much smaller door just next to the dais that's attached to the antechamber the first years come up from the lake through. Lastly one other door is set into the northwest corner behind the High Table.
460 As always high above within the obscured stone and wood cathedral like buttresses and crockets the outside weather is reflected in an illusion with all the sound and visuals of the weather, just without the actual effects of it.

Which, admittedly, he rarely does in the great hall, because it's noisy and crowded and frankly the benches aren't all that comfortable. But all of his usual secluded spots are occupied, much to his consternation, so he'd ended up back down here with a stack of parchments and an even bigger stack of books. He's camped out at one end of the Ravenclaw table, quill held frozen over a sheet of scribbled arithmancy formulae as he scans a page of his textbook.

When he finally spots the culprit, Alexander sighs in relief and walks towards the Ravenclaw table, ignoring the sneers that came from the Slytherin table. He slides into the bench across from Tavish, his back facing the Slytherin table and a sly grin on his face, "Hey there." He says innocently.

For the most part, she's quiet and unobtrusive, until suddenly she slams her forehead down on the book and nearly yells, "I DON'T GET IT!" She beats her head a couple of times against the book before sighing out and just remaining in that position with a groan.

Finally, he frowns, and turns back to his parchment, crossing out several lines of numbers. "I thought I was onto something there," he says. "Back to the drawing board." He flips to a fresh parchment and starts to write, but his quill stops abruptly against the paper when Mackenzie's voice cuts through the relatively low din of the great hall. Too late, he pulls his quill away, but there's already a large blob of ink on it. He sighs and flips to another piece. "She's in your House," he says to Alexander, voice low. "You should go make sure she's alright." He makes a little 'go, go' shooing gesture at his friend.

684Rolling his eyes at being given the silent treatment, Alexander leans on the table with his elbow, his chin in his open palm as he awaits for Tavish to finish being his nerdy self. When the male finally starts mumbling to himself, Alexander's eyes flick back to him, raising an eyebrow in question. He completely ignores the groan that comes from behind him, a little to the left, and would have continued to ignore the sounds if it was not for Tavish's sudden shooing. He lets out a long sigh of breath, leaning back and turning slightly to turn towards the owner of the groans, Mackenzie, "Oi? You're good? Good." He turns back around, waving a hand as he speaks to Tavish, "She's fine."

688Mackenzie raises her head upon being spoken to, looking about confusedly before realizing who the speaker was. She gives Alexander a strange look for his concern and stares for a long moment before turning her attention back to her books. She sighs at the Transfiguration textbook and closes it, rubbing her hand over the cover softly.

690 For a long moment, Tavish does nothing but level Alexander with an unimpressed glare, before he closes his own book and stands from the table, circling around it so he can instead seat himself across from Mackenzie at the Slytherin table. Not exactly the first time he's sat here, but still. It feels a little weird. "Are you alright?" he asks, genuinely (unlike, for instance, Alexander).

692Unfazed by Tavish's glare, Alexander simply continues to grin back until Tavish suddenly stands up, the grin turning into a groan as Alexander quite literally lays his upper body on the table, arms stretching out and curling around the other side of the table like a child throwing a tantrum. Knowing where Tavish is heading, Alexander grumbles to himself, causing a few first year Ravenclaws to turn and give him weird looks. Alexander levels them with a glare that surpasses the glare he was given earlier, causing the kids to squeak and scoot down further the table. Alexander stays where he is, not wanting to be thrown into whatever study troubles that are happening.

694Looking over at Tavish's approach, Mackenzie nods singularly. "Transfiguration is just getting to me today," she says in a reasonable tone of voice, "I need to take a break for awhile." She gives the Ravenclaw a lopsided grin, adding, "The answers will probably come to me in a dream." She reaches up, running her hand through her hair over her head and spreading the long, straight strands about her shoulders roguishly.

"Sure, I suppose." He stands back up and returns to the Ravenclaw table so he can gather his things together, sliding them carefully into his bag before he grabs Alexander by the collar. "Get up, you lazy arse," he mutters, all but bodily dragging his friend to his feet. "A walk around the lake?" he asks, to Mackenzie. No, Alex, you don't get a say.

He was nearly about to say so but cut himself off from the confrontation when Tavish made his way back to the Ravenclaw table to collect his crap. He gazes at Tavish with a raised eyebrow, "Mackenzie get under your skin alr-ack!" Alexander chokes his reply, the dragging of his collar grabbing him by surprise, "Easy, man, you trying to kill me." He growls, his voice low and nearly dark, as he climbs off the bench and stands at full height. His facial expression turns into one of boredom as he looks up into the air for help or death, but follows Tavish nonetheless.

"This'll be interesting," she murmurs to herself, taking a deep breath and plastering a smile on her face. "That sounds nice," she says to Tavish's suggestion congenially. She pulls her scarf out of her bag and wraps it around her neck, pinning her long hair down beneath it for extra warmth. Slipping her gloves on one hand after another, she pauses, waiting for Tavish and Alexander to lead the way.

"She's in your House, you could have a little bit more sympathy," he mutters, then flashes Mackenzie a tight, but genuine, smile. As he says this, he not-so-subtly elbows Alexander in the side as they walk towards the double doors leading out of the great hall.

965 Braziers that hang by chains from the beaks of griffin gargoyles that line the walls where they meet the high vaulted enchanted ceiling offer warm illuminating blazes. Four long tables are evenly spaced with the heads of the table at the north and south of the room. Each table has a cloth runner down the center and a plush rug underneath of the different House colors indicating to which house the table belongs.
966 The most westerly table is the Slytherin table. Beside them is the Ravenclaw table. The Gryffindor table is then between the Ravenclaw table to the west and the Hufflepuff table which is the most easterly table. One other table along the northern wall up on a dais for the Professors to sit at and look over all four of the other tables. Also on the dais is one lectern gilded in gold with an owl spreading it's wings at the top of the lectern. Candles line the tops of the owl's wings to illuminate anyone speaking at the lectern. A stool like protrusion comes out of the lectern as well as that's where the first years sit when they are sorted.
967 There are three sets of doors in the Great Hall. The main exit and entrance that leads to the Entry Hall is a large set of double wooden doors carved with vines and flanked by high stone pedestals each set with a small brazier above the stony 'H' carved in the pedestal. On the eastern wall is a much smaller door just next to the dais that's attached to the antechamber the first years come up from the lake through. Lastly one other door is set into the northwest corner behind the High Table.
968 As always high above within the obscured stone and wood cathedral like buttresses and crockets the outside weather is reflected in an illusion with all the sound and visuals of the weather, just without the actual effects of it.

1005 As in the rest of the ground floor, the ceilings here soar high above the students heads. The corridor is wide, the same flagstones of the entry hall continue here, and the columns that rise and arch over head to meet in the middle form frames for heavy wooden doorways, or embrasures filled with sturdy wooden benches. Despite the length and chill of the gray stone, it is brightly lit from the window that fills the terminating wall. Diamond paned, with gothic arch styling at the top, the window sends occasional rainbows down the hall when the sun shines through the prisms just right.

1044 A path leads from the Gates through to the huge bridge that travels across the lake towards the Hogwarts entry hall from here. The otherwise green hill isn't very steep, however, almost like it was designed for long walks and for the carriages. Another, steeper and well-trodden, path leads down to the lake shore and the groundskeeper's cabin, in a roundabout way to the west, while the lake itself is visible over cliffs hundreds of feet tall to the South.
1045 Across the bridge and just outside the entry hall is the courtyard itself, a large rectangular area with roofed walkways along the outside, with benches to sit and arched open-air windows to give a view over the lake. Inside these walkways is a central open square just outside the doors to the castle, with a couple of larger benches to give students a place to sit.

1062 Extending from the main gate of the castle's courtyard, the road winds through a seemingly-wild parkland of tall grass and wildflowers. The grass is thick and growing long. Thriving in the beautiful dreariness Scottish weather is known for. The leas and fields between small copses of trees and ancient standing stones offer areas to gather with friends or even find some solitude. Natural seating arrangements can be found atop a stone, or the large roots of trees, not to mention in the trees. To the southwest, the glow of reflected light from the lake gleams, water lapping against the sharp rise of the visible cliffs to the base of the castle itself.
1063 More formal gardens crown the campus to the southeast, where a short walk down western path brings one to a pumpkin patch and eventually to what appears to be a gameskeeper's cottage. Looming darkly in the northern background is the Forbidden Forest, a sinister mix of forbidding and alluring.

1106 A path leads from the Gates through to the huge bridge that travels across the lake towards the Hogwarts entry hall from here. The otherwise green hill isn't very steep, however, almost like it was designed for long walks and for the carriages. Another, steeper and well-trodden, path leads down to the lake shore and the groundskeeper's cabin, in a roundabout way to the west, while the lake itself is visible over cliffs hundreds of feet tall to the South.
1107 Across the bridge and just outside the entry hall is the courtyard itself, a large rectangular area with roofed walkways along the outside, with benches to sit and arched open-air windows to give a view over the lake. Inside these walkways is a central open square just outside the doors to the castle, with a couple of larger benches to give students a place to sit.

1124 This narrow crescent of grainy sand and smooth small beach stones spans east to west between the cliff face to the east and the large fortified stone campus perimeter wall to the west that runs north to south until it runs many yards into the water of the Black Lake itself and further off to the north. The only spot along the shore that isn't given completely to a topography of rocks and roots, the latter of which extend right out into the lake, it's a commonplace sight to see students hopping about on the rocks or skipping stones across the water.

He growls loud enough for the two to hear, looking up and blinking in surprise to see that they were the same height.

His hands are in his jacket pockets as he walks next to Mackenzie, matching her slow pace. "A chance of physical viewpoint can oftentimes change your mental viewpoint."

Otherwise what kind of Parkinson would I be?" He mutters, putting his arms behind his head, his gaze focusing on the sky as makes his own pace slower than the two chatter boxes, knowing otherwise he would quite literally run them over.

One hand grasps the strap of the bag on her shoulder, the other sways comfortably at her side. Her bright green eyes search Tavish out, looking for something she may or may not find.

1241 "Hardly my intent. It's just the truth." Tavish steps over a piece of driftwood washed up on the shore, head turning to track something out on the water with his eyes. They come upon a large rock half-sunken into the sand and he stops at it, frowning slightly. "Carefully curated blandness is a successful method of social camouflage. Wouldn't you say?" He looks away from the water then, pale eyes focusing on Mackenzie for a heartbeat or two before he breaks contact.

He removes his hands from the back of his hand, stuffing him in his pockets as the wind nips at his exposed forearm and chest. "Social camouflage, huh?" He mutters, chuckling under his breath. Having already knowing anything and everything about Tavish, Alexander would not consider the shorter male to be bland. Rather than voicing this, of course, Alexander stays silent. He has to keep up the "bad boy" air around him, especially in front of Mackenzie!

"No more than the other Houses, I suspect," he replies. "And 'disguise' would be the more accurate word. Camouflage isn't solely the tool of the fearful." He walks silently for a time, pace still leisurely, before he looks back at Mackenzie. "What about you, then? Alexander doesn't speak overly much of his Housemates."

Ravenclaw is a House of some of the most intelligent students in Hogwarts, the House is definitely not below any other. There was a reason why he does not speak much regarding those within his House.

With two steps, Alexander shows up beside his friend, his eyes now facing forward as he speaks, "The Sorting Hat does not make mistakes, at least none that I have seen. "Shame to hear, though. Who knows what she might be capable of if given the same chances as the rest of Slytherin."

Alexander stays facing forward but his eyes flicker to the two beside him before he looks back forward, continuing speaking after the small pause, "The girl may not have friends in Slytherin, but I truly doubt the other houses would be so narrow minded and turn their back on her. They are usually much more open minded than the average Slytherin." A grin plays at his lips, emphasizing the word average as though it was a weapon.

He disbands the Magijugend, gets rid of SCUMS..." She shakes her head slowly.

He removes his hands from his pockets to stretch his arms above his head, his voice turning into a lighter tone as he speaks again, "Does this change of scenery helping you, Mackenzie?" He asks, letting one of his arms fall and slip back into his pocket as the other covers a yawn that escapes Alexander's lips.

He rubs his arm for a moment, grumbling under his breath, before pulling his arm back and slamming a fist into Tavish's arm, although not nearly as hard. "Now you know to ask rather than assume." He states with a firm nod, grinning at Tavish.

1396 In a turret off of the main Ravenclaw Tower is another tower for the Boy's Dormitory. Of all the towers in the castle those of the Ravenclaw House are the most 'out there' so to speak so there is a soft and constant whistle of wind through the shingles and cracks in the windows and doors. 'Rowena's Lullaby' is what the wind has affectionately been named by those sorted into her house. Bronze four poster bedframes are outfited with a lamp in the head board so that night reading can be done with ease. Each bed also comes with a 'back rest' pillow to also keep the studying student comfortable. Sky blue silk is the fabric and colour that drapes each student bed. Between each bed there is a large desk with a bookshelf in the wall above it. Also a small low dresser doubles as a night stand on the other side of each bed from the desk.

1413 Madame Puddifoots is more or less known as snog heaven by couples wishing to have a place to hold hands and smooch more than eat and drink. In fact, the promise of snogging is the only thing that could induce any self-respecting man to enter a place that looks as if someone's wand threw up lace and chintz in various shades of pink over the entire place. The seats are puffs of lace and chintz, the table clothes are confections of lace and chintz, the curtains... *Everything* is lace and chintz. Gossipy portraits on the walls reside comfortably in ornate, golden frames, to match the curtain rods and tassels that tie back the curtains. The tea is served in little porcelain pots with tea cups painted with sprays of roses and baby's breath and gilded rims to the cups and saucers. And Madame Puddifoots crowning touch? Animated golden cherubs that flit back and forth, sprinkling the trysting couples with golden confetti.

Most of the tables are set up for just two. But surely he could pull one over. Catching sight of Mackenzie, she blinks. It's filling up quicker than usual. She casts a hesitant glance at Tom.

You can then have it in a more ... comfortable setting?" He stands up when Mackenzie comes in and he gestures to one of the empty chairs from the next table over that he pulls over. "Please." The less this looks like a date to Oberon, Tom hopes it'll make it less likely to get a ribbing from his friend. "It is very good tea. You should try it."

1480Hogsmeade weekends are not QUITE as exciting for young Billy Marlowe as they are for some of the other students, especially since the muggle-born Gryffindor lives in the village at the Three Broomsticks with his sister when not at Hogwarts, but he still tags along with his friends none the less. Excuses to be in Madame Puddifoots are a tad bit more of a stretch for the proud little lion boy. What brings Billy into the lacey nightmare disguised as a tea shop is anyone's guess, but a good wager would be that he spotted Oberon walking into the building and he couldn't miss the opportunity to have a bit of a laugh at his self-claimed nemesis. The door of the teashop tinkles in announcement of Billy's arrival, the youngsters eyes scanning the tea shop and settling on Oberon and the rest of the Slytherins and casting a pleasant smile in their direction. "Nice to see Hogwarts out supporting the local businesses," he says in a chipper voice before moving over to a table as near to the Slytherins as he can get.

1482Samira lowers her gaze at Riddle's suggestion. "I might try that. Yes." Outside of the Domestics Club, there isn't really a place to brew tea. But this isn't turning out well. Her hands tighten around her cup and she glances up at Oberon with narrowed eyes. "You think Tom a child? An infant?" she asks in a low, quiet tone before Billy's chipper voice breaks in. Quite a contrast. She glances at him without a word.

The Ravenclaw pauses to take in the decor, and then the grouping of other students, botch of which gets a faint, unhappy twitch of Tavish's mouth, but it's obviously not enough to put him off entirely because he slides into a chair at an unoccupied table and continues to talk. Or argue, maybe, by the sounds of it. "Concentrated starthistle essence isn't a breakthrough, it's a gamble. You'll throw off the entire--" His voice drops off, turning flat. "Why are there cherubs."

Another attempt to dodge Oberon's ribbing. "You look very nice to day Lestrange. Here, let me pour you some of this tea. It's quite good." Mackenzie's cousin is rather getting ignored as much as possible. The only sign that he did actually here Oberon's great proposal for a party is what he says next to Mackenzie. "You don't happen to have access to family photo albums? Oberon in a nappy is something I would love to see." Blackmail! But then his ultimate hope of veering Oberon's attention away from this NOT-date arrives. "Never thought I would ever be pleased to see him." Is murmured quietly to his table before he smiles genteely at Billy. "You know us, we enjoy patroning the better of the business." Yes, Tom just said the most miserable place (to him) in the village is better than say, the Three Broomsticks. Further relief when the cherub that kept shooting at him finds a new target in the one questioning their existance. He sighs with relief and then lifts up the tea pot with it poised to serve Mackenzie.

1511Alexander follows closely behind Tavish, clearly arguing feverishly that potency is better, before noticing exactly where they're going, "Wait, Tav-" The door nearly slams into his face, Alexander barely catching it, but it does cut off his words. Tavish continues to enter this pink filled purgatory. He growls under his breath, but follows Tavish as the shorter teen goes to sit down, attempting to get his attention before he does, but it's too late. Tavish sits down. There is no way out. Alexander sits down with a groan, not even bothering to listen to the point his friend is making, but raises an eyebrow at his question. Leaning across the table, he asks, "You've never been he-- Scratch that, I know you've never been here before." He sighs lightly, shaking his head, before muttering, "This is a place to snog, why did you decide to come here." His eyes slide across the room to the Slytherins and poor Gryffindor that is most certainly going to be eaten alive.

"What I think is that it was already bloody creepy to see a Seventh Year tossing herself at a Fifth Year. But now you drag him in //here//? That's just desperate, Prince." Oberon glances in the direction of Riddle's gaze to his cousin, Mackenzie. She gets a respectful nod in greeting: family solidarity and all that. Billy, as usual, is ignored.

She licks her lips and straightens her back, clearing her throat once and forcing herself to relax. She slides a cup out for Riddle to fill with tea before focusing on Oberon. "It's hardly throwing yourself if you're perfectly well invited," she says, "And what's wrong with it? They're only two years apart, my own parents are five."

The moment such words escape her lips, she seems to freeze, staring up at Oberon.

"Don't be absurd," he replies, and levels Alexander with an obstinate look that clearly says how much he thinks his friend is full of it. "Why would anyone in their right mind want to do something like that here? Wouldn't the atmosphere be entirely off-putting?" He pours Alexander a cup, while he's at it, and then sets the pot aside. "Look, see, this is clearly just some sort of social meet-up spot," he says as he lifts his cup to his mouth, motioning with his eyes towards where the other Hogwarts students are sat. And then he gets showered with gold confetti. "...I believe I am beginning to see your point."

He for once doesn't use surnames (like Billy) because that could now get confusing with two Lestranges in the Tea Shop. Then more insulting and provocative banter follows and the cool genteel demeanor blinks out and then back after the first two words. "That's enough, everyone sit down and enjoy some tea. That is the only reason we are here. The only reason." He waves Alexander and Tavish over, the less this looks like a date the more he hopes that things will settle and they'll just focus on moking the place instead of the people.

He's ready to continue on with Mackenzie, but then Samira brings out the barbs. Oberon's glare turns back to her, boring in her. "You've forgotten yourself, Prince." His voice is cold as ice. He gives Tom a sad shake of his head. "She's really got you spun, Riddle." He reaches over to another table, snagging the chair and sliding it over to join Tom and Samira. Hope no one was using it. As he sits, he leans close to Samira, murmuring something in her ear.

She gives a short laugh, though she looks terribly uncertain.

She doesn't answer, but settles back in her chair. "Apologies," she murmurs at last in a soft tone. She takes a small sip of tea with a glance to Riddle, before her eyes flit to Mackenzie.

I have no mind or desire for the sort of relationships that either of the Lestranges at this table are assuming is going on. So while I very much appreciate the support. If we could not fuel him with any idea that he might be right, it would be appreciated. Thank you. Would you like some cream?" He slides the little pink china milk container closer to Mackenzies reach.

1562Alexander stares at Tavish with a bored expression, finding himself not surprised that he would deny the truth. He simply leans against the table, his chin against his fist, watching Tavish pour both their teas. He keeps the look of boredom until gold confetti sprinkles on both of them, causing him to instead to glare past Tavish. Which was slightly comical, considering the gold specks all over him. "This is why you should listen to me more often, I'm more intelligent than you take me for." Alexander shakes his head, chuckling at Tavish. He picks up his tea and goes to take a sip when Riddle, waves them over. Raising an eyebrow in amusement, Alexander turns to Tavish with a grin, "Let's make this not date into a real not date, want to meet Mackenzie's friends?" He asks, leaning across the table eagerly.

1564Tavish stares despondently at his tea. "I thought it was just a shop," he says, quietly, as he pushes a few pieces of confetti off of the table with his fingertips. It drifts slowly to the floor, which is about where Tavish himself would like to be, right now. "The tea is really good though?" This doesn't seem to improve the situation, and he groans when Alexander twists the knife. "Must we?" He's already shifting his teacup and saucer into one hand so he can pick up the teapot and transition over to the other side of the teashop, settling into a table near Riddle instead. "Hello," is literally the best he can manage right now.

She looks over at Tavish and Alexander's approach and closes her eyes to keep from rolling them. She opens her mouth to respond to Oberon but immediately closes it again, literally biting her lip to keep herself in check be giving Samira a bit of a pathetic look.

1597Samira doesn't so much as blink as Riddle clarifies the nature of their relationship to the group. She merely sips her tea, listening with detached calm. She glances back at Oberon as he speaks, but this time she remains silent. Lowering her gaze, she sets her empty cup on its saucer.

His young features twist slightly as he shakes his head and says to himself, "No way is this place better than the Three Broomsticks." With that he pushes himself to his feet and then looking toward Tavish and Alexander he gestures toward the pot on his table. "You're welcome to it if you want it," he says toward them. With that, the young Gryffindor turns on his heel and heads out of the shop.

Alexander blinks before swinging his head back to the Slytherin table, Tavish actually going over to them. He gives him a deadpan stare, a hand wiping down his face as he holds back a groan. "I was joking. That's all. Joking." He mutters underneath his breath as he picks up the tea in one hand and the saucer in the other, quickly covering the distance and sliding across from Tavish once again. He sips his tea as he resists the need to punch Tavish in the arm again.

1621Carol's strategy was simple, but elegant. Look pretty, sit alone in a place for amourous people, study. She could project an image of intelligence (or at least nerdiness) without looking like she didn't want to be bothered. And, if somehow this failed to attract the sort of person she'd be interested in, then no time would be wasted as she would still get some studying done. Besides, the tea wasn't bad here, honestly. It was nice to have something of a different variety.

1625Riddle nods his head slowly, "I'm very aware Oberon. Thank you." The fact that they are in public among those not exactly in their little codray has Tom very willing to de-escalate the hostilities and truly, "Let's just have tea and talk about plans for the winter break?" His gaze sweeps the growing group and he picks out the one looking even more miserable then he is right now. "Alexander, do you have any plans yet?"

1627Tavish meets Mackenie's closed eyes with a small smile, but says nothing to her, only nudging the chair opposite himself out from underneath the table for Alexander to join him. "Yes, you're hilarious--," he begins, but then pauses when he's being spoken to by an unfamiliar younger student. "--oh, thank you." He pauses, sips his tea, and stares contemplatively at the extra pot that is apparently now within his care.

1629Samira glances across the table at Riddle with a bit of a smile. "The tea has gone cold, I think. And this place will start to fill up with those not quite so interested in tea." She sneaks a hesitant peek at Oberon before glancing around at the others.

1631Mackenzie drinks her tea quietly now until she finishes it and sets the cup down on the saucer in front of her. "This has been fantastic," she says, "But I think I need to head out now." She gives Riddle a sincere smile. "Thank you for allowing me to join you for a time, Mister Riddle," she says. Pushing herself up out of her chair, she takes a moment to redress in her coat and scarf before giving Samira a slight wave. "It was good seeing you again, Miss Prince."

1637Oberon flashes Samira a smile of disturbingly genuine warmth, considering he was berating her just a minute ago. "Yeah, the parade of snoggers. This place..." He looks around the tea shop and gives a shudder as a golded cupid flutters by. "I hope it isn't contagious. I think I can already feel doilies growing on my arse."

1679Alexander nods in agreement, "I am hilarious, thank you for finally noticing." He mummers into his tea, smiling slightly at the debate most likely occuring within Tavish's head. He turns at the sound of his name to meet Riddle's eyes, the smile transforming into a bored look as he raises his eyebrow. Rather than answering right away, his eyes slide over to Samira and Mackenzie, before turning back to Riddle, "Yes." He replies with a short, curt nod before rising from the table. He throws down some coins before, quite literally, grabbing Tavish by the collar and dragging him out of the teashop with a dismissive wave.
