This was not immature, nor anything of the sort, he was just frustrated, which you would be as well if you were forced to resign a game because you touched a piece shortly before realizing that touching said piece would result in your losing a rather publicized game that you're the best in the world at. Maybe he should come out and apologize, however that doesn't mean that this game was the same kind of instance. In that game, he did intentionally touch the piece, then realized that his intention had worked against him. In this game, his intent was actually to move the rook on the seventh rank for a check, then perpetual, however he touched the wrong square, which resulted in his piece on the eighth rank, which was immediately followed by Carlsen20 mating him. I run into people all of the time that say that they prefer a board that they can actually see and touch three dimensional pieces, rather than a virtual one where it is a mouse, or a tap of the finger that results in a piece moving, for that exact reason. A square of this size on a 3-4" screen is very small when compared to the space between it and the one adjacent. This mistake is very easy to make, and anyone could do it; obviously even the world champion. That's why there is a take back last move button in this game that he has helped to develop. You say he should act as an example? He is! He's saying that a mistake is just that, and it's okay to fix a mistake in the delivery of his moves! Any true sportsman would recognize that Carlsen should be allowed to at least deliver the move the way he intended.

I'm sure that there are people out there that would really like to meet Magnus, and artificially build up their score by constantly undoing their moves, and trying new ones until they're able to beat Magnus' computer program. This is perfectly legitimate; this is casual, not a tournament, which you seemed keen on pulling rules from. There is also not a timer in this game, so Magnus is not limited to any amount of time. This is an application intended for the use of the general public to recreate the skill of the top chess player in the world, not a very professional tournament like environment. If you don't like what he does, then think of it like this; HE HAS NO OBLIGATION TO POST THESE VIDEOS. NOTHING says that you have to know that his happened. He could have left this video file to rot on his computer for the rest of his life, however he chose to post it despite this mistake, because he was likely expecting that people would recognize that it was a simple mistake to make, where he tapped the wrong square in a casual game.

This would not happen in a tournament where he was actually touching physical pieces.

Like I've said, I've kept up with this chain, and I have not seen any new information coming from you since close to the beginning of this thread. Since, it has been the deprecating blows I've referred to several times, and you taking the role of a broken record. I theorize that the reason that you've not responded to my post is that I had rebuttal for each of the arguments you'd been using since day one, and I was relatively sound in my delivery (save that discussion of God and Karma), so you have nothing to argue. I feel you've just been avoiding confronting the actual points I made close to a month ago. Furthermore, would Magnus actually even be proud of what he sees from this chain? Would the poor demonstration of the chess community be something worth being publicized? Last  I checked, the majority of the chess community didn't neglect the necessity of new points, or tell others that their arguments were void, or that they were "totally demolished," or maybe I just haven't been around long enough.
