However, If you count my full experience, I have been closely engaged with the Lakeside Valley Police Department as in doing anything I could to get in. Due to bias opinions and corrupt command back in the LSVPD, I was never able to become an LEO back then. I was able to be a secretary, do countless ridealongs, even did bounty hunter-type work for Brody and James. I have done outstanding work so far in ECSO. This includes:

30I want to join the Erie County Marshals because I believe I can be an excellent asset to the ECMS due to my outstanding work within LSVPD and ECSO. I can bring my experiences and knowledge from my law enforcement officer and my correctional officer careers to benefit the Marshals and bring all my outstanding work to guide the agency in the correct direction. I also believe I can bring all of my gang knowledge and experience to the Marshals as I know how gangs work. I know how they strive and function. I believe I can put all of my time and energy into investigations with the Marshals. I want to be able to take apart gangs, shut them down and disable them. Gangs have always been around, and I have always been involved with a gang as I know exactly how they work, and I know for a fact I can benefit the Marshals with this information and assets.

109I do not like to believe I am better than anyone, however, I do feel that I am more qualified than most people. In my time within Law Enforcement, I have proven time again that I have the dedication and attitude required to work well within any situation. In my time within The Department of Corrections, I spent an exceptional amount of time invested in the training of new cadets eager to begin their law enforcement careers. I have also sacrificed an abnormally large amount of time staying up late into the night on duty within DOC when others were off duty or simply asleep. Upon joining The Kelley's Island/Lakeside Valley State Police, I have served longer than many people that have signed on in the past, and in my time, I feel I have proven myself to be a very capable officer when placed in any situation. As stated above, i have served within CID which taught me the ways of specialised law enforcement, and my time in Internal Affairs taught me to not slander with my paperwork, added onto that i have been apart of both the LSVSO, the LSVPD, and the ECSO for a combined time of over one and a half year, putting myself in a position of knowing exactly how law enforcement functions. I am of a strong mental state, and it takes alot more that a few hits to stress me out something which i also believe would be beneficial when working with the Marshals.
220What are your Law Enforcement Goals?: Currently my goal is to become a Deputy Marshal to try myself on new challenges. In the future, i believe my goals will be based on either obtaining a command position at a later time within the ECSO, or continuing with the ECMS.
221What do you think the Marshals do on a daily basis?: On a daily basis, i believe that the Marshals are primarily on high alert looking for wanted fugitives, assisting the Erie County Sheriff's Office with prisoner transports, as well as assisting the ECSO DTU and SERT in their operations. When the land is more peaceful, i believe that marshals stay on standby for any situations to appear, or for reports to come in of a fugitive in county.

243I would like the chance to join The ECMS for multiple reasons.  First, being that I would like to join The Marshals because I feel that it is a great department, and offers a lot of opportunity to learn new skills, work as a team and defend the citizens of Erie County in new ways that have never been done before.  Second, I would like to join ECMS because I think with my past experience and commitment to the unit I would bring a lot of skill and have a very positive impact on my peers.  Another reason I would like to join the Erie County Marshal Service is because I would like to be a good role model for members of law enforcement, and take lead in situations that new LEOs might not know how to handle, and be able to quickly and effectively get the job done.  I would also like to join ECMS because I would really like to learn from my team-mates and learn new skills that would allow us to not only effectively work as a team, but also bring a good name for the unit and the new coming State Police.  Lastly, I would like to join ECMS because I know that if I am accepted, I will work harder than ever to prove to people that their job can be done right, and I am committed to helping grow the unit and show people that if they work, they can achieve their goals.

245I can bring many things to the ECMS, but I am going to focus on some of the key skills that I possess which would allow me to excel in the unit.  Primarily, I am very good at using teamwork to my advantage.  I have a lot of experience working with a team of people, and I know the people skills required to keep a unit running smoothly and effectively.  I also know how to take that teamwork and put it towards goals, and using it to achieve those goals no matter how small they are.  I know how to treat my co-workers with the respect they deserve, so that we can get the job done right…the first time.  Other than teamwork, I also possess the skills it takes to be a good Marshal.  I am a very quick thinker and I know how to stay calm and have a level head in stressful situations, especially when most normal people would start to feel stressed out, I love to put myself in that position and excel.  I also possess very good shooting/marksmen abilities and I know that when the time comes whether its keeping a member of DOJ safe or Helping the ECSO, I’ll be the one that people will want to have their back and keep eyes out even when it’s a massive gunfight. During my time in DTU is when there were many gangs causing massive gunfights, and I knew how to keep myself and a fellow LEOs safe and take out the assailants that were assaulting the SO.  Lastly, I possess very good radio communication skills.  I know that even when it’s a stressful situation I can make correct call outs and remain calm on the radio, because when one person starts to freak out on radio all of the comms become cluttered and it gets messy. 249The marshals are a really cool unit, and they offer an LEO experience that no other department offers. Some of the main duties consist of : Fugitive Transport, Execution of Arrest/Breach and Clear/Search Warrants, Apprehension of BOLO’s and APB’s, Assisting in Regular Police Duties when the SO requires out help, Assisting the ECSO in Highly Volatile Situations (E.g. Hostage’s and Bank Robberies), Assisting the ECSO in Life threatening situations (10-33’s and Officers in need of assistance), Protection of Political Figures, Judges, Key Witnesses and Plaintiffs.

251My name is Aidan, I am 19 and I graduated last June.  In my daily life I am a pilot in training; therefore, I fly 4 hours + 4 days a week. I really like it since it has given me many communication and quick thinking skills.  When I am not flying, during the day I will be working.  My job is to build and fix anaesthetic machines; this helps me with customer support and troubleshooting.  Lastly, on certain week nights and Saturdays, I play competitive rugby.  This helps me with team work and strategies in Arma and my daily life. If I don’t have rugby a certain day, I will be in the gym making myself better so that when I do have games I am better and more prepared than my opponents.  Lastly, I play video games, I know it seems I have a busy schedule but I actually still have time to put in many hours daily into games, and hopefully into enforcing the law.

265What are your previous Law Enforcement Achievements?: My previous Law Enforcement achievements are as follows. My most recent achievement in Law Enforcement was when I went from DoC and worked my way up to Head Lieutenant of SWAT on a different Island before I caught my plane ticket back to Erie County. I before that I was a Detective and a Senior Detective at two different Islands, and under Brody Hicks I was a Corporal in Patrol before I resigned due to having life issues and not having the time to go on duty.

267Why do you want to join the Marshals?: I want to join the Marshals because I miss being able to go on duty and enforce the law and being able to build relations with the civilians of Erie County, the Marshal Services interest me because it is something new and something that I have a chance to be a founding father of and make a name for myself at the same time.

269Why should we let you in the Marshals?: I should be let into the Marshals because of the the Skillset/past experience I can bring to the unit. Along with my skillset and past experience I would be able to relate and work with my co-workers in the unit. I am open to learning new things and that is what makes me diverse because I am always open to learning something new when it comes to making me more effective.

271What are your Law Enforcement Goals?: My goals in Law Enforcement is to build up a name for myself and bring a new aspect into the Force, and make The Marshals the branch of SO that appeals to people and makes them say “I love the Marshals” or things along that line.

273What do you think the Marshals do on a daily basis?: The Marshals on a daily basis consist of Prisoner Transports Protecting court officials and witness protection. The Marshals would also help if a Sheriff’s Officers life is in Danger or requested by the SO for help.

275Tell us about yourself (IRL): In real life I am a 17 year old student, that means that I am currently  a Junior in High School. As of now I am currently looking for a job as well so I can start making money for myself and work towards earning my first vehicle. Since I have a surplus of time on my hands I usually watch movies, hang out with friends/family, or play games. I also like to work with my dad at his Shop because I really like working with cars because there is a lot of things that go into making a vehicle work and something about all that kind of interest me. When I go to College I am going to attempt to major in either Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Animation because I really like working with technology and all three of those fields really interest me. After I graduate from college I am hoping that I can find a job in making Computer Software since the field for that has been growing in recent years since technology is widespread now.

284I have a long history with the police department, however I have never wished to get above corporal in it due to outside life problems. Back in November/December I left the SO to join the DA’s office where I worked beside SIU.
285Why do you want to join the Marshals?
286I want to join the Marshals because I want to do something other than normal street patrol, even though I do love it I've been doing it for a very long time. Working with the DA’s office for 3 months, I loved what they did and stood for, and although this is completely different it's an opportunity for me to get out of routine police life. I think this a great opportunity to get further my law enforcement career and meet some great people along the way.
287Why should we let you in the Marshals?:
288I'm a very team oriented person. I've gained these skills throughout different game factions, but also in the real world. Back about a 10 months ago I worked undercover in the police department (during Lakeside times). This operation was confidential and only a very select few knew about it, and to this day there as been no public announcement or records of it. It was overseen by the police chief, DA, and Ast. DA. During that time, we made numerous busts involving corrupt officers and illegal police issued gun trafficking. The operation fell apart after Kieth Buckly, the district attorney at the time, resigned from all positions due to real life problems. I believe I have the skills, knowledge, and experience to join the Marshals Service.
289What are your Law Enforcement Goals?:
290My goals are not very big for this. I do have a busy outside life as well as a development position, so I'm not one that wishes to head an entire department. However, I am free enough to become a Sr. and that's what I would plan on growing into some day.
291What do you think the Marshals do on a daily basis?:
292On a daily basis the Marshals assist in hunting down fugitives and dealing with high profile situations. They also work alongside the police force to gain a good reputation and image with them, something past groups have failed to do.

294I’m a pretty chill guy. I have a full time job, and going into the Air Force for intelligence. I currently live in Dallas, TX and am 19 years old. I go to school part time, but finish here in a couple weeks.
