143After our relaunch on April 1st we have worked on a few updates for all the modpacks. We have had a bit of confusion within the community with hotfixes, patches and other forms of mod pack updates. Here I will be explaining our new system for updating modpacks so you guys don't get confused on the version you were playing and the new version that is available. We currently have every modpack on a 2.0 system or 1.0 system. This means anytime we update from 2.0 to 2.1 it is a huge update and we try to make it something worth your while. So we are now introducing a 2.0.1 or 1.0.0 version system. This means you guys will have more information on what is happening and know what version you are currently using.<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Mod Pack Updates Overview</span></b><br/>When we update a modpack it can be for a ton of different reasons. Some of them are to fix a game breaking crash, a simple client side update, multiplayer fixes. Then there are biggers updates when we add a ton of new mods and theme it around something for that certain update. These updates usually contain updated mods and removal of mods.<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Mod Pack Patch Updates</span></b><br/>Patches are where we update the modpack replacing a mod or removing a client side only mod which won't affect a server. These will now have a version change like 3.0.1. Any questions on this one please let me know<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Mod Pack Hot Fix Updates</span></b><br/>Alright Hot Fixes these are where we push a big update out and that day we find a game breaking mod or bug and it needs to be replaced and fixed. We will not offer a version change of any kind on these. We usually fix them right away and correct them. So if this update was from 2.0 to 2.1 and the 2.1 update has a bad bug. We will release a hot fix that day. This could affect worlds and could affect servers but we will notify you with a news post and breakdown what you need to do and what was happening.<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Mod Pack Version Change Update</span></b><br/>These are updates where we will have a big update. We will remove mods, replace mods, update mods, and add mods. These will need to have a fresh server update and your worlds could be affected but not likely as we are very careful with changing ID's. However Jurassic Craft has issues with dinosaurs disappearing on big updates. This is due to the mods themselves. Fossil & Archeology and Jurassic Craft have big updates and sometimes they remove dinosaurs or change them so they will disappear. These updates you should always backup your world incase of an issue or a bug that would get fixed in a hot fix. <br/><br/><span style="font-size:17"><b>Mod Pack Rebuild Update</b></span><br/><span style="font-size:17">These type of updates involve an entire rebuild of the pack. So if we are updating a pack from 1.6.4 to 1.7.10 we will rebuild the modpack from the ground up. Some mods may have issues with minecrafts newest version and some other mods might be removed because they did not update. We have had issues with updating worlds from 1.6.4 to 1.7.10. You will most likely not be able to convert your worlds. So if Jurassic Craft 1.6.4 was 1.5 before a rebuild update. After the rebuild update it would be 2.0 and on 1.7.10. <br/><br/>I hope this cleared things up for anyone confused with how we handle updates and if you have any suggestions to make it easier or better please feel free to help us we always love hearing your ideas.</span>

148Hey whats up guys Cody here and with summer pretty much here we wanted to share with you guys our plans this summer and all the awesome new things to come! There has been a lot of things in the works and we want to share what will be coming and when you can expect them! This will be our biggest summer yet! We have a lot in store for you guys including website changes/upgrades, launcher changes/upgrades, more forum activities, more public servers, more void launcher mods, and more mod packs!<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Website Changes:</span></b><br/>We plan to expand out our mod installers section. With add in a way to filter through all the mods in different categories. We also plan to make this more expandable where any mod we put on the website can be transferred onto the launcher for the custom modpacks section of the launcher. We have been adding 1 mod installer a day and updating all old installers that have old downloads or no downloads at all. We will be having new mobile games get released so that means we will have a new section for our mobile games. We might also be allowing people to signup to the main website and post there own minecraft mods we haven’t decided yet on that.<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Void Launcher Changes:</span></b><br/>With the void launcher getting more and more stable for all PC and mac versions we plan to take it to the next step. This means we want to be able to expand on it. We currently have a great version that currently needs a few tweaks with the home page visuals and some more tweaks on the mod packs page to be perfect. We want to fix the mods page and make a make your own modpack section. This would give the user the ability to create a modpack within the launcher and package it up and put it on the modpacks page and then being able to send it to a friends launcher or being able to package it up for a server! This is great for people who want to have there own ideas for modpacks brought to life. More information on this coming soon. Then there is also the servers tab we want to redo this and make it a top list tab for the modpacks. Showing who has played the most out of any player we will need to add anti cheat hooks in there however so it might take a bit.<br/><br/><span style="font-size:17"><b>Void Forums:</b></span><br/>More activity to come on here from all staff and this will be giveaways! We will be giving away a PS4 soon and other awesome games and server ranks etc! This will help build activity on there and give players an incentive to strive harder to be more involved with the community.  We also plan to finish up the mod forums for all our official mods and expand on the sections dedicated for each server getting rid of our server forums like crazy.voidswrath.com as it just spreads out our community. We just want to have it on one forum. We are also going to be adding more tutorials and more widgets like shoutboxes and more!<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Voids Wrath Mods:</span></b><br/>We have been hard at work with the team reworking our mods system and updating them all! We will be adding forum posts to all on the forums and we will also add them to the official mods section of the website! We have had an array of mods made in the past few months including five nights at freddy’s, clash of clans, pacman, and now we are working on an ironman hulk buster mod! We have spoilers come out every week on the atlantic craft twitter!<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Voids Wrath Mod Packs:</span></b><br/>There will be some updates coming to some packs like Jurassic Craft adding in some new mods and updating some old ones! Poke Pack will see an update soon to 1.8 or just adding new mods on 1.7.10. We strive to keep our packs updated with the latest content. We also will be adding crazy craft 3.0 alpha and Atlantis Survival. We are also cracking hard on game crashes and other bugs that are specific to certain PC versions and mac versions!<br/><br/><b><span style="font-size:17">Voids Wrath Servers:</span></b><br/>We currently have Crazy Craft 2.0, GTAHub, and Voids Wrath 1.0 for public servers. We want to go back and fix all known bugs on these servers and do an official reset and add a few things to fix up the servers. We also plan to be adding public servers for dream craft, crazy craft 3.0, jurassic craft and poke pack in the coming months!

These aren't anything major however it should help a lot of you be able to join in on all the fun Crazy Craft gives! This update is not a mod pack update it is just a patch which will require no server side changes.er updates. It is strictly a client side patch.<br/><br/><b><b><span style="font-size:17">What was the problem?</span></b></b><br/>Well it seemed that many people had issues with Crazy Craft 3.0 running out of memory or just being very stuttery and laggy. A lot of the time Crazy Craft 3.0 will run out of memory because you have the incorrect java however we did find a few troublesome mods that could be a huge culprit in causing this when it isn't because of the wrong java. Here is what we did to fix it.<br/><br/><b><b><span style="font-size:17">Crazy Craft 3.0 Optimization</span></b></b><br/>We wanted to optimize Crazy Craft so everyone could enjoy! These is a major goal of ours is to fix all problems on our mod packs and ensure that everyone has a good time.
