1My name is John Smith and I am convinced Barack Obama is actually a Republican.

3A sample of some of the actions/positions Barack Obama has taken which I would expect not from a Democrat but a Republican include:
4    Supports school choice vouchers,
5    Campaigned for a health reform bill modeled after former Governor Romney's and advocated
6        by the Heritage Foundation,
7    Embraces the vast bulk of George Bush's terrorism policies,
8    Waged a war against government whistleblowers as part of a campaign of obsessive secrecy,
9    Led efforts to overturn a global ban on cluster bombs,
10    Extinguished the Lives not only of accused Terrorists but of huge Numbers of innocent
11        Civilians with cluster bombs and drones in Muslim countries,
12    Engineered a covert war against Iran,
13    Tried to extend the Iraq war,
14    Ignored Congress and the constitution to prosecute an unauthorised war in Libya,
15    Adopted the defining Bush/Cheney policy of indefinite detention without trial for People
16        accused of being Terrorists,
17    Claimed and exercised the power to assassinate US Citizens far from any battlefield and
18        without due process,
19    Has not pushed for a public option in health care,
20    Has not push for noticably stricter environmental regulations even after the BP oil spill,
21    Has not rule out the possibility of approving the transcontinental pipeline,
22    Has cut taxes numerous times,
23    Pushed for only a tepid stimulus package, half the size advocated by Advisors and ~1/3 of
24        which was tax cuts despite research showing tax cuts to have some of the least
25        stimulative effects,
26    Extended the Bush tax cuts despite having strong majorities in the congress at the time
27        which could have passed an extension only for the "99%", totally capitulating to
28        Republican demands and getting nothing in return for it,
29    Supports capital punishment,
30    Retained the same Defense Secretary as former President Bush,
31    Pushed for deficit reductions which go beyond anything Republicans have offered,
32    Has not closed the prison at Guantanamo Bay when a simple Executive order would do it,
33    Would not veto the National Defense Authorization Act despite the indefinite detention
34        provision,
35    Continues to defend the indefinite detension provision of the National Defense
36        Authorization Act vehemently,
37    Wants to cut NASA because, I am guessing, He thinks science is not that important,
38    Gave an order to kill, instead of an order to capture, Osama Bin Laden,
39    Has done nothing to limit bullets per magazine after the Arizona shootings,
40    Has deported more unauthorized Persons, so-called "illegal Immigrants", than Any President
41        in recent history, if ever,
42    Has only stated symbolic support for marriage equality and, even then, only after 51% of
43        Americans decided They support it too,
44    Made only the slightest push for the repeal of "Don't Ask. Don't Tell" instead of "pulling
45        a Truman" and ordering a suspension of the policy,
46    Has worked to gut the Endangered Species Act,
47    Called upon then-Congressman Anthony Weiner to resign, as if the People of the NY-9
48        congressional district were not "American enough" to choose for Themselves Who They
49        want to represent Them in the congress,
50    Backs the Patriot act,
51    Supports the FISA amendments,
52    Argues in favor of immunity to telecommunication companies for Their participation in the
53        unwarranted spying on Americans,
54    Gave a legal "pass" to Those responsible for water boarding,
55    Cut the social security payroll tax, requiring funds to be diverted from the general
56        treasury instead to make up for the shortfall,
57    Refused to come out in support of public Workers in Wisconsin,
58    Maintained military commissions,
59    Continued renditions,
60    Issued an Executive order ending the use of so-called "black sites" except "to hold People
61        on a short-term, transitory basis" without defining "short-term, transitory basis",
62    Expanded surveillance of Citizens, and
63    Continued invoking the "state secrets" argument in court as if it were standard operating
64        procedure.
65Consequently, I am voting for Mitt Romney not because I think Governor Romeny will be any better but because at least Governor Romney is honest about being a Republican.
