1An old station by the name of Vaneskya has recently started to catch the eye of metro-dwellers and scavengers, with a desolate area surrounding old battlegrounds of Redline and Reich.

3It is neatly positioned between Tverskaya (Reich territory) and Lubyanka (Redline territory), a quiet, convenient and deadly breeding ground for the two to fight upon. The most northern gate was able to lock anyone out who came from that side, the southern gate being a lot easier to breach, yet still faces resistance. The two forces had drawn back to fight at a different front as it appeared to be a useless, never ending fight over the small station, and so they decided to cease fire and leave the station behind, for assumably a potentially a later date.

5Most of the old fortifications are still standing, surrounding the barracks and leading up to the surface entrance. All what was deemed useful or dangerous for the enemy had been taken by the two forces, the remnants scrapped over by the first few dwellers who have settled at the old sanctuary area.

7Historically, the ancient station had barely finished its construction before the war broke out and so the surface areas surrounding the metro entrance had an old construction site layered on top of it. The original plans were to expand a nearby portion of what used to be the city, with new residences and business skyscrapers for people to live and work within, the metro station aimed to become easy access for those around the city, and a hot-spot for trade and economy flow.

10These days, the air surrounding the site is dangerously toxic and highly irradiated, so a functional gas mask and filter is a must, and even with such apparatus, extended exposure to the surface areas are extremely punishing and deterioration of life-span is expected. The area was used as an alternative route to other entrances in the metro to flank the opposing forces for the Reich and Redline, and it is definitely not uncommon for scouts of these factions to roam the tunnels and check for advancing armies using the back-routes to the station.
