118I've only use machines for two exercises. Lat rows because barbell rows dont work for me for some reason, and chest press to help get that definition for inner pecs. Other than that, any other machine I use is for cardio and not weights.

120To expand on what that anon said, another reason why I don't use machines is because they can also be a hassle later on when you get to heavier weights. Since with cable machine, you can't just sit down with 85 lbs in each hand, the farther you go out the more resistance there is, which is bad because you may not be able to perform the exercise with that extra lb or two of resistance. So you're left straining to get the full ROM when you could easily do it with dumbells.

Being able to run 3 miles in 28 minutes is a starting point, lowering it down to 18 minutes is perfection. Your body may be able to handle running for long time since eventually your muscles will adapt and grow to the necessary amount for running. But can your body handle doing burpees or jumping jacks for 10 minutes? Your heart may be able to take it but your muscles may not. 2866I wasn't talking about ideals, but the fact of the matter is you can't have both true free will and a program to unconditionally love you without questioning or judging you. The whole post that started it all was how AI "isn't a meme" but in reality we've been talking about an idealized version of it and nothing more. It almost seems like there's a fully sapient pony bot that only loves you and is also 100% foolproof and without any tricks by corporation that made its AI ready to be produced on a global scale as soon as next year at a price anyone can afford in any country. I'm just against having false hope. At this point I'd more readily believed in portals to Equestria opening across the world. That's not to say that I would prefer a real mare to a robot and AI doesn't make me feel anything but I guess that counts as thottery now so I won't voice my opinion on that matter any further.
