1How do I correctly sync data across work accounts?

3Work uses Office 365, accessed via to our work domain emails. This is the main email and calendar platform we work use.

5We’re issued phones, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 4 running android 7.0. and we make use of the Google Calendar app to manage appointments on the go.

7The problem is this:

9The Office 365 Work email account functions fine on laptops and desktops. Calendar entries can be seen and edited as normal.

11Any events entered into the Google Calendar app are not syncing with the Office 365 account, but events added into the Office 365 calendar will sync with the Google Calendar app. The Work email address is synced with the Google Calendar App. This is confirmed both within the app and under “Accounts” in the phone settings menu.

13The phone itself also is tied to a Gmail account specifically made to allow the device to connect to the Play Store for other software needs.

15In the Google Calendar app there are two accounts synced:
16Work Email address @workdomain.com (Office 365)

18Phone Email address @gmail.com (Phone)

20Events that show up in the Google calendar app include those from the Office 365 account, and the phone account. Previously, prior to a recent switch to these new devices, events that were edited in Google Calendar were inputted under the Office 365 Account, and would sync between the two platforms. Any events added via the phone now are authored via the Gmail account automatically, and will not sync with Office 365.

22An additional issue in the mix is that my work email, when synced to my phone brings other staff member’s appointments with administrative access along with my own events; i.e. I can edit other people’s calendars who are not my subordinates. These events only appear in the Google Calendar app, despite these colleague’s email addresses not appearing in the app’s settings menu. The events that do not belong to me and are appearing in the Google Calendar app only appear when my work domain email address is synced. My own work events do not appear in any of the affected staff members Office 365 accounts or their work phones.
