3In this world, magic has always existed. Magic is a normalised part of society. Humans have always had mana inside of them, and can harness that mana to do extraordinary things. The type of mana you have determines what kind of magic you can use. Some people can use three elements, some even many more, but some can only use one. Everyone is different. You'll find that the more varied type of mana a person has, the more elements they can use. But it is also a case that the more elements someone may control, the less powerful their individual elements may be as opposed to someone who can only control one element. Someone who can use five elements including wind may be weaker at using their wind element than someone who can only use the wind element.

5Since ancient times, humans have been using magic in all sorts of ways. The cavemen used magic to help hunt, build and live. As time progressed, so did humans capabilities regarding magic and its usefulness. At the current point in time, magic is plentiful. As humans have evolved with magic, many more differing types of magic have emerged. Telepathy, transformation, control and psychic abilities just to name a few. Mana can even be infused into objects to power, move and transform them.

7With magic ever-growing in modern society, so is the need to test humans magic abilities, and here is where our story begins.

9Atsuku is a 15 year old highschool student who has just passed his entrance exam into his new Highschool in his new home, Alchemilla. But highschool is not the highschool you know. In this world, it is common place for cities and even countries to compete in competitions and festivals using magic, and the same can be said for schools. Atsuku is picked to participate in an inter-school battle royal pitting different schools against one another for school superiority. Along with him 15 others are picked, all of whom are extraordinary. His childhood friend Yuki was one of the students picked who he hasn't seen since primary school. She is very happy to see him again. He quickly befriends one of the other students picked, Kaze, and they proceed to become good friends. But this world has a dark underbelly that has yet to show its true face. The story will follow Atsuku and co. as they work their way through their studies, battle for school supremacy and inevitably save the world!

48Atsuku is a 15 year old highschool student who has just passed his entrance exam into his new Highschool. Atsuku is amazed at the sheer size of the School when he arrives. Things move quickly as everyone is assembled to the School Auditorium, which is massive by the way, and the principal welcomes everyone to the new year. The Principal goes on to tell the students that upon their first day of highschool, they are to undergo a Mana Measurement Test where the aim is to find out how much and what types of mana the students have. Everyone is given a location to go to have the test. Atsuku is walking in a big group with hundreds of other students around and is questioning if he is going to the right one. He arrives at the location to find the line is incredibly long and he's at the back. After a while it is almost his turn, he catches someone going in for their test and is watching intently, he's stunned when their tester freaks out at the amount of mana and how many different types they are in possession of. The person walks off without a care in the world for their results. It is finally Atsuku's turn. Atsuku is hooked up to a machine and has a headpiece of sorts placed on his head. The tester runs the test and gets the results. Atsuku's mana measurement is in the top percentile which he is happy to hear. The tester says that he only can harness the fire element, which does not surprise Atsuku because it's all he's ever been able to do. As Atsuku takes off the headpiece the tester sees a second element symbol flash for a moment, but pays it no mind. Hours have passed since everyone was sent to have their tests and have been reassembled in the Auditorium once more. The Principal has a list of the people who were the standout students with high mana scores and multiple elements. 15 students are called out in total and the rest are dismissed to be showed around the school. As Atsuku goes to leave, one of the Teachers stops him and says that he was on the list but the Principal missed him out. Atsuku goes with the group of top scoring students and gets to a staffroom upstairs with a big table and a lot of chairs. Everyone is asked to be seated as the Principal and 5 teachers walk into the room. The Principal asks the group of students if they have ever heard of the tournaments that schools all over the world hold to see who has the strongest students. The Principal goes on to ask each student if they would like to participate. Every student is ecstatic and willing to participate. The Principal introduces the 5 Teachers as alumni of the school who participated in that same tournament and have decided to help the younger generations. Each Teacher will take 3 students and train with them to prepare them for these tournaments.

51At some point Yuki gets kidnapped by her evil dad. Won't be til some fair time in I think. It starts out with Yuki not being around Atsuku and co. as much. Kaze notices this and points out that Yuki hasn't been around as much lately. Atsuku replies that he noticed but didn't want to point it out because she said she has something to do. Kaze says that this isn't like Yuki and Atsuku agrees but says that it'd be best to give her time. Cut to later that evening and Yuki is seen walking down the road in town being followed by Kaze. Kaze is keeping his distance as to not alert Yuki. Yuki takes a right turn and Kaze heads off after her only to turn the corner and she is gone. Kaze runs back to find Atsuku and finds Atsuku walking around down by the pier. Kaze has a frantic look on his face and tells Atsuku that he was following Yuki and lost her in an alleyway, Atsuku is noticeably angry but also worried so they both head back to the scene where she disappeared. They search for clues for her whereabouts but nothing can be found. The sun sets and Kaze says that it's getting too late to find anything, but Atsuku looks up and thinks he sees something and takes off upwards. Atsuku gets to the top of a building only to see someone in a large cloak. Kaze arrives and the cloaked assailant scrambles and falls off the side of the building. Atsuku and Kaze quickly save the assailant and land safely on the ground. They unmask the person only for them to be a random person and not Yuki. The cloaked stranger gets up and runs away. They decide to head back for the night. The next morning rolls around and Kaze meets up with Atsuku and they head into class. Yuki does not show up to class and Atsuku and Kaze are worried. The bell rings and it is lunch time for the school. Atsuku asks the teacher if she knows where Yuki is. The teacher replies that Yuki's mother called and said that Yuki is sick and won't be attending school for the rest of the week. Kaze accepts it and says that this is all just him overthinking what has happened and adds that she must've been going to the pharmacy and went in there when he wasn't looking. Atsuku is distressed as the boys leave the classroom. They're sitting in the cafeteria when one of Yuki's friends come up to them and asks where Yuki has been going. Kaze says that she has been sick but hasn't told anyone as to not worry them. Yuki's friend says that Yuki has been acting strange ever since she lost to Jiga in the Inter-School Quarter-Finals. Atsuku says that she seemed to have accepted the loss, that she wanted to get stronger and that he assumed she has been doing solitary training. Yuki's friend then says that she normally knows where Yuki is and that this is not like her. Atsuku agrees and they all decide to go to Yuki's house. They all go about their day and meet up out the front of the school and head off to Yuki's house. They arrive and walk up to the door. Many thoughts are rushing through their heads like 'will she even be here?' 'what has been happening?' 'is Yuki in trouble?' Kaze knocks and after a few seconds the door flies open and Yuki is there with a big smile on her face and says "Hiyaaaaaa! Oh, what are you all doing here?" Atsuku, Kaze and Yuki's friend are all stunned and almost in shock. Yuki asks what's up and Kaze blurts out a response 'we just came to check up on you.' Yuki replies she is doing fine and there's nothing to be worried about. Yuki's mother invites them in as she is cooking dinner, the group decline and ask if Yuki will be at school tomorrow. She replies she will be and that she was quite sick this morning but she has recovered. The group say their goodbyes and leave. With their worries subsided the group split up and go home. The next morning comes and Atsuku meets up with Kaze and Yuki is right behind Atsuku. The day goes on as normal and Yuki is back. Yuki, Kaze and Atsuku end the day together and are walking home now. Kaze splits off and goes down his street, the group say their goodbyes for the weekend. Yuki and Atsuku are walking down the street and Atsuku asks what's been up with her recently. She looks down as if to insinuate that it is a sad reason, but perks right back up and says that she's just had some things to take care of and apologises for being absent. She follows up with 'Awww Atsuku I didn't know you'd miss me that much when I was gone.' Atsuku replies that it's much quieter without her around all the time and that he's sorry for missing all of the time they could have spent together if he hadn't had to move but he's glad he was transferred into the same school as her. Yuki stops and looks down again. Atsuku then stops and asks Yuki what is wrong. She says nothing again and keeps on walking. Yuki's street is the next one and the two go to part ways. As Atsuku goes to walk away Yuki stops him and says that she's glad he was transferred to her school too. Atsuku smiles and Yuki smiles back. Yuki says goodbye and Atsuku does the same. The two part ways. Later that night Atsuku is going to the shop because he forgot to buy some food he was supposed to on the way home from school. He hears rustling and struggling from a sidestreet and heads towards it. The source is down an alleyway of the sidestreet and Atsuku quickens the pace to the scene. The struggling has stopped when he gets there and comes across a hooded figure and a woman lying on the ground. 'Oi! Get away from her!' he yells at the hooded person. The hooded person turns around slowly, and it's Yuki. Atsuku is shocked and manages to mutter "Yuki-" Atsuku is immediately grabbed around the neck and thrown by some thick vines which send him flying onto the road and dragged through it and he slams into the side of a building. He manages to open his eyes only to see the thick vines and Yuki before blacking out. Atsuku wakes up to Kaze and his Appointed Teacher leaning over him. He springs up and sees that he's in a hospital. Kaze says that he was found at the end of a ditch under rubble on the side of the street. Kaze asks what happened and Atsuku remembers being hurled by some vines and that Yuki was standing in front of them. Kaze says that he's remembering incorrectly and that Yuki only has control of Gravity magic. Atsuku asks how long he's been out and Kaze says it's been 3 days already. Atsuku says he knows who he saw and that he has to know how and why and that he's leaving. He goes to get up and is struck with immense pain in his neck and back. The nurse arrives and tells him quickly to lie back down as to not injure himself anymore. The nurse says that he received a fractured spine and torn ligaments in his neck during the attack and that it may well be weeks before he is released from hospital. Atsuku says that's too long and that he's going now and sits up again only for the nurse to sedate him and force him to pass out. Kaze asks the AT what they should do. AT says that Atsuku won't sit quiet for long and that he's going to go to the Principal and ask what their next move is. Kaze says he'll stay with Atsuku for now and stop him from doing anything rash. AT leaves and Kaze heads out too. Later that night Atsuku wakes up when a nurse comes in to ask if he would like some food. He says that he needs to leave. The nurse says that it'll be a while and not to rush these injuries. Atsuku is noticeably restless and the nurse asks if he would like to see the doctor. The doctor comes in and informs Atsuku that they would like to examine his injuries further and that this may take a few hours. Atsuku says if it gets him out of here quicker he'll do it. The doctor's scan his neck and come across something amazing. Atsuku wakes up after the examination and the doctors are astonished at the sight of Atsuku now. Atsuku asks why they're all staring at him and one pipes up and tells Atsuku that his injuries are recovering at an astounding rate. Such a rate that he'll be fully healed in a matter of hours. Atsuku is surprised and relieved that he'll be out of hopsital soon. The doctors ask him if he has some form of healing magic but Atsuku replies that he doesn't know of any if he did and that he only controls Fire based magic. The doctors are dumbfounded as to how Atsuku heals so quickly and Atsuku asks if he can leave now but promises to not do anything too strenuous. He explains that his friend is in trouble and needs help. The doctors say okay but to promise to not overdo it. Atsuku grabs his clothes and heads out. Cut to Kaze and he is at school. He opens one of the doors and enters the Student Council's room. Kaze comes across the Student Council Chairman and asks what to do about the Yuki situation. Chairman replies that 'he' must be out of line again and to not worry about such trivial matters. Kaze says that Yuki is a good girl and that she can be of great help to their cause. Chairman allows Kaze to retrieve her but should he fail he will face severe punishment as he will be in allied territory and, should it come to light what is really happening in these schools, that the country will spiral into chaos. Kaze thanks the Chairman and leaves. AP enters the Principal's office and informs her of the events that have occured. Principal says that she shall launch a schoolwide investigation into the matter and that she will speak to the Student Council. Cut back to Atsuku and he is walking around town wondering how to find Yuki. He knows of a place where Yuki likes to go when she is feeling down and it's down by the water. He heads there and runs into Kaze. Kaze asks how in the hell Atsuku is out of hospital and Atsuku says that he heals super quick and that he's trying to find Yuki. Kaze says that he has a few leads and that they should work together. The two head off to one of Kaze's leads. Montage of them trying a bunch of different spots where people said Yuki likes to go and where they've seen her recently. Atsuku says that this is getting them nowhere and starts to get frustrated. Kaze says that maybe they need to ask someone who knows more about crimes. Kaze shows Atsuku a storehouse that he's seen criminals go into on occasion. They arrive and Atsuku tells Kaze to wait here. Atsuku walks in and comes across 5 criminals moving around stolen goods. The criminals freak out and go to attack Atsuku but Atsuku instantly explodes in fire and the storehouse's roof explodes. Atsuku walks out dragging one of the criminals by the leg. Kaze comments that that was a surprisingly effective strategy. Atsuku replies that they're short on time. Kaze wakes up the criminal and asks him if he knows of any kidnapped girls that have happened recently. The criminal says that he knows nothing and Atsuku lights his arm on fire and says that the world won't miss this criminal and reaches out to incinerate him. The criminal pleads and then finally says that he knows of someone who would know if there were any. He gives them the location and they thank the criminal. As they're walking away Kaze looks back and tells the criminal "get a job" the criminal says if it stops Atsuku from threatening him again then he will. The two arrive at the location and it's a club. Kaze says that it looks pretty rough and to be on guard. Atsuku says that they're only going in to ask a few questions. They walk in and find a trashed looking nightclub open in the middle of the day. A big guy in a leather jacket steps in front of them and asks what two kids are doing here. Kaze says that they're here to ask some of them a few questions. Criminals cackle and snicker and ask what if they don't like being questioned. Atsuku replies that's not a problem, he will make them compliant. The criminals erupt in laughter as Atsuku and Kaze just smile. A man walks in from the back of the club followed by a few of the criminals. This man is the boss and he asks what can he do for Atsuku and Kaze. Atsuku says that their friend was kidnapped and is wondering if he'd heard anything recently. Bossman says that he may, but the information will cost them. Kaze says that they're short on time and patience and to just tell them. Bossman says that he doesn't like Kaze's tone and their ego coming onto his turf and demanding answers. Atsuku stops smiling. Kaze notices and realises it's time. Kaze lets out a massive wind gust that is roaring throughout the club. The criminals all can't understand what is going on. Atsuku lifts up his finger and lights it. He looks at the boss and says "You've got one chance. Tell us what we want to know." The boss realises what can happen if that flame gets any bigger and tells them to stop and he'll tell them. He tells them that he heard of a girl from around here showing up to some of their meeting and how it was all really odd. But she was hanging out with big shots so no one said anything. He doesn't know why she started showing up only that she was something special to someone higher up the ladder. Kaze asks if he knows where she could be and bossman says he heard she was moving on from Alchemilla and heading out to Rondeletia. With their questions answered Kaze thanks the group and they both exit the club. Bossman is livid. He sends his underlings after them for making a mockery of his group and this club, and they all rush out to swarm Atsuku and Kaze. They get outside to find the two standing there almost as if they were expecting them. Kaze creates a tornado and Atsuku lights it on fire and Kaze launches it at the group of criminals and they all get caught up in it. The tornado heads towards the club and demolishes it and subsides as soon as the club has been leveled. Kaze remarks that they should've kept it civil. Kaze says that Rondeletia is a few hours away from Alchemilla and that it'll be a few hours. Atsuku says that there's no time to waste then and the two head out. And just as they reach the city limits, they're stopped by Appointed Teacher. AT says that he's been following them since they met up at the Lakefront and asks what they've found out so far. Atsuku says that someone they believe to be Yuki has headed to Rondeletia and that they're about to go there now. AT demands that they stop pursuing her. Atsuku argues that she's in trouble but AT shuts him down saying that he's been ordered by the Principal to stop them by any means necessary. Atsuku tells AT that he's not going to stop. The three have a stand-off and Atsuku tells AT to step aside. AT says that he's not going to let Atsuku and Kaze run off to die. Atsuku goes to retort but AT yells that he's heard enough. Atsuku starts walking towards AT. AT takes a defensive stance. Atsuku goes to attack and AT makes his move and zips past Atsuku and binds him with his magic, Bind. Atsuku can't move. AT asks Kaze if he'll go quietly, Kaze says that he doesn't want any trouble. Atsuku and Kaze are brought to the Principal of their Highschool. The Principal asks them what they thought they were doing, Kaze replies that a student is in trouble and that the school has done nothing about it. The Principal says that she has called the Police and that they are investigating and that it's their top priority. Atsuku says that that's not good enough and that he's leaving. AT binds him again, except this time he lets loose a torrent of flames that engulf the Principal's office. AT lets go the binds that held Atsuku and use them to bind the flames and shrink them into a small ball. Atsuku is stunned at how easily AT did that but uses the moment to try and escape. He jumps through the window and escapes, only to have an updraft lift him back into the room. This time it's Kaze stopping Atsuku. Atsuku asks why. Kaze says that they've made little progress and that they're in over their heads. Kaze says that it's best to drop it and let the School and Police handle this. Atsuku goes to reply and Kaze leaves the room. The Principal tries to console Atsuku by saying that they're all trying their best but students going rogue isn't the way to go about this. Atsuku goes back to his dorm room expecting to find Kaze there but he doesn't. Atsuku goes out onto the balcony and looks up at the sky. Cut to Kaze and he's back in the Student Council Chairman's office. Chairman asks why he's back so soon. Kaze says that they made little progress and wants help. Chairman says that Kaze coming back to ask for help is basically Kaze admitting defeat. Kaze says that if that's what it takes then he'll take any punishments as long as Yuki is returned safely. Chairman asks what happened to the Kaze that approached the Phantom that is the Student Council and demanded a seat at the table. Kaze says that circumstances have changed. Chairman remarks that he's gone soft and that after this help Kaze will receive his punishment. Kaze accepts. The afternoon comes to an end as the Moon rises. Cut to Atsuku's clock and it is 11:45pm. Atsuku is in bed but can't sleep. The School's Guard has put a forcefield with magic sensors around Atsuku's room so he can't leave. Atsuku gets out of bed and goes out onto the balcony. Atsuku can't stand being couped up in his room and not being out there looking for Yuki. Atsuku is staring at the stars wondering what is happening and why. He just can't see why Yuki would attack him. This sweet, innocent girl that has been nothing but nice all of a sudden is attacking him and committing crimes? None of this makes sense. "It doesn't add up, does it?" a voice says. Atsuku quickly turns around and finds a shadowy figure standing in his room. The figure takes a step forward and it turns out to be the Student Council Chairman. Atsuku hasn't met him yet, let alone known of his existence. Atsuku asks who this person is. Chairman says that they don't have much time and to ask questions after they've gotten out of this pesky forcefield, "getting out of this room wouldn't be bad either" he adds. Atsuku asks how as there are Magic sensors implemented into the forcefield. Chairman says that he used his magic to get here and the School's Guard are already on their way. He then opens a portal and tells Atsuku to hurry and go through. Atsuku hesitates but does, grabbing his school uniform in the process. The portal lead to a dimly lit room. Chairman clicks his fingers and the lights turn on and the room, should I say mansion comes to life. There are many students in uniforms doing all sorts of work, putting books away in large bookcases, cleaning and on computers. The Chairman explains that this is the Student Council Head Office. Atsuku is amazed but quickly comes to and asks why he's here. Chairman says that they have a common goal. Atsuku catches on that it is Yuki. Chairman says that he's here because the Student Council doesn't know what Atsuku knows. That they are allies in this endeavour. Atsuku is weary and asks how a place this big is on school grounds. That's when the Chairman explains just how. This Office was created entirely out of Magic, and exists in a Portal World that he himself created and is constantly keeping open. He continues to say that every Student Council Chairman could wield Portal Based Magic and that is the only requirement for becoming Student Council Chairman. Atsuku asks how they keep it so secretive, Chairman exclaims that if he were to reveal that then a lot of things could go wrong. He quickly changes the subject to Yuki. Atsuku says that she suddenly started not hanging out with them after school for a week or two and then stopped coming to school. Kaze followed her and then Atsuku found her one night and she attacked him and put him in the hospital. Chairman says that he thought she wasn't all that powerful and that he may have to change his strategy. Atsuku asks what he means by that. Chairman says that they will need to defeat Yuki in order to bring her back. Atsuku concerningly replies that no one needs to fight and that he'll talk to her. Chairman questions if that will work seeing as how she instantly attacked him when they met the other day. Atsuku says that he doesn't know why and that he will find out. Atsuku then asks what the Student Council is bringing to the table. Chairman says that he has the name of the Culprit. Atsuku's eyes widen. Chairman notes that this is an educated guess and that it is not 100% confirmed. Atsuku says that it doesn't matter he'll go find out himself. Chairman tells Atsuku that there are some terms that need to be understood before they move forward. Atsuku notes that he doesn't always play by the rules. Chairman chuckles and says that he allowed for that. He goes on to explain that Atsuku is to only move when Chairman says so. That Atsuku is to keep Chairman informed using a wireless in-ear communication device. And that Atsuku is to not make an rash or hasty decisions. Atsuku says that he's basically working under the Chairman. Chairman calls it a partnership with him being the brains and Atsuku being the brawn. Atsuku says that he'll take the help but can do this without it. Chairman says that's too bad as he felt the two were really hitting it off. A portal opens up at Atsuku's feet and he drops through it and it closes. Chairman says that it's sad that they didn't get to work together but he's intrigued to see where things go from here. Cuts to Atsuku and he falls straight into his room. He checks to see if any of the School's Guard are in here but the coast is clear. He then sits down on his bed and sighs saying how amazing Portal Based Magic is. He then falls back onto his bed and thinks about how any of this came about. And if he made the right decision in not teaming with the Student Council. He then turns his head and sees his clock. It says 11:45pm. Atsuku's eyes widen and he runs out onto the balcony. Everything else seems normal. He then looks out onto the water. There is no reflection of the Moon on the water. Atsuku knows that something is wrong. He then turns around and there is a sadowy figure standing there. "Awwww man, I nearly had you too. Boss is gonna be real mad." Atsuku lets loose a blast of fire from his mouth, engulfing the room. He then sits up on his bed in a cold sweat. He looks at the time and it says 2:35am. Atsuku is freaked out and calls for the School's Guards to take him to the Principal. He explains the situation and the Principal says that the Forcefield detected no magic so none of that could have happened. Atsuku says that it felt so real, the fall, the breeze, all of it. Atsuku is escorted back to his dorm room by the Guards. The Guards lower the Forcefield so Atsuku can go in and put it back up again. Atsuku looks at his clock, it says 2:55am. Atsuku goes back to sleep. The alarm goes off at 7:15am and Atsuku gets up and gets ready to go to class. School goes as normal and first break comes. As he leaves the classroom Atsuku looks at the clock, it says 11am. Atsuku goes to the cafeteria and gets some food and sits down and eats it. Break comes and goes and school goes on as normal. He enters his classroom for his next class and it says 11:30am. Class finishes and he looks at the clock again. It says 12:30pm. Atsuku meets up with Kaze for lunch and discusses if he's made any progress, Kaze says that he hasn't been able to make any moves due to the School's Guard breathing down his neck and on high alert. The two have lunch and go back for their last class at 1:15pm. School ends and Atsuku meets up with Kaze, who is talking to Raia. Raia is asking about Yuki and the situation. Kaze says that she was acting weird and then she attacked Atsuku with Vine Magic, Raia says that he thought she could only use Gravity Magic. Atsuku and Kaze say they thought the same. Raia says that she's been helping him out recently and that if he didn't do the same it'd leave a bad taste in his mouth. Kaze welcomes the help. Atsuku gets back to his dorm and sits down at his table. He then looks at his clock. It says 5:19pm. Atsuku decides to have a shower and gets changed. He sits down to do some reading he has been behind on. After a while he says it's getting hot in the room so he opens the balcony door and goes out there to get some fresh air. The wind picks up and Atsuku is leaning on the railing, admiring the view. He then looks down and notices, the leaves aren't moving with the breeze, but against it. Cut to a shadowy figure right behind Atsuku with a knife in the air. Atsuku quickly turns around and pushes the figure against the wall with his forearm on their throat. "D-Dammit!!" the person yells. "I knew you've been following me around. I've known you were there, somewhere. I played your game, I baited you out. I beat you. And now, it's time." Atsuku lights his hand up and goes to move it when the figure stabs his arm with the knife and gets past him but Atsuku manages to turn around and grab the person's hood and light it on fire. The person gets into Atsuku's room and notices the burning hood and tries desperately to put it out. They end up taking off the robe they're wearing quickly and stomp on it, only to realise what they've done. The figure turns around and Atsuku smiles. "NOOOOO!!!!!" the man yells at the top of his lungs. "See you soon" says Atsuku as he wakes up in his bed. Atsuku looks at his clock, it says 2:35am then changes to 2:36am. Atsuku breathes a sigh of relief. Atsuku grabs his phone and sends a message to Kaze saying he has a lead and to meet him by the Water Fountain in the morning. Cut to the morning and Atsuku is standing by the Water Fountain and he sees Kaze running towards him. Kaze asks what happened and what info Atsuku has, Atsuku replies that someone attacked him last night but he saw their face and more importantly, a school badge. And he recognised it as a Rondeletia School Badge. Kaze is stunned, their original lead seemed to be right. Kaze says what are they waiting for but Atsuku says that there is someone else he told to meet him. A voice from behind Kaze says "what the hell am I doing up so early?" Kaze squeals and quickly turns around, it's Raia. Atsuku says he realises that this could be very dangerous and that he figured some back-up would do them good. Raia asks if this has anything to do with Yuki, Atsuku is a little astonished that Raia noticed. Raia says that he doesn't care but realises that Atsuku and Kaze have been frantically searching so something must be wrong, and Atsuku wouldn't swallow his pride and ask the superior fighter for help if it wasn't desperately needed. Atsuku condescendingly says that Raia never beat him either. Raia asks for a rundown of the situation. He knows that Yuki started to get a little distant and then Atsuku ended up in hospital. Raia asks if Atsuku is sure that it was Yuki who attacked him, Atsuku says he's positive. Raia commends Yuki on the strength and adds that he didn't think much of her otherwise. Raia then says he noticed that explosions and cyclones started appearing as soon as Atsuku was released from hospital. Kaze says that Atsuku was never one for holding back. Atsuku asks whatever happened to Appointed Teacher. Kaze says that he went to the Principal and that was the last he'd heard. Raia adds that he saw the Principal get into a limo and drive off towards Rondeletia late last night. Kaze says that Principal may be trying to get ahead of all of this by going to Rondeletia High School and asking them directly. Atsuku says that it's a dangerous move and she wouldn't go without back-up. Raia says that they should get moving in case things do go sideways and to tell him what he's missing on the way there. The three all take off into the sky. Cut to the bar that Atsuku and Kaze demolished the other day, and it shows all of the criminals knocked out and a few halfway through various walls of the club and some hanging from the ceiling. Bossman is shown on his knees, praying with his head bowed and hands together, to leave him alone. A Man is standing over him and asks him to answer his question. Bossman cries that the kids stormed the place wanting to know of any kidnapped girls and that he didn't know anything. The Man holds his hand over Bossman's head and asks him if he's sure that was all he told them. Bossman says yes that is all he said. The Man then holds his arms straight out in front of him, with his palms together. Bossman looks up very confused. Bossman is then lifted into the air. Bossman is screaming to put let him go. The Man proceeds to flip his hands so that the tops of them are together, splits his fingers and slowly moves them apart. Bossman's eyes widen and a bloodcurdling scream comes from his lungs. The Man gets his hands no more than 5 centimetres apart when Bossman calls out that he did tell the kids something else. The Man lowers his hands and Bossman is dropped to the ground. Bossman holds his head by the temple on both sides and says that he told the kids that some girl with bodyguards was heading to Rondeletia and that's absolutely it. The Man commends Bossman on being openly honest and turns around to leave. Bossman let's out a massive sigh of relief but then looks down. Bossman is sinking into the floor. He tries to stand but can't move. The Man stops as he gets to the door and says that Bossman has done well in his job, just that it is unfortunate that he had to get caught up in something like this. And that it is a shame but he can be easily replaced by the next criminal who comes along. Bossman begins to cry. The Man adds that Bossman is nothing in this world, just another criminal who thinks he has any form of control. The Man turns around and walks back to Bossman, crouches down and holds out his hand. He says that if Bossman can reach his hand that he will save him. Bossman frantically reaches as far as he can, all the while sinking down. "Yes, that's it. Almost there! Keep going you can do it!" Bossman is ballistically reaching out. He's within a fingertips range when The Man goes in and puts his thumb on Bossman's forehead. "Hmmm on second thought, you messed up big time and it's really created a big headache for us. So goodbye, uhhhhhhhh, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I can't even think of your name. Oh well." The Man stands up and turns around and heads towards the door. Bossman snaps out of it and screams to come back, yelling that he's done hard work for The Man and his group. The Man isn't phased as he walks out the door. Bossman cries out for someone to help as he is swallowed up by the floor. The Man walks out to a walkway of men in suits, heading towards a limosine. The Man is seen getting into the limo as Bossman's arm is slowly devoured by the floor. The Man apologises for taking so long and thanks someone for being so patient. A familiar voice says "Oh no, it is quite alright. Pays to take out the trash every now and again." as it pans over to The Principal sitting in the limosine with The Man. The Man says that there is some time before they get to where they're going so they should get to knowing each other a little better. The Principal brushes off his advances and replies that they should get to the topic of the meeting. The Man says that is boring but it's what The Boss wants. The Principal says that it's been a long time since she has met with The Boss and that she is very much looking forward to it. The Man says that it's be a little while for himself and that he's looking to update The Boss on how things have been going in Alchemilla. The Man says that apparently some of The Principal's students are heading towards Rondeletia and that it could be a problem if they cause any trouble. The Principal responds that she had a talking to them and that they shouldn't be leaving School Grounds until she gets back. The Man says that is good news, otherwise she may end up being a few students short before the years end. The Principal looks out the window as they head towards their destination. Cut back to Yuki's Retrieval Crew, and they are talking while flying. Kaze mentions that Rondeletia High School is on the far side of the city from them so they will need to land before entering the city. Raia asks why that matters. Kaze replies that Rondeletia High School is run by a Principal who rules with an Iron Fist, the whole City has a dark underbelly and that the School is said to be the basis of all of it. Atsuku says that it doesn't matter as long as they save Yuki. Raia calls Atsuku a delusional dumbass that can't comprehend danger. Atsuku fires back that Raia wouldn't be able to smell danger if it shat in his nose. Raia gets worked up and tells Atsuku to repeat what he said. Kaze breaks them up by saying that Rondeletia is just ahead and that they'll be landing on the shoreline below and walking along the bridge. The three land and survey the area from afar. Atsuku mentions that there aren't heaps of people willing to walk across this long bridge. Kaze says that he has a better idea and points to a small shop just across the road from them. It's a tourist shop. The three all end up buying disguises. Raia looks ridiculous, Atsuku went overboard, and Kaze suits the clothes he bought. Raia asks why Atsuku bought the Straw Hat. He says that he tried it on and he felt a sense of adventure, so he got it. Raia calls him a dumbass monkey. Atsuku fires up at the Monkey comment. Kaze shoves them to get moving. The three walk down the long bridge. They arrive at the boundary line of the city. Kaze gulps as they cross the border into enemy territory. It's a Saturday and the city is very busy. As they walk along Kaze and Raia can't help the fact that they're getting a lot of attention. They turn to Atsuku as he casually walks along with the straw hat, hawaiian shirt and black jeans with flip flops on in the middle of the city. Kaze sighs and asks how Atsuku can remain so relaxed considering the situation, Raia says that's just how he is. Kaze goes to praise Atsuku for keeping a level head when he turns around and sees Atsuku talking to a group of locals. The group points at him and Kaze is white with fear, thinking that the mission has only just begun and that they're already found out. Raia stops and sees the same thinking the same. The two look around thinking that they must've been followed when they hear "say cheese!" and look as Atsuku takes a photo with this group of people. Atsuku walks over and asks what's wrong. Kaze asks what that was. Atsuku replies they spoke some foreign language but were laughing and asked for a photo. And that they kept pointing to his hat calling him 'Straw Hat Man'. Raia says that Atsuku is impossibly stupid. The three continue on. Kaze says that they're best to turn down this road. As they do, a man bumps into Raia. The man dropped something and quickly says sorry and picks it up. Raia says that he should watch where he's going. The man stands up and is every bit as big as Raia. He responds that if he keeps up that attitude that it'll catch up with him. The man says sorry again and walks by. Kaze mentions how that guy looked scary. Raia says that he noticed an increase in The man's mana levels when he confronted him. Atsuku mentions the item the man dropped, that he'd seen it somewhere before. Kaze asks where. Atsuku says that when he was a kid, he was watching a tournament on tv. One of the competitors used an item very similar to what that man dropped to summon amazing power. Some kind of totem but he can't remember what the competitor did after that. Raia says that they have some weird types of Magic in Rondeletia. Kaze tells them to keep moving and that they're close to a place he knows to be a bit shady. The three get to the door of the establishment and Kaze says that this is the place and to not make a scene. Atsuku says yes while Raia had already walked in. Kaze freaks out knowing what is about to go down. The two head inside to find Raia in the face of one of the guards, telling them to move. Kaze runs up and puts on a rough accent saying that they're looking for a place to party, the guard says that Kaze and Atsuku look too young and tells them to get lost. Raia tells them to go too, and says that he doesn't need to be babysat. Kaze and Atsuku head outside and Kaze says that this is already going horribly wrong. The two are sitting outside when the guard that kicked them out comes out and tells them to come in and have an audience with the Boss. Atsuku and Kaze get serious. The guard leads them through to the back of the establishment and then to a door. The guard opens the door and Raia is seen sitting on a throne. Atsuku and Kaze are confused. Raia tells the guards to all leave, they do so. Raia says that these guys were pathetically weak and that he didn't even use any Magic. Atsuku questions Raia that he is now the Boss of this place. Raia says yes. Kaze asks what he learned. Raia tells them that there is an Underground Fighting Ring in this city and that they're having a special exhibition match tonight. Atsuku asks if Raia knows if Yuki will be there. Raia says that this is a good first lead, and that they can get a measurement of how tough this city really is. The three arrive to the Underground Fighting Ring and it is jam packed with rough looking gangsters, suave men in suits and rich looking people whom are up in small sky boxes. Kaze commends this place on the design, Atsuku mentions how rough it is and Raia can't help but get excited. The two fighters in the cage are bloodied, bruised and beaten up. One of them summons a mana sword and goes for his opponent. The opponent dodges and uses speed enhancement magic and starts to run around the sword holder. Sword holder is swinging left and right but can't seem to hit the speed user. Speed user starts to run on the cage wall and the crowd is roaring with excitement. Sword holder notices speed user on the cage and throws the sword at the cage, but Speed user uses the moment and grabs the sword and gets behind Sword holder and goes to attack. Sword holder then clicks his fingers and the sword explodes, badly burning Speed user's hand. Using this moment Sword holder throws a series of straight punches right to Speed users face, sending Speed user into a daze, before jumping and landing the finishing blow to the temple. Speed user smashes into the mat as the crowd erupts in laughter, excitement, ecstacy, happiness and some in sorrow that their pick lost. An intermediary comes into the ring to check on the Speed user as the referee holds up Sword holders hand in victory. Kaze is mortified, Atsuku is unwavered and Raia is pumped. Raia tells the two that he's gonna fight. Kaze tries to reason with Raia but ultimately fails. Raia walks up into the ring and the entire room goes quiet. "No one here can beat me" is all Raia says and it sends the place into an absolute rage. Everyone is yelling and screaming and threatening Raia when he looks at one of them and simply says "why don't you try it then, big man?" as the place is sent into a Frenzy. A loud voice can be heard coming from the megaphones around the arena "AMAZING!! WONDERFUL!!!! SPECTACULAR!!!! It seems we have a new Challenger! But... Will he be able to make it to the top or will he crumble like the rest? Let's find out RIGHT NOW! WAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!" the crowd explodes with this announcement, Raia isn't phased one bit. A big chunk of the wall opens up and out walks a rather large man holding a glowing Flail. Kaze comments how large that man is, Atsuku just watches intently. The man towers above Raia as he walks up and stares Raia down, or attempts to. The same voice from before roars out "AND HERE WE HAVE THE CHALLENGER'S FIRST OPPONENT. HAILING FROM THE DARK DEPTHS OF HELL, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!" the crowd is explosive and chanting "Aku! Aku!" in complete unison. Aku starts to spin the Flail around slowly flexing it and then slams it into the ground, creating a small crater, all the while Raia maintains eye contact. Aku is pandering to the crowd, making this a spectacle for them. The crowd is roaring obscenities and threats to Raia, telling him he's going to die. Raia remains unfazed. The referee begins the match and the bell rings. Aku immediately spins the Flail and throws it towards Raia at lightning speed. Fortunately Raia can literally become lightning, so he dodges it and gets up in Aku's face and uppercuts him sending him sailing into the ceiling headfirst. Aku's head is impailed in the ceiling and he is left hanging there. The crowd is in complete silence. "I didn't even get to use my Magic", needless to say, this sets the crowd ablaze as they scream that Raia cheated and that this is BS. The referee goes to hold Raia's hand in victory, but he can't unfold Raia's arms to do so. Atsuku says that's how he expected the fight to go. Kaze calls him out wondering if he just waits until he sees the results before saying anything just so he's right. Atsuku replies that as big and tough as Aku looked, his Mana levels just didn't compare to Raia so he could see the outcome clearly. Kaze internally asks how Atsuku can see stuff like that. Kaze goes to ask him when he is interrupted by the voice over the megaphone again "Calm down, everyone, p-please we will just move o-" something that sounds like interference cuts him off as the crowd goes quiet. "My, my, and what do we have here?" says a voice from behind Atsuku and Kaze. They quickly turn around as the man walks between them towards the ring. Atsuku is a little shocked and mentions how he didn't notice the man at all and thinks how long he's been standing there. The man gets into the ring and walks up to Raia. "Now now, you're quite the warrior aren't you? Your first fight and you take out one of my top fighters with one punch? Impressive." Raia responds that he was nothing special and if he's one of the best then no one has any hope of standing up to him. The man walks right up to Raia and looks him in the eye. "Oh, is that so?" The crowd has a silent buzz about it. Whispers of "ooh, is King gonna fight?" "no way, he hasn't fought here in years, he won't come out of retirement for some newcomer." King puts his hand up as if to hush the crowd. "Now, those of you in the audience who would like to see a spectacle the likes of nothing you've seen before please make some noise" with this the crowd cheers and woo's as loudly as possible. "Ohoho, seems they want it. But the real question here is..." King gets much closer to Raia, "... do you really want this, Lightning User?" Raia grins confidently "I hope you're prepared to lose a hell of a lot of money with two of your fighters due to be out of commission." King excitedly laughs. "So it seems that this brave young soul is asking for a championship opportunity, but can he do it? Can he take on one of The Pillars of Rondeletia? The man that holds everything together in this city? He needs no introduction, so here he is!" the crowd goes absolutely nuts as the ceiling opens up and a helicopter is floating above in the sky. Atsuku notices something odd about this set up, but before he can figure it out a man jumps out of the helicopter and lands directly inbetween King and Raia. The new guy slowly stands up and looks Raia dead in the eyes. Raia is again, unfazed. Atsuku evaluates the new guy and tells Kaze to observe his movements, Atsuku points out that this new guys very strong and that Raia isn't going to have an easy time with this fight. Kaze says that they should then go and interrupt the fight, Atsuku says that Raia will have a hard time but be okay in the end. The new guy finally speaks. "Oi, the hell is this? Why am I fightin' a-" King cuts him off "he's a new challenger to your championship, you will accept no?" "Fine. But you better not think you can summon me on any whims from now on" the new guy blurts out. "It's settled! Let us begin the Main Event of the evening. The newcomer uh.. um I'm sorry I never got your name." Raia gives King a death stare. "Oooookay then, The Newcomer versus our Reigning Champion, The Pride of Rondeletia, Batsuuuuu!! Now, let the match begin!" the bell rings and both fighters stay where they are waiting for the other to make the first move. Batsu sighs and says that it'll be one of these fights. Batsu encourages Raia to make the first move so that the audience can get a feel for how good he is. Raia says nothing in response. Batsu says that if Raia doesn't make the first move that he will. Batsu shrugs and starts to walk towards Raia. Both men are face-to-face again. The crowd is chanting for Batsu and against Raia. Batsu says that it's no fun when the opponent gives up and to give him a fun fight. Batsu opens his mouth and sighs again. Kaze's eye twitches. Raia then hits a lightning uppercut, Batsu is sent into the air and lands on the ground hard. The crowd is screaming in disbelief and anger. Raia isn't convinced that was enough to beat Batsu. He tells him to stop playing possum and get up. Batsu laughs and remarks that Raia is smarter than he looks. Batsu stands up and is unfazed by the punch. Kaze tells Atsuku that Batsu is up to something. Batsu runs towards Raia and throws a punch but Raia dodges and hits a lightning kick to the ribs of Batsu. Batsu is staggered and Raia takes this chance to close the gap and elbows Batsu in the side of the head, sending him into the cage and the cage buckles under the pressure and almost breaks. Batsu rolls onto the ground and is seemingly down. He gets back up and is again unfazed. Kaze says that Batsu isn't even trying to dodge these hits. Atsuku says that he must have a reason why he's taking the hits. Maybe he has some sort of magic that uses impact to its' advantage. Raia goes in again, but this time Batsu counters it and goes in and lands a kick on Raia but Raia managed to get his arms up to block just in time. Raia is pushed back by the impact. Batsu calls out that he thought he had Raia there but Raia is just too quick for counters like that. Raia sends out a lightning bolt straight at Batsu, he blocks it with his hands and the lightning is seen going straight from his hands, through his body, down to his feet and into the ground. Raia stops and says "Earth based..." Batsu laughs and says that it isn't only Earth type magic that he can use but also this. He then summons his mana in physical form and it cloaks his forearms and fists in a teal blue colour, as if to form gauntlets. "Kotekko" says Batsu. "Barrage Batsu is here!" the crowd screams "Here it is!! HERE IT IS!" Batsu rushes Raia and goes in for a left hook Raia checks it and electrifies his arm and blocks it using his right forearm and noticing how strong it is, strengthening his defense using his left arm as a brace. Raia looks to his left and Batsu's other fist is heading straight for his head and he has no defense. Batsu lands a clean right haymaker and sends Raia sailing into the cage, breaking clean through and smashing into the wall of the room. The crowd is ballistic with ecstacy and chanting and screaming that's what newbies get. Batsu walks to the break in the cage and looks over towards where Raia impacted the wall. Kaze and Atsuku are astonished. Kaze asks if this is what Atsuku expected. Atsuku comments that Batsu is hard to get a read on. Kaze and Atsuku run over to the edge of the crowd distanced from Raia. Batsu twitches as lighting bolts are sent everywhere, running from the wall out onto the floor and heading right for Batsu. Batsu holds his left hand out and blocks them with one hand. A large bolt is sent and Batsu quickly and slightly nervously gets his right hand on the ground and summons up a wall of earth to protect him from the large bolt coming from Raia. The smoke surrounding the impacted area fades out and Raia isn't there. The crowd is confused as to where he is. Atsuku and Kaze notice and quickly look over and in the air, Raia is on the ceiling crouched down. Batsu looks up but before he can register the situation Raia, at lightning speed, launches and lands a knee right in Batsu's face and smashes into the ground impacting the ground so hard that the floor of the ring implodes and the cage flies apart. Thick smoke from the rubble is swirling the arena as a shadowy figure stands tall. The smoke clears enough to see Raia standing after the sequence. The smoke clears and there is now a crater where the ring used to be. Batsu is lying on the ground as Raia turns around and walks out of the crater. The crowd peek over the edge of the crater and can't believe their eyes. Batsu is completely laid out. Raia is breathing heavily and bleeding from the mouth. Atsuku and Kaze get to Raia and Raia falls to one knee. Cut to Batsu and he smirks. He jumps out of the crater and lands up on the level ground. Atsuku and Kaze are stunned, Raia tries to get up but can't and instead feels and intense pain in his chest. Raia falls to the ground writhing in agony. "Are you finally feeling it, Lightning Guy?" Raia's eyes widen. "It normally only takes about 20 seconds for opponents to become immobilized but not you of course, Mr. Tough Guy" Batsu confidently tells. Flashback to right before the fight starts and shows when Batsu sighed when up close to Raia, highlighting Batsu's breath. "You are no normal guy are you? I've had some opponents fight it but in the end they all succumb rather quickly. How long were you fighting it, I wonder." Raia manages to get back up to one knee, breathing heavily. His vision is hazy but he musters the strength to get back to his feet. "Poison..." Raia manages to say. "Ahahaha you're one of the few to figure it out. I like you, Lightning Guy. But, it's time to end this. I wonder what will give out first, your will or your body." Batsu rushes in and goes to punch Raia but Raia gets away quickly and electrifies himself. Atsuku notes that Raia can't go on for long and that this is probably the final move. Raia holds his arm out and starts to pour his lightning into a ball. Batsu grins widely "YES! This is what I wanted. Mano a Mano. Let's do this!" Batsu pours mana into his gauntlets and enlarges them and rushes towards Raia. Raia grabs the ball and it brightly lights up his arm. "See if you can handle this" Raia manages to say. "Y'know what? Let's do this I won't use my Earth magic as a defense wahahaa!" Batsu excitedly announces. Raia focuses and lunges towards Batsu. Both men are headed straight for the other as they start to yell. Right as they're almost about to throw their punch Raia disappears again, this time he's headed behind Batsu. Batsu plants his feet on the ground and his left gauntlet's fingers too and wildly swings around and throws his punch behind him. Raia appears and the punch has already been thrown, he's been outsmarted again. Raia throws his arm up to try and absorb the blow and Batsu makes direct contact. The two overwhelming powers colliding causes a blast that sends out a large gust of wind that blows away some of the audience. The smoke dissipates quickly and Batsu is seen standing there in the same pose he was at he threw his punch, and Raia is nowhere to be seen. The crowd hears rubble fall and they look to see a large, gaping hole where a part of the wall used to be. Atsuku and Kaze sprint through the hole to find Raia, but he's not knocked out. Batsu looks down and sees two long tracks in the ground that lead to the hole in the wall. Kaze and Atsuku can't believe their eyes when they see Raia, standing with his arm still in the position it was when he blocked Batsu's attack. Batsu sees Raia standing there and himself can't believe it. "I-Impossible..." Batsu mutters. Kaze asks Raia if he's okay. "Just damn peachy" he replies as he slowly walks through the hole and towards Batsu. Batsu's facial expression is that of disbelief as he watches Raia limp towards him. "And the match is over!" says a voice from the crowd, it's King. "Absolutely spectacular match gentleman. Simply dazzling" King preaches as he walks inbetween the two combatants. "Unfortunately, I can't have you leveling my arena so this match is a draw. And therefore, still your champion Batsu!" The crowd is still in shock and they make no reaction. Raia falls to one knee again. Kaze grabs him and helps him back to his feet. "Let's give it up for our young challenger, please everyone what a valiant fight" King says as the crowd starts to clap but are still amazed at what just transpired. King walks up to Raia and extends his hand and gestures Raia to shake it. Raia does nothing as King reaches and forcibly grabs Raia's hand and says "I'd be more grateful if I were you three, you invaded my domain, completely out of nowhere and challenged everyone to a fight. Be glad I'm letting you go and not turning you in" King slyly says. Atsuku and Kaze perk up, taking into account what may have happened. "Ah, well thank you very much you're too kind King. We'll be going now" Kaze quickly retorts as they turn and walk away. As they get to the doorway, King calls out to them. "Oh one more thing, you guys." Kaze gulps as he looks at Atsuku nervously. Atsuku turns around to reply. "We really better be going, please excuse us" as the three walk out of the building. They get outside and head down a side street. "We're lucky to be alive, why'd you have to go do that Raia?" questions Kaze. "We had no leads so I created some" Raia replies. "In any case, that was too close for comfort. We need to find a place to lay low for a while. Everyone will know about the new guy who fought the underground fighting champion to a draw by the end of the day" Atsuku tells and the three walk, helping Raia along. Cut back to King, he calls out to Batsu. "Oi, why'd you let some new kid show you up like that eh? That's really bad for business." Batsu turns to King. "He was stronger than you said he was." King gets up in Batsu's face. "He only made it to the semi-finals of the Interschool Tournament, you won yours." "Shut up" Batsu snaps back. "I wonder about his friend with the sharp eyes though, that kid has something about him. He made it to the finals and almost won, Jiga just edged him out. And Jiga is a tough guy. What are they doing here, anyway?" King ponders. "How should I know? It's weird, sure but maybe they're just here to visit" Batsu replies. "I doubt it. Hang on, isn't the Boss giving an address to the Pillars tonight?" King questions. "Yeah, think it has something to do with the Boss? Those guys couldn't know anything about us at all" Batsu mentions. "It's just too coincidental. I'll get Kossori to follow them, see what they're up to" King plans. Kaze, Atsuku and Raia are seen booking into a hotel and getting to their room. Kaze mentions that the best way to get rid of Poison magic is to let your mana dismantle the invading mana and to not do anything strenuous. The three sit down and then all ask what they learned from that. Raia says that King definitely knows something. Kaze says that King got behind them without even noticing and that he'll be a tough one to try and question. Atsuku replies that he's one of the only leads they have. Raia tells them that they are wasting time sitting here and that they should get going. Kaze asks if Raia will be okay by himself. He says that he can take anyone who tries anything. Atsuku says that he'll do some recon around town and see what he can learn and that he'll go alone. Kaze worries that he'll be a target, Atsuku says he's hoping that happens. Also that it'll ease suspicion if he keeps to the main streets and just acts like a tourist. Raia mentions that they're probably being followed after how today went. Kaze says that it wouldn't surprise him but that he didn't sense anyone around. Atsuku says that that's something he'll hopefully find out too. Atsuku tells them that he'll be back by 7pm and that he'll do his best to come back with something. Atsuku heads out. Raia tells Kaze to go. Kaze says that Atsuku made this decision after everything that's gone on today. And that he seemed a little tense, so some alone time may be good for him. Cut to Atsuku outside and he reaches one of the main streets. He heads over to a shop and is checking out the merchandise. He is periodically trying on hats and glasses and subtly looking across the street to the tops of the buildings. As he puts a pair of sunglasses back, he sees a group of people his age walk past the shop talking and he hears the words 'new transfer student.' He instantly perks up and quickly gets out of the shop to follow them. He keeps his distance as he follows but keeps within earshot of the group. The girls in the group are talking about how cute she is and that she seems really friendly when she was introduced. The guys say that apparently her grades were amazing and that she could be a Student Council member no problem. The group goes around a corner and Atsuku follows suit. They stop in at a cafe and grab some food. Atsuku orders a drink and sits a few seats over from them. Atsuku messages Kaze that he's been following a group talking about 'a new transfer student who has amazing grades.' As he looks up from his phone he sees the group get up and leave, Atsuku panics for a second and gets up rather quick and bumps into a man, spilling his drink all over the man and falling over in the process. Atsuku apologises profusely but the man laughs and says that it's fine and The man holds his hand out to help Atsuku up. Atsuku is surprised that he's taken it so well. Atsuku offers to buy him some new clothes. The man says that there's no need and that he'll just get them washed. Atsuku says sorry again and goes to leave but the man offers to buy Atsuku another drink to cover the one he spilled. Atsuku says it's fine but the man insists. The man says that he's been here his entire life but doesn't recognise Atsuku, Atsuku replies that he's just here for a visit. Atsuku keeps looking over towards the group of students who are getting further and further away. The man buys Atsuku his drink and asks him if he's here visiting with anyone. Atsuku says that he's here with two of his friends just for a few days. The man says that his name is Ken, and asks what Atsuku's name is. Atsuku blurts out that his name is Honoshi. The man says that he likes that name. Atsuku says that he's very sorry but that his friends are waiting for him and that he needs to go. Ken says that it's okay, and adds that kids are so busy these days. He mentions his daughter and how she's so rebellious recently. Atsuku says that all he needs to do is talk to her and that it'll all work out. Ken thanks Atsuku and says that he's taken up enough of his time. Atsuku says thanks for the drink and leaves in pursuit of the group. Atsuku follows the direction of the group and gets around a corner only to lose their trail. Atsuku is annoyed and checks his phone to see the time is 5:30pm and mentions that he should start heading back soon. As he puts his phone in his pocket and looks up he sees a figure standing in the sunlight atop one of the buildings. Atsuku doesn't acknowledge the figure and turns around to head back to the hotel. The figure disappears. Time passes and the sun has almost set now. Atsuku has been keeping track of the figure and they are clearly following him. He can't work out why he can sense them now. He realises that they must want to be found then. Atsuku turns down an alley and is now heading away from the direction of the hotel. He walks for a few blocks and then suddenly turns a corner. Cut to the perspective of the stalker and they lose sight of Atsuku. They jump from building to building towards Atsuku's last known position. They get to right above where Atsuku was. They look down and Atsuku isn't there. "Don't move" whispers Atsuku as the stalker goes to move and notices heat on their lower back. Atsuku has his hand on their lower back and now his arm around their neck. "Go ahead, try escape. I REALLY want you to test me right now. How long have you been tracking me?" Atsuku firmly asks, warming his hand up. "N-Not long" the stalker says. Atsuku isn't impressed and heats his hand up, starting to burn the stalkers back. "O-Okay okay, man chill. Ever since you got to your hotel. I've been scoping you out since then" they quickly say. "Who sent you?" Atsuku firmly asks again, this time heating up his arm around their throat. "A-Ahh, holy crap dude I don't know his name. I'm just a hired guy alright" Atsuku squeezes even tighter as he says this. "LOOK I DON'T KNOW TAKE MY PHONE ALRIGHT IT'S HOW I FIND OUT MY TARGETS LET GO OF ME" the stalker yells out. Atsuku lets him go. The stalker falls to the ground, choking. Atsuku grabs the stalkers phone and checks his messages. He finds a contact with no name but he has multiple messages to and from. It just has descriptions of people and their last known locations. "Do you believe me now? I've never met them. I have no idea who they are. They give me a target, I follow them for a few days and report back every night, they drop me a bag of cash somewhere. That is honestly all of it" the stalker pleads. "I believe you. What do you know about me?" Atsuku asks. "There's three of you. Tall, buff guy, you and the guy about the same height and build as you with light brown hair. Buff guy was roughed up when you got to the hotel today. You went out on your own and followed a group of students until you got caught up with this guy at a cafe and lost them" the stalker says. "Why did you let me notice you before? What was your goal in doing that?" Atsuku asks. "My contact tells me that he wants the targets to feel a sense of fear in knowing that they're a target. First time I've been caught so I guess I ain't gettin' paid" the stalker sighs. "Actually, now I'm your contact. You're going to track someone for me, and no I won't pay you" Atsuku explains. "What?" the stalker questions. Atsuku lights his arm on fire "Oh, do we have a problem?" Atsuku threatens. "I-I guess not. Who am I going after?" the stalker asks. "His name is King. We met him shortly after getting here, he seems like he's the kind of guy who knows things. I want you to follow him around and report back to me. If you go rogue, I'll know. And I will put you down..." Atsuku quickly closes the gap and has his arm around the back of the stalkers neck, resting on him "...without hesitation." The stalker is terrified and understands the situation. "Oi, what should I put your name down as?" Atsuku asks. "Kossori, The Grand" he says. "Kossori, The Dumb. Got it" Atsuku says. "Oi, you bastar-" Kossori is interrupted by the sound of flames and backs off. "I'm Atsuku, by the way. We've had a long night so start tomorrow, I need to get back anyway. Send me a message when you head out. If you don't, I'll hunt you down" Atsuku threatens, again. "Y-Yeah" Kossori gives Atsuku a nervous thumbs up. Atsuku turns around and jumps off the side of the building. "What have you gotten yourself into, Kossori?" Kossori questions himself. Cut to the hotel, Raia is laying in bed and Kaze is watching tv. Atsuku opens the door and sits down. Kaze asks how it went. Atsuku retells how the afternoon went. Kaze asks if they can trust Kossori. Atsuku says that he doesn't trust him fully and that this whole thing is a gamble but Kossori seemed genuine in his answers. That he truly doesn't know who he is working for. Raia says that's a dangerous way to work but smart on his employers part. Kaze asks Raia how he's feeling. Raia says he's a bit sore but nothing he can't handle. Kaze mentions how he got real close to beating Batsu. Raia says that Batsu isn't a normal guy. Atsuku mentions how Batsu had an uncommon mana variation. Kaze says that you don't see poison often, let alone paired with earth and armoury. Raia says that he's never fought armoury type magic and that he didn't know how powerful it would be in combat. Atsuku tells them that when Batsu enlarged his mana gauntlets, that Atsuku could sense an almost immeasurable pool of mana within Batsu. Kaze asks how Atsuku can notice that. Atsuku tells Kaze that he's always been able to do it, and that he assumed everyone could. Kaze tells him that it's not normal and that Atsuku is the only one he knows who can. Raia says that if he'd just landed that last punch directly, that he'd have won. Kaze says that he's probably right. Atsuku says that he hopes that Batsu isn't in their way of getting Yuki back, otherwise it'll be a rough road. Kaze asks if Atsuku heard anything else. Other than the group, Atsuku says he heard nothing. Hopefully Kossori brings back something. Cuts to later that night, the three are in bed. Kaze is laying there awake, he can't sleep. He looks over to see the clock displaying 11:45pm. Kaze decides to get up and go for a walk. As the door shuts Raia's eyes open, he was awake too. Kaze walks out the front door of the hotel and walks down the road. The street lights are still on and he sees a cat in the distance. Kaze starts to think about his match during the Inter-School High Tournament. He analyses his matches and how his matches were close everytime. How Atsuku and Jiga and Raia had matches where they demolished their opponents. He says that wind isn't the best offensive type of magic out there but he has no other affinities so he has no other options. Kaze recounts his loss to Raia and how he felt like he could have done a lot more if he knew how to use his magic correctly. For the most part he's been just making tornadoes and throwing wind at people to fight. Kaze gets visibly frustrated and the wind picks up. Flashes of the losses he's taken and everything going on with the Student Council, all of the stresses are plaguing his mind at the moment as he screams in frustration. "Oi, what's the matter?" a voice calls out. Kaze turns around and Raia is standing there. "Why'd you yell out just now?" Raia asks. Kaze says that it's nothing and asks why Raia is out here. "Couldn't sleep and I heard you get up. Here to make sure you don't do anything stupid mainly" Raia says. "Oi I'm not the one who picked a fight with an entire underground fighting ring when we're supposed to be incognito" Kaze snaps back. "But mainly, I'm worried about Yuki. If she attacked Atsuku, that means that she's a threat, and I don't know if I can handle losing anyone else" Kaze solemnly states. Raia tells Kaze to go back to the hotel and get some sleep. They both head back. Right as they turn to leave something moves in a nearby tree, Kaze senses and throws a wind pulse into the tree, blowing most of the leaves off. Raia turns just in time to see the gust go through the tree. "DON'T SHOOT DON'T SHOOT!! Shit, I've had bad luck all day what did I do to deserve this." A figure lands before them and it's Kossori. Of course, Kaze and Raia don't know this. "My name is Kossori, I hope Atsuku-san told you about me" Kossori tells. "Don't sneak up on us like that. Any slower and Raia would've chopped your head off" Kaze explains. "Hehe I'd like to see him try-" Kossori is cut off by Raia zapping him quickly. Kossori falls to the ground and is instantly back up. "Anyway, we've got a big problem. Remember how Atsuku-san asked me to follow that King guy? Well, I've found something really interesting. Just a little while ago I saw King go to the High School along with Batsu. I don't know why but right before they entered the school gate, something really weird happened" Kossori says. "Something weird?" Kaze asks. "Get this, Batsu and King sunk into the ground" Kossori explains. "Sunk into the ground? You sure about that?" Raia questions. "I'm 100% sure I saw that. I sent Atsuku a message but he isn't replying and I looked around but I lost track of them completely" Kossori says. "Sunk into the ground? Was it a trap door?" Kaze asks. "I had a look, the ground was concrete there is no secret door or anything there. It might be some kind of magic but I can't be sure" Kossori sighs. "Atsuku said that he heard some people talking about a new transfer student who is a girl. Batsu and King both go to the High School and then disappear. It may be just a coincidence with the transfer student but we can't deny that that school is suspicious. I think we need to get in there somehow. We'll take this back to Atsuku and figure out our next move. Good work, Kossori" Kaze says. "I didn't exactly have a choice so..." Kossori replies. "It's late, call it a night if you want. You've given us something tangible, thank you" Kaze smiles. Raia and Kaze leave to go back to their hotel. Kossori smirks and disappears. Cut to a black screen, suddenly a spotlight turns on and the guy from the club who killed all those thugs is there. "Oi oi, am I the first one here? I hate it when I'm first, there's nothing to do here." A second spotlight clicks on to reveal a sharply dressed man in a white suit sitting on a chair with his legs crossed a few metres to the left of the first man. "Shut your mouth, Zetsu. You're disgusting" says the sharply dressed man. "The hell did you just say Nebel? I'll kill you asshole!" Zetsu retorts sternly. "Zetsu. You're plaguing the room with your breath. Die" replies Nebel. Zetsu is fuming and goes to attack Nebel. Suddenly King appears in front of Zetsu  "Woah-ho there Zetsu-san, let's not do this here. I'd be glad to put on this fight as my main event next week if you two are interested?" King jokingly says. "I would never be caught touching that filth in my life" Nebel says. "Nebeellllllll you bastard" Zetsu is grinding his teeth. "Now now, let's be cordial in The Chamber, gentleman" a voice says walking into a spotlight, it's Batsu. King walks and sits in his chair, his spotlight flashing on. Zetsu goes back and sits in his seat as Batsu sits in his. Loud footsteps can be heard, as well as some quieter ones, heading towards the Pillars. The Pillars all turn to look towards the blank spot at the head of The Table, as a spotlight flashes on and an rather tall man and a young girl enter it. The young girl is undoubtably Yuki, and the man with her is... The Man Atsuku ran into at the cafe, Ken!? "My, my it has been a while hasn't it?" Ken says. "Old man! How ya been?" Zetsu blurts out. "Zetsu! Show some respect you buffoon" Batsu yells. "It's quite all right, Batsu-kun, Zetsu has been like this since I met him" Ken replies laughing. "I have been well, Zetsu no, all of you. I am sorry for my absence as of late. I left you all without warning, I do apologise" Ken bows his head. Batsu, Zetsu and Nebel all stand in shock. "L-Lift your head, Master. There is no need to apologise!" Nebel says. "Y-Yes, we are more than capable of holdin' down the fort, Boss" Zetsu nervously blurts. "M-Master, please this is foolishness. We need not know of your goings on as they must be of great importance" Batsu very skiddishly and formally exclaims. King smirks. "Great bunch you got here, eh Boss?" King says. "I am truly blessed to call you all The Pillars of Rondeletia. Now, to the matter at hand" Ken politely replies. "May I introduce to you the newest member of The Pillars of Rondeletia, my daughter, Yuki" Ken states. "You had a daughter? Where has she been, Ken?" King questions. "Yuki-chan has been rather angry at her Dad for quite some time now, but she came to me for help in getting stronger and so here she is in her new home of Rondeletia High School" Ken explains. "She wanted to get stronger so she can protect herself and her friends, but she was stagnating at that inferior High School over in Alchemilla" Ken says. Batsu and King both twitch. "M-Master, are you aware of the movements of some Alchemilla residents?" Batsu asks. "Yes, I am Batsu-kun. Do not worry about them. They are but insects in our city. I've already sent word out. Their fire shall soon be extinguished" Ken states. "Y'know one of them destroyed my ring, right? It'll take weeks to get the UFR up and running again" King ventingly responds. "Master, there were 3 of them. One of them challenged me, I let my guard down and got too excited. It is my fault, King" Batsu apologises. "Oh come on, Champ. It ain't your fault some runts decided to have a little fun. Besides, Boss says they'll be gone soon, all is right with the world" King pauses. "But, that kid with the sharp eyes. There were plenty of opportunities to make a move, so why didn't he?" King questions as Yuki's eyes twitch. "It was weird, but his big friend was way stronger than he showed during his fights at the tournaments, it caught me off guard" Batsu replies. "Didn't you say there were 3 of them, King?" Nebel asks. "Yeah, there was. The kid with the sharp eyes, the guy who challenged Batsu and their friend with the light brown hair", Yuki's eyes begin to widen, "he didn't do anything either. Honestly, it was hard to even notice he was there" King describes. Yuki's eyes are open wide. "At...suku..." Yuki mutters. Ken notices Yuki and leans down. Picture Ken looking like a pastel drawn Demon here. "Yuki-chan, what's wrong?" Ken asks as Yuki looks at him with wide open eyes as she sees him as a devil. Yuki shuts down. "Nothing, Father-sama" Yuki robotically replies. Ken smiles. "Now, there is one last thing. Zetsu, how did the initial meeting with Alchemilla's Principal go?" Ken asks. "O-Ooh, good good. She can't wait to talk to you. She was all business, kinda boring" Zetsu says leaning back on his chair. "I will be meeting with her tomorrow, thank you for retrieving her" Ken replies with a smile. "Is there anything else we need to discuss?" Ken asks. Nebel raises his hand. "Sir, about things on my end" Nebel says. "Ohhh, have you found anything?" Ken asks. "Actually Sir, I have. And I would like to begin examination immediately, but my team has encountered something problematic with transport" Nebel explains. "And what's the problem?" Ken asks. "We can't seem to get it out of the region it is located in" Nebel replies. "Is it a border issue?" Ken asks. "No, Sir. the fact of the matter is that no matter what method, we cannot move the Crystal from its current position" Nebel sternly replies. "What? What do you mean cannot move?" Ken angrily questions. "Well, Sir, we've tried everything we can think of to move it. We've cleared all of the rock surrounding it except the fact it has a link that goes underground. We've yet to follow it due to achaeological depth restrictions in the area" Nebel explains. "Shit, I didn't expect this. I shall accompany you on your next trip and see this for myself. When were you next expected to visit?" Ken asks. "I-In about 3 days-" Nebel is cut off. "Nonsense, we leave first thing tomorrow morning" Ken interrupts. "Y-Yes, Sir" Nebel says. "We shall meet when we get back from the digsite, in the meantime, you are all in charge. I'm counting on you" Ken says as he and Yuki turn and walk out of the dimly lit room. Cut back to Atsuku and co. and it's morning. 7:25am is on the clock as Kaze sits up and looks over to Raia on the couch asleep and to Atsuku's bed but he's nowhere to be seen. Kaze sighs and gets out of bed. Kaze heads down to the street and walks down towards the main street. He is looking for Atsuku. Kaze sits down to have a bite to eat at one of the cafe's. He looks up and sees Atsuku. He shoves the remainder of his toast in his mouth and runs after Atsuku. He almost catches up to him when he accidentally bumps into a man. The man turns around and threatens Kaze. Kaze apologises profusely and quickly rushes back after Atsuku. He's rushing through a crowd of people when he notices something odd. He keeps rushing and brushes off what he noticed when he bumps into another man. It's the same man. The man threatens Kaze again and Kaze apologises for bumping into the man again and the man says "again?" The surroundings warp and bend. "What the-" Kaze manages to mutter before he notices someone behind him. He immediately sends a gust of wind behind him, turning around in the process. A figure is standing there. "Jeez you don't hold back do you?" says a voice. "Heh, not when I get threatened by the same guy twice and the buildings start to bend. I guess you could say you gave me a fright" Kaze says. "Well, I've got a job to do so I'm sorry to say kid but you're going to disappear now" the figure says. The figure rushes Kaze, Kaze back peddles and throws out a few gusts of wind. The figure dodges them easily and pulls out a knife and goes to slice Kaze. Kaze avoids it and creates some distance, but hits a wall. This stuns Kaze and the attackers takes advantage by jumping right at Kaze. Kaze dodges at the last minute, the knife hitting the invisible wall and bouncing the attacker back. Kaze grabs the knife and takes it from the attacker. Kaze now had the upper hand. "What do you gain from this? Who do you work for?" Kaze demands answers. "Shut up" the attacker puts their hands on the ground and summons ice spears from the ground. The attacker jumps onto the spears quickly and rushes Kaze again. Kaze is still in the process of dodging the spears. The attacker lunges for Kaze with a punch but Kaze read the attackers move and spins and creates a tornado, sucking up the attacker into it and spitting them out into a nearby wall. The attacker struggles to their feet. "Give up" Kaze firmly tells. "Hmph, he wouldn't like that!" the attacker throws their hands up in the air and Kaze notices that his tornado shattered the ice spears the attacker summoned. The attacker sends ice shards flying towards Kaze. Kaze reacts quickly by throwing up a gust of wind in front of himself, blocking the shards and sending them into the air. The attacker has flanked Kaze in the process and is within inches of him. Kaze instantly, somehow, has already sent an elbow out and nails the attacker in the jaw and sends them sailing and slamming into the ground. Kaze is amazed at himself for reading the enemy that far ahead. He looks over to see the attacker forming two ice spears and spins them around and into a battle stance. Kaze still has the knife but feels inferior in comparison. The attacker runs to the right and is running circles around Kaze. Kaze can't seem to keep up, so he creates another tornado. The attacker reads this and gets away just in time.  Kaze drops the tornado and he's lost sight of the attacker. The attacker appears behind him and slams him with one of the spears in the side of the head, knocking Kaze down to his hands and knees. Kaze rolls over and the attacker has the spear at Kaze's throat. Kaze is full of fear, he has been this entire fight. "You put up a decent fight kid, but it's over" the attacker says. Kaze's heart is pounding, sweat is beading down his face. Is this where he meets his end? In a warped version of reality by some guy he's never met in a city he doesn't know for a reason he will never find out? "Dammit, Raia would've never gotten into this situation. Atsuku would be able to get out of thi-" Kaze says internally but cuts himself off. "You said your final prayers eh? Okay, let's get this over wi-" the attacker is cut off by Kaze opening his mouth and sending out a massive gust of wind, shattering the spear in the attackers hand and sending him flying. The attacker struggles to his feet and looks over to see Kaze do the same. "Y'know" Kaze says. The attacker twitches. "I always think about how my friends wouldn't get into these situations because they're way stronger than I am. But Yuki needs me. They all need me. And I'm not going down here" Kaze announces. The attacker morphs the remaining spear into a staff. "Actually, the past few days got me thinking" Kaze says. The attacker's eyes widen. "Everyone else can make physical objects with their mana, so why can't I?" wind starts to circulate around Kaze. He lifts his left arm up wth his fist in front of his face and closes his eyes. He exhales slowly. "I've never really thought about using wind to make an object because it wouldn't be physical. But I can speed up wind, so why not try something like this?"  Close up of his eyes as he opens them and zoom out to show him with a large, shark fin like wind blade on his left forearm. "Pressure Blade." The attacker is frozen still. The attacker snaps out of it. "So what? You're no match for me at close range kid" the attacker gloats. "Let's try it then, shall we?" Kaze retorts. The attacker is angered and rushes in towards Kaze. The attacker grabs the staff overhead and slams it down onto Kaze, but Kaze blocks it with his Pressure Blade. The fast circulating wind bounces the attack off of the blade and Kaze throws a right punch and barely misses the attacker. The attacker back pedals and puts his hand to the ground and summons giant ice spears again going straight for Kaze. Kaze reaches back with his bladed arm and hurls a slice of wind towards the ice spears, slicing them clean in half. The attacker is in disbelief. Kaze has been circulating wind around himself the entire time and has picked up the remaining ice shards and sends them towards the attacker. The attacker defends themselves with the staff, managing to deflect every shard. But in doing this, they have left themselves open to Kaze who has closed the gap and is about to slice them when they slam the staff into the ground and freezes the top of the ground. Kaze, noticing the subtle change in the attackers stance, slams the ground with his blade right as the ground is frozen and ice shards and rubble are sent everywhere. The dust settles and Kaze and the attacker are on the opposite sides of a large slice in the ground.  Kaze is starting to feel drained. This blade is taking a large amount of mana to keep stable and a lot of control to keep it flowing. This fight needs to end soon. "Dammit kid, I wanted a nice easy job to end my week. But of course not" the attacker vents. The attacker grasps the staff. "I'm ending this now." Kaze braces. The attacker jumps and Kaze looks up. The attacker summons ice spears from the ground and catches Kaze off guard. He gets roughed up by a few but manages to avoid most of them. He lands back on solid ground when the attacker slams right down and Kaze barely manages to dodge. He swings but misses with his blade. His breathing has gotten heavier. The blade is losing stability. The attacker notices this and rushes in again, forcing Kaze to block and use the blade on the left side, depleting it as fast as possible. The blade disappears and Kaze panics for a moment. The attacker uses this and flanks Kaze and lands a blow, knocking him groggy. Kaze stumbles forward and falls to his hands and knees. The attacker walks towards Kaze slowly, knowing victory is all but assured. Kaze looks down and notices something. He sees the attackers shadow to his right, walking towards him from behind. Kaze lets out an omni-directional gust of wind. The attacker is caught off-guard. He looks back over at Kaze as Kaze begins to rush in. The attacker takes a defensive stance and goes to run but just as he takes his first step Kaze throws some ice shards he had in his hand and uses his wind to launch them towards the attacker at full speed. The attacker is forced to stop and try deflect the shards. Kaze has a second hand full of them and launches those as well. The attacker, occupied by deflecting the shards, rushes towards Kaze while deflecting them. Kaze yells as he launches towards the attacker being propelled by his wind. The attacker gets done with deflecting the shards as Kaze sends out a large gust at incredible speed right at the attacker only for the attacker to dodge by jumping over it. Kaze is surprised as the attacker spins the staff around above his head and goes to slam it onto Kaze. Kaze, still using the momentum of his propulsionary wind, rolls forward mid-air, splits his legs wide open to avoid the spear, barely missing his head and rolls under the attacker. Kaze plants his feet in the ground, breaking the surface a bit, stops his momentum by crouching on the ground and jumps up and goes to throw a right punch bartolomeo style. The attacker has no time to turn around to avoid it. Right as Kaze goes to throw the punch, a gust of wind hits his right forearm and his forearm lights up with a Pressure Blade. Kaze slices The Attacker right across the back sending him sailing into the ground, breaking the surface. Kaze lands on his feet, breathing heavily. He looks at his Pressure Blade and then looks at The Attacker. He walks over to The Attacker and rolls them over. They're breathing heavily, bloodied and dirty but still alive. Kaze stands back up. "I'm going to ask you again, why did you attack me?" he asks. "Wh- Are you serious, kid? That's your first question. Shouldn't it be 'Who do you work for'?" The Attacker strugglingly jokes. Kaze stands on The Attackers right knee. "It's pretty obvious who, I want to know why" Kaze replies. "Oh, it's obvious is it? Then tell me kid, who sent me?" The Attacker questions. "I-It was King, right?" Kaze nervously replies. "Oh, kid. Kill me if I ever take an order from that idiot" The Attacker replies. Kaze is stunned, all of his deductive reasoning has just been proven wrong. "I will tell you one thing though, seeing as you bested me" The Attacker says. Kaze listens intently. "King isn't the man you're after, the one who "Upholds Authority" in this city is your guy" The Attacker says intently. Kaze looks puzzled as he hears the man mumble something. "What was that?" Kaze asks. "MOVE!!" The Attacker yells. Kaze can sense a change in the air currents as he darts back and a large amount of mana implodes on The Attacker. Kaze can only watch on in horror as The Attacker is being shrunken into a tiny field of mana as he screams at the top of his lungs. The force of this is reaching outward and trying to grab Kaze. He creates a wind barrier with the last shreds of his mana he has left as he sees The Attacker disappear behind a massive amount of mana. Kaze averts his eyes of the shining brightness as it dissipates. He looks back to see everything is back to normal. He is standing on the sidewalk of a street. Kaze looks over at a building and it is displaying the time. It says 8:34am. Kaze decides to head straight back to the hotel and tell Raia and Atsuku what just happened. The camera zooms from where Kaze just was and goes to the top of a building. Gusts of wind can be seen coming from said building. At the top Ken and Nebel are getting into a helicopter. "What's our ETA?" Ken asks. "Around 1100 hours, Sir" replies the Pilot. "Hmph, fast as you can" Ken sternly replies. "Yes!" the Pilot says. "Do you have any idea how to solve this problem, Sir?" Nebel asks Ken. "I'll need to have a look but I think I may, and if all else fails, Yuki-chan will help Daddy won't she?" Ken asks Yuki. Yuki looks at Ken's face and sees the Devil she saw before. "Yes, Father-sama" Yuki robotically replies. The helicopter flies off into the sky towards a Desert Region. Cut to Kaze slowly opening the door to the hotel. He waltzs in and leans on the counter. "Oi oi, the hell happened to you?" Raia questions. "Where's Atsuku?" Kaze asks. "Dunno, you've both been gone since I got up. Seriously, are you okay?" Raia asks. "Just need, ah, some rest" Kaze sits down. "I ran into someone 'interesting" Kaze says. "He said he had a job to do and that he was gonna make me disappear" Kaze recounts. "Did you kick his ass?" Raia asks. "Barely, I'd say I won but it was real close. But something he said, I just, I can't seem to make sense of it" Kaze puzzlingly says. "What was it?" Raia asks. "King isn't the man you're after, the one who "Upholds Authority" in this city is your guy" Kaze quotes The Attacker. "What, is it the Mayor? None of them look like they can do anything other than spew crap about politics" Raia says. "It wasn't what he said that has me confused, it's how he said it. How he said "Upholds Authority" it just seems like there was more of a meaning to those words. But before I could ask him anything else, a mana implosion went off and sucked him into a void" Kaze says, squeezing his hands. "Implosion? No way" Raia says. "Oi, Raia?" Kaze asks. "Wha-" Raia looks at Kaze's face. Kaze's face is pure fear, desperation and is completely terrified. "What the hell are we in the middle of?" Kaze says. "I-I don't know" Raia says. Kaze looks at the table. "But I do know one thing. I may not be as friendly with Yuki as you or Atsuku, but we're doing the right thing. This isn't like her, besides, I still don't understand calculus" Raia says, turning around. "Aha..." Kaze mutters. Raia turns back around. "Ahahahaha!!" Kaze bursts out laughing. "O-Oi, shut up it's all confusing!" Raia frantically yells. Kaze continues laughing. "Raia" Kaze says. Raia looks at Kaze. "Thanks for talking me down. I'll be fine. Yuki needs us. Let's go find Atsuku" Kaze says with a look of determination. The show on tv is suddenly interrupted by breaking news. "Breaking News! A building in the main street has come ablaze as local reports suggest that the building is still occupied. We take you live to the scene" the newsreporter says. "As you can see, the building is engulfed in a large blaze of scorching fire. Firefighters and bystanders with water affinities are desperately trying to put out the blaze but the fire keeps climbing the building" the newsreporter says. Kaze and Raia look on in horror. Something then darts across the screen, in front of the camera and goes into the building. It then comes back out, holding a civilian. It's Atsuku. "Wha-" Kaze is shocked. Atsuku is seen dashing in and out of the building saving civilians from the blaze as on-lookers are roaring with cheers and praise. Atsuku is taking longer and longer between civilians but still bringing out out each time he goes in. The crowd of people on the ground are calling out people in the windows to Atsuku as he goes and saves them. Atsuku comes out with a lady and places her on her feet. "That's the last one" he says breathing rather heavily and coughing. His clothes are all dirty and seared in places. The crowd is cheering him on. The news reporter at the scene runs over to Atsuku for an interview. "That was absolutely incredible young man, what is your name?" "Wh-Who me? I-It's Honoshi" Atsuku lies. "Honoshi, that was incredibly brave. Why did you throw yourself into a burning building and possibly into harms way?" the reporter asks Atsuku. "It was the right thing to do. I had the ability to help people and so I did" he says. "You are an amazingly brave young ma-hey do you min-ahhh!" the cameraman is shoved and so is Atsuku. "My bad..." a tall man moves towards the burning building. Atsuku turns around to see the man grab hold of a pendant he is wearing. Atsuku's eyes widen. The man holds his hand up and the pendant in his other hand. A large portal like hole opens above the building and an incredible torrent of water opens up, roaring straight down the building, putting out the fire but also is coming straight for the ground. The water itself covers the entire building. The man then let's go of the pendant and summons another large portal the size of the building right above the people on the ground (portal goes around the building with the building in the center). The water then goes through that portal and disappears, the man retracts the portals. Everyone is in absolute shock, including Atsuku. "Right..." The man turns and goes to walk away. "What did you say your name was, Honoshi? I'll remember that" as The man walks away. Kaze and Raia look on in disbelief, mouths gaping open. The reporter and the cameraman get their wits about them and start to talk about what just transpired. Atsuku makes a quick getaway. Atsuku opens the door to the hotel room. He sees Kaze and Raia, they don't look too happy. Kaze grabs him by the collars and is shaking him, comedically. "You idiot!! This entire time we've been trying to "lay low" weren't they your words exactly? And now you go and plaster your face all over the city with your heroics" he lets go. "Ahhhh! We're doomed, everyone will be wanting your autograph now and we won't be able to move around under-the-radar like we've been trying to" Kaze falls into a heap on the ground. "So, that water-guy" Raia says. "Yeah, that was insane. I've never seen anything like it" Atsuku says. "We couldn't see much due to the camera being knocked down but we saw enough to know this guy is super strong" Kaze says, sitting up. "Raia, remember that guy who walked into you when we first got here?" Atsuku asks Raia. "Yeah, the dumbass with the pendant?" Raia asks. "This guy had a pendant too. And he grabbed it before opening the first portal for the water, but he let go to open the bottom portal to drain the water" Atsuku explains. "So he needed it to summon the water but not open the portals?" Kaze remarks. "I don't know at all. These pendants are serious business" Atsuku says. "So, did you find anything on your adventure this morning other than thousands of adoring fans?" Kaze asks. "Sadly, no. I tried going to the school to follow up on something Kossori messaged me but I found nothing" Atsuku says. "Oh, right. Raia and I met him last night" Kaze says. "Oh, did you?" Atsuku asks. "Yeah, he said that he followed King and Batsu to the school and they 'sunk into the ground' out the front?" Kaze recalls. "Yeah, he text me that last night but I was asleep. So he told you guys, anything else?" Atsuku asks. "No, I told him to get some rest otherwise he'd burn out doing work for us" Kaze says. "Ooh, Kaze did get his ass kicked this morning though" Raia adds. "Huh?" Atsuku murmers. "I totally beat him, didn't I Raia?" Kaze says. "Oi, are you alright?" Atsuku asks. "Yeah, it happened when I went to go looking for you. I think I found you and went to catch up to you when I ran into the same guy twice in a row, about 30 seconds between each other" Kaze retells. "The same guy?" Atsuku questions. "Yeah, I literally ran into the same guy, the same way, twice in a row" Kaze says. "How is that eve-" Atsuku stops. "Illusionary Magic" Atsuku says. "I think that was it too. I wonder if the guy I fought was your friend from the other night" Kaze says. "You fought him!?" Atsuku is surprised. "I barely scraped by but I did beat him. He was out to kill me. Which means that there may be more, so keep your guard up at all times" Kaze says. "Did you find anything out?" Atsuku asks. "After I beat him, he said something strange. He asked me who I thought was behind this attack, I said King. Then he said "King isn't the man you're after, the one who "Upholds Authority" in this city is your guy" Kaze explains. "There was something odd about the way he said "Upholds Authority" almost as if there was another meaning" Kaze says. "Upholds Authority..." Atsuku says. "Well, let's get back out there. We said we'd try the school but Atsuku gave that a look and nothing so, where do we try next?" Raia asks. "Hmmm, I think I'll get a hold of Kossori and see if he's found anything" Atsuku says. "That's probably our best bet. I'm gonna head out" Raia says. "Are you sure you're fine?" Kaze asks. "I'll be fine" Raia replies. Raia leaves the room. "Well, I'm gonna head out and meet up with Kossori, he just text me with a meeting spot. You gonna stay here?" Atsuku asks Kaze. "Y-Yeah, I'll calm down here for a bit. Still a little roughed up" Kaze replies. "I'll be back before sundown" Atsuku says. Atsuku leaves the room. Kaze exhales. "My, my Mr. Kaze you seem to have been in a tight spot a while ago" Kaze jumps up out of his seat. A portal opens and it is the Student Council Chairman. "Couldn't afford a nicer room?" SCC asks condescendingly. Kaze seems to be frozen, knowing why he's here. "So" SCC says. Kaze jumps as he speaks. "What progress have you made thusfar?" SCC asks. "N-Not a lot" Kaze replies nervously. "Hooo... It was my understanding that this was going to be a quick skirmish. I did tell you that if you're caught, you will face severe punishment because 'He' will know what school you're from. And it seems to me that you've been involved with quite the number of 'events' throughout the city in just a few short days" SCC pauses as a bead of sweat rolls down Kaze's face. "So tell me, Mr. Kaze. Are you ready to face your punishment?" SCC poses Frieza style with his hands out to the sides. Kaze gulps. "Y-Yes, I am Chairman" Kaze replies. Chairman raises his hands. Kaze shuts his eyes and braces for whatever is to come. Suddenly, Chairman's phone vibrates. "Oh, hold on" Chairman gets out his phone and answers it. "Hello? No, I'm not busy I'm just with Kaz-Eh? You're sure? Shit, I'll be right there" Chairman puts his phone back in his pocket. "Kaze, You will see this through, only because it is concerning my school. Do not fail, Mr. Kaze" SCC opens a portal and disappears. Kaze opens his eyes. He exhales heavily. He raises and looks at his hand, it is shaking uncontrollably. He clenches his fist. "Dammit" Kaze says. Cut to Atsuku as he is on a rooftop. "Why do you even try hiding anymore? You know I know you're there" Atsuku says as Kossori appears. "Believe it or not it's not you I'm hiding from" Kossori says. "What do you mean?" Atsuku asks. "I think I have someone tailing me, but I can't tell exactly where they are or if they are even tailing me" Kossori replies. "Well, try make sure to tell me this before you say we're good to meet. So, what have you found?" Atsuku asks. "Honestly, nothing substantial. I found King earlier this morning, he was having lunch with a younger girl. Don't know if there's any relation or anything. He then got in a Limo and left the city" Kossori says. "Kaze ran into someone who tried to take him out. The guy said that King isn't who we're looking for but the man who 'Upholds Authority' in this city. My first thought would be the Mayor but he's harmless" Atsuku says. "Do you have any other ideas?" Kossori asks. "The Principal has a reputation as a Dictator as the school, but no one has said anything about him at all. It seems like no one talks about it, either. But I checked the school this morning and other than some teachers doing work, I found nothing" Atsuku says. "Well, it is Sunday so no kids would be at school" Kossori says. "I wish we could get in and have a look around, but the sensors around the perimeter stop any of us from getting in there" Atsuku says. Kossori points to himself "I'm a student there." Atsuku's mouth is hanging from his mouth. "Why... didn't you lead with that?" Atsuku asks dombfoundedly. "What? It never came up and it's the weekend. I don't want to go to school on a weekend" Kossori says. Atsuku lights up his fist "I'm gonna deck you." Kossori notices something and turns around. "Aww, there it is again. Someone shows up and then disappears within a second. It's like they wanna get found" Kossori says. "So, go find them" Atsuku says. "I'm a ninja, I don't show myself. I stay cloaked in the darkness" Kossori says. "Try find something. Anything will do at this point. We're pretty much back to square one. We were chasing the wrong guy, so we're out of ideas now. We need a miracle" Atsuku says. "I'll try my best" Kossori disappears. Atsuku decides to blend in with the crowds on the streets and try that approach again, so he jumps off the building and lands in a side-street. Fast forward a few hours of searching and Atsuku is walking across a street towards a park. He sees an ice cream salesman with his mobile shop there so he decides to get one. He pays and turns around to see King standing a fair distance away, staring straight at him. King motions Atsuku over to him, after doing so King turns around and sits down on the park bench. Atsuku tentatively walks over and sits down next to King, still holding his ice cream. "It's been a while, Honoshi-kun. You been well?" King asks. "I've been fine" Atsuku says. "Y'know, I saw you on the news earlier. Impressive stuff. Very heroic. You ought to be rewarded" King says. "Why are you here, King?" Atsuku firmly asks. "Straight to the point, eh? Fine then Atsuku" King says. Atsuku's eyes widen, he realises that he's been found out, by King no less. "I'll admit I'm not exactly sure why you're here, nor do I really care, but Atsuku from one man to another. Leave now. Take your little friends and leave. You're pissing off the wrong people with your actions and if you go any further, things will only get worse. You're a strong guy, Atsuku. Don't waste that potential here. I saw your fight with Jiga, and man you're something. So leave and never return" King sternly explains. A wind gust flows through the park, whipping up leaves and throwing them around. "I can't do that" Atsuku says. King's eyes twitch. "Atsuku-" King is cut off by Atsuku. "Nothing you say will stop me. None of this made sense in the first place. But at least something has finally been confirmed" Atsuku says. Atsuku stands up and turns to King. "I know I'm pissing off the right people by being here. And that's exactly what I want" Atsuku says as King stands up. "So" Atsuku lights up his arm. "Are you going to tell me where Yuki is or is this gonna get messy?" Atsuku questions King. "Ahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAA!! Oh man, you crazy bastard Atsuku. I liked you already for taking it to that bastard Jiga but you are just full of surprises. Very well then, I'll take the messy option" King replies. Atsuku smiles. King walks away from Atsuku and stops to turn around. Atsuku takes a fighting stance. King turns around and stands there. "Let's go" King says. In that instant Atsuku rushes and throws a punch right at King's face. King has caught it, fire and all. Atsuku pulls back and spins counter-clockwise for a kick, King blocks that as well. Atsuku pulls back again. King is still standing still. Atsuku rushes King again and throws out a fireball, King deflects it and blocks the roundhouse kick Atsuku throws out. Atsuku goes to pull back but King keeps hold of him this time and throws Atsuku towards some trees. Atsuku is sent sailing through multiple trees and lands hard on some rocks in a rockpool area. Atsuku jumps up in the air. He goes for an attack but then King is there within an instant. Atsuku barely has time to react as King kicks him back down to the ground. Atsuku is blasted into the ground, breaking the surface upon impact and creating a large crater. King lands on the ground and looks at the crater. He turns to walk away as a large firey explosion comes forth from the crater. Atsuku lands on the ground, his clothes in tatters and a bloodied face. He is engulfed in flames. Atsuku is staring right at King. "O-hoho you're scary man" King sarcastically says as Atsuku holds his right arm with his fist to his heart. Then extends it to the right quickly, releasing an incredible pressure and lighting Atsuku in a lighter shade of flames, very orangey. "Haaah... Now the big boy's out to play" King says. Atsuku immediately closes the gap and lands a punch right in King's face. King is sent flying towards the trees and breaks through multiple, landing hard against one of them. "Pheewwww, I see why Jiga had such a hard ti-AHHH!" King's face is bloodied. King looks up as Atsuku is in the air holding a rather large fireball. He sends it down towards King. The fireball hits the ground and explodes. King appears behind Atsuku in the sky, Atsuku blocks a kick from King but is sent down towards the ground. Atsuku is flipping backwards and lands feet first, cracking the surface a bit. King lands on the ground. King is grinning widely. Both men charge in and clash forearms. They pull back and King disappears. He appears in front of Atsuku and lands a knee on Atsuku's chin, King grabs Atsuku by the left leg and swings him around and throws him backwards from where he was. Atsuku lands on his feet and sends out a torrent of flames from his mouth. King reaches back and karate chops towards the flames, splitting them in half. He then teleports to the left of Atsuku and appears. Atsuku has predicted this and hits a lightning fast right kick on King in his ribs immediately followed up by a knee to King's chin. King is flung into the air and lands on the ground. Atsuku takes a defensive stance. King gets back up, spitting out blood. He wipes his face and looks at his hand to see blood. King's face is ecstatic and it almost seems like he has a shift in personality. "Yes, YES, YEEESSSSS!!!" King screams. "It's been too long since I've seen my own blood. Atsuku! Let's get serious now!" King yells as he teleports again and this time is behind Atsuku. King lands a King hit punch on Atsuku right in the right side of his temple. Atsuku is sent sailing towards the barrier of the park. Atsuku regains his senses right before he hits the barrier, and manages to land feet first. He shatters the bricks and the portion of the barrier he collided with but the top part, which is made up of spikes held together by a bar (you must be able to imagine it). Atsuku grabs one of the spike portions and charges back at King. Atsuku throws the spikes at King as he charges towards him. King stops the spikes with his hand, one of the spikes piercing right through his right hand. Atsuku is shocked for a moment, and in that moment King teleports right in front of Atsuku and is already throwing a punch. Atsuku is charging in mid-air so he throws up his hands to block it. King then moves to the side slightly and punches down, punching Atsuku in the back and sending him into the ground. King is breathing a bit heavily. "Shit, must be getting rusty" King says as he turns to walk away. He stops and his eyes twitch as a figure can be seen through the dust. The dust settles and Atsuku is standing behind him. Imagine that framed the same way Luffy v Lucci was whe Luffy almost went down. Atsuku lights on fire again. King turns around, almost shocked that Atsuku is standing right now. "Jesus christ dude, what the hell are you a demon?" King almost shockingly asks. Atsuku is still standing there on fire. The sun has almost set. The two are standing there staring at each other. Waiting for the other to make a move when a dark blob opens up next to King. Zetsu pops his upper body through. "Oi, King you're late he's ba-" Zetsu stops mid sentence as he looks at King all battered and roughed up and then over at Atsuku who is intensely looking towards the two. "You in the middle of something? Oh, right King you're late come on you know how he gets when we're not there" Zetsu says, urging King to go through the darkness blob. King is still staring at Atsuku. "Sorry man, I gotta go. Boss is calling" King goes to enter the blob. "King" Atsuku says. King stops. "Sorry about the ring" Atsuku says with a smirk. King smirks. "Well, it's Batsu's fault for not 'Upholding' his position and letting his guard down. If you're not careful you may end up in some hot water, like your little friend found out the hard way-" King is interrupted. "BOOOM!!" Zetsu chimes in. King pushes Zetsu back through the blob. "Get in there you idiot, hopefully won't see you round Atsuku. I won't be so cordial next time" King says as he goes through and the blob disappears. Atsuku's flames petter out. His eyes widen realising what he just learned. He turns and runs back to the hotel. Cut to Raia and Kaze. Kaze is nursing his forearms, and internally says that they feel sore. Kaze's eyes shoot over to the door Atsuku comes bursting through. "Guys, I found something out really important" Atsuku blurts. Kaze and Raia are taken aback, looking at Atsuku. He's bleeding from the face and his clothes are ruined. "More importantly-" Kaze says, "the hell happened to you?" Raia finishes off the sentence. "Oh, I had a fight with King" Atsuku nonchalantly states. Kaze's jaw drops as Raia is just flustered. "N-No way..." Kaze is in disbelief. "So, how'd you go?" Raia almost nervously asks. "Hmmm... He's stronger than I had initially thought but I think I can still take him if he gets serious" Atsuku explains. "If he gets serious... And he did all this to you when he wasn't?" Kaze dishearteningly asks. "I think towards the end he started to try but for most of it he wasn't" Atsuku says. "So, what did you say you learned?" Raia gets them back on track. "Oh right! King said something interesting" Atsuku says. "So, what was it?" Kaze asks. "So I said 'sorry about the ring' and he says 'Well, it's Batsu's fault for not 'Upholding' his position and letting his guard down" Atsuku quotes King. "There's that word again... Upholds. That isn't a word you'd normally use in a sentence like that. There are plenty of other words that he could've used. Unless he's trying to give us a hint or something" Kaze analyses. "And your friend from this morning used the same word right?" Raia asks. "Yeah, 'Upholds Authority' is what he said" Kaze retorts. "When did he say this?" Raia asks. "Right before he followed the guy who came out of the blob" Atsuku says. A pause takes place. "Did this actually happen?" Kaze says. "So, let's assume that King is somehow connected to the guy from this morning. How would they know each other?" Atsuku says. "Well King seems like a resourceful guy, I mean he looked like he was top of the food chain at the fighing ring. Everyone stopped when he started talking" Raia adds. "So he sent that guy to take out Kaze because he was with us?" Atsuku questions. "He doesn't seem like the type to send someone else to do his dirty work" Atsuku says. "You're right, he's clearly strong enough to take someone out if need be" Kaze says. "Atsuku, when did you find Kossori? After we came back here right?" Raia asks. "Yeah, yesterday afternoon. He did say that someone said to follow us. And King was there at the fighting ring" Atsuku says. "Dammit, yet the guy who attacked me said King isn't who we're looking for. What are we missing? He's everywhere and links everything together" Kaze says frustratingly. "We're assuming Kossori's contact is King right?" Raia asks. "It's the only one that makes sense, who else even knew we were here?" Atsuku asks. "You're right. Well Batsu was also there. Maybe he's the contact?" Kaze asks. "He seems even less likely to have someone else do his dirty work" Atsuku says. "What did King call him again? The what Of Rondeletia?" Raia asks. "The Pillar" Atsuku replies. Kaze turns his head in thought. "The Pillar Of Rondeletia. Makes him sound high up on the food chain himself" Atsuku says. Atsuku and Raia continue talking in the background as it shows Kaze thinking and replaying what the man from this morning said to him. "Could it be like how we have 'The Ladies Of Alchemilla' this city has 'The Pillar's of Rondeletia' as their representatives?" Raia says as Kaze snaps out of it. "Every city does seem to have them. But what is Batsu doing in an underground fighting ring then? Wouldn't that be frowned upon by the public?" Kaze asks. "Things may work differently here, remember all cities have their own sets of rules and governing bodies" Atsuku adds. "Where does that put King then? Is he one of their Pillars? That'd mean he goes to the school right? Our Ladies are students at the school, so naturally the Pillars would need to be students as well?" Raia asks. "They do need to be to participate in the Representative Royale that takes place every year, but I don't know. As Atsuku said, things could work differently here" Kaze replies. "Speaking of the schools, I'm surprised we've found nothing on this Dictator of a Principal. I would've thought we heard something by now" Atsuku says. "He may rule with an iron fist but that doesn't mean he does it in the limelight. It's a smart way to do things" Raia adds. "Wait a second" Kaze says. Atsuku and Raia both look at him. "If King was Kossori's contact, then how hasn't he found out that Kossori is working with us now?" Kaze asks. "He may already know but is stringing us along?" Raia says. "For what purpose? To see what we do next?" Atsuku asks. "I don't think Kossori is double crossing us either, he seems completely genuine and he has come back to us with tangible information multiple times. He's helping us out a lot" Kaze says. "So assuming King doesn't know that Kossori is following King for us and that King is also Kossori's contact who told him to follow us, is King still asking Kossori for updates?" Kaze asks. "Kossori did say that he probably wouldn't get paid because he was found out" Atsuku says. Atsuku's eyes widen. "So, does King even kno-" Kaze is cut off by Atsuku. "I think he knows for sure" Atsuku says. "How could you know?" Raia asks. "When I met Kossori today, he said that he felt like he was being tailed but the person would show up then disappear. And that Kossori kept noticing him then the person would vanish" Atsuku explains. "Either of us noticed King at the fighting ring" Kaze says. Atsuku looks at the floor. "I... think King was the one following Kossori" Atsuku nervously says. "What makes you say that?" Raia asks. "Because he found me afterwards. I think he's know for a while and only after the hit on Kaze this morning failed did he decide to do something himself. I think he used Kossori, knowing we'd meet up at some point after the hit, to find one of us and-" Atsuku stops. "Follow us back here" Raia finishes Atsuku's sentence. "So, in this scenario, we've been playing King's game for a full day and only now are we catching on?" Raia summarises. "You said King was taken 'through a blob' if I'm correct?" Kaze asks. "Yeah, through the darkness blob" Atsuku says. "And you ran immediately back here?" Kaze asks. "Yeah" Atsuku says. "Then, we still have a chance" Kaze says. "Chance for what?" Raia asks. "To find out the god damn truth" Kaze says. "So assuming Atsuku was tailed and we're being watched right now, we can't leave. But what if King met up with Atsuku of his own accord without the knowledge of anyone else? The guy that came through the blob, did he seem surprised to see you?" Kaze asks. "He didn't expect to see me, let alone either of us as beat up as we were" Atsuku replies. "So, if we assume King is somehow involved with The Pillars to some degree, and that one of them sent the guy after me this morning, then what would King accomplish by meeting up with Atsuku?" Kaze asks. "He asked me to stop what we're doing and to leave" Atsuku says. "I think it's safe to assume that King knows that we're here to get Yuki back. I don't think he'd go this far all because of a blown-up ring. That's what we've been working off of so far" Kaze says. "Replace that with us being in the way of Yuki being here and things get more interesting" Raia says. "If one of The Pillars is personally greeting Atsuku and telling him to stop, then I think it is also safe to assume that the transfer student is Yuki as well" Kaze says. "Batsu and King seeming all friendly gives more credit to this theory as well" Raia adds. "So, laying everything out as we understand it, at least King and Batsu know we're in town. And that's assuming neither of them told anyone. After Raia ties Batsu and destroys King's arena, King sends Kossori to track us. Atsuku hears some school kids talking about a new transfer student. Atsuku then intercepts Kossori and gets Kossori to follow King. Kossori comes back and says that he saw Batsu and King 'sink into the ground' outside the Rondeletia High School gate. Then the following morning I had an encounter with the guy who, we're also assuming, attacked Atsuku at our school. I get back here and Atsuku goes back out to see Kossori who thinks he was followed. Assuming that King is following Kossori to get to one of us makes sense that later in the day King finds Atsuku and you two fought. From the moment we crossed King is when things got complicated" Kaze recounts. "That's making a lot of assumptions, can we believe that is accurate?" Raia asks. "Call them educated guesses. There aren't many loose ends when laid out like that" Kaze says. "You were right when you said the way they say 'Upholds', something is off about it" Atsuku says. "Right? Like there is a deeper meaning" Kaze replies. "King didn't have to use that word. It's almost like he went out of his way to use it. But why? What is so significant about the word?" Atsuku ponders. Kaze looks over at the clock. It says 9:34pm. "Maaan, I'm beat. I'm going to get some sleep" Kaze walks over to his bed. "Yeah, me too" Raia does the same. Atsuku still sits at the table, thinking about everything. Atsuku sighs. "You'll burn yourself out if you keep this up, Atsuku. Get some rest" Atsuku tells himself. Atsuku goes and lays in bed. He puts his head to the pillow as it fades to black. Cut to a black screen, when suddenly a spotlight blink on. Nebel is sitting in his chair. We're back at the Pillar's Table. Another spotlight blinks on, it's Kengen. A long pause takes place. 
52"...Sir-" Nebel is cut off. "No. I do not know what to do about this. I didn't know that this would happen. What...have I done to my daughter?" Ken has his hands clenched on the table. "Sir, if I may? I may be able to offer a solution" Nebel claims. "And how in gods name could you fix THIS?" Ken angrily replies. "I've been...working on something behind the scenes" Nebel says. "Without my knowledge?" Ken asks. "I didn't go to Lobelia JUST for the expedition" Nebel says. "What are you hiding?" Ken firmly asks. "I believe I have found the chemical compound combination that can 'supress mana entirely" Nebel says. Ken is taken aback. "Y-You're not serious?" Ken asks nervously. "I have yet to test it's capabilities, but I do believe it will work. Would you like to collaborate with me, Sir?" Nebel asks. "This... This could work. We need to fast track the progress, get me up to speed" Ken orders as the two get up and leave the room. The door opens and the two exit as chain clanging can be heard at the Pillar's Table. A figure walks out from the room and is standing in the doorway, their sillhouette contrasting with the bright lights with the camera viewing from behind the figure. It is shown to be King. "Heh, interesting. Now why would you need something like that, Nebel?" King slyly says as it fades to black. A siren can be heard as it shows a black screen. The siren gets louder and louder, suddenly it shows fire, people trapped under rubble screaming for help, and a collapsing building with a figure hovering above in the air. This all flashes quite quickly. Suddenly Yuki sits up, all sweaty and breathing heavily. She's had a nightmare. She's currently in a bed in a nice room, it's nighttime. She gets up and opens the curtain to view the lights of the city. She sighs as she leans on the railing, her hair swaying slightly in the wind. She moves her hair behind her ear as she looks up, to the top of a building across the street. The camera then is facing her and zooms out and ends up atop a building, looking towards Rondeletia High School with Kossori in the foreground. "So, a new girl?" he says as he is sort of puzzled. "Isn't Atsuku here looking for a friend that's a girl? Is that her?" Kossori is talking out loud to no one. "I'll ask him now" Kossori pulls out his phone. "Excuse me" a voice blares out from behind Kossori. Kossori turns around and sees a man standing there. "Y-Yes?" Kossori asks. "Can I ask why you're atop this building at the time of night. Isn't school tomorrow?" the voice says. "What's it to you?" Kossori asks. "Oh-" the man walks out from the shadows. It's King. Kossori's eyes widen. "-I'm just Upholding my Authority as a staff member at the school and asking why one of our students isn't getting his rest" King says. Kossori noticed what King said, he stops for a moment. "I'll get going then" Kossori turns around to leap off the building's edge. "Alleyway beside Konton's Pizza" King says as Kossori stops. "Behind the Jeimei's Restaurant" King says again, as Kossori slowly turns around. "On top of the Latvia's Hotel" King says as Kossori is staring right at King, sweating bullets. "Am I ringing a bell yet?" King says as Kossori is frozen. "Y-You're the one who-" Kossori is cut off. "Uh-Oh, I've been found out. Whatever will I do?" King sarcastically boasts. Kossori gulps as he quickly turns to leave. In that split second King is right behind Kossori, Saitama Genos style, and he kicks Kossori in the back of the head. Kossori is sent sailing off the building's edge and slams into the concrete on the ground, smashing it and slides through the ground and is sent headfirst into a brick barrier, breaking just through it. The top half of the barrier collapses and falls onto Kossori, burying his upper body in rubble. Cut to Yuki as she's just seen Kossori sent into the ground and is now covered in rubble, she squeals sort of in reaction of seeing this and jumps off of the balcony and floats to the ground and runs to Kossori. King lands on the ground near Kossori as he walks over, crouches down and puts his arm into the rubble and grabs out Kossori, holding him by the back of the head. Kossori is twitching and barely conscious, his face all bloodied and dirty. "I paid you good money, Kossori. I thought we had a good working relationship" King clenches Kossori's head harder. "Then you go and betray me, and end up spying on ME for the guy I sent you after in the first place" King says as he finally drops Kossori. "Get away from him!" Yuki yells out as she finally makes it to Kossori and pushes King out of the way. She rolls Kossori over and is shocked to see how he looks. "Why would you do this to a student, King-san?!" Yuki frantically asks. King looks at Yuki with disgust and walks away. Yuki looks back at Kossori and tries waking him up. "Oi, oi! I'll get you help, here" Yuki helps Kossori up and takes him towards where she's staying. Cut to Nebel and Ken standing in a laboratory. "I was not aware you had converted the old gym into a laboratory, Nebel" Ken says with amazement. "Yes, it was within the budget so I asked our financial team if it was alright" Nebel replies. "Remind me to scold them for not letting me know" Ken says as Nebel let's out a relaxed laugh. "Yes, Sir. Now onto the matter at hand" Nebel motions Ken over to a table with lots of equipment on it and lots of different looking liquids in test tubes and glass jugs. Imagine the lab is totally white and rather large with about 15 dudes all in white scrubs working in various areas with various chemicals and stuff. "So, how have you come this far, Nebel?" Ken asks. "Well, Sir, I had a thought. What happens when you combine the mana extracts of two mana types that cancel each other out? For example, if you were to combine the pure mana of a fire type user and that of a water type user?" Nebel explains. "Well, they'd work in unison would they not? Many people in history have had mana variations that were opposites yet they are still able to use both" Ken says. "You're right, but I'm talking about that of a pure fire type user and a pure water type user, only capable of using one magic type" Nebel replies. "Oooh, I see. So, what was the result?" Ken asks intrigued. "Well seeing as it really is not possible for this to ever naturally occur due to there needing to be two subjects, we have used the power of science to conduct this experiment. So, we took the extracts of a pure water type user and pure fire type user and combined the two and something incredible happened" Nebel says. "What happened?" Ken asks. "The mana became nothing" Nebel says. "What? What do you mean nothing?" Ken asks. "The mana became attuned to no type of magic at all" Nebel replies. "Wha-What?" Ken says, exasperated. "Because this cannot naturally occur, the two differing dominant types of mana clashed and resulted in an empty shell of mana with no attunement. It is mana in its purest form. I'd wager that this experiment has either never happened before or classified as a failure" Nebel says. "So, why does that matter? How does this end?" Ken asks again. "I believe that, if in the past this experiment had been trialed, that their end goal was for the two to merge and create either a duality of the two and grant an individual both types of mana or a new type of mana attunement entirely" Nebel explains. "But, my end goal was never either of those" Nebel says as Ken gives him a strange look. "In doing some calculations, I had hypothesised that this 'nullification' for lack of a better term of the mana would occur, and I had accounted for it. I have accounted for many different outcomes before beginning this experiment. But, what I did not expect was being able to do this" Nebel grabs a metal tin from the bench and opens the lid. A compression sound can be heard as a sort of fog froths out of the tin. Nebel reaches in and grabs out a pinkish purple liquid in a test tube. Kengen is entranced by it's colour. "In this test tube already on the bench, is the already nullified mana (picture a blackish grey colour), but in this test tube is a largely concentrated amount of extract from a certain flower in the Lobelia Region" Nebel says as he pours the flower liquid into the nullified mana test tube. Ken is astonished as the mana begins to change colour to a lighter shade of grey, even though the colour being added is a pinkish purple. Nebel stops pouring the pink liquid into the test tube and puts it away. "Sir, please put on these glasses" Nebel hands Ken some safety glasses to put on. He does as Nebel grabs a test tube with a green coloured liquid. "This is pure grass typed mana" Nebel says as he pours in the green liquid into the recently combined grey liquid and something amazing happen. Kengen can't believe his eyes as the liquid begins to glow. Nebel stops pouring the liquid in and puts it away. The liquid simmers down and stops glowing as everyone looks at the newly formed liquid. "And here we are, Sir" Nebel says. Ken looks closer, the liquid is now a greenish grey colour (google the colour). "So, the colour's combined?" Ken asks. "Hmph hmph, not only did the colours combine. The nullified mana absorbed and attuned to the grass type mana" Nebel proudly says. "N-No way" Ken is in disbelief. "It is possible, Sir. We have the ability to give Anyone Any Type of Mana Attunement" Nebel explains. Ken's jaw is hanging low. "Wh... This is incredible, Nebel. THIS IS AMAZING WORK!!" Ken is ecstatic. "Thank you, Sir. There are still a few kinks but I believe that this is the next step in human evolution. Anyone will be able to use any type of magic they want" Nebel says. "This is amazing, but how is this going to help me?" Ken asks. "Actually, it can be of use to you. If we use the nullified mana and inject it into Yuki, I believe that we can supress her mana temporarily" Nebel says. Ken's eyes twitch. "Or, better yet we could just start over completely" Ken says with an evil grin. "Y-You don't mean?" Nebel says. "I do. We are going to erase Yuki's gravity and vine attunements and give her the strongest types of magic in existence" Ken says as he goes to leave. "B-But, Sir. We are yet to test this on an actual subject-" Nebel is cut off. "Enough! Make the preparation, that's an order" Ken turns around and walks out the door. Security staff shut the door behind him. Ken is seen walking down the hallway as it flashes back to when he and Yuki went with Nebel to the Lobelia Region. It shows them finding an artifact in a digsite. It looks to be a giant crystal but in an egg shape (imagine zen mode darmanitan for base of reference for colours). It is a blueish grey and is glowing from the inside as the three enter the site. "Ohhh, this is it!" Kengen walks towards the artifact, it has hazard tape and warning all around it. "The Origin Crystal" Ken says as he can barely contain his excitement. Yuki goes over to it as it keeps glowing. She stares at it as it begins to light up in red markings. "Ah-" Yuki can barely get out a word as the crystal lights up and shoots a white light at Yuki. Nebel, Ken and the archaeologists can only look on as this happens. Yuki is screaming as she is being attacked by the crystal. It stops and she falls to her knees on the ground. "Yuki, are you all right?" Ken asks her. Yuki looks up at Ken and her eyes are pure white. She then starts floating and glows in a whiteish light. She then puts her arms out to the side crucifix style and sends out a large wave of pressure, pressing everyone to the ground. It is an outwards pressure and it is pressing against everything, the floor, the roof and the walls. Everything is cracking. "Sir, if she keeps this up, she'll bury us!" Nebel yells. "More importantly, we'll lose access to the crystal! Yuki-chan! Stoooopppp!!!!" Ken yells. The pressure keeps building and building as everyone is bracing for the site to collapse. Suddenly, Yuki stops and floats to the ground as the pressure slowly retracts. Ken looks over at Yuki on the ground nervously. Fade back into the present, Ken is still walking. "If she can command that kind of power at will, there is no telling how powerful she can get. But, if she gets too strong... No. You can't think like that now. I need to get her into that lab as soon as possible" Ken thinks internally as he walks down the hallway. Cut back to Yuki and she has laid Kossori down in her bed, and has bandaged his head and is cleaning his face. She wrenches out the cloth into a bucket of warm water as the events that transpired at the Inter-School Tournament flash in her mind. Her losing to Jiga, so pathetically. "Oi, oi the hell is this meant to be? I thought you had to be strong to enter this tournament" Jiga's words echo in her mind. Atsuku valiantly confronting him and fighting Jiga. "It'll be okay, Yuki" Atsuku stands up and walks towards the entrance of the ring with a face that mirrors Luffy's when he goes to punch the Celestial Dragon "I'm gonna break his fucking jaw." Atsuku losing. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" Atsuku and Jiga lunge at each other, a sea of blue and orange flames engulf the arena as the two are going in for their final attacks. Both using their flames to propel them towards each other, their final punches thrown as both hit their mark. Both men are sent sailing backwards and both slam into the barrier of the arena, blowing out the roof in what looks like a blue and orange eruption of fire into the air, the flames settle somewhat, enough to see the two combatants both slowly peeling themselves out of the craters in the sides of the mana reinforced barriers, both of them looking at each other with almost murderous intent from across the ring, Yuki's reaction to all of this is pure shock, she is mortified by how badly they're beating each other, she feels like it's her fault, Atsuku falls flat on his face a split second before Jiga falls to one knee, Atsuku passes out as the match is declared a Victory for Jiga, and therefore Wisteria High School is the winner of the Inter-School Tournament for a second straight year. Yuki running off to find her Dad, having to tell Atsuku, Kaze and -her friend's name- that she's just been sick, having to pretend that everything is fine, getting into her Dad's limo, filling out the transfer papers, having to let go of Alchemilla, having to let go of- "Yuki, are you okay?" a child's voice calls out as she looks up to see 5 year old Atsuku extending his hand to her. "Warm, his hand felt warm" her voice echoes over flashes of her and Atsuku playing as children. How much fun she used to have. Flashes to Atsuku walking into the staffroom at the beginning of the series, and her running up and hugging him, how warm he still was even after all of those years, the fun she's had with Atsuku and Kaze, even Raia is there sometimes. Back to the present and she drops her head. "What have I done?" her eyes are filled with tears, about to burst. But then Kossori starts to stir. "Hey, it's okay. King isn't here anymore" Yuki says as softly as possible. Kossori looks Yuki in the face. There is a short pause. "Who're you?" Kossori points at her. "My name is Yuki, I couldn't save you from King but I brought you here, to my room and cleaned you up" Yuki explains. "A-A girl's room!?" Kossori looks up and is crying in happiness. "YESS!!! It's finally happening! I can't wait to tell all my friends that I finally made it with a girl!" Kossori says internally. Yuki then starts to sob. "I-I'm sorry I was joking around hahaha" Kossori tries to calm Yuki down. "Everyone is trying so hard for me. Even after I sent them away. Even after I left them. I didn't even say anything. I couldn't have. I'm such a bad person" Yuki bursts into tears. "Um, y'know, you can't be that bad if you brought me up here and patched me up. I'm practically good as new" Kossori flexes and then cringes in pain. Yuki sits up and wipes the tears from her face. "I'm sorry, this isn't how I wanted to be when I left. I left so I could get stronger, so that I could protect everyone. But, so far I've made no progress" Yuki vents her frustration. "You're plenty strong, in my opinion" Kossori says as Yuki looks him in the eyes, still slightly watery. "I-I mean-" Kossori looks away awkwardly not able to hold eye contact with a teary-eyed Yuki. "It takes courage to help someone out who just got put into the ground. You didn't know if I was going to be okay, but you decided to help me anyway. And that is something a lot of people won't do" Kossori gives his thoughts. "You really think so?" Yuki asks. "I know so" Kossori replies. "What am I doing? I'm telling all this to someone I don't even know" Yuki says, wiping her face. "Well, you've seen me eat the ground and you've seen my broken face so I think we have a pretty good friendship already ahaha!" Kossori laughs as Yuki begins to laugh too. "Oh, right. Yuki was it? I have a question for you" Kossori says. "What is it?" Yuki asks. "Do you know someone by the name of Atsuku?" Kossori asks. Yuki's eyes widen as 'Atsuku' echoes in her head, Yuki is frozen still. Yuki snaps out of it and goes to reply. "Ye-" Yuki is interrupted by Kengen bursting through the door. "Yuki, what is going on here?" he looks at her bed to see Kossori. "Why is there a boy in here? What happened to him?" Kengen is fuming. "Dad, it was Kin-" Yuki tries to tell Ken. "Whatever, Yuki come with Daddy" he grabs her arm. "Guards, take this boy out of my daughter's room" Ken says as Yuki is defeated in her attempts to explain herself. The two walk down the hallway as the guards enter Yuki's room. "All right, come with us" one of the guards say to Kossori. "Hmmm, nah I'm good" Kossori continues to lay in the bed. "Don't make us force you, kid" the other guard says. "You couldn't force a shit if you had diarrhoea, old man" Kossori cockily says to the guards. They both are enraged and run in to catch Kossori. One jumps on him crossbody style as Kossori flips up and onto the wall behind him (headboard is against the wall) and rolls and lands and is standing on the dude who jumped onto the bed. The other guard goes to tackle Kossori but he puts his foot out straight and the guy smacks his face into Kossori's foot, Kossori then forces that guard down and face first into the floor with his foot. The bed guard starts to move and Kossori is put off balance and falls back, and is heading to land back first on one of the corners of the bed (wood ball like). Kossori notices this as the floor guard lunges at him. In mid-air Kossori reaches out with his right arm and grabs the back of the floor guard's bald head and with 3 fingers pushes himself up into a spin and sends the floor guards face into the wood ball, top of the head first. Kossori lands feet first on the ground as the bed guard goes to punch Kossori. Kossori, almost in the blink of an eye, reaches out and pushes on the inside of the bed guards right arm and causes the bed guard's arm to bend and with the force of the punch still being thrown and ends up punching himself in the neck, knocking himself to the ground. Kossori stands there for a moment. "Oh, right, better follow Yuki" Kossori puts his shirt back on and grabs his gear and exits the room. Cut to Nebel in the laboratory, and he has set up a chair with leather straps and is currently working with chemicals. Kengen comes bursting in, holding Yuki's hand as she just mopes along with him. "Dad, why am I here?" Yuki asks Ken. "We're here to make you the strongest girl there is, Yuki-chan. Now, sit in the chair" Ken points to the chair Nebel has prepared. "Sir, I'm not finished my final test-" Nebel is cut off again. "I don't care! You get it prepared, Yuki. Get in the chair. This is happening now whether any of you like it or not. That is an order" Kengen orders everyone. He drags Yuki over to the chair. "Why are there straps?" Yuki asks. "They're there so you don't move, if they miss your vein, it could cause a problem" Ken explains. "A vein?" Yuki nervously says. "Sit down" Ken pushes her down into the chair. Kengen orders for Yuki to be strapped in. Kossori is seen peering in through the door. "Is it done yet?" Ken asks. "Yes, Sir" Nebel has a syringe full of the nullified mana. "Okay, Yuki. Just stay still, all right? We don't want to miss the mark on this. I'm going to insert the syringe now" Nebel is inching closer and closer to Yuki's arm. Kengen is visibly eager for the result. The syringe enters Yuki's vein. Yuki is trying not to writhe at all. "Okay, injecting the mana" Nebel says. And right as he puts the slightest amount of pressure on the syringe that incredible force from the digsite is sent out, crashing everything in the room. All people in the room are sent into and are pinned to all the different walls of the facility. Kossori just dodges it as the doors are sent off the hinges and down the hallway, Kossori is hiding just around the corner. Tables are stacking onto the people and chemicals are mixing all over the place. A giant ice shard pierces from one mixture and grows and stabs into the ceiling from the corner of the room. One of the mixtures creates a thick layer of fog that covers the bottom half of the room. Yuki easily breaks free from the chair straps and the force crushes the chair into the ground, flat. Ken's face is that of pure fear for his life. Yuki's eyes are pure white again, and she is slightly glowing that blue colour. The pressure is still pressing everyone into the walls, nothing is on the ground at all. Yuki turns around and walks towards the opposite wall from the door. She reaches over and grabs a large hooded trenchcoat in one hand and lifts the other up and places it on the wall. Then the wall is blow through in a perfect, large circle almost the size of the wall. She puts the coat on and flies away into the dead of night. The pressure disappears the moment she flies away. Everyone is coughing and just thankful that they're alive. Ken punches the ground and then stands up. "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU ALL JUST SITTING THERE!! GO AND FIND MY DAUGHTER OR I WILL KILL YOU ALL AND HANG YOUR BODIES UP FOR THE WHOLE WORLD TO SEE!!" Kengen screams as everyone frantically gets up and runs out of different exits. "S-Sir-" Nebel is cut off again. "Nebel, go the fuck away and 	find my damn daughter" Kengen threatens as Nebel runs away quickly. Kossori is still just around the corner, he goes to move as Kengen comes storming out and goes down the hallway. Kossori is as flat and still as he can be against the wall until Kengen is gone. He sneaks into the room and witness the carnage first hand. "Wait, we have a lab? Why can't we do science-y stuff then?" The fog is slowly clearing up. He looks around the room and surveys the damage. "Shit, this girl is crazy strong. Remind me to not make fun of her" Kossori says to himself. "Better follow her" Kossori stops mid step. "Oh, shit. I never got to ask Atsuku if it was her. Yuki was her name. I'll text him when I get the hell away from here" Kossori disappears out the gaping hole in the wall. Cut to Batsu as he is just sitting down after having a shower and he picks up his phone. He sees a text from Nebel. "Yuki has escaped. Boss has demanded we all mobilise. "Shit, how did this happen?" Batsu says as he runs to his room. Cut to Zetsu in an alleyway, skulking around and he feels his phone vibrate. The same text from Nebel shows up. "I was just about to have some fun too, guess we gotta go boys" Zetsu turns around and the same walkway of men from his meeting with the Principal of Alchemilla are there and the limo is at the end as well. Some thugs at a doorway behind Zetsu collapse in relief. Cut to King as he is leaning on his balcony, his phone is on the table inside and he doesn't hear it. Cut to Kengen, and he is in a limousine being driven. He is impatiently looking out the window. "This all must be connected to that crystal" Kengen clenches his hands together. "That power was supposed to be MINE" he says to himself. "If the theories are correct, that's where she'll be. I need to get there first" he says to himself as the limousine drives on. Cut to Kossori jumping from rooftop to rooftop, on his phone. He lands on the edge of a building and almost falls off but manages to save it. He sighs as he hears footsteps down below. He looks down to see Nebel searching an alleyway. "Nebel, huh? Is this good or bad luck? Guess I'll see where he takes me" Kossori says as he tails Nebel. Kossori looks over a few roofs ahead and sees one of Nebel's security personnel atop there. "Hmm, that'll be a problem" Kossori disappears and appears behind the security guard. He chops the guard on the back of the neck, knocking him out cold. He looks over and cut to a few different ones on different roofs. Kossori sighs as he disappears and it zooms from roof to roof and you hear movements and a single blow, dealing with the guards. Cut to King, he walks inside and checks his phone. "Hmph" King sets his phone down and walks away. Cut to Kengen as he arrives at the digsite. He rushes out and down into the site, Yuki is nowhere to be seen. "I made it!" Kengen is relieved. He walks over to the crystal. He gulps as he moves his hand towards it. "It's finally time, all these years and it's finally going to be MINE!" he says to himself as his hand makes contact with the crystal. A long pause, complete silence. "Huh?" he takes his hand off and touches it again. Silence. "No" he does it again. Silence. "No, No... NO NO NOOOO!!! Dammit WORK!!" Kengen punches the crystal. "It is futile" a familiar voice says from behind Kengen. He whips around to see Yuki floating in the air. Kengen is frozen. "This crystal has already found it's partner, you are too late" Yuki says in an almost robotic voice that sounds like her but as if something else is speaking. "N-No..." Kengen can barely mutter any words. He falls to his knees in disbelief. Yuki goes to move forward and Kengen puts his hand up. Yuki is frozen in mid-air. She's trapped in a sphere of something. Kengen stands up. "Well then, if this crystal is already taken, I will be taking the user" Kengen says as he clenches his fist and rattles it in place. The sphere rattles violently and Yuki is inside, being bounced from wall to wall very quickly, as she falls unconscious. He lowers the sphere to the ground and makes it disspate. "Take her to the car and take us back" he says as men in suits show up and carry Yuki to the limo. Kengen turns around to look at the crystal and then leaves. Cut to Batsu, he's in a forest somewhere. His phone vibrates with a text from Kengen. "Yuki has been found, you are dismissed" as Batsu sighs with relief. Zetsu gets the same text as he drops a thug he was holding by the face. "Hmph, I forgot about the girl" he says. Cut to King's phone, it is on the table and it vibrates. King is nowhere to be found. Kossori is still tailing Nebel as his phone vibrates. He sighs with relief. "She's been found, time to go back" Nebel calls out to his men. Kossori reacts with shock, realising his men won't be replying. "Oi" Nebel calls out. No reply. Nebel jumps up on the roof, and looks around. He can't see any of his men or Kossori. He's hiding just around the corner from Nebel. "Who's there?" Nebel calls out. Kossori doesn't respond, obviously. Nebel then puts his hand to the sky and begins to pour out fog from the palm of his hand. Kossori notices and quickly crouches and then disappears, but the fog just got to his feet before he was able to jump. "Gotcha" Nebel says as he sends out two smoke bombs to where Kossori was hiding. Kossori was just caught and is coughing. Nebel walks over and kicks the corner where Kossori was, but Kossori had jumped and is above Nebel. Nebel looks up and sees a figure. "You're not getting away" he puts his hands to the side and claps them together loudly and the fog and smoke are blown away. In that instant right as the fog and smoke is blown away, Kossori activates a smoke bomb he had laid just earlier and it stuns Nebel. Kossori jumps away and the smoke dissipates with Kossori nowhere to be seen. Nebel is seen looking around. "Shit, he got away" Nebel says as he pulls out his phone and texts Zetsu to come get him. 3 seconds later a darkness blob opens up and Zetsu pops his head through. "Yo, thought you had an army of guys?" Zetsu asks. "I did, someone has done away with them. Move" Nebel says as he walks through the blob. The blob disappears. Zoom out from the scene and Kossori is atop a tall skyscraper. "Ahhhhh holy crap that was close. Guess they found Yuki quicker than I'd thought. Oh man I gotta let Atsuku know all of this, man what's the time?" Kossori pulls his glove down to reveal a pretty basic looking watch. It says 12:21am. "Damn, I need a break. Things got a hell of a lot more lively the moment Atsuku showed up. Well, better get going" he says as he disappears. Cut to Kengen in the limo with Yuki knocked out, laying on the seat tied up. The limo drives into the Rondeletia City limits. Kengen looks at Yuki. "You've caused me nothing but trouble your entire life. Once I finally do this, you will be my perfect little girl" he says internally. He goes to look out the window as Yuki begins to glow blue again, but this time she has those red markings on her body. "No-" Kengen is cut off by the top of the limo blowing out and the limo coming to a crash into a nearby railing. Yuki is in the air, glowing blue and covered in red glowing markings. Kengen opens the door and he is bleeding from the head, he slowly makes his way out of the car and looks up. "Dammit hah...hah... hah..." Kengen is breathing heavily as Yuki flies towards Rondeletia City. Kengen lifts his arm to use his magic on Yuki like he did at the digsite, but he cringes and falls to the ground in pain. Yuki flies off towards the city. Cut to the balcony of Atsuku and co. and Kossori lands there. He slides the balcony door to the side and sneaks in. Just as he puts one foot on the carpet a wind slash comes flying through a wall and Kossori just dodges it, losing a bit of hair in the process. Raia is on the couch and hears this and jumps up, ready to fight. "Calm down calm down it's just me!!" Kossori pleads for his life. "Ahhh man I'm gonna need to pay for that. Why did you scare me like that?!" Kaze comes through the door from a bedroom. "How di-" Kossori is cut off by Atsuku coming out of another door and seeing Kossori. "Oh, hey. Got anything useful?" he asks. "It's super early, why are we doing this now?" Raia asks the sensible question. "If he found something, we need to act fast. So, did you find anything?" Atsuku explains. "Actually, I did. So, after I left Atsuku I decided to get a drink because trying to lose that guy following me was hard work, so I stopped at the Taichi's place-" Kossori is interrupted. "We don't care about any of that, get to the important bits" Raia angrily growls at Kossori. "Pfft, fine. So I ended up losing him and making my way through town" Kaze and Atsuku look at each other, seemingly having their theory of King tailing Kossori be confirmed. "And I ended up just wandering around for hours. I had no leads or anything, really. So I decided to try the school again, because The Pillars seem to be key players in your guys conquest. I ended up at the school and was hanging out surveying when I see this girl walk out onto one of the balconies. Atsuku perks up. "Was it Yuki?!" he grabs Kossori by the shoulders. "Dude, chill out I'm getting there. Storytelling is my speciality" Kossori replies. "So I see this girl and I couldn't remember what you guys were even here for in the first place. You haven't told me a lot" Raia is getting noticably angrier. "So, the girl shows up and then..." Kossori pauses. "And then?" Kaze tries to coax a reply from Kossori. "King showed up" Kossori dishearteningly says. Everyone is shocked by the news. "Wh-What happened next?" Atsuku asks. "He started naming drop points of my cash bags from my jobs. It's him. King was my contact who told me to follow you guys" Kossori says. "Well, that's confirmed then" Raia says. "He then hit me in the back of the head and that's all I remember until I was in a soft bed in a girls room. The one who was on the balcony had cleaned me up" Kossori explains. "This is it. It's Yuki! It has to be!" Kaze excitedly says. "We got talking a bit and she told me her name was Yuki and then some guards showed up and her Dad took her" Kossori says. "What!?" Kaze starts shaking Kossori. "Are you sure she said Yuki? Where did they take her? Her DAD?! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS" Kaze asks. "To a lab at the back of the school, which I didn't know we had. Why can't we take science as a subject then?" Kossori adds. "STAY ON TRACK IDIOT!" Kaze says. "This guy had her strapped into a chair and then Nebel went to inject her with something" Kossori explains. "Wait, who's Nebel?" Kaze asks. "He's one of the members of The Pillars of Rondeletia" Kossori says. "That makes three total, right?" Raia asks. "Hm? No there are four" Kossori replies. "There's a fourth?" Kaze asks. "Yeah, Zetsu. I actually kinda like him. He's really funny but a bit aggressive at times haha" Kossori says. "Anyway, he was about to inject Yuki when suddenly a massive pressure was released and everyone was sent flying. I was hiding behind the doors and they were blown clean off the hinges and sent down the hallway, that pressure was unreal. I barely dodged it. Anyway I heard a giant crashing sound then some yelling" Kossori relays the events. "After the yelling all these guys went running everywhere and her Dad walked past me and down the hallway. That's when I followed her out the hole in the wall" Kossori continues on. "I was tracking her when I found Nebel, I ended up almost getting into a fight with him actually ahaha!" Kaze comedically slaps him in the face. "Focus" Kaze says. "Right, so I got away after Nebel called out to his men that she'd been found. That's when I came here" Kossori finishes his story. Atsuku and Kaze sit down. "So, we've finally found you, huh?" Kaze says. "Oi, is it getting hot in here?" Kossori asks. Kaze looks over at Atsuku as he's boiling and charring the chair. "We're going out" Atsuku says as Raia and Kaze stand up. "We finally found her, time to take her back!" Kaze says. A short pause takes place. Suddenly, what seems like an earthquake hits the hotel, taking everyone off balance. "What the hell!?" Raia blurts out as all four fly out of the building before it collapses. They converge on a nearby rooftop as they survey what happened. A giant vine has pierced the buildings base and felled it into a heap. Atsuku lights up and goes to go in and find civilians. "There isn't anyone trapped under the rubble, don't worry" Kaze says. "So-" Raia begins to say as the camera zooms out from a giant vine like formed fort almost encasing the nearby city skyscrapers, "-what in the hell do you think that is?" Kossori looks over and screams. "Wait... You don't think this could be..." Kaze asks nervously. "In any case, we may not be from here but we can't deny help to those that need it. Let's go!" Atsuku says as they all take off towards the city. "I think I see someone up in the-" Kaze is cut off by a giant vine coming out from the ground and almost hitting all four of them. "Are these being controlled or are they able to find targets on their own?" Raia asks. The four get closer and closer. "Oi, let me down here. I'll go along the streets and see if I can find anything" Kossori tells Atsuku as he let's go and Kossori lands on top of one of the buildings. "Now, to find out where these are coming from" Kossori says as more vines are aiming for and barely missing Atsuku, Raia and Kaze. "Damn, these things have good aim" Kaze says. They all land on a rooftop and survey the situation up close. "I'm gonna try pierce that shell directly, Raia you try flanking it. You're the fastest so you'll have the best chance of getting there. Kaze, try finding civilians. You have the best senses out of all of us, I'm counting on you" Atsuku says as the three nod and break off separately. Raia flanks around behind the shell and jets to the top, dodging three vines that end up hitting each other. He gets there and gets a glimpse of the person who is doing this. Before he can react, hundreds of vines dart right for him and puncture him like bullets and one last one whips him and sends him flying down into the ground. Atsuku goes for a brute force attack. He is blazing towards the shell at full speed and strength when suddenly the shell's individual vines break apart, Atsuku is caught off guard and then the vines are all heading right for him. He manages to dodge a majority but the sheer amount of them is overwhelming and Atsuku has been caught. He ignites on fire and puts his right arm out to the side, internalising his fire and lights up in orange fire. He breaks free of the vines and hauls ass towards the culprit in the air. Right as he gets close a giant vine comes from the right side, he doesn't even have time to think as the vine slams down hard and sends Atsuku down, smashing into a building going through multiple floors. Cut to Kaze as he is helping a man out from under some rubble. "Okay, get away run that way there are police there" he tells the man. Kossori lands next to him. "I can't seem to find where these vines are coming from" Kossori says. "I worried about that. Maybe they are being generated then?" Kaze asks. "You mean they're pure mana being generated as they're needed? That's some serious control for the sheer amount we have to play with" Kossori says. "If this is Yuki, then something is up. Either she's gotten really strong in a short amount of time, or something has happened to her. She hasn't been the same. I can't let this happen anymore" Kaze takes off. Kossori sighs as he disappears as well. Kaze tries a direct approach, he is dodging vines but is eventually overcome by the amount and is slammed down onto a rooftop and lands hard. Camera zooms in to the side of a building, and Atsuku climbs out from some rubble in said building. He jumps out onto the roof through the holes he created. He is looking around and sees Raia, Kaze and Kossori all dodging vines simultaneously. He decides to try something and lights up a fireball in his hand and throws it towards the person in the sky. A vine destroys the fireball in mid air, it barely made any distance. "No dice, huh?" Atsuku says puzzled. Atsuku's attention is caught by a civilian he sees struggling to help a girl out from under some rubble. He darts over to them and helps them out. He makes eye contact with the girl who was trapped as Atsuku turns around. The girl keeps staring at him as she is pulled away by the arm by the person who helped save her. Atsuku flies up towards the rest of the group. "Found anything out yet?" Atsuku asks as he is dodging vines. "Well, some of the vines have pointy edges so there's tha-AH!" Kossori replies as he is cut by one of the vines. "Not every vine is the same, whoever this is has immense control of their mana flow" Kaze adds as he is dodging vines as well. "If we're done having our little get together can we figure out how to deal with this?!" Raia vents frustratingly. "Back me up!" Atsuku yells as he immediately internalises his fire and jets upwards. He sees many vines and is dodging them as best he can. Kossori is fending off vines from below as Kaze is sending out slices of wind, cutting the vines, and using gusts of wind to stop the vines from moving so fast while simultaneously propelling Atsuku. Raia is bolting around breaking through vines that are aiming at Atsuku as he moves closer and closer. Atsuku gets to the top as he looks to see whoever is at the top. Close up of Atsuku's eye widening for a frame or two, right as it does the person's arm goes up and thousands of thin vines come out from inside the skyscraper they're above and encase Atsuku in a ball of vines. "Atsuku-" Kaze is cut off by thousands of small vines capturing him and Kossori. Raia manages to dodge them for a while longer but eventually gets caught. Great wide shot from above of Raia in the foreground in mid-air, struggling to break free from being wrapped in the vines, Kaze and Kossori in the midground captured about level with the top of the building. The vine ball Atsuku is encased in is off to the left of the shot with the culprit on top of the skyscraper, it's bloody gorgeous in my mind. "Didn't expect my day to go like this when I woke up" Kossori says. "Not helping!" Kaze replies as he struggles to get free. Raia continues to try and break free. When it seems like this is the end, the culprit looks up to the vine ball as light seems to be seeping through. Raia, Kaze and Kossori look up to see the same. Suddenly, the vine ball explodes in a sea of red, yellow and orange fire. "YUUUUUUUUUUKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!" Atsuku screams out as Kaze can't help but smile. Atsuku jets straight down and lands on the roof of the skyscraper. He turns around to look at the culprit who is still floating in the air. "Yuki, it's me. It's At-" Atsuku is cut off by Yuki finishing the sentence. "-suku..." all of the vines regress and release Raia, Kossori and Kaze. The three get to the roof where Atsuku and Yuki are. Yuki pulls down the hood to reveal it is in fact her, without a shadow of a doubt. "Yuki! You're okay!" Kaze happily says. "Why?" Yuki says. "Eh?" Kaze replies dumbfounded. "Why... are you all here?" Yuki says softly. "We're here to bring you home" Atsuku replies. "But, I left you all without warning. Without even saying goodbye" Yuki dishearteningly exclaims. "I don't care about that" Atsuku replies sternly. A pause takes place. "I don't know what has been going on with you lately, but none of this makes any sense. Let's go back to Alchemilla and talk this ove-" Atsuku is cut off. "Don't you get it?!" Yuki drops to the roof and yells. "I DON'T WANT TO STAY IN ALCHEMILLA! I WON'T GET STRONGER IN ALCHEMILLA!" Yuki yells with a face full of tears. Atsuku and co. are taken aback. "Stronger?" Raia says. "Just leave. I didn't ask for your help, or your pity. Go home" Yuki says as she turns around. Yuki begins to walk away as Atsuku runs to catch up to her. "I don't understand, help us understand Yuk-" SMACK... Yuki slaps Atsuku on the cheek. The sound of the slap echoes as Raia, Kaze and Kossori are shocked. Atsuku takes a step back. Yuki turns back around. "Leave me alone" Yuki flies off into the sky. Atsuku regains his senses and looks up at Yuki as she flies away. Suddenly she glows blue again. "N-No, no not agai-AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" Yuki is screaming a blood curdling scream. "Yuki!" Atsuku and Kaze both fly quicky towards her. Suddenly an amazing pressure is sent out towards them, knocking them back. Yuki is still screaming and holding her head as she glows brighter and brighter. "It has been too long since you came for a visit" a voice echoes in Yuki's mind. Yuki glows brighter and brighter blue as Atsuku and co. can only look on. Suddenly, a darkness blob shows up next to Yuki. It's Zetsu. "Okay I ju-Woah hoho! That's amazin' pressure, I got this though" Zetsu opens a second blob in between himself and Yuki and leans out of the first blob and puts his arm through the second blob. He is holding a syringe. A third blob appears right by Yuki's arm and his arm comes out of the third blob and the syringe sticks into her arm. She instantly stops screaming and glowing. Yuki falls unconscious and Zetsu catches her. Zetsu looks down to see Atsuku and co. Atsuku flies straight for Zetsu but Zetsu disappears through the darkness blob right before Atsuku gets there. "Dammit... God dammit... We were so close..." Atsuku drops to the roof. "So, who was that guy?" Raia asks. "He showed up to take King away, that's the blob guy" Atsuku replies. 65So Yuki starts to find excuses to not hang out with them and all that for a bit and Atsuku and Kaze got worried and followed her and she disappeared and then one of her friends asks where she is as she wasn't at school and they said they don't know and they go to her house expecting her to not be there and to have to go on this massive search for her and they get to her house and she opens the door and they're all shocked but relieved she was just sick and she'll be back tomorrow and she is and the day goes as normal and they all walk home together and later that night Atsuku forgets he needed to get some food to cook and is walking to the store and hears some screaming from down a side street alley way and comes across a hooded figure standing over a woman and he says to get away and the hooded person turns around and it's Yuki and Atsuku is fucking woke atm but before he can say anything giant vines grab hold of him by the neck and slam him into the ground and fling him into the road and he slides through the ground and slams into a building and is covered in rubble and wakes up in a hospital bed and Kaze says he's been out for 3 days and he goes to get up and find out wtf last night was but he sits up and a searing pain shoots right down his back and through his neck and the nurse comes in and tells him to lie down because the attack fractured his spine and tore most of the ligaments in his neck and it'll take weeks to heal, The teacher figure and Kaze fuck off to try and deal with this Yuki shit and doctors come in and tell Atsuku that they wanna run xrays and they find out he's basically wolverine and is healing fast as a motherfucker and that he'll be healed in hours from now and Atsuku fucks off and finds Kaze and they go on a montage spree of wrecking cunts only to end up finding out that the one responsible for Yuki's Sithification is the principal of an opposing school so Atsuku says he gon gutter stomp a bitch and they get there and it's her Dad and turns out he's a baddie and the entire school is a baddie and Atsuku goes to gutter stomp this bitch but gets caught by the same vines round his neck and Yuki is there and turns out Yuki got the best of both worlds from her parents bc mommy could use vine magic and daddy can use repulsion magic and she got gravity and vine magic but refused to use vine magic bc daddy is a baddy and they fight and eventually Yuki gets over it somehow and Atsuku and Kaze and Raiu can't penetrate Daddy's repulsory barrier and Yuki snaps and starts to go ballistic and trash mobs show up and it just has her controlling her gravity to Fujitora levels and throwing objects and dudes in mid-air and slammed into the ground and she sends out giant waves of gravity towards dudes and has a gravity shield up and shit and it's intense as fuck and then she deals with them and talks some sweet shit to her daddy and Atsuku says that he has a crazy idea and tells them all to get into these positions and Atsuku internalises his fire and gets ready. First full stop lmao I love this next bit. Note: Daddy can't move this repulsion barrier because it uses gravity as its' base and he needs to release it to move and won't risk it bc he'll get shredded

67So Atsuku internalises his fire and gets into position and everyone else is in theirs. Atsuku powers up and puts all his power into his arm and Kaze grabs him and spins him round as fast as he can, creating a tornado to help with the speed and hurls him towards Daddy's barrier and at the moment he lets go, Raiu grabs Atsuku at the speed of light and throws him too and the moment Atsuku goes past Yuki she throws up a wall of gravity behind Atsuku and launches him with that too and Atsuku is sent fucking smokin towards Daddy and his barrier. As you'd imagine, Atsuku goes straight fuckin through and the fist hits Daddy right in the stomach and they both get sent sailing out onto the water (assume this all took place at a waterfronty type place but there are buildings sort of surrounding it think southbank but the tall ass buildings are a little closer to the water and the entire place is pretty trashed) and because Atsuku was going fast as fuck he goes hurling out onto the open water and absolutely slams into the water (like a bomb under the water type of splash and Daddy is sent into the side of an island (imagine the height of Moreton from a fair way away) and almost goes through it
