When I stumbled onto him I might have interrupted something that he were doing, while I'm not sure what exactly it was he did not seem thrilled by my presence. In fact I would say that he were outraged and quite adamant that I leave him to whatever it was he were doing, he told me to 'Go bother your son and that gang of goody two shoes he's gathering' before he vanished."

The spot where jagged rock met lush forested slopes and turned into sudden drop into the void, more importantly it were the spot where he'd run into Fu previously.

For him to lash out in annoyance and surprise that the lavender skinned demon's appearance at this moment weren't part of the plan would more than certainly blow not only his cover. But that of Fu as well.

"Face it Fu your little experiment or whatever it is you're plotting is over." The Prince's arms folded over his chest, and onyx eyes peered with cold, murderous intent at the demon. If this was idea of a mocking at him by promise of 'challenge' it served nothing more than to cause blood to boil. He couldn't be expected to go all out against the very being whom he actually needed in order to have possibility at escape.

Really her role was like an attack dog than a warrior, compared to how strong most of the fighters in play were. But she was fast. Incredibly so, nimble quick and cunning. That desire seemed like it were about to be met once Gravy had made himself known, and into the primary threat.

His hair and eyes hued to match color of aura, it seemed the Prince were taking the bout serious, then again he did have an audience to entertain with show and a great deal of frustration to work through.

He'd be sure to send the message outright that he weren't something to be taken lightly, not after reaching the realm of which could be considered gods.

The shock hit hard, jaw dropped as she could only stare as Gravy, one of Mechikabura's empowered Demon Gods made the first move on behalf of Fu, of all people. She had been suspicious of Vegeta, and Fu made it clear they HAD been up to something.. but it was a double-cross with a double-cross that had Chronoa frozen there in her own moment even as the force of blows and energy threatened to scoot her back as clothing billowed in the raging winds.

The large vulpine slowly lifted himself up from the small campfire he had created on the rocky terrain. His flail slowly clattered at his hip, his shield thunking gently against his back as he brought his cup to his lips, downing the last dregs of the tea. And with that, he stepped his leather clad steel boot into the fire, using it to stomp the fire out.

391Iskander began to slowly trek towards the sounds he was hearing. He wore the entirety of his armor, it clattering about, only faintly quieted by the leather over the plate metal. The fox unclipped his helmet from his waist and pushed it on top of his head as he came about a rocky outcropping. Glittering green eyes gazed out from behind the dented and gashed helmet as he stared at the group that were swinging hammers, arguing and fighting..

393And stopped dead in his tracks, a loud sound of clattering heard as his armor came to a rest. The fox just stared for a few moments, before a deep, rumbling voice quietly came out from behind the helmet. "Uh.. I... Didn't know there were other people here... "Was all the dumbfounded vulpine managed to speak out, Iskander having never been one much for social cues...

Hopefully without being flung to the wind like paper mache.

She was puzzled more than anything else, though in fairness she had never seen exactly what made that brilliant mind of his tick. Was this some show and bravado to him? A game? Or did he have stakes and investments tied up in it, thus making it so undying and serious? It seemed like not only a few short hours before they were taking a stroll and now. Locked in opposing sides neither really had their true heart in.

401She glanced to the Kai within her peripheral vision. "Chronoa, with all due respect we should either retaliate or get back. Staying this close and standing in shock is only going to end up getting in the way and limiting Vegeta's options." She had grown rather accustomed to massive shows of power well beyond her understanding, probably not entirely healthy for her well being.

Gravy's body writhing in Darkness, lightning that stung like whipping sub-zeroes threatening to strike down Vegeta, paired with knuckles and hammer that was slamming into the sky [b]leaving cracks[/b] that were regenerating over and over....

423In the meantime, Fu's raised hand reached back. It was a Kiri-Device. The dials on it swiveled dangerously, dramatically, as the man prowled, floating around this match. Completely undeterred by the humongous powers that be...

Annoyed that he'd pulled his figurative punch in terms of his pushing into Super Saiyan Blue for sake of playing along, he'd figured that the mechanics of Fu gathering energy were akin to how Babadi had gathered energy to revive Majin Buu. The more damage caused by either side would allow him to drain more energy, thus meaning that he'd have to draw out the exchange longer than he would normally. He'd be sure to redistribute the discomfort felt in his changing of tactics and the burning of electricity which sent his muscles into near spasm back at Fu the moment he had chance.

429The Prince's hand tightened around the hammer, fingers curled to strain and grasp with tight hold, intent to hold the weapon and yank it downwards with a heaving swing of his arm. Using it as vital pivot to rotate his body round upside down, and swing leg downwards for a hefty kick at shoulder of Gravy. Gears within his mind turning to overdrive as he began to methodically plot and work around avenues of both attack and retreat if need be. Seemingly unconcerned by the presence of Gine and the Kai, less so because he cared not for their safety but more so because if he allowed his focus to drift away from battle laid before him, he'd most certainly find himself on the receiving end of damage. Rather than him being on the output end of it, and that to him were far more than unacceptable. 
430[01:08] *[user]Chronoa O Clock[/user] didn't seem to hear Gine as she stood there, despite her form pressed onward against the force of the battling energies. Suddenly her teeth grit and eyes shut tight in minor cringe before Chronoa gave Gine a firm nod. "This is no place for either of us." Thankful that others of the Time Patrol hadn't joined despite that was Fu's apparent plan, the kai kicked off from the ground into flight. "Let's get back to The Watch. If this is where Fu wanted us to be, this is no place I want to be." She would hover and wait for Gine to hopefully kick off and follow with, before giving Vegeta one more scowled look. "Wait until Trunks hears about this one.." 
431[01:10] *[user]Conqueror Iskander[/user] just watched, the fox in pure awe as he seen the Ki and the attacks being thrown around. However, his gaze transferred over to see Gine, and swiftly decided that she would be her best chance to get some information, as the others seem to be locked in combat. He ducked his left shoulder down, and shrugged it, sliding his shield from his back and down his arm in a clearly well practiced gesture. He swiftly tucked his arm through the bracket and gripped the handle, before reaching over and typing the strap around his forearm. He reached down with his other paw, and unclipped the flail that hung at his waist. He was clearly outmatched, but he felt more comfortable with his only friends in his hands.

433He watched Chronoa and Gine speak for a moment, and then seen her kick off into flight. And with that, he suddenly shouted out from by the rock cropping, his voice one of a strong, and deep rumble. It traveled rather well in it's pitch, clearly used to speaking over battlefields as he shouted out towards the two. "Wait! What is happening? Where am I? Why are they fighting!?" The panicked vulpine shouted out, as he looked back over Vegeta and Fu, bringing his shield up to cover his left side just in case a stray attack flew at him.

It was weak, to leave a squadmate locked in conflict alone for no purpose other than safety. Yet she learned her lesson from straight charging in, or worse yet leaving behind rifts to be completely and utterly abused. "You can't just leave your allies behind! That's dishonourable!" That certainly rustled her jimmies, seeing her simply float off while leaving Vegeta behind left her quake with fury. Even if it was bait, even if it was a trap she couldn't disengage without making sure Vegeta either secured the kill or had a clear cut escape.

439She ascends to her maximum output and sets herself to Gravy's flank, pushing and pulling alongside Vegeta's decisive strikes. Reckless, perhaps, though the only decision she could live with. Using her speed to her advantage, she attempted to be as pesky and as much of a distracting annoyance to that 'Demon God' as she could afford. All without exchanging a single blow.

458Up in the sky was Shroom, the Demon God of Death with a most twisted hunger gleaming in crimson eyes, his tongue poking freely from maniacal grin as his cape spread outward behind him. [color=brown]"Mind if I [b]cut[/b] in, ladies? Kekeke!"[/color] No time was wasted as he charged downward at the lone little kai with a cackle, Dark Energy lacing across his form and scythe wildly. [color=brown]"Can't leave the party you crashed so soon! We're juuuuust gettin' started! Thanks Specs! You good there?"[/color] Just a glance crossed to that deliciously hungry energy-gathering device.

462With a slash of that wicked curved blade in his charge, scarlet energy danced forth and tore two dark whirling portals to the ground on either side of Iskander. From both rose two darkly clad robed figured with heads bowed and masks secure, hiding away any traces of individuality yet decorated in the Dark Empire's finest designs. Both immediately took stance, GRS-1 snapping his left leg out at the fox's chest in rapid kicks while GRS-2 charged into a barrage of punches, teamworking to expose weak spots on the new arrival and take advantage of those openings.

505Rage renewed, and senses cleared thanks to his distance gained between himself and Gravy he re-evaluated the situation. His reaction were slowed within the presence of the hulking creature, at least when he got close. Luckily he didn't seem to have to get close at all. "[color=cyan]What's that Fu? You want [b]energy?!?[/b][/color]" He'd caught that bit of conversation, or at least that's how it seemed in that very moment as Vegeta's arms swung wide and electricity crackled around him. Whipping from his frame to give loud pop and hiss as a very, very dangerous amount of ki gathered once hands swung forward. [sub]Tunnel vision was a bitch.[/sub] A bitch that he'd focus solely on Gravy below him. "[color=cyan][b]I'll give you all the energy you want, in exchange I'll take his life.[/b][/color]" That cynical smile of smug confidence met his lips, and laughter echoed through out the air.

She rose her hands in preparation and shifted aside as she saw Fu go at Gine, which was just enough that as the ground took the brunt of that energy wave, Chronoa was left still standing. Only, she gripped her shoulder as her right arm hung limply down, fabric tattered and torn... there was that moment of locked gaze with Fu's own as the demon scientist sprung into action of his own accord. The injury went ignored as she turned sharply, finding herself behind Fu now as the two demons had their... quarrel about her impending fate.

514She had taken on Demigra, Putine and Gravy in the past, but two Demon Gods and Fu was a bit much!!! Nevermind the untrustworthy Vegeta and wildcard that was Gine. Especially given how she had extended herself just the day prior! Her gaze shot to Gine. "Come if you want, but I'm getting out of here. It's not a matter of my life, just a matter of time." Chronoa knew Saiyans had their pride and stubbornness, and apparently loyalty to each other despite being drawn right to the slaughter. Seeing as the vulpine was seemingly an innocent caught up in this mess and godly ki was all over the place with menacing cynicism and sadistic tendencies and threat, Chronoa dashed at him. Hand reaching forth, she went to grasp his tail despite being in the midst of fighting as other hand rose. Gine could follow and grab on, or not. "Kai kai!" Should all work without interruption, Chronoa aimed to ka kai them right to The Watch, for the Nest Building in particular where the Time Safe was.

God ki was something she couldn't sense, after all. Her eyes drew down to Fu in that brief moment. However tender she found it to be, she was given enough leeway to avoid that attack entirely. She closed her eyes and sighed softly. The first and [b]last[/b] time she'd [b]ever[/b] march into battle on a cowardly God's behalf ever again.

Much as before, though she augmented her speed enough to make several afterimages, each dash between each one causing furious, blooming pink explosions of Ki to distort view and distract, the end of which she forcefully grabbed Vegeta's shoulder and made one hell of a risky move. Tearing a rift open along the ground just long enough to slip through with him in tow.

Honorless curr!} Needless to say, she was not very happy how the Kai treated her allies in battle, be they temporary or loyal to her cause.

544[02:51] *[user]Conqueror Iskander[/user] wasn't exactly prepared for all of that. However, he heard such a loud noise, and another figure shouting out. Iskander lifted his gaze up to stare at Shroom, until the scarlet energy seemed to dance towards him in a collateral damage strike. Iskander swiftly lunged backwards, the large fox surprisingly able to jump back and land on his feet. He then seen more of that energy landing beside him, and he crouched down in a rather low stance, taking his center of gravity down to his knees. The wave of energy blasted into him, causing the fox to shout out in pain at the strange type of pain he felt through his body. But, he was a soldier, and not a stranger to pain and suffering as he shook his head back, having only hit a small bit of the shockwave. He got his base back, as he saw those figures rising up beside him, and instantly noticed them taking a stance. As the first figure snapped it's leg out towards him in those rapid kicks, it's foot hit solid plate steel, with chain mail underneath. The leather on top of the steel and underneath the mail absorbed a great deal of the blows, As Iskander was pushed back slightly, his steel boot locking in place against the ground.

546And that was when he was struck with a barrage of punches, but thankfully his armor saved him there for the most part. Iskander was already on the move when the first GRS kicked his chest, bringing his shield up and then slamming it down. The fox, albeit not an alien fighter or even an earthling with powers, had spent the last decade in battlefield combat, and was good at timing counters to attacks that came at him. And as GRS-1 launched out another kick, he smashed the pointed bottom of his shield in a downward swing against his shin, knocking his leg down while driving the tip through the flesh of it's shin, and into the bone. Iskander ripped the shield upwards and at an angle, ripping out chunks of flesh from it's shin.

548Right after he did so, grunting and flinching slightly with the blows of GRS-2 to his sides and ribcage, which were protected by that leather and chainmail still, but they were most likely hitting incredibly hard, he brought his right arm up and out to the side. The spikes put into the leather at his elbow came out in a smashing backhanded swing, driving the spikes of his elbow into the knuckles of GRS-2 as they came in for another punch. Iskander shrugged his arm away, tearing the spikes out of his knuckles before launching himself up and to the right, driving his steel shoulder pad, complete with Iron spikes coming out of it, into the chin and face of the creature. The set of spikes drove up into it's chin, digging deep into the flesh before Iskander rolled to the right, ripping the spikes through the flesh of it's face and chin. 
549[02:52] *[user]Conqueror Iskander[/user] The fox took that moment to then push himself back, locking himself down into his low stance as he stared at the two figures, before he held his flail at his side. He rotated his shoulder and forearm, swinging the flail in a small [url=https://youtu.be/_CURQUAgtCM?t=49] Chain Dance [/url] Before his booming voice chuckled out of his helmet. "Ow.... You two actually hit rather hard.... Good to know with the magic and flying happening, that some people still fight hand to hand.. "And with that, he stayed crouched back, his shield raised up as he angled his body to hide behind it. He set the shield bottom against his left knee, and brought it up as he lowered his head, locking back onto his right foot to create a small wall of meat, fur and metal.

551He then nodded his head, bouncing the rim of the top of his helmet off his shield as if to signify "Come, Break your back against the Wall." But then, he felt a presence behind him. Of course, in all his armor, his tail was hidden away, routed through paths precisely molded in his steel backplate so that it wasn't open for damage. But, Chronoa caught the pouch at his back and the toughened leather held tight, as he was suddenly Kai Kai'd away from the scene, the vulpine shouting out in surprise. Everything in his vision distorted, and he tried to tear himself away from Chronoa, but soon he ended up at The Watch, Iskander tumbling to the ground with a great deal of clattering and clanking, and smearing of blood from his shield and spikes. He grunted out, pushing himself up onto his feet, his flail still in his hand and his shield still strapped to his arm. He groaned out, blinking in shock as he stared at Chronoa. "What... In the Fates just happened? What was all that!? Where am I?"

553The vulpine spoke out, his voice booming from beneath his helmet as he stared at her. Before he looked around, still dazed and confused as his voice quieted down a bit. "What... Were they shooting at eachother? And how did that thing just... Summon people to fight me?"

571Truth be told, neither GRS was used to armored opponents and the two weren't very powerful fodder. The shield threw them both for a loop. This resulted in a lot of bashing... and.. damage.. and.. and Shroom pointed at the fray with his scythe, other arm holding his gut as he laughed to the point he began kicking himself through the air for a lack of rolling across the ground. Then the fox was gone... Those Grim Reaper Soldiers though.. One was a beaten mess on the ground and the other wobbling, to the point Shroom looked at the two and shook his head with a blissful smile. [color=brown]"Damn.."[/color] And just like that, a soul-harvesting swipe of his scythe slashed at his two henchmen, cleaving them clear in twain... which resulted in Shroom cackling and rolling about some more. Gaze narrowed with Onyx eyes fixated to lock with Gine, and upper lip curled slightly. All clear indications that he weren't about to thank her, but instead give her a proper earful for what she'd just done. "You idiot! Leave it to someone of relation to that clown Kakarot to screw up something as simple as protect Chronoa!" Blunt, as always. "Do you not understand that Fu were waiting there because I spoke with him prior? That the reason why I wanted [b]YOU[/b] to protect that damned Kai were because she were not supposed to come!" A deep growl resonated within his throat. "Unbelievable, things were going as planned, then that damned edgelord appeared, along with that blasted fox creature. We were [b]this[/b] close to wiping one pawn from the board and gathering energy needed!" His hand moved upwards to pinch the bridge of his nose with a heavy, heavy groan of annoyance.
604[03:19] *[user]Chronoa O Clock[/user] panted heavily as they appeared at The Watch. The Nest Wing building was smaller than any Time Nest but certainly worked for her. Still.. it was so... empty. Part of her felt that was very well how it should be, given the recent events. Granted, she certainly had more faith in Vegeta than Gine, certain the Prince wasn't going to die in that situation. The kai hugged her wounded shoulder, forcing herself to her feet in a bit of a stagger before making way for one of the medical kits. "I'm sorry.. You're at The Watch, at my wing in particular. This is where the Time Patrol has their headquarters within this area, the Void Nexus... It's a lot to.. to explain.. but you're safe, okay? I.. I can explain things.. I just need a few moments.."

606Those few moments were spent tending to her injury and trying to process not just what had happened, but the words of her new company. "So to answer your questions, I need to start by first asking some of my own.. Normally I could do it another way but.." But she was too extended and opted to just melt into a chair. "My name is Chronoa... What's yours and where are you from?" Starting with the where was easier than the when, for now.  Despite wanting to just nurse her wounds and get word to Trunks and Bardock, she was instead tending to the distraught innocent over her own needs and fears. Even with the turmoil brewing and bubbling over, Chronoa forced a small, soft smile for the vulpine... although it did not reach her eyes.
607[03:31] *[user]Timelost Gine[/user] was most certainly expecting there to be blood, less harsh words for the fact that she pulled the Prince from battle. "[color=yellow]We were surrounded and I wasn't given clear enough instruction. I am not a blind pawn and I don't follow orders without reason.[/color]" She wanted to bark back and meet his energy in kind, though in truth she was reeling from being kept in the dark and trying to keep her thoughts on lingering on what she'd do or say on meeting that Kai again. "[color=yellow]I made a judgement call. A retreat was being made without you being included for some sickening [b]bravado and act[/b]. No one was making an opening for you, you were running out of energy fast and you were [b]completely[/b] surrounded by the enemy. What did you [b]expect[/b] me to do? Watch you die for some stupid cowardly God?[/color]"

609This was not unlike her 'marital disputes' with Bardock. She was free spirited, had a mind and conscience of her own on which to act, one that had to be tempered to handle a situation beforehand. Tears were streaming down her face. "[color=yellow]And if I did what the hell did you want me to tell your son? 'Sorry, I let your father die because he was an inconvenience to your boss.' I'm better than that dammit! We aren't under Frieza anymore![/color]" It was very clear and bright as day she didn't let reasoning guide her, nor a moral code but how she was feeling. Her instincts and emotions were a dual edged blade, often one that required walking around.
610[03:32] *[user]Conqueror Iskander[/user] stood there, looking around for a moment. It seemed that he had been investigating the area, and as she spoke he turned to look at her. Iskander watched her tend her shoulder, and took a few steps over, watching her. "Do you need help with that? I've... Spent my fair share of time patching up battlefield wounds.. And... Well... My name is Iskander, and I reign from the kingdom of Irifter. Well, I used to. I don't know anymore.. "His voice, now that she had stated they were safe, and she explained where they were, had swiftly gone back to it's rather calm, deep tone. He reached up, his shield still strapped to his arm as he unstrapped his helmet and pulled it off. It revealed a furry head, scars crisscrossing his face, and his lips extremely chapped and rough. Patches of grey fur marked where his scars were, and there was even a chunk missing from his right ear. He set his helmet down beside him, and proceeded to unstrap his shield and place it upon his back once more. He clipped his flail to his waist, and swiftly crouched down beside her.

612Iskander didn't even seem to notice the blood glistening on the spikes of his elbow and shoulders as he reached behind him into the pouch at his back. He opened it, and dug around for a moment before pulling out a small black vial. The fox looked up at the Kai, and held the vial out as a smile seemed to come to his lips. It did reach his eyes, but they seemed to be... desperate eyes. Albeit a bright, glittering sapphire green, there seemed to be little joy and happiness in them. They were the eyes of one that had lost everything, and was just trying to get through life and do good after they've done so much evil.

614Iskander held the vial out in his large gauntlet clad paw, as he gazed up at her. "Please. I don't know what type of attacks those magic beams were, but even the glance I got hurt like all Hel. This is a simple salve I learned on the farm. It helps to numb and take away the pain and swelling in the injured area. I'm fine okay? Whatever that was that attacked me didn't do much through my armor. I must admit... I'm confused as all hell, and wondering with a lot of questions. But I'm finally a free man after a decade of imprisonment, and I just saw things I never thought possible. So... Take a minute to take care of yourself, and I'll try to process what I just saw..And once you feel better, you can explain to me what all that was. Deal?"

[i]Third time?[/i] He was prepared and Mechikabura wasn't around to tell him no... well... not until Gravy reported and told him what was up. At the very least, Shroom was set on following. The Ol' Bossman liked a show, maybe Shroom could record him a little somethin' somethin'.

"You will hold your tongue this very instant woman!" A scowl curled the corners of his lips downwards as he glared with piercing stare at the Saiyness. "You're a damned fool, do you honestly think that me, the [b]PRINCE[/b] of [b]ALL[/b] Saiyan would fall in a battle against some roided out false god? I see that you truly are out of the loop as to just what I've encountered within my life." He took deep breath, holding it for long moment before he let loose with slow exhale in annoyance. "That fight were being drug out on my part, in order for plan to work I needed to do damage in battle and disperse a vast amount of ki to be collected. As it appeared, yes you made the proper judgement call to pull me from battle, but. As it didn't appear because one does not show their hand until the proper time, I were holding back, in order to ensure that the plan were successful."

647He scoffed, and arms raised to fold over his chest. "As a Saiyan I was hoping that you'd understand the perils of being involved in battle. I counted on you to act with level head, and not have the hot headed reaction to rush in blindly, but instead for you to stick to protecting that Kai whom is far weaker than she appears. Just as you she could have died on that battlefield, yet she still went, and unlike you she kept her calm and remained in the rear to let the fighters take point." His temper quelled to a small degree, at least enough for him to stop with his punishment of her ears by raising his voice. "If you had a level head like she did, maybe you would have seen that everything was not as it appeared. By the look on her face, I suspect that she had inkling that attempt were made to make her into a fool."

For Chronoa, it wasn't unusual to come across those with such looks of loss and yearning, given her position and those she tended to meet. However, this stranger was one of the few to see how his gaze matched her own, dark eyes glistening with tears that she refused to let fall. If they did.. They may never stop. The recent double betrayal of the day had been too much even for her front, especially with her sworn-nemesis-former-partner being a much needed ally in a shaky temporary alliance against the greater evil that was Mechikabura.. ..and now Fu.

653With the vial offered, Chronoa reached out and set her pink hand over Iskander's and it. "Thank you Iskander, but trust me.. You'll need to save that and use it in a time of need. This isn't one of those times. I'll be alright and know how to mend.. I.. I've had a lot of practice..." Over 75 million years worth, really. "What you witnessed today isn't magic-- well, some of it is.. but not all. We call it ki, and it gets used in combat which is the manipulation of life's energy. Every living being has it, but not everyone can utilize it. Most are oblivious to it throughout their entire lives... Those soldiers that were summoned.. they.. They were only playing with you. ...This.." A deep swallow had to be made to compose herself. "This entire ordeal has just been one big game to them..." She fully secured the wrapping to her shoulder and arm, wincing slightly before opting to put on one of the slings, just to take some of the strain off. "A decade of imprisonment, huh? Must have been rough.." Time and most mortal issues were a bit beyond her, but she had gotten better with the understanding the more she was around others and had more interest in personal bits of their lives, no matter how short in comparison to her own existence.

I've lost everything I lived for, and I have nothing to go forward now. Just the will of survival is keeping me going. So please, take  it as a thank you for helping me today. Those soldiers were fast, but they didn't seem to have much durability or battlefield fighting knowledge to them. But all those...Ki? Attacks being thrown out, one hit and I probably would've been ruined.

His eyes seemed to drift off, as Iskander reached up to gently run his paw over a piece of glittering silver at his neck. A small, thin necklace barely visible under the plate and leather of his chestpiece. He slowly crouched down beside her, his armor clattering as he squatted beside her. And slowly reached up, his actions much more gentle than one would expect of a 6'3, armor clad vulpine, and he gently set his paw against her shoulder. Iskander barely used it to brace as he grabbed the sling strap and tightened it down, so that she didn't have to struggle with reaching behind her shoulder and doing it herself. Iskander tightened it down rather expertly actually, to where it took the strain of her shoulder and put more of it into the muscles of her neck and back.

661Once he did so, he just quietly sat back and rested back on his knees. His metal boots thudded as he stuck the toes of them against the ground and sat back on his heels, showing a surprising amount of flexibility... And he just watched her for a moment, before speaking up....His gaze locked upon her face. "Chronoa... I can see the tears... What's wrong? Is the pain that bad? Please, feel free to use that salve. I can always make more. Or is it something else?" The vulpine man asked. He may be a creature of war at this point, used to seeing thousands of dead bodies rotting on battlefields, and used to pain and death... But at his core he was a gentle spirit, and even if she was a total stranger that he knew nothing about...  He had suffered enough pain in his life that he didn't want to see others in it.

She stuck her finger in her mouth, inspecting whatever damage that slap may have caused. She could take the punishment, and certainly didn't mind it.

It also spoke volumes about Iskander, making Chronoa eye him in value, should he be able to make such things and perhaps even work with those unique beans themselves. She herself could only relate in one way... which was the repeated loss and encounters and further loss and banishing of Demigra. How they were now on the same page over the matter of Mechikabura was a wonder.. yet.. part of her was thankful. ...Despite it seemed history was repeating itself. "I'm sorry, Iskander.. I hope you're able to find yourself living with a much better future."

685Chronoa even refrained from speaking about being the Supreme Kai of Time, whereas normally she all too happily exclaimed in animated fashion, pose and all. No.. no not this time, not now. The talk of family was a heavy weight too for she herself had only Tokitoki... He and Demigra were all she had known. The vulpine helping to fix that sling brace from her haphazard job was welcomed, a bow of her head made in thanks as the usually talkative kai found herself in more of a reserved silence. Really, she couldn't even muster up a proper thank you. It became even more difficult as the tears were called out.

He then dug around in a few of the pouches at his hip, before pulling out a leather flask. And he held it out to her, his voice still rather quiet. "Or at least, keep your energy up. I'm sure in a magical place like this, there are great, healing foods... But I have never found any to work as good as well seasoned venison soup. This is my last batch.... Please take it. As good as it is, I'm going insane from how much I've drank.."

Don't know w hat to do ma'am... I do want to stay and help here... But I saw those people throwing out things I never knew possible... Taking out pieces of earth with no effort... He shook his head, lifting it to gaze down at chronoa once again. "I shall do so. If you want me to make more vials of that salve, I'll have to find a place to plant the seeds and cultivate them. I'll get on that once I figure out.. How.. To uh.. Get back to the rock where I was sleeping... "And it was at that point that he realized he was completely lost.. And he just let out a quiet chuckle at his own stupidity of his situation.
