87Nearly a decade ago, the whole world was thrown into chaos and all human life was threatened. A child going by the name of The Hero orchestrated events that lead to global attack from Rayquaza. Unforeseen, sudden and the population unprepared, the initial attack slaughtered millions. The struggle to fight back and survive began until a small group deciphered the leader of the attack to be in Kanto and went to kill the said leader and bring the world back to peace.
88The group, accompanied by Gary, Red and Samuel Oak went to fight The Hero and his Black Rayquaza in an attempt to halt the assault on the earth. While they were successful, in midst the combat, Samuel Oak was killed and the Rayquaza ceased their attacks and returned to the atmosphere.
89The world is still in recovery but far enough that things seem like they're back to normal. Gary has yet to recover from the loss of Samuel Oak and the Kanto region is left without a Pokémon Professor.
90Confrontation from Gold prompted Red to take his role as Kanto Champion more seriously and he revised the Kanto Pokémon League. New Gym Leaders were assigned and the old ones created the Medal League as roaming gym leaders with minor influence.
91Four new hopefuls: Hotaru, Sarah, Cassiopeia and Ma-Nyeo were granted the opportunity to be the first new official trainers in nearly a decade to be welcome by a Pokémon Professor in the Kanto region.
92Given admission and licensing paperwork for a Trainer License and Pokédex they were allowed aboard the S.S.Anne to drop off at Vermillion City where they would use Driblim transport to then reach the Viridian City to turn in their paperwork for their license proper.
93The boat, now docked at the Vermillion City port, has opened the doors to unload its passengers into the port city proper. The scent of murky waters, seafood, waterlogged boxes and rubber assaults your nostils the moment you step into the port.

101	Hotaru: 	A Joy in a halter top and tight jeans walked over to the Pokemon Center, looking around to see if anyone was loitering outside. If not, she'd go inside.
102	Cassiopeia: 	A blue-haired woman was jotting some entries down in a journal, as she was disembarking from the boat and trying to meander through the crowds on the way to the Center. "June 1st: Light rain with a slight breeze, and the air is fairly warm and humid - seems fairly typical for approaching summer so far. Feels a little unpleasant but not enough to cause real discomfort."
103Narrator: 	There is a lady in a business suit standing outside of the Pokémon Center with faded blond hair.
104	Sarah: 	Stepping off the boat, she takes a deep whiff of the last thing that's probably gonna remind her of her home. Witth one last breath of sea and hard work, she'll have a smile on her face as she's ready to take on the new world! Having her duffel bag hanging over her shoulder, and Suzy resting on her other shoulder lazily she chuckles at the state of it all, and heads her way over to where this Pokemon center was located, and approaching the rather fancy dressed woman standing outside of it.
105	Hotaru: 	"Excuse me," the Joy said as she walked over to the lady in the suit. "Are yo Miss King?"

107	Ma-Nyeo: 	A purple haired woman wearing a matching dress was one of the last to depart, glancing around frequently. She carried a bag at her side and had a pikachu doll on her shoulder. Upon reaching the docks she fretted about, coming up to the first local she could find and asking, "Excuse me, which way to the pokemon center?" Her voice shook, as if she were asking something shameful.
108	Lady Business: 	Lady Business tilts her head when spoken to and nearly does a double take, "Ah...aha, yes. A Joy. I didn't want to believe it - I mean...it's a little-" Lady Business clears her throat, "Yes, I am Nadia Zelven King. But please, call me Nadi."
109	First Local: 	First Local pauses in place and turns to Ma-Nyeo, "I ain't done nothing!"
110	Ma-Nyeo: 	"Whawha!" Ma-Nyeo doubles back.
111	First Local: 	First Local sighs and pulls out a book and looks it over before glancing to Ma-Nyeo, "I don't know you, do I?"
112	Hotaru: 	The Joy smiled at Nadi. "Don't worry, Nadi, I get that a lot. I'm Hotaru, one of the Mt. Moon Joys. I'm supposed to be meeting with you and a few others for the trainer drive?"
113	Ma-Nyeo: 	"I hope not. I'm just trying to... trying to find the pokemon center..."
114	Lady Business: 	Lady Business smiles and waves at the air a few times, "...Hotaru, yep. You're here. I'm just waiting for the others..." Lady Business turns her head to Sarah when she walks up.
115	Sarah: 	Approaching the Joy and the Suit, "Yo! Are you the person I was told to meet? I was told to meet someone outside the center."
116	First Local: 	"Look, the Pokemon Center is the big red and white building in the center of town." First Local stamps her feet and points toward the building. You have a good idea where it is now.
117	First Local: 	"Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to check on a delivery. It's late. And it being late means I'm late. And that means bad th---Ugh, why am I even talking to you about this?! Go on! Shoo, shoo!"
118	Ma-Nyeo: 	"Sorry! Sorry!" Ma-Nyeo runs away!
119	Nadi: 	Nadi giggles to Sarah and shrugs, "Perhaps. I am Nadia Zelven King. Were you looking for a female King, by chance?"
120	Cassiopeia: 	Remembering she was supposed to meet up at the Center, Cassiopeia kept her eyes peeled for any larger buildings with red rooves and Poke Ball symbols emblazoned over the archways. There weren't many buildings that fit that description, so she paced briskly in that direction. She could see it from here.
121	Sarah: 	Sarah pauses for a few moments, before reaching into her pocket rooting a bit before pulling out the lettter she got. Re-reading the name, she'll smile before stashing it again. "Yep! That's right, good ta meet ya miss!"

134	Sarah: 	She'll nod her head. "Das right! Mah name's Sarah!" She'll motion to the lazy fox on her shoulder, "And dis is Suzy~! And don't worry 'bout smokin'. I don't got an issue wit it."
135	Hotaru: 	"No, I don't mind if you smoke, Nadi. Everyone's got their habits, right?"
136	Ma-Nyeo: 	"H-hi..." Ma-Nyeo timidly waves her hand.
137	Sarah: 	Sarah will turn around at the meek greeting, " 'Ey dere! Ya joinin' us then?"
138	Nadi: 	"Ma-Nyeo. I was told you were a bit eccentric. Though, you're much more mundane than I was led to believe."
139	Hotaru: 	"Maybe she's only really able to let it out when she's not surrounded by strangers? Some people have that sort of limit, right?"
140	Ma-Nyeo: 	"I- I think so. My name is Ma-Nyeo." She places her hands on the top of her head, palms out and fingers pointing up, "But you can call me Ma-Nyan if you like...!"
141	Ma-Nyeo: 	"Eheheeh..." Ma-Nyeo holds the pose while her face goes red.
142	Cassiopeia: 	Cassiopeia ended up being the last to arrive, getting there about 20 seconds after Ma-Nyeo did. Seeing the group outside, and one of them being in business attire, she believed this was probably the group she was looking for.
143She waited for an opening in the conversation, and then offered a curt but polite: "Pardon me. Might I ask you a question?"
144	Nadi: 	"I think I'll remain professional. We're only waiting for your 4th now."

154	First Local: 	First Local walks right past the four of you to Nadi and pulls out a book, "Auntie, mind if I ask you a few questions?"
155	Ma-Nyeo: 	Ma-Nyeo slides behind the nearest person, breaking line of sight with First Local.
156	Nadi: 	"I am." Nadi says before looking down at First Local, "Mel, what're you doing here? I thought you'd have already met with Rainbow."

162	Hotaru: 	"It's not like we're in a hurry, Nadi. Besides, this sounds kind of important."
163* Hotaru has given her first direct indication to not-Nadia that she's not just a local joy doing work or something.
164	Nadi: 	"Aww, look. She's so understanding even when you're messing up." Nadi smiles a bit before patting Mel, "Let it be a morale boost, okay?" Nadi pulls a Poké Ball from her jacket sleeve and hands it to Mel, "Alright. Now off with you. Shoo."
165	Mel: 	"I owe you one, auntie." Mel says as she releases the Drifblim and stands under it, waiting for it to grab her by her shoulders.
166	Nadi: 	"I know sweetie. I know."
167	Mel: 	Mel's expression turns from one of gratitude to one of horror as she statement echoes in her head. Moment's later, the Drifblim rises into the air with Mel and moves north, toward Cerulean.
168	Ma-Nyeo: 	"Is that pokemon going to give her back?"
169	Nadi: 	"Now, where were we..." Nadi pauses and looks around, "Oh, yes. How fortunate. I couldn't have asked for a better display of how to use my Drifblim for transportation."
170	Sarah: 	Sarah couldn't help but have a subdued chuckle at the two's interaciton, though more in good nature of that exchange.

172	Hotaru: 	"We're going to do a flight-by-'mon to Viridian, then. Do you mind if I take a moment to greet my cousins before I go?"

179	Sarah: 	"No rushin' needed on my part don't worry." Sarah's female but she looks rather... durable. Her gear and clothes seem to be more for comfortability and durability than fasion. If the leather jacket, jeans, boots, and the rucksack were any clue.
180	Hotaru: 	The Joy is wearing a black halter-top, tight blue jeans that reveal she may not be entirely standard woman (dem weirdo joys), and black combat boots, the pants held up by a probably-unnecessary belt given how well they fit. The fit of her clothes suggest Light Padding underneath, and she's got a Pokeball on her belt. Her backpack is over half-full of things and stuff, and she has a light shield hidden between her backpack and her back.

184	Cassiopeia: 	Aside from what is visible in the portrait image, Cassiopeia is also carrying a small backpack over one arm. She also appears to be wearing light padded clothes beneath the jacket. Nothing else seems unusual.

186	Nurse Joy : 	Nurse Joy smiles when Hotaru enters and grins, "You're a long way from home, sweetheart. What brings you to my neck of the woods?"

197	Cassiopeia: 	Cassiopeia looks up at the sky to see where the sun is. It looked only about a half-hour after sunrise. "Hm, I see."
198	Sarah: 	Sarah will look up at the sun and will look back down at ma, a little confused. Visibly so. "...M'kay."
199	Hotaru: 	"Speaking from experience as someone who is more like her, some aggression from folks like you can be fun too, as long as it's not at an extreme. But yeah, I'll tell her to get on finding a lady to love. Thanks,hon."
200	Nadi: 	"You guys may want to agree on a traveling time, it sounds like." Nadi says, placing a cig in her mouth and flicking the tip once with her thumb, causing it to light. She inhales deeply before exhaling with a look of satisfaction, "Personally, I enjoyed traveling Kanto at night. It was nice to see this strange land in a state unseen by most humans."
201	Nurse Joy : 	"Oh yah, I'm sure. But unfortunately I'm attracted to more mundane men. And they're usually turned off by an aggressive lady like myself so..." Nurse Joy sighs, "...I'm alone. Anyway, thanks for stopping by an' all. I suppose I'll be seeing you again later though, yeah?"
202	Ma-Nyeo: 	"Mmm! it's when pokemon I like want to come out."

212	Nadi: 	"Ghosts, eh? They care more about environment I think than time of day." Nadi says taking another deep hit of her cig, "Like, go through the marshlands up north and you'll encounter them no matter what. Go through the Viridian Forest? Yeah, you might see one or two at most. Hit the caves around Route 2 and they aren't there at all."
213	Sarah: 	"And that's why I'm here Ms. King."

With the fallout from the war, tensions between humans and Pokemon have risen beyond anything imaginable in the past. And this time, we don't have a swath of Trainers to throw at the problem."
221	Nadi: 	"That's not to say people haven't tried. Because they have. And still are. With mixed results. Mostly of them dying. Horribly. Shortly after entering the Pokemon controlled environments most of the time."
222	Nadi: 	"You'll be heading to Viridian city to speak with Gary Oak. If things go well, you'll all be in and out with your new licenses and pokedexes in 5 minutes."

227	Cassiopeia: 	"I assume the plan is contingent on us convincing Mr. Oak to grant us trainer licenses. There is a chance that exists he might not?"
228	Sarah: 	Sarah will quiet down, and will cross her arms. Her face will be stoney, and she'll listen rather closely.
229	Nadi: 	"The League, namely Red, has been trying to convince Gary to take his place. Gary hasn't been quite so...agreeable in the matter. But, from my understanding, with the decrease in people taking up the role of Trainer, due to the calamity, we need incentives to push toward someone taking up that mantle. He's the best fit so we're pressuring him."
230	Nadi: 	"You'll need to convince Gary to, at the very least, give you four official Trainer licenses."

234	Hotaru: 	"We'll see what we can do," Hotaru said, feeling a little conflicted. She'd have to see the whole situation before she made a decision. "But yeah, people need someone to help light the fires of hope in their hearts."

289	Hotaru: 	Now that it's almost time to go, Hotaru pulls her backpack and shield off of her back. She pulls out a black leather jacket and puts it on, puts her pack back into place, and straps her shield into place. "Ready."
290The Drifblim appear in a flash of brilliant white light and hover in the air looking around. After a moment they settle in just above the average humans height and lower their tendrils to latch onto a human.
291	Hotaru: 	Hotaru reaches up to get latched onto. "We're on the road to Viridian City."
292	Ma-Nyeo: 	Ma-Nyeo recalls Miss Mallow!
293	Ma-Nyeo: 	"R-ready! Kidnap away!"
294* Cassiopeia looks upward to the Drifblim, then stretches out her arms slightly upward, keeping her fists clenched and hear arms taut, ready to be grabbed.
295	Sarah: 	Sarah, will pick up Sarah off of her shoulder, and stick her in the duffel bag. After a little bit of effort, she'll pop her head out of the opening looking around. With that, sarah will nod her head. "Ready drifblim!"
296The Drifblim's tendrils snake down your arms and grips your shoulders tightly before snaking around your chest and gripping there tightly.
297	Nadi: 	Nadi claps her hands and the three Drifblim instantly snap their heads to face her, "Alright boys, Viridian City. Shoo, shoo."
298	Ma-Nyeo: 	"Ah~!"
299When Nadi shoo's her Drifblim away, they instantly take rise and go straight up, taking you at least 20 meters into the air before turning to the west and floating over the forests. The rush of wind in your face is chilling.
300	Hotaru: 	"... That is mildly uncomfortable. But you're the professional flyer, I guess."
301	Sarah: 	"Whoahoahoa~! This is awesome!"
302	Cassiopeia: 	"I don't think I've ever looked down at the ground before while in midair."
303* Hotaru goes quiet when they start ascending, having to take some time to get used to it. And gods be merciful, her face was COLD!
304The flight takes significantly shorter than it would to walk or ride there. But still longer than would be comfortable dangling at a steep height. You arrive in Viridian City 3.5 hours later.
305The Drifblim circle around the city and slows itself down to prevent a crash landing. However, even at a slower pace with you not having used your legs, or even your weight, for anything for the past nearly 4 hours the landing is jarring and painful.
306The Drifblim release you in front of the Pokémon Center and floats nearby to await its Poké Ball.
307	Sarah: 	Sarah hises for a few seconds on the rough landing, but after shaking her legs a bit, she'll nod her head to the transport and returns them to the ball. "Thanks for the lift!" Once the lent was stashed away, Sarah will take out Suzy from the bag and replace her on her free shoulder.
308	Hotaru: 	"Sweet merciful terra firma. Gods be praised," Hotaru mumbled, groaning from the impact. She looked around, cchecking to see if anyone was waiting for them.
309Ma-Nyeo: 	The landing is enough to wake Ma-Nyeo up. She sees what the pokemon are waiting for and hands out the pokeball.
310Sarah: 	"What? Not much of a flyer?"
311Cassiopeia: 	Cassiopeia nearly tumbles onto the ground, but catches herself with her outstretched arms before her face hits the floor. She brushes herself off, gives the Drifblim a polite 'thank you', and recalls it.

313	Hotaru: 	"I used to live inside a mountain before this. Take a guess, flygirl."

549	Deep Blue: 	"Might I recommend a liqueur? It will have significantly more effect so that the contest will be over sooner." The Beldum spoke in a light but computerized voice.

551	Nurse Joy: 	"I forget if its 80 or 85-proof. But that should be cinnamon flavour."

564	Sarah: 	Sarah will look at Suzy for a second before shaking her head. 'Not trusting you. She knows a fire move, but it's... not for liting booze."

566	Hotaru: 	Hotaru pulled off her backpack, searching through its pockets... "Ah, here." She pulled out FLINT & STEEL. "Ready?"

571	Nurse Joy: 	Nurse Joy pours two full glasses and then, using the flint and steel, lights the tops of the glass. It flares to life before the flames simmer down to a gentle blue glaze.

573	Cassiopeia: 	"Don't blink."
574	Sarah: 	Sarah lifts up the glass, and does a simple raising cheer for it. "Always~!"
575	Kamal: 	Kamal nods to Sarah and downs his glass, gripping the table and nearly coughing it up due to the flames.

577	Sarah: 	Sarah knocks it back herself. A shiver runs up her back as she coughs and laughs at the same time.

611	Sarah: 	Sarah will be coughing a bit less than the last few drinks. "Oh my, fantasizing about one of my firends taking me to bed? We've barely even met! Though admitedly, I know I look good." She'll say posing a bit. Suzy just pats her on the head to get her to stop inflating her own ego.
612	Officer Jenny: 	"...Are these the kids for Gary?"
613	Nurse Joy: 	"Indeed. The smell of After Shock will be hilarious when Gary see's them."
614	Sarah: 	Sarah will nod her head. "Yes, but this man's begging for a deal to be made!"
615	Nurse Joy: 	Nurse Joy pours the final glasses and lights them again. She takes this moment to smooth out the flames and swirls the liquid a bit, turning the flames green, "Here you go, boys and girls."

640	Hotaru: 	"You've had so long to realize you're just pushing your luck, and then you go and bet against an Alolan where alcohol is involved? Do you want to shame yourself before the gods?"
