268Kumar Thangudu, I use more apps than anyone on the planet.
269Updated May 30
27020,000 Web & Mobile Apps.
271My cofounder and I have downloaded and used over 20,000 web and mobile apps over the past ~800 days. Here are some of our favorites, from the standpoint of being SAAS entrepreneurs/founders of LinkTexting - Create Text To Download Forms in Seconds.
272
273Keep in mind as a founder, your mental clock cycles are worth a lot of money. You should not waste them on the normal distribution of tasks.
274
275
276Keep in mind that most of these are just tools and knowing how to use them quickly requires practice, plenty of mistakes, and a willingness to fail.
277
278Digit App Automatically Saves Money- Digit App automatically feeds your savings w/ side-change.
279
280
281List Your Startup On All The right launch sites. StartupSubmitter - This one saves me a bunch of time every time I want to test an idea.
282
283
284Automated Financing/Saving Money - Automate your savings, intelligently
285
286
287Make Highly Performant Logos in Seconds with Logaster - Logaster is a tool for quickly making a logo that looks good.
288
289
290My Number One Productivity Tool: The best Gmail add-on to boost your productivity
291 | Mixmax
292
293
294I use this product religiously and it has saved me a ridiculous amount of time as well added awesome color and personality to my emails with customers and business partners.
295
296My Number One Landing Page Tool: I've made several hundred dollars a month in simple human SAAS services by using Landing Page Software for Better Marketing The crazy thing about this tool is the sheer number of functionalities and the speed with which I can make an industry grade landing page and website. IF YOU ARE AN ENTREPRENEUR, YOU MUST LEARN HOW TO USE THIS TOOL.
297
298
299My Number One Data Collection Tool
300
301
302http://www.apifier.com
303
304If you need to scrape data from any website, Apifier comes in handy. If you're a developer, you can setup a crawler yourself using a few lines of JavaScript. If you're not a developer, they will do it for you for a fraction of price that other companies charge. This is beyond amazing.
305
306Non-technical Founders
307In this post, I've focused on apps that I find useful both in freeing my mind of non-entrepreneurial tasks and/or speeding up the prototype to launch process and beyond. I also focus on apps that are highly abstracted for non-technical people like me. That being said, I think if you have no-one on your team that is technical in a startup, then you're at a severe disadvantage, similar to attending a gun fight with a knife.
308
309Full Stack Startup- for the Technical Founders/Entrepreneurs.
310If I was technical, I'd recommend looking toward building a full stack company: http://a16z.com/2015/01/22/the-f... as described by @chris dixon.
311
312Why We Use/Review such a Dizzying Number of Apps.
313We constantly strive for ways to be resourceful and study what new apps come out, their UX/UI, and try to understand if the founder knows anything about user behavior that we couldn't possibly dream up.
314
315Decision Criteria for Most Productive.
316Each tool has a hyper-specific function and not much outside of that. In other words, it must be for only one thing. If the use cases abound, then it loses points and becomes less productive.
317
318Here We Go:
319MailMatch- MailMatch
320MailMatch helps you mine all your leads for useful social data. The tool is really powerful for finding bloggers in your funnel.
321
322
323Visual Ping- Website change detection, monitoring and alerts
324Allows you to monitor competitors' pages for changes. Pretty sweet for knowing if you need to make front-end wording or marketing changes. English isn't my first language so this one is particularly useful if my competitor is more skilled verbally than me.
325
326
327SpyFu - Search Marketing Research & Reporting Tools
328Couples well with the above tool, if you see the competitor funneling traffic into an A/B tested landing page, then you'll know that you should make appropriate copycat changes to your own site.
329
330
331Ahrefs - Ahrefs Site Explorer & Backlink Checker

374Chris Remus
375Chris Remus, I get a lot done, while keeping my stress in check.
376Written Jul 14
377The best productivity tool for entrepreneurs is a simple list of daily priorities. 3-6 daily priorities should be in the list. That's it. Using a daily priority list will maximize your productivity. It also helps you reduce stress. Reducing stress helps prevent burnout.
378
379Maximum Performance for the Long Haul
380
381This means you'll be able to perform at your most productive over the long haul. This last point is important, because being an entrepreneur is a long journey.
382
383I'm an entrepreneur and set a small number of priorities for my day. I do this each morning before the day gets started. I make it a point to do it BEFORE checking email or social networks. My daily priority list maximizes my productivity each day.
384
385I've completed over 2,000 tasks using a daily priority list. Download the same template I use every day for free here.
386
387
388My days are MORE productive and LESS stressful as a result. I feel optimistic and hopeful I'm operating at my most productive for the long haul.
389
390Why This Works
391
392Here’s why this works so well!
393
394Leo Babauta of Zen Habits recommends a similar approach -
395
396"Three MITs -
397
398Here’s your planning system each day: write down your three Most Important Tasks on a sheet of paper (I write mine in a Moleskine pocket notebook). That’s it.
399
400Check off those tasks when you finish them.
401
402Devote your entire day, if possible, to those three tasks, or at the very least devote the first half of your day to them.
403
404Your MITs are basically the Big Rocks you planned for this week, and any other MIT that you need to do for today."
405
406The Magic Number
407
408I've learned the magic # of priorities is somewhere between 3-6 per day, not more than that.
409
410Of the 3-6 priorities -
411
412-3 priorities should be work related
413
414-3 priorities should be administrative or personal (not work) in nature
415
416Set Your Priorities in the Morning
417
418I'd recommend doing this -
419
420-1st thing in the morning
421
422(...also, if you have a mediation practice, shortly after you meditate is fantastic time to do this...)
423
424-BEFORE you check email
425
426-BEFORE you check social networks
427
428The Benefits You’ll Enjoy
429
430Benefits to this approach -
431
4321 - Helps you focus throughout the day, as the distractions of the day start hitting you fast and furiously
433
4342 - Provides you with a small dose of satisfaction and motivation as you come back and check each task off your list
435
436Resist the urge to pile more into your day at this point. Allow yourself to disconnect after you've completed your list. Resting in the assurance you've completed what you set out to do that day.
437
438Do this and you'll experience a third benefit of this approach. You find that it also -
439
4403 - Helps establish and maintain a balanced sense of wellbeing
441
442While it may sound simple, the power of the approach lies in its simplicity. Give it a try for a week. I'm guessing you'll feel more productive and less stressful as a result.
443
444P.S. - Don't forget you can download the same template I use every day for free here.

449Zbigniew Czarnecki, CEO & Apptension, Chief Evangelist (a.k.a. CEO) @ Teamdeck.io
450Written Aug 10
451One of the things we found extremely useful during creating our app teamdeck is that you should always have one channel of communication for all of your teammates. You should keep your decisions easily accessible.
452
453To achieve that we used Podio for ideas generation, feedback rounds, tasks management and project planning, and Slack for direct communication but also integrations with tools for monitoring like Analytics, Intercom or Bitbucket.
454
455Why is it boosting productivity?
456
457Basically your decisions which you’re making with the marketing or sales team will in 99% of the cases have impact on development and otherwise. We found it extremely useful to mention all the dates, decisions and changes of plans during our standup meetings.
458You don’t duplicate the message. You don’t pass the message through the pipe but instead of that you’re speaking directly. No more wasting time on repeating the same message.
459You give more clarity and “power†to the people you’re working with and they do the same. Less bad choices = more time.

483Fiona Flintham, Online Marketing Strategist
484Written Mar 19
485When you’re running an online business there is no excuse for being unorganised. There are thousands of online tools to help you gain control of your virtual business and life.
486
487But isn’t that half the problem? There are so many tools for this, that and the other, that frankly, you end up feeling overwhelmed.
488
489These are the crème de la crème of must-have essentials. They will simplify your life, help you create great content and overcome those tech headaches that we all get…
490
491Simplify Your Life
492
4931 Organise your business.
494
495One thing I learnt early on in business was to create process documents for tasks that I do over and over again. I started using Googledocs, which are OK, but then I discovered Asana (https://asana.com/) and have not looked back. I love this simple, neat and clear tool for getting organized myself – and sharing projects and tasks with team members. Free until you add team members.
496
4972 Achieve your weekly goals
498
499I’ll let you into a secret. The wallpaper on my iPhone ‘lock’ screen is my weekly three-point priority goal list. This is my way of ensuring that I see my three most important goals for the week – a gazillion times a day. There is literally no getting away from it
500
501With wordswag (http://wordswag.co/) app on your phone you can create awesome text in seconds for just $3.99. Then simply save the image as your wallpaper.
502
5033 Remember everything.
504
505Evernote solves the problem of finding some awesome blog post, app or tool and needing to file it somewhere to refer back to.
506
507I use it to keep all my kids school activities and clubs in one place, I keep all my invoices filed here and things like a swipe file for brilliant examples of online sales pages or opt in incentives which you can clip from inside the web page (genius feature!).
508
509Every note in Evernote is searchable (even pdfs) and I’ve used it to share note with clients too. I could not do without Evernote premium ($45 per year) but you can start with the free version.
510
5114 Recruit great virtual staff
512
513One of the biggest problems many of us face is with unreliable staff, assistants suddenly disappearing, being flakey or just not following instructions correctly. I’ve recruited five virtual assistants in the last few years and they have all been exceptional and cost less than $15 per hour.
514
515I’ve sourced an SEO expert in the Philippines, an adwords specialist in India, two copywriters both in USA and a social media assistant also in the Philippines.
516
517I’ve used Upwork (Upwork, the world's largest online workplace), Elance and Odesk (now all upwork) for every one and cannot recommend them enough
518
5195 Be effective with your time
520
521Need to start taking control of your time? Then install the free Rescue Time app (Time management software for staying productive and happy in the modern workplace). It keeps track of which apps and websites you send time on so you get an accurate (often surprising) idea of where your day goes. I love the weekly summary email that helps me to stay on track of my goals.
522
5236 Schedule content for your social feeds
524
525Want to share a page you're reading? Or schedule your posts for later in the day or week? Buffer (Buffer - A Smarter Way to Share on Social Media) does all this brilliantly. Use the browser extension to ‘buffer’ any content you’ve found online and it will use a smart schedule to post it out at the best times for you.
526
5277 Stop wasting time on Facebook
528
529Ever sat down to do something, got a Facebook notification, just had a quick check then looked up 40minutes later thinking “shit, what was I doing?â€
530
531Me too. Until I downloaded this little free extension for chrome. It kills the newsfeed (https://chrome.google.com/websto...) so you can’t get distracted. Problem solved.
532
533Creating content
534
5358 and 9 Quickly find relevant content for your social networks.
536
537One of my major bugbears of running an online business is the amount of time I spend on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn and industry news websites, searching for interesting topical content to share with my audience.
538
539Drumup (http://drumup.io/) makes this easy. I use it to discover content and curate it myself using the free plan, but you can schedule posts for your feeds as well.
540
541There is another nifty app that allows you to see top news stories from your friends. Nuzzle (http://nuzzel.com/) is my second favourite for curating social content. I’ve used this consistently after discovering it from Gary Vanerchuck and still use it to fill up my social content scheduler (more on that in a bit).
542
54310 Easily create stunning graphics for your blog.
544
545I honestly don’t know what I would do without Canva (Amazingly Simple Graphic Design Software). If you have a website, or a social media page (and are not a designer) you’ll know how frustrating it is trying to create email headers, blog post images, ebook covers, social media posts or page headers. Even creating Facebook ad images are a synch with Canva.
546
547I upgraded to Canva for work because I use it so much and wanted to have my ‘brand-kit’ built in. You can use the free version for most things. Truly a must-have.
548
54911 Quickly find free stock photos
550
551Searching for good free images for use on my blog = Bain of my life. I used to spend forever looking in 7-10 different places for images. Until I discovered Zoomyapp (https://zoommyapp.com/).
552
553This is the only place I search now when I need to source an image. There are more than 18000 photos licensed under Creative Commons Zero from 30 different sources. The search function isn’t’ great but having them all in one app saves lots of time. ($3.99)
554
55512 Get colors from any image
556
557OK I admit this is not a ‘must-have’ online tool – but it is such a cool little thing that I had to include it. If you’re creating an image and want to find out the hexcode of certain colours then upload the image into this nifty tool and it will tell you exactly what the hexcode is. Get Colors from Image
558
55913 Create beautiful in-situ images
560
561When I created my first ebook I agonized over the design of the front cover – and wanted to create an amazing graphic so that it felt like a major piece of content.
562
563Placeit (https://placeit.net/) allows you to create truly beautiful in-situ images of your website, app, book or even video (like the graphic I used for #2 in this list).
564
56514 Improve your SEO
566
567If you’re creating content regularly then you should be researching which keywords to target on your blog. This tool will help you quickly find words and phrases your audience are searching for. Keyword Tool: 750+ Google Keyword Suggestions for Free. Use 192 Google Domains & 83 Languages (Keyword Tool: 750+ Google Keyword Suggestions for Free. Use 192 Google Domains & 83 Languages) is easy and simple to use (instead of the better but more complicated Google keyword tool) and gives you keywords for Google, Bing, YouTube, Amazon and the App Store.
568
56915 Find out what content gets most attention online
570
571How do you research what to write about on your blog? A great way of finding topics that people want to read about is by searching for what others have written about already.
572
573With Buzzsumo (BuzzSumo: Find the Most Shared Content and Key Influencers) you can find what content performs the best defined by how often it’s shared. So you can quickly see what is working well in an industry. A must-have tool if you are blogging.
574
57516 Create Irresistible Headlines (for non-copywriters)
576
577Do you ever get stuck figuring out what to call your latest blog post or ebook?
578
579I know how hard it is to come up with that attention-grabbing headline, and I know just how important it is to get people to click on your link. So I always run my draft headlines through the Headline Generator.
580
581This tool is the secret to generating click-worthy headlines every time, and it’s free – The Headline Generator (http://imhv.com/headlinegenerato...)
582
583Just enter the info about your post, your product, your market etc. and it magically generates effective attention-grabbing headlines that convert for you.
584
58517 Sharpen your writing skills (for non-copywriters)
586
587I’ve always known my skills lie outside of writing copy. Granted I can get the message across usually, but I’m nowhere near ‘good copywriter’ status. Shame. So I rely on this tool to help me make my copy clear and bold.
588
589Hemingwayapp (http://www.hemingwayapp.com/) is a brilliant free app, which improves the readability of your copy. Simply paste your copy into the website and it will highlight long, complex sentences and common errors.
590
59118 Map out and optimise your sales funnel
592
593Confused by what step to create next in your sales funnel? Which comes first, your email sequence or your ‘thank-you’ page? There is a tool that
594
595Lets you map out every step of your funnel in a horizontal layout. So you can see your users journey page by page. I use Gingko app (https://gingkoapp.com) to map out brilliant sales funnels that I want to ‘swipe’ too (Shhhhhh).
596
597Tech solutions
598
59919 Get Website Peace of mind
600
601Will you get hacked? How do you keep your site bug-free? Will your site load quickly enough for people to stick around? Are your meta descriptions loaded and the correct length? Have you linked your social profiles to your website?
602
603These are just a few of the ‘website issues’ that you can forget about if you use wpcurve (http://www.fionaflintham.com/wpc...). They are a Word Press support service where you get unlimited small fixes, 24/7 world wide, same day turnaround from $69 per month. I cannot recommend them enough. They are proactive, highly efficient and worth every cent.
604
60520 Find your files on any device
606
607If you want to be able to find any file or document on any of your devices then Dropbox (Dropbox) is a must. It keeps them all synched seamlessly and safe in the cloud.
608
609You can use it for free or with the pro account you get 1 TB (1,000 GB) of storage and powerful sharing features for $99 per year. I use it to share files with clients and collaborate on projects.
610
61121 Make fillable pdf files
612
613Ever spent ages fiddling around with your PDF files and still not figured out how to get the hyperlinks working? Or want to make your checklist ‘fillable’ so that your customers can fill out the sheet? Here’s the perfect solution.
614
615PDFescape (https://www.pdfescape.com/) will save you time, make your ebook or cheatsheet insanely useful and it’s free. Simply upload your PDF file, then start editing.
616
61722 Create effective opt-in boxes
618
619If you want to capture email addresses on your site (you do don’t you?!), then Leadboxes from LeadPages Software - Mobile Responsive Landing Page Generator makes it super easy. Plus you’ll create lovely boxes that look professional and work.
620
621I also love their landing page templates – there are hundreds of them. You can select by conversion rate so you know the template you choose will get results. Leadpages starts at $25 per month for a year. (Leadboxes is a feature within leadpages).
622
62323 Test new copy or a new layout
624
625Ever wanted a quick review of a new page on your website or app? This tool allows you to see and hear a 5-minute video of a real person using your site or app (for free).
626
627You submit your URL to Peek user testing (http://peek.usertesting.com/) and within a couple days (sometimes hours) you’ll receive a 5-minute video of a random person figuring out how to use your site – often a real eye-opener!
628
62924 Be secure online
630
631We do everything online these days don’t we? I have over 50 different accounts and logins that I need to remember. Lastpass (Password Manager, Auto Form Filler, Random Password Generator & Secure Digital Wallet App) remembers your passwords so you only need to remember your one master code. I wish I’d known about it five years ago.
632
633You can upgrade for $12 per year to keep them synched on all your devices. Complete time saver but mostly, peace of mind.
634
635Save time and be more effective with online tools
636
637The Internet has unlocked a colourful and exciting world to many small businesses. We now have everything at the touch of a button. So to not use online tools to simplify your business and life would be a travesty!
638
639My advice to you is to focus on what you want an online tool to do for you. Spend time only on the ones where you can see a clear benefit.
640
641If you’re not using a new tool 5 or 6 weeks after downloading it – clear out. Get rid of tools that don’t work for you, and focus on getting the best out of the exceptional ones.
642
643We all want to banish overwhelm and feel on top of things don’t we?
644
645These tools will enable you to feel in control. And when you feel in control, you’re more likely to be in control - and succeed in your online business.

652SessionStack is a tool that allows you to easily understand and reproduce issues in the client side of web apps by visually recreating what actually happened.
653
654
655The tool can be used in two major ways:
656
657Log errors and events during the user session which can later be replayed to provide you with the whole context of what actually happened. This will save you time from reading log messages, trying to figure out what were the actual steps to reproduce the issues.
658Allow your users to report an issue by recording it directly in your web app without making them install any third party software. This will save your users time, because they won’t have to fill up forms, attach screenshots etc. It will also save you time, because many times, the information that is provided by the users is not sufficient. There can also be very important information like JavaScript errors which will be ignored by the user but is captured by SessionStack.
659In both cases, you will be able to focus on actually improving your product instead of figuring out how to reproduce problems.
660
661You can see quick demos (no registration required) here: https://www.sessionstack.com/demos/
662
663You can use both a SaaS version or install it on your own servers.
664

732Small developing businesses need to progressively implement organization processes to help structure and monitor their activity, but without resorting to complex business apps or specific development solutions. What they really need is flexibility and responsiveness.
733
734We created RowShare with just that in mind.
735
736RowShare is a tool that is faster to use than a spreadsheet and far more customizable than any specialized business software. Based on shared tables, RowShare collects and centralizes information in a flexible way so as to facilitate organization within a team.
737
738
739Here are a just a few examples of what you can do with RowShare: project management, employee directory, invoice monitoring, lead tracking, hardware inventory…
740
741RowShare boasts a user-friendly interface packed with collaboration and productivity features:
742
743Ability to share your tables line by line or globally, read-only or read-write
744Notifications of updates to your tables
745Visual attachments (including photos and videos)
746Document generation
747And the exclusive Excel-Sync feature to modify your RowShare table from Microsoft Excel and combine the power of a spreadsheet with an intelligent organizational tool.

753Written Mar 3
754Instead of providing a list of tools, I thought I'd give you a bigger breakdown of each element of these productivity and project management tools available to entrepreneurs.
755
756Task Management
757
758
759Entrepreneurs can't get through the day without properly managing their tasks. When you choose a task management tool as an entrepreneur, you need to ask yourself these questions:
760
761Which ones offer the most features, compatibility with other major software, are easy to use, and are well-reviewed?
762Here are a few options for entrepreneurial task management software:
763
764Wrike
765Want a drag-and-drop task management system that’s great both for individual use and for group projects? Create and manage tasks based on due date and urgency with this tool.
766Trello
767It relies on the Kanban system of project management for users to visually organize their tasks. Use Trello to divide projects up by tasks, and then edit those tasks with descriptions, labels, checklists, and even attachments.
768hiTask
769This software is nice because it offers plenty of features—calendar, grouping, tasks, and subtasks, to name a few—yet is able to organize all of it onto one screen, so you don’t need to jump around different folders looking for your next to-do.
770Slack... or their Alternatives
771
772
773According to Rachel Burger; "Millennials, as a community-oriented generation, tend to be “plugged in†at all times—be it on their computer, on their phone, or even on their watch. For a majority of young people, being completely disconnected for an undefined period of time is terrifying—and it’s not just disconnection from the internet, but disconnection from their peers."
774
775What does that mean for the entrepreneur of today?
776
777Get online... and stay there.
778
779Here are some alternatives to Slack that can increase productivity and connectedness:
780
781Kaleo
782Delivers an in-app experience, so you don’t need to go outside of your existing workflow to get the answer you need.
783Ryver
784This is a completely free Slack alternative that isn’t open source.
785Contriber
786This team-based project management application focuses on the bigger picture, allowing project managers to have an overview of what’s happening in the company and, most importantly, how decisions were made right in chat logs.
787Be Agile
788
789
790As 2016 progresses, trends indicate that businesses with IT projects will use more and more Agile concepts for their project management. As an entrepreneur, you might want to take a look at a few of these options for navigating your entrepreneurial maze.
791
792Atlassian Jira + Agile
793Project managers can make customized workflows, visualize QA issues, and keep in constant communication with “HipChat,†and the software offers a system called “Release Hub†that makes sure your product is really “complete†when it’s sent out to the final customer.
794SprintGround
795Made with software developers in mind — users can easily parse out projects, versions, and releases.
796VersionOne
797Users can pick up VersionOne and quickly learn how to drag-and-drop on the Kanban boards, place comments, and keep up with their teammates’ and personal tasks right from the dashboard.
798Hopefully one of these tools will help catapult you into entrepreneurial greatness! Or at least, help you climb your way up the stairs to project management awesomeness.
799
800Cheers!

826Stop doing the same thing twice
827
828Effective leaders act immediately. To constantly revisit commitments and obligations, becomes overwhelming and is not effective for time management. As soon as there is a phone call to make or an email to write, take the action, delegate it or say no to the task rather than waiting or saving the task for later.
829
830Always have a capture tool right next to you, where you can write everything that you committed yourself to do. Later spend time going through that list and taking the necessary actions to clear the task, delegate it or simply saying no. Mission Control offers a great approach to elevate performance and productivity.

834
8352. Start using a CRM
836
837Productive people, use a CRM (Customer Relations Manager) where all activity done during the day is saved in the system for future reference. You no longer have to remember what was the last conversation with certain client. With this tool, you can save and classify tasks by priority, due date or person in charge and print daily reports that make your day extremely productive.
838
839If you use the system constantly it will replace writing things down on random pieces of paper or sticky notes and then having to manually plan your day by those notes.
840
841Before leaving your office or ending the day, print the report for the next day, it will take a few seconds, and it will make a huge difference in your productivity the next day. I personally recommend Zoho, if this is your first time using a CRM system.
842
843
844
8453. The two killers you must watch out for
846
847The two killers that will take your productivity away, and will bring procrastination to your day are boring tasks and urgent tasks.
848
849
850If you can tackle the hardest and least appealing tasks first, you can enjoy and have fun through your day with the stuff that you like the most.
851
852There is always urgent stuff that needs to get, done Gary Keller talks about: What’s the one thing I can do such that by doing it, everything will be easier or unnecessary? If you don’t focus on getting the one thing that is most urgent, days and weeks can go by, and the pressure keeps accumulating. If you want to be more productive, it is important that you can spot what are the most urgent tasks that will keep your momentum going.
853
854Mornings are very important because that’s when your battery is recharged and you have more will power. A morning routine that works for you, can add a tasty touch of productivity to your day.
855
8564. Cookie monster – Meeting monster
857
858The same way cookie monster will take all the cookies on the plate; meeting monster can take all the time from your day. Productive people are always paying attention to the monster that comes and sits down in the meeting room.
859
860A good way to shut the door and protect yourself from the monster, is to be clear that everyone is aware that the meeting will stick to the schedule created prior . Whenever the meeting goes of topic or of schedule you have to be brave and grab the and bring everyone back to topic. You can use this 3 allies in your favor:to fight sword
861
862· Harvest, a simple online time tracking software.
863
864· Get rid of coffee, donuts and cell phones from meetings.
865
866· Have clear goals ahead of time, and write down an agenda.
867
868· The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot. —Michael Altshuler
869
870>>>Download The 8 Secrets of successful entrepreneurs Checklist <<<
871
8725. The power of “noâ€
873
874It’s a short word with amazing power, productive people are not afraid to use it. Most of the time the responses we give to other people when they make a request or ask for something look something like this…
875
876I don’t know, maybe or I’m not certain. This phrase comes from our mouth, and the first thing they produce is confusion. It will take time to follow up with them and give a definite answer to their requests. Or maybe by answering “maybe†you might be committing to something you are not even planning on doing and you will have to cancel anyway. Guess what, you are not being productive solving confusions that you could’ve avoided by simply saying no.
877
878Jack Canfield asks an important question in his book “The Power of Focus†is what i’m doing right now helping me to achieve my goals?
879
880He says “it takes practice. It also means saying NO a lot more.â€
881
882
883According to some research done at the University of California, the more difficult that you have to say no, it’s more likely you will experience stress, burnout and even depression.
884
885Start getting used to saying no if you want to become a productivity master.
886
8876. Check your email once a day
888
889Productive people know that checking the phone for e-mails can become a big interruption.
890
891They know that having a schedule to check emails is more productive. If you are scared of missing an important email during the day, you can use an app called IFTT where you place commands to receive example.customer for email best notifications your from only
892
893It might be good to set an auto responder that lets senders know, by when will you be able to read the email.
894
895Time is really the only capital that any human being has, and the only thing he can’t afford to lose. —Thomas Edison
896
8977. Multitasking is not helping
898
899It’s common to hear someone proudly say, “I’m good at multitasking†in reality multitasking is actually lowering your productivity levels. Studies done by Harvard prove why our productivity levels go down by as much as 40%. When we are multitasking, we don’t actually multitask. The truth is that we can’t multitask, we just switch from one activity to another, interrupting ourselves every time we do it, and loosing time in the process.
900
901Two ways to stop multitasking
902
9031. The best way to stop interruptions is to turn them off, in the case of your cell-phone, you can turn it off for the hours you need to concentrate.
904
9052. Use your lack of patience to your advantage, set shorter and unrealistic deadlines, you will see that your stress levels will make you work at your optimal performance.
906
9078. One of THE most powerful tools: delegating
908
909Finally, highly productive people understand that they’re not the smartest and skilled persons in their organization. Start doing the things that you are good at, instead of taking time to do things that others might do faster. In order to do this, you must be able to trust them, if by any reason you can’t trust them, it would be important to start doing activities that can develop mutual respect, openness, understanding and empathy.
910
911Start trusting others to do their jobs, so you can focus on your own.

993As a startup founder, what you need most for development is CONNECTION.
994
995(1)
996You need to get exposure and build network by participating loads of activities.
997Using Meetup.com, you can attend many social activities host by entrepreneurs. Although many of them are coming from startups, please don't think that it cannot provide you great things. From chatting with them, you will know the most update thing. Sometimes, their network to other big companies may help you too. Find your people - Meetup.
998
999
1000(2)
1001During the meet up, you need to collect contacts and follow up right after it. For contact exchange and management, I recommend this app Pocknect. You can visit the following link: Pocknect - Turn Event Contact to Connections or its Facebook Pocknect for details.
1002
1003And you can also take 1 min to have a quick glance at the video: http://vimeo.com/101268013.
1004
1005
1006
1007
1008Collecting business cards is not the end of networking. To handle these cards, Pocknect helps preventing you from losing the contact even you lost the business card; also it is embedded with follow up function and reminder so that you won't forgot to contact that person after the event losing a chance of networking.
1009
1010(3) After that, you can need to manage your sales. From meeting potential leads to finishing a deal, there is a user friendly and inexpensive (USD 9/ month) tool available now, pipedrive.
1011
1012
1013It helps your sales team to organise the your sponsorship and deals. You can classify them into different stages like Contacts, Follow up, Quotation, Free trail, etc. Under each deal, you can check the sales or sponsor amount and items used.
1014
1015(4) It is vital that you shouldn't neglect the significance of internal concoction. One online tool is Trello http://trello.com.
1016
1017
1018You can use it to record down things you are responsible. Sharing among all team members enables every one has perfect information of each other and easy to keep track.
1019
1020(5) Of course, for every social activity, you always want to report the expense to the company. In order to record down all the expenses, you can use Receipt Bank https://app.receipt-bank.com/ses....
1021
1022
1023It is like a free desk top version of Expensify. Good for organising expenses and made accounting work much easier later on.

1030Here are 4 apps that I recommend to be used in your business. Hope it helps!
1031
1032Facebook Pages Manager App helps you communicate with your audience on the go and keep up with activity on all your Pages.
1033Instructions to use Facebook Pages Manager:
1034
1035Download the Facebook Pages Manager App on your iPhone, iPad and Android.
1036After you download the app, log into Facebook.
1037You’ll have instant access to all of your Pages.
1038If you curate content for your blog or social media profiles, then you must have a reader like Feedly where you can get the latest articles that are more relevant to your business.
1039Here are some useful tips to get you started with Feedly mobile:
1040
1041Click on the search icon to explore all the content on Feedly. If you already have something in mind, go ahead and search for it.
1042If you’ve logged in with Facebook or Twitter, Feedly will access your profile and present a few topics that you might be interested in.
1043If you’re still not quite sure what you’re looking for, scroll through the list of popular topics for inspiration. Clicking any of these topics gives you a list of popular sites related to your topic. Browse these sites until you find one you like, then click the plus icon to add it to your Feedly.
1044Google Analytics is a free and reliable web analytic software in the market. Web Analytics is crucial for every website, even for a small blog.
1045Check out my guides: Integrate Google analytics into your website and Set Google Analytics Goals
1046
1047Genius Scan automatically converts the images into editable PDF files. Moreover, this scanner app is free-of-charge!
1048Going paperless is a huge trend. It’s not only about workflow automation and data accessibility. Furthermore, the fewer documents you print, the more trees are left out there to absorb carbon dioxide.

1096I can recommend you LiveChat as the tool to organize your customer support. Here’s how it can help you boost your productivity:
1097
1098-> You’ll save your time spent on helping your customer, because almost all of their issues are handled during the first chat. So you don’t have to spend your time on sending e-mails, follow-ups etc. What is more your customer service agents are able to handle a few chats at a time (and no one can handle more than 1 call at a time;)).
1099
1100
1101-> You’ll save your time thanks to keeping all the customers information in one place. LiveChat has a built - in ticketing system, integrations with most popular CRMs and social media (Twitter, Facebook).
1102
1103-> You’ll save your time spent on writing the same answers over and over again. We have a feature called “canned responsesâ€, which are pre-populated answers to the most popular questions that can be recalled with just a few keystrokes.
1104
1105-> You’ll save your time thanks to the automation of the tool. You can also use LiveChat as your sales tool. It can automatically send invitation to chats to the most valuable visitors.

1114I am going to target my answer to entrepreneurs with a new venture.
1115
1116Why? Because 4 out of 5 entrepreneurs generating $25/k+ per month are building their business, not looking for learning tools.
1117
1118What is the best tool? I highly reccomend* Profiles.io | Instantly Call Leads. While their software is built for sales reps, every entrepreneur is a sales rep at one time and another.
1119
1120*It's FREE, it WORKS, and you WILL LEARN about your customers.
1121
1122Profiles.io is a two-line script you drop in the footer of your landing page. Anytime someone signs up on your landing page,
1123you receive a text with their phone number
1124you receive an email with a profile outlining their influence and interests
1125the email you receive has template messages to send personalized emails
1126
1127Hesitations: I mentor a number of companies. The biggest hesitation is, "We aren't collecting phone numbers" or "Do signups really want us to call them?"
1128
1129“Lack of confidence is the largest roadblock to success.â€
1130
1131I remind them that people buy your product/services because they trust you. Trust is why great UX is so important.
1132
1133I also remind my companies that the amount customers pay is alway less than the value they receive. What's a better way to know what your customers want then to call? With email, your customers will give you the quickest response they can.
1134
1135I've called leads who turned out to be investors snooping, customers that don't understand the product with a $xx,xxx budget, and individuals who referred many influential friends and tweeted at us about our level of customer love.
1136
1137The app will also alert you when a VIP signs up.
1138
1139I am not sure how they know who is who, but my understanding is the scrape all the web and run the data through a influencer algorithm they designed. While there are a few bugs, it seems to work well enough for me.
1140
1141Well, that turned out to be longer than expected. Hope it helps!!
1142
1143
1144Continued Reading:
1145Why you need to call every signup user within 5 minutes! via Close.io
1146What are some great B2B marketing campaigns that can be run for under $2,500?

1297
1298It supports multiple Apps to automate these business processes.

1302
1303Importance of emails for businesses
1304
1305It’s an undeniable fact that Email plays a vital role as a modern day business communication tool. Among many other reasons, Emails are used for the purpose of ‘Record Keeping’. They remain in users’ inboxes creating a virtual paper trail, considered to be more efficient than maintaining printed documents.
1306
1307BuzzFlow connects these ad-hoc internal or customer email conversations to relevant business topics such as a sales opportunity, procurement function or asset maintenance.
1308
1309
1310For example, you can keep all the relevant emails tagged to a sales opportunity or a project and BuzzFlow will share these live emails with team members. Unlike other systems, BuzzFlow does not copy emails, it just keeps a link to the email inyour inbox so that future communication on that email is also tracked and shared with the rest of the team members.
1311
1312Insummary, BuzzFlow is a FREE productivity tool which helps you to run the entire business from one place at a fraction of a cost. It's tight integration with email makes your email correspondence with others more traceable and provides a unique service in the enterprise SaaS domain to take your business to the next level.

1404Hi, as an entrepreneur or small business- there are many different types of productivity tools and software out there that can help you. It sounds like collaborative tools would benefit you as these are great for productivity. There are the usual bits of software such as Dropbox, Evernote and Google drive/docs. etc. But these do not include features specifically designed for productivity and collaboration!! Page on Clinked features a specific package made for collaborating as a team in an SME or larger. Clinked has three flexible options so you only pay for what you need. There is the SmartDrive package, where users/team members are notified when a file they follow(or have added to) is updated or a new version is added. It also has the @mention functionality where users can mention another member of staff who will then be alerted to the comment/post. There is also Clinked Collaboration or Enterprise packages. The collaboration one sounds like it might suit what you're wanting; it allows you and your team to collaborate and manage projects, discuss them and it also offers real time updates- this would be the best in terms of productivity, as you and other members of your business can access files anytime on any device- therefore increasing efficiency and productivity.
1405Clinked has all of the details on the website. I work for Clinked so if there is anything else you would like to know in regard to the collaborative package just let me know and I can help.

1477I think the best way to enhance a better project management is the way you handle it. We see that a manager has to work on multiple projects making them difficult to operate and manage. A simpler form of doing it is having a right tool which will make it simpler and smooth.
1478
1479Recently I have been using this app Called Zaptywhich is way much better than any other platforms available today. You canrequest for the free trial if it solves your purpose then go ahead for thesubscription. Teamwork, To-do, Task Management, Online Project Management
1480
1481It has some really good features such as easycommunication, chatting, video calling, project and task management, approvals, polls, discussions with a single app.
1482
1483Essentially, it gives you everythingthat a project management requires. Basically, a one stop shop for all yourcore productivity and team collaboration needs. It is completely free for alimited set of functionality for as long as you like. And it’s very easy touse. Give it a try. Its worth!
1484
1485#.. So what makes you decide a product or toolwhich could be good for your team to use?
1486
1487We are tiredof being compared to Slack, HipChat and even Asana. But we are also very happyabout being placed in the “big leagueâ€. Oh yes, these are great work apps andhave made teamwork and productivity so effective for so many teams. And Slackis a wonderful app particularly if all you are looking at is conversations andnotifications from other productivity tools.
1488
1489But theseare still not comprehensive. A team simply cannot use just Slack or HipChat toget work done. They are just chat apps without task & project managementcapabilities. Currently the basic work management apps are divided into 5 maingroups-
1490
1491·
1492
1493Task & project management tools: Asana,Trello, Basecamp, etc.
1494
1495·
1496
1497Chatting/messaging tools: Slack,HipChat, etc.
1498
1499·
1500
1501Emails: Gmail,Outlook, etc.
1502
1503·
1504
1505Video calling: Skype,Lync, Hangouts
1506
1507·
1508
1509Document collaboration &storage: Googledocs, Dropbox, Google drive etc.

1588A recent study we carried by interviewing 127 of our clients (half of which are startups) has shown that people and teams have a huge motivation to be more organized and productive. We also found that the #1 reason why these teams fail is because the tools they use are too complicated to adopt. "Employees lack confidence in their ability to make proper use of such tools". User-onboarding is tedious and inputting information is felt more as a pain rather than a benefit. Filling in boxes and forms doesn't feel natural or appealing.
1589
1590At Twoodo we've created a team collaboration tool to easily create workflows right from within team conversations. You organize as you discuss. It includes team messaging, private messaging, task management, a shared calendar, levels of importance, a file manager, actionable tagging, email integration, robust search, peace of mind and so much more..â€

1601Around $37 Billion are lost yearly due to employee misunderstandings and bad communication (Holmes Report)
1602Companies and teams that attempt to solve this with social collaboration tools find that more than 50% of people do not use the tools (WSJ)
1603The 4 biggest pains of remote team collaboration are poor task management, long email threads, difficulty in scheduling virtual meetings and bad communication tools (SoftwareAdvice)

1619This is a very good question and something which a lot of people struggle with. Please see below for the top 3 tools that i use in my company
1620
1621Last Pass:
1622Hands down one of the best and one of the most important software`s for business personal. The software allows you to store your passwords for different sites. So when you go to a site, you see an option of already saved username and password. You can select any and then proceed from there.
1623
1624Another huge pro and the main reason why we used it at aitomation is that you can share your username and password with someone. They will be able to log in using your username and password but will not be able to see your password. This is of great help specially when you are working with third parties and have to give your username and passwords. Even sometimes with employees when we dont want to share certain data, we give them the access using lastpass and once it is done, we stop the sharing. The advantages of this are countless.
1625
1626This way we dont have to reset the password again and again.
1627Our password remains secure.
1628Our efficiency increases.
1629We get the job done without much hassle and worry.
1630The software is also easy to understand and use. So this is a highly recommended software for business personal.
1631
1632To learn more, please visit Lastpass.
1633
1634Wave
1635
1636Accounting is one of the key things in businesses and if you have done it for long. You know the importance of it. Keeping track of accounting and your business personal is hard and we dont recommend using excel on it (Something which we did earlier in our business). You need a good software to keep track of whats happening and then generate reports for you. Reports like income report, balance sheet and cash flow plus more. This might not seem that important to early businessman as they think that they can sort it out later. Dont make this mistake.
1637
1638Hubspot
1639
1640If you arent using it already, you are missing out. One of the best Customer management software out there. It has a ton of features many of which we dont know ourselves.
1641
1642This software is basically to take care of all your customer interactions and from the very top of the sales funnel leads you to the eventual sale. This software is highly detailed and is recommended by almost all business. At aitomation we use it primarily for customer relationship management but the software extends far beyond than that.

1756Google(Drive,Docs,Sheets,Slides,Forms) :

1758(My Fav)One of the best tools to maintain documents, presentations, excels and taking a survey.Projects are saved automatically.
1759Google Docs for Word documents.
1760Google Sheets for Excel spreadsheets.
1761Google Slides for PowerPoint presentations.
1762Google Forms for easily collecting simple survey responses.
1763
1764News (Ycombinator) :
1765
1766Y Combinator is an American seed accelerator, started in March 2005.Apart from funding new upcoming startups, the excellent news for us is that they allow the content from your website to be posted on them at this link here .Your startup must have good content like blog. The bad news is that they have a strict guidelines to follow.
1767
1768Github : GitHub is where people build software. More than 11 million people use GitHub to discover, fork, and contribute to over 28 million projects. For a tech startup, hosting your source code is very important and Github fufills almost every aspect of it.However,If you have more than a few private repositories, the pricing model will be an important consideration.Another alternate Bitbucket, It’s not straightforward to compare the two, because they charge for different aspects of the service. With GitHub you pay per private repository; with Bitbucket you pay by contributor.
1769
1770Trello: Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into cards and boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what’s being worked on, who’s working on it, and where something is in process. Trello keeps track of everything, from the big picture to the minute details.
1771
1772
1773Canva :
1774As a startup, we need to produce banners, different ads sizes, other graphics for our marketing content, web site, etc. While Canva is no replacement for Photoshop,CorelDraw, for many tasks, it’s a lifesaver. They’ve combined helpful templates, a great catalog of design assets, and simple editing features to create a graphic platform for the masses.
1775
1776Crowdfire : Looking for a Marketer to grow on Social Media? Crowdfire is one of the online marketing tools where you can have social media strategy and marketing plans. Personally, what one of the truly amazing feature I love is the auto respond direct message to new Twitter followers. Very handy if you are thinking of branding seriously.
1777
1778
1779Buffer : Another great app for marketing and branding your startup.Buffer lets you compose tweets and status updates—which can be posted across multiple networks at once—and helps you decide when to post them. You can post them immediately, or choose the “Add to Buffer†option, which lets Buffer decide when to post it.
1780
1781
1782WordPress:
1783
1784The marketing heart of most startups is their web site. There are so many web site tools out there, like Weebly,Wix,Squarespace, that it’s hard to know what platform to use. For us, the choice was simple. One in every 6 web sites in the world are built with WordPress. I like these odds! With over 32,000+ plugins available,Same number of ready made templates and great forum around the web ,there is not a thing you can’t do with this platform.
1785

It saves time in the appointment because payment is handled before the client arrives. Check its pricing here.

1903I think no one here has mentioned about email marketing solutions which serve as a platform for broadcasting product information to the masses.
1904
1905Now for entrepreneurs, the best fit for email marketing would be a solution that is affordable and has high inbox delivery. Plus other features like email editors, autoresponders, A/B testing, etc could help to generate more ROI.
1906
1907MailGet (http://www.formget.com/mailget/) is one such solution. With it you can send 10,000 emails to 10,000 subscribers per month in just $30.

1917Kyle Gray, Content Marketing Manager at WP Curve
1918Written Jan 27, 2015
1919I work for an online startup called WP Curve. We run completely remotely, our team of 30+ is all in different locations around the world, so we rely heavily on web apps to keep us productive and communicating. I wrote up a few of the tools we use for productivity below and I have others listed for marketing, management, communication, accounting, and more in this article.
1920
192135 online business tools that keep our business running
1922
1923Trello: Trello is used for team task management. It uses a system of cards and boards to create a visual way to track how a project is progressing and who is doing what. It is a very open ended product, so you can customize it to fit the needs of your team or project.
1924
1925We keep different activities to different boards. We track and plan our our content, delegate tasks to the team, and keep notes for calls and meetings.
1926We like the email to card feature, where you can automatically create a Trello card with an email. This makes it easy to transfer that email thread into an actionable task list instead of letting it get buried in your inbox. We also use Zapier to create recurring tasks, more on that below.
1927
1928Zapier: Zapier is a powerful tool that integrates hundreds of web apps and allows you to automate tedious tasks.
1929
1930We use this tool to primarily automate our trello board, we set recurring tasks with this zap like drafting a weekly update email, checking for failed payments and payroll reminders.
1931
1932RescueTime: RescueTime is great for keeping track of where you are spending time. It integrates with your computer and your browser to track where you are spending your time. It generates a report where you can rate the productivity of the apps and websites you use to quantify your productivity.
1933
1934I have used this simultaneously on multiple devices before and it does a good job of keeping up and giving me good idea of where my time is spent. The simple process of having the time you spend on your computer measured and tracked can yield big improvements on your productivity over time.
1935
1936Evernote: A note taking app that allows for the creation of short lists, notes, tasks, voice recordings and more. One account can integrate on a desktop, mobile, and web app so you have your notes everywhere.
1937
1938The flexibility of Evernote makes it a great tool for both business and personal use. We use it to store ideas for new content, keep notes. Alex uses Evernote and recommends Jason Frasca’s blog for tips and guides on how to make the most out of Evernote.

1964Toky (https://toky.co) has been of great use for us. We are able to receive calls from anywhere in the planet using the click-to-call widget, have the calls forwarded to the right people and to our cellphones when we're not available on our desks. 1997medium sized business, you need to stay on top of your competition. All you need is to ‘muzzle’ or make the best use of your biggest adversary, technology. Advancement in technology has changed employees’ work habits, besides sending home some business owners. Technology too has changed the management of their daily goals and the way they accomplish tasks. And, for you to stay on top of your competition, you need to have right tools that will give you an edge over your competitors. However, this progress has also brought increased workloads that require multitasking for the sales reps as well as the sales managers. Eventfully, it may lead to decrease effectiveness if it is not handled wisely. So, how do entrepreneurs actually get any work done?
1998
1999Choosing the right software
2000
2001 There a loads of programs out there. However, only the best works effectively, not just any top program. How do you reach your customers? Do you send them emails? How do you reach your prospective customers? Do you do cold calling or cold emailing?
2002Are you planning on holding regular live meetings? Is customer/market behaviour analytics your concern? Your guess is as good as mine. That you need to leverage the power of a good software with a competent sales team. Saleshandy, a cheap and highly effective software can help you achieve your marketing goals with ease.

2071If you're building a mobile app, I would highly recommend that you go with the Lean Startup philosophy and prototype it first. For realistic mobile app prototyping, my favorite tool by far is Proto.io.
2072
2073The features and robustness of Proto.io outweigh the other competitors, but the real reason I love to use it is because it is very simple and intuitive to create a realistic mobile app prototype including animations -- without any coding.
2074
2075I mean, check out this Spotify prototype that can even play music: Spotify interactive prototype on Proto.io Spaces
2076
2077
2078Some of the features that make Proto.io great are:
2079Built in native UI components for iOS, Android and Windows
2080An editor that let's you create a high-fidelity prototype without having to design in Photoshop or Sketch first
2081Web based so you can access it from anywhere and don't have to download and refresh your prototypes manually
2082Offline native apps for iOS and Android so you can view your prototypes on the actual mobile device without a connection (you can also view prototypes in a mobile web browser for Windows phone or other touchscreen devices i.e. smartwatches)
2083Ability to customize screen size so you can design prototypes for any touchscreen device like a smartwatch or other IoT device
2084Ability to use your own designs, assets, video, audio or other multimedia
2085Easy sharing and collaboration: you can quickly invite an unlimited amount of reviewers to leave feedback and comment on a prototype through a short URL or QR code
2086Export to PDF or HTML: so you can print and embed your prototypes elsewhere
2087Anyway, check out their community of prototypes to see what people have built using the tool and you'll get a good sense of why it is powerful: Proto.io Spaces - Interactive prototype gallery
