25And more, ideally. I have in mind a board that you can put any character sheet image on. Then you lay special tokens I will make on top of it. Different tokens for different buttons layouts. Text imput single line or dual line or 3 lines, etc. Color them to select font color, things like that.
26Then you can click a preview button and it will spawn, to the side, an example of your board encoded with buttons wherever you laid those tokens down on it

What you're describing is a fair wage for that kinds of hands-on full-engagement community management, I just don't think that is something Berserk Games is going to pay for. I have never added (and will never add) anyone to the permaban list that didn't do something to earn their place on it as my goal is never to punish anyone, but rather to try to rehabilitate them for their negative behavior.

997Ok, so I had coyote and shockwave both come to me today with complaints that I essentially made you feel like you weren't allowed to do anything. So let me be more explicit.
998It is fine to moderate as normal. It is not fine to kickban somebody because they sent 2 messages in a row once. It is not ok to kick someone for saying hi to you and nothing else, assuming it isn't part of a spam campaign like people sending F over and over.  It is not fine to kick somebody "because they troll all the time" if you don't have records of that trolling.
999You are not required to be on-call all the time. However if you are around, and want to try to involve other moderators instead, you can post in the discord that assistance is needed. If you felt uncomfortable, please talk to me about it so we can discuss it. I did not enjoy waking up to an ambush from others.
1000Please let me know if you'd like more specifics, if there are other people you would like to bring on board, or if there are other suggestions you have to improve moderation. I am trying to establish a solution that doesn't revolve around constant complaints from users and you feeling like the only soldier in moderator town.

1402Just global keys that trigger scripting is the way Knil went for having scripted keys. They can be reprogrammed by the user in the options, but by default its the numpad. Not everybody even knows about them so I tend to ignore them

1440Hey man. I wanted to touch base with you. I'm seeing more reports again, and I would like to ask for a pair of small modifications to your approach.
14411) Please be more polite. A request is much more palatable than a "Do not spam chat." macros. Macros are fine in moderation, but please friendly them up.
14422) You are still being very quick to slam the door on offenses. This is sometimes (but certainly not always) in violation of the internal rules. This is mainly with "spam". If you'd like examples, I have been sent ones where you acted at the first chance when chat was otherwise quiet so the minor spam was not impacting anyone. I'm not looking to nitpick you on any one thing here though, that isn't what this is about. But you are harsh, and it rubs people the wrong way
1443Part of that is because you are our most active moderator, but part of it is because you are brusque and quick to act.
1444I appreciate you and that you are in a tough spot, and that it can be hard not to tell some of these people to eat trash and die
1445If you could work on these 2 elements of your approach, being politer and a bit easier on minor offenses, it could go a long way. There will always be trolls who are going to continue. And other times its just some people excited about a game or such

1531I just had a chat with my fiancée yesterday.
1532She doesn't like how salty I get after being criticized by whining trolls.

1534It sucks that I hear it from you all of the time because that means my efforts to prevent any issues are in vain.

1536Other moderators have no problem privately messaging me and telling me I am wrong, which we have been advised specifically NOT to do. Then we have an internal rules sheet created, which I am sure really only affects me in practice.

1538I get more flak from Berserk/other moderators than I do from chat trolls at this point.
1539It's just hard to handle with no incentive.
1540I started working for myself to get away from all of the office politics, and somehow I have found myself right back in the middle of them.
