1053I could see them using this as a way to justify banning people they don't agree with in other respects, which is not cool, not okay. However, I'm going to need more evidence. I'm also going to need to see more popular support for one policy or another. I need my actions to be popular.
1054this overuse of censorship is a threat to socialism on reddit as a whole, and making the rest of us look bad to newcomers.
1055This has been a concern of mine for a long time, which is why I tried for years to foster a more open subreddit. But people who agreed with this idea were not soldiers for this cause. They were not there when I needed them most and this caused my will to crumble, as it would for most people. So, unless I can be sure that I can count on people with this mindset, I don't know if I can take things in that direction.
